type of situation this week. If you are in a running back purgatory, so to speak, then he's a fine start. But just saying, I'm not all in on DeAndre yet. For me, I don't think that they're going to go with that hot hand approach. Regardless, even if DeAndre Washington is running incredibly well, we've seen so far this year that he already has and they haven't really gone with him. We've seen games where Jalen Richard does and we haven't gone with him.

I think what you're going to see is a close to 50-50 split, probably more towards 60-40 in the favor of D'Andre Washington, regardless. But if D'Andre Washington gets that volume of carries against the Chargers, he'll be good. I think he's going to be a fine play. This is 31st-ranked run defense, the Chargers are in Washington. What I liked is last week had three catches. But Andy, they might get Joey Bosa back this week. Back or you mean like to debut?

Sure. Well, I hope Bosa can play corner. Yeah. So, because I'm starting Cooper and Crabtree. If I had to start a pair for my starts of the week, it would be these two guys because I have Cooper and Crabtee at like 11 and 13 this week, both in wide receiver one consideration. I think you roll them out there. On the other side at the wide receiver, I feel like you are deciding which guy's going to have a big game. Is it going to be Benjamin? Is it going to be Tyrol Williams? Is it going to be Enman? And, uh...

I think that's a tough decision to make. Jason has made a choice. Yeah, I have two. And I believe we've made different choices. That's the really hard thing. So you're Tyroo Williams. Yes. Oh, I'm Tyrell Williams. No, no, no, I'm sorry. I don't believe I am. Wait. Am I Tyrell? I thought that's what you had told me. No, I'm Tyrell. I believe that I... So your house Tyrell. Yes. I'm house Benjamin. All right. I'm going to throw in and in into the ring just because I can't. You're just going to choose.

Choose Inman. We're going to hedge. But here's a deal. When you have these players, any one of those three can have a big blowup game. We actually have them very close. You have Travis Benjamin at 20, Williams at 24. I have Benjamin at 19, Tyrell at 16. Yeah. The reality, though, is it's- And nobody respects Inman, apparently. It's difficult. It is difficult as a fantasy owner to start any one of these guys. Even in a winnable, high-scoring matchup, I would rather start a guy that I am.

sure has volume in his offense, but maybe doesn't have the big ceiling that all three of these guys have, just so that I know what I'm getting. And going week after week, if you get a big week from one of these guys, especially if it's inman because he's doing it in back-to-back weeks, you trade that guy. You try to find value because I don't think there's going to be any one of these guys that goes the rest of the season as the predominant pass catcher.

I see something in our rankings that I think you two should speak to. Philip Rivers in this game going up against Oakland. Oakland is like a delightful sight for all passing offenses. You both have Philip Rivers ranked ahead of Andrew Luck. When push comes to shove, would you start Rivers over Luck? Luck plays against Chicago, but he's at home. You know, the thing with, I had Andrew Luck at number four.

um last night i had him at four and i was looking at my rankings again and i i might have moved him down a little too far because i do like the the matchup i expect that the bears are going to be able to score but the chicago bears have yet to give up 250 yards or more than two touchdowns to a quarterback so i you know maybe andrew luck comes in and has the best week that they've given up all year

I wouldn't be surprised at that, but how much further than their best is he going to do this season? So, you know, I am fine if you wanted to start Philip Rivers over luck or luck over rivers. Eli Manning hasn't had it together this far, but he's my start of the week because I think this is the right kind of matchup. The Packers are first against the run, 29th against the pass, and you have Shepard, Odo Buckham Jr. and Cruz, I expect this to be Odo Buckham Jr.'s get-right game. Are you guys on board with that narrative? Yeah, Green Bay is giving up 330 yards and two touchdowns through the air in their first three games. You've seen the...

just how devastated they've become when Sam Shield is not in the lineup. I think it continues. We do not have a full update on Shields yet. But missing this many games with a concussion is, that's a situation where that has to be, they need to make sure that he's right before he can get back out and play football. So I think that, I think Eli is a great start. I think that the three wide receivers.

I think it'll be Beckham. I agree with Andy that this is Beckham's game to really explode. But I'm okay playing all three of those guys this week. Yeah, I mean, Eli Manning was loved after week one because he threw three touchdowns. Since then, he's only thrown one touchdown, but he's actually played very well. He threw for 368 yards against the New Orleans Saints, but they ran in all the touchdowns. Washington, he threw for 350 yards again. And then last week, of course, he was terrible.

But who hasn't been terrible against the Minnesota Vikings? Right. I think I don't have any problem with, I would love to start Eli Manning. In fact, I am doing so. What do you do at running back for the Giants? You do not play a running back from the Giants. If you're in an absolute pinch, I assume that Jennings is not going to play, which means Orleans Darkway, you have that hope for that touchdown.

But I personally, I mean, you've got the lowest yards allowed per game from the Green Bay Packers on the ground. I don't like the running situation from the Giants. Yeah, it would be dark one standard in Bobby Rainey if you're into PPR. What do we think of Lacey this week? The Giants are the ninth ranked run defense. Lacey has been, I believe, single digits in every week except for one this year. Is it time to just have a permanent, different expectation for Eddie Lacey? Because right now he's, you know, nine, six.

12, no touchdowns on the year. He has been ho-hum for fantasy purposes. What's, uh, I think where, where it's a little shocking to me with Eddie Lacey is they're not getting him involved in the passing game where he showed that he's got pretty good chops for that, but they're just, they're choosing not to use him that way. They're choosing not to use him a ton.

anyways, but he's still being very efficient. He have a carry on the year. He was, he had the 100-yard game, so I think that they will try to keep him involved, but you're right. I think it's just adjust the expectation. Maybe he's now just the lower end running back to. Isaiah Crowell or Eddie Lacey rest of the season, because if Lacey's not involved in the passing game, Crowell's barely involved in the passing game. I'm going to take Eddie Lacey. I think I'm going to take Crowell. I think I'm going to take Crowell.

All right. That's rough, though. All right. Any other information from this game we want to share? Well, Aaron Rogers. Jason, you'd like Cobb in this matchup, correct? I do like Cobb. You know, look, they're coming off of a buy week. This is going to be a high scoring game. Aaron Rogers throws all of his touch. Aaron Rogers is my number one quarterback this week. Coming off a buy at home, he had another very large banana split.

So I believe that you're going to have Aaron Rogers throwing three touchdowns. And if he's throwing three touchdowns, I think, you know, I'm giving one to each of their three wide receivers. And Cobb is a fine flex play this week. All right. Let's get into the last matchup, Monday night football, Buccaneers, Panthers. We just heard Cam Newton's out. Jonathan Stewart's going to be out. Everybody's out. Sims might be out. Favorite player in this game? Devin Funches. Oh, my gosh.

Yeah, when Sims is out, Devin Funches is a, I wouldn't be surprised you make that connection. So if Sims is out, we are looking at a starting situation of Jacques Wiz Rogers. And Fazi and Cap on the other side, Cameron Artis Payne. That's delightful. Yeah, so look, what do you do here? Evans is a must start. Yes, must start. They've been a lot better at home as a defense as a whole.

Right. So this is why I've tempered my Winston and Evans and those expectations, but I still like Brate. I still like Evans and I still like, you know, the potential for this game to be that shootout. Maybe not as much with Newton out. Even right now, there is no over-under, right? Because we have basically the quarterback situation. So what's the narrative in this game that we need to understand his fantasy owners? I think you've really covered it. Sims must start. Brate, it's a...

a spectacular matchup. The Panthers are giving up tons of points to tight ends. So he's, he's a nice start for me. Kelvin, I think he's, I think he's still a final start. Derek Anderson, I know you've got your support here for Devin Funches, but Kelvin Benjamin's rookie year, he was more successful in those games with Derek Anderson than he was with Cam.

So I'm not worried at all about them not having a connection. Is Calvin Benjamin a top 10 wide receiver rest of the season? Yes or no? Yes. So you guys both buy in even after kind of the struggle week. Yeah. He did score last week, not high volume. Olson. Is Greg Olson a top two tight end rest of the season? Yes. Yeah, top two, three. I mean, he's really right on that two, three. And Cameron, rate was my start of the week.

Yeah, so I like him. So a question. I'm asking for a listener just rode in. Definitely a friend. Would you start Joe Flacco or James Winston? I would start James Winston personally. I think that Carolina's defense was a little bit exposed. It's going through that. What are you laughing at him? This is Mike's situation. No, it's a, it's a someone else. Mike has Flacco and Winston and he plays me.

But I expect that this could be a game where James Winston, you know, he chooses whether he throws, you know, four touchdowns or four interceptions. And he goes back and forth. I think this could be the touchdown version. Well, James is averaging 44 attempts a game. That's first in the league. Although you have a jerk cutter going full crumudge and hating everyone on his offense saying they want to throw less. They want Sims to run less.

So we'll see what actually happens. All right. We're going to move on. Okay, so I think there's a few options for both. We've got to start at the top with Tom Brady. He's back from the suspension. Last season, he averaged 39 pass attempts per game, which was third most in the NFL. This season, the Patriots have averaged 28.5 pass attempts per game, which is dead last in the NFL. So we know that the Patriots' offensive game playing is going to completely change. And I think a lot of sharp people are going to be on this, but there's probably still going to be a lot of people that...

fall victim to the recency effect and just haven't seen it happen yet. So they might not play Tom Brady. So he's definitely in play. Over his entire career, Brady has averaged 35 pass attempts in games where they've been favored by 10 or more points and the Patriots are favored by 10 points in this game. Yeah, I want to look at Aaron Rogers too. Back in 2014, he didn't throw a touch, or an interception at home the entire year. He averaged 3.12 pass touchdowns per game.
