injury report with that foot that was the concern over the summer certainly is something to monitor. Any chance that the lack of performance from Edelman wasn't just Brissette over the last couple of weeks? Not to me. When Garoppolo was in, Julian Edelman was great. And even when Berset was in, Julian Edelman looked great. Like Mike mentioned, he had that 90-yard reception that came back. Here's an important one. Stefan Diggs. Not practicing with the groin.

147 passagesThursday, Wednesday, didn't practice. Zimmer has said that he'll play, but you can't play him until you know that he's fully healthy. And Houston hasn't given up a lot. I know they lost JJ Watt, but it's a bad matchup. Tough, tough to start Diggs. All right, Eddie Royal.
He's my start of the week. Honestly, this morning already, I was looking up for more Eddie Royal news. That dude is always hurt. Yes, he is. There is no new information on Eddie Royal. We'll just have to keep monitoring. I still like him if he plays. Cam Meredith is your sneaky start if Eddie Royal is out because Meredith was already running more snaps than Alshan Jeffrey was getting as the three. And now as the three, four.
And now you have no white and no royal. I think Cam Meredith is one of those guys that you've got by weeks, you've got injuries. If you've floated him out there, he's in 100% of leagues waiver wire. I was going to say, if you want that glory play. Well, that happened. Who was the guy on the Bears that I'm thinking of last year? Because this exact same thing happened. Jeffrey was out. Royal was out. Oh, Wilson. Wilson. Yeah, right?
Yeah, yeah. Mark East Wilson. Yes. And all of a sudden, he was a play, and he was an 18-point week. And I'm not saying that's going to happen for Meredith. But look, the quarterback's generally throw to the wide receivers. And if he's the only one left or one of the only ones left, opportunity is king. Ted Gann, Devin Funches. Ooh, I love me some Devin Funches. I don't know why. Derek Anderson loves Devin Funches. This is ridiculous. I watch. I.
I really believe. It's so ridiculous. Devin Funchus. Hasn Funches caught no more than two passes in the entirety of the year in a game? Because he catches in punches. Yeah, regular season. Five catches in four weeks. What did he have this last week? I'm going to give you the ability for him to double his production to two catches a week. What did he have this last week, Andy?
uh this last week the two for 56 with a 48 yard catch i believe i'm not i'm not 100 on this but i believe that both of those passes were from derrick anderson in limited if he puts up two for 56 and zero i'm going to be thrilled yeah just thrilled all right yeah this morning you were singing devon funchis now you're singing devon he's all yours buddy tight ins eric ibrin he's not out sounds very doubtful out zach miller in
In and. Another beneficiary of all the in and delicious. Yes. Antonio Gates. I'm going to say they rest him one more week, but it really is a truly 50-50. And this is. I'm seeing Hunter Henry in so many starting lineups this week, and it worries me. Yes. I was going to say, be very wary. If you are a Hunter Henry, you're going to play him. If Antonio Gates plays, your production is going to get sliced in half. Virgil Green. He's practicing again.
So, yeah, I think there's a chance here. Kyle Rudolph? Yeah. He's in. Larry Dinell. I'll say no. Concussion protocol. I don't think he's going to make it. Will Ty becomes sneaky of the barfies. Yeah, he's a sneaky barfie. It's a good play in Green Bay. We like that to be a shootout. Well, if you watched last week, I mean, once Dinell went out, Will Ty was getting some targets. Clive Wofford. I think he plays.
He's got a back. He's back to practice. And Jason, I'm going to let you take this final one. It's very important. Oh, sure. It's your favorite position. Yeah. Dan Bailey. He looks like, I don't care. Doubtful. He's doubtful. And he's a very good kicker. He is. And a lot of people have Dan Bailey. So you got to go out and sign some other kicker at random that will affect your fantasy score. Fantasy Forecast.
All right, Jets take on the Steelers. This is going to be trouble. The Jets schedule right now isn't not good. It's not good. You've got to go to Pittsburgh. You've got to take on the Steelers. They're seven-point favorites. Derell Revis is not practicing today. It does not look like he's going to play. Not that that matters right now. Sure. And the Jets, I believe, next week, take on Arizona? On 10 days rest flying across the country. On Monday night football. So we've got...
Ryan Fitzpatrick, very, you know, Ryan Fitzpatrick's name right now should be associated with having the defense on the other side because he's throwing so many interceptions and making so many mistakes. You don't have Eric Decker most likely. And so I think Marshall and a noon wall are both very solid plays this week. Completely agree. I also, look, you can't really sit Matt Forte if he's one of your main starters, but you are going to have to start tempering expectations. It came out that Matt Forte,
The x-rays that he was seen taking, those were for his ribs. Those were rib x-rays, nothing with the legs or the knees or anything like that. So he's going to play. But Mike, you made this point on the radio the other day. Bilal's snap counts have been rising and his efficiency's been rising. Is this something where we're going to start seeing more of the time split and you have to temper your forte expectations? I have to imagine it is. Powell is a spectacular player. The Jets, the Jets organization really loves him.
They showed that love in a financial way. I like it when people do that. That's nice. But it just those first few games didn't make sense. Like maybe Powell was dinged up and that's why he wasn't getting out there. So Matt Forte is, to me, you can't consider him that top five type of running back that he was. For Ryan, I'll say this for Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Steelers are 30th in past defense. So they're giving up yards. If this, if there's any kind of a.
get right game for Ryan Fitzpatrick. It's this situation where Big Ben is going to rein the points on them. Fitzpatrick will have to sling it out. So I'm not, I don't have confidence to start him, but it would not be shocking at all to me if Ryan Fitzpatrick throws three. I don't disagree with you at all, and I have him.
much higher than either of you guys. I'm going to move them up. I have them at number 10, and it was a terrifying thing to do. But I think you're right. And the Steelers, there are a much better defense. If you look at them at home this year, they're the number four defense against the run. I don't think Forte and Powell find a lot of room. And I think, like you said, there's going to be a deficit in this game. Where do I have Fitzpatrick? 17. Yeah, it sounds about right for me. 16. I agree that it could be a get-well game, but I don't necessarily expect it to be. I think Pittsburgh's.
You know, they've been giving up a lot of yards total on the year, but they're still a really good defense. And Fitzpatrick has just been the worst. Now, what was this stat nugget you found out about Big Ben? Because you always bring up the home away difference with Drew Breeze. Yeah, so Drew Breeze has about a six point difference when he plays at home versus on the road, which is a very large fantasy points. Yes, he scores about six more fantasy points.
at home than on the road. Well, when I was looking at this up, and I go back to 2014, because I don't want to too old, you know, different offensive systems. Since 2014, Big Ben, he has averaged 12.16 more fantasy points per game at home than on the road. I mean, that's, I mean, that's unbelievable. I don't remember the last time I've seen a split that large. Actually, there is one, there, there's like a Jean-Claude Van Damme split.
Am I right? Thank you. Very nice. I needed you to find something quickly. Actually, there is one other split that is even more egregious than this. We'll talk about later. It's like a banana split. Okay. Okay. All right. Banana splits aren't egregious, by the way. They're delicious.

Matt Ryan or the Broncos defense.
Oh, we're going to find out this week in Denver. Broncos are at home. They are favored by five points. We have an over under 47. So they're even with the great Broncos defense, there still is expected points on the board here. I feel like we need to come up with like a something's got to give segment every once in a while. Whenever, where, where there are these matchups. If there's three or four things happening, you know, where where it's, you know, the number one ranked offense versus the number one ranked defense. It's the.
unstoppable force versus the immovable objects. I might have gotten that backwards. Whatever you said, I'm voting for the Broncos. In this case, I have Matt Ryan buried, and a lot of people are probably, look, I'm going to give a chance to Matt Ryan to overcome my ranking. I have Matt Ryan. I just doubt it. I have Ryan currently as a higher-end quarterback, too. So I'm not burying him. Right. I think Jason and I have him lower. I think we both have them.
Quite a bit lower? Yes. I feel like they might be tricking me, but I'm buying into this Falcons offense as a whole. It's not just Julio Jones. So the real question is, do you start Matt Ryan? If he's a high-end quarterback two, would you rather just save the roster spot? Okay, but here's your situation for everybody. This is exactly what everyone's saying, and I've seen this. Do you just sign another quarterback and take up a roster spot? Let's say...
I don't know. Let's say you can go sign Joe Flacco against Washington, and you're at home, right? So Flacco's at home against Washington. Do you waste a roster spot on Flacco to play for one week because you're afraid of Ryan? Because Ryan could be all right. I don't think there's any chance he's going to be amazing. Yeah, I would probably just play Ryan in that situation. I'd stick with him. What would you do, Jay?
