You've got to go beyond the headline in fantasy football. You've got to look at who benefits if he misses because you can sneak a start out of somebody. Taylor Gabriel would be the target there. And Anthony Miller would be a very interesting glance because they're playing a very difficult team that's likely to be ahead. Yes. And Tari Kohn will benefit as well. 100%. Muhammad Sunu, Calvin Ridley.

They did not practice Thursday, but I mean, they're the Monday night game, right? They are. And Jason is kind of. Oh, I'm a little. So my situation was I had three tight ends because of Evan Ingram and O.J. Howard's injury. I had been playing Austin Hooper. And I had to pick up Edo Smith, had to drop one, chose to drop Austin Hooper. And my opponent who did not have a tight end picked him up, is playing him. So Sunu,

Calvin Ridley get back on the field. If I had to project them in Calvin Ridley, I don't think he's going to play. And Sunu, because it's a hip, that actually worries me as well. I feel like there's a good chance in either one of these guys play. I'm thankful it's a Monday night game. Jameson Crowder is out. Correct. Paul Richardson. I don't think he's going to play. Let's go ahead and jump back into the rest of the week seven matchups. Fantasy forecast. Happens every week, but a little reminder here. We did not miss these matchups. These ones I'm about to tell you about. We're on yesterday's show. The Titans and Chargers out there in London, the Patriots, Bears, the Bills, the Colts, the Texans, Jags, and the Lions, Dolphins were on yesterday's podcast. As were the Vikings.

And the Vikings Jets game. All right, let's jump into it. Three and two Panthers, take on the three and three Eagles in Philadelphia. The Eagles are four and a half point favorites for my... Oh! Andy's almost upset of the week. I love this.

That's bad news for you, Andy. I am always, the last several weeks I have so disagreed with your almost upset. And I have been so wrong. You've been so right. We've talked about it forever. You're great at picking these lines. But I've been confused. I even talked to Brooks yesterday. So many people are all about the Eagles this week. And I keep thinking, am I missing something with the, I feel like Carolina's still got a solid team, a solid defense.

What's going on? So tell us why this is your almost upset. I just think it's going to be a really narrow margin in this game. I think it's going to be a good game and exciting game. It's a 45 and a half point over under. And I think what you're seeing a lot of is I think the narrative and rightly so that Carson Wins is looking a little bit more like himself. Last week he made plays with his legs.

Alshan Jeffrey is back. The team looked really, really solid. So I think that it's simply a home game for a team that's looking really good right now. And the Panthers haven't exactly been a kind of streamlined fluid offense with consistency yet this season. So I think it will be a challenge. I think it'll be a very close game. And I'm taking the Panthers to make it real tight. Very interesting. One thing to note, it's a little bit early.

But you'll want to check in on this on Sunday. Right now it's got 17 mile an hour wins projected. When you get up over the 15, that's when I start being just a smidge concern, a tiebreaker where I go, I prefer the running game over the passing game. When it gets into the 20s, weather-wise, degrees-wise, or it gets over the 15-mile-an-hour wins, those are the situations where it usually benefits the running game, lowers the over-under total points score. So be aware of that in this matchup.

So let's start on the Carolina side, the visiting side. Since the week one domination of Matt Ryan and Atlanta, the Eagles have given up 24.1 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. They have not been the dominant force that we expected them to be. The truth is when you look at the landscape of the NFL, not many defenses have been. We were saying this yesterday. You know, you're kind of glancing and saying, okay, who's my guaranteed defensive start that's just a stalwart?

There really isn't one. And if I had to pick one right now, it would probably be Baltimore. Absolutely. It'd be the Ravens. I mean, the two powerhouses coming into the season, which, you know, the Jaguars, the Rams, Super Ds. Philadelphia, yeah. Yeah, they've not been great. Eagles, cornerbacks, Darby and Mills, they've allowed the most receptions in the NFL. You know Christian McCaffrey's going to get his. He's seventh in the league in opportunities per game with 22 and a half. So it seems like things...

As the game goes on, eventually McCaffery makes you happy more often than not. Yeah, the Eagles have given up the fifth most receptions to running back, so that pairs beautifully with CMC. He should have a great game, but of course you're already starting him. Can you start a wide out on the Carolina side, Mike? Devin Funches has a fine matchup because he should be seeing a lot of Derby. Who? I apologize. Devin S.

scrumptious. My concern, the reason why I like the Eagles in this matchup is the D-line versus the O-line of the Panthers. I think that's the lynchpin of this matchup and the Panthers O-line is going to be overmatched. So that's why I have, why I prefer Eagles. If you got to play one, it is Devin Funches. DJ Moore, you got to keep your eye on him. It's, it's been a slow start.

It's been a low start for the first overall wide receiver taken in the draft. But we're getting there. Yeah. We're getting there. The snaps are increasing. The targets are increasing. Four receptions. Yeah, four receptions each of the last two weeks. But even still, that's not what you're going for in fantasy. But that's what I'm saying. He is just a watch. DJ Moore could turn into one of the hotter waiver wire ads for next week. So I'm...

If you got a burner and you want to ask DJ Moore and see what happens this weekend, I'm okay with that move. Is he four for 59 last week? That is correct. Is that right? Yeah, I mean, they're spreading the ball around. Obviously, Greg Olson is back. I think he's okay, right? I mean, Greg Olson is guaranteed to get targets when he's in the lineup. Last week, seven targets, four catches. So you could do worse.

And then on the other side, maybe you have your top three tight in and Zachary. He's not a debate on your start sit. Alshan Jeffrey has been a little bit. I love Alshan this week. A little bit special this year in terms of targets. Like we didn't expect that right out of the gate. I love Alshan. He should be seeing a healthy dose of James Bradbury who is up and down, the cornerback for the Carolina Panthers. He did get his butt absolutely whooped by O'Dell Beckham. Not that Al Sean is O'Dell, but I.

I like Alshan a lot in this match. Would you play Nelson Agilor? No. No, I wouldn't. Okay. No, I mean, it's been rough for Nelson. Is there anything else? Yeah, I mean, Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood. I think you could start both of those guys. I would prefer to start Corey Clement. He was the better running back last week, and that was while he was on a limited snap count.

He should be good to go for a full workload. Now, the Eagles will never be a single back system. So a full workload for him is not going to be, Wendell Smallwood out of the way. Yeah, I think he's capped. Yeah, he's capped. I agree. He's not going to finish with 30 points. He's never going to put up that Todd Gurley, Alvin Camara game. But he is the goal line guy. You know, if it's windy and they're running the ball more, I like Clement quite a bit this week. High leverage situation.
