to gloat because I've got plenty of, you know, Terrell Pryor, I love Torel Pryor, he didn't pan out. If you want, look, you can take your victory lap with Todd Gurley because I have taken my walk of shame with him weeks ago. The only thing I was going to say is that it wasn't just liking Todd Gurley. Part of, you know, the counter argument against Gurley before this season was.

28:19 ↗

Can this offense ever put him in the position to score points? Right? That was the question. Exactly. How bad was Fisher? How good is McVeigh? How much can we read into Andrew Whitworth in the offensive line? Look, the Rams, I'm going to tell you this. They're legitimate playoff contenders. Oh, for sure. Well, we say that because we're West Coast. But this is a team that hasn't been on national TV very often. The last time they were on national TV...

28:44 ↗

We had the Thursday night game between the 49ers and the Rams. That was the last primetime game. I'm almost positive that's last prime time. And that was when we all said, ha, ha, two bad teams. That was the mindset then. We get two bad teams on Thursday. Oh, my goodness, this is a fun game. They haven't gotten the exposure. I'm just throwing it out there. When Aaron Donald's maybe the best defensive player in football and Todd Gurley's maybe the best offensive player in football right now. Yeah. And Jared Goff's competent and the coaching is competent and you have no real powerhouses.

29:14 ↗

in the NFC other than Case Keenom's led, you know, the Vikings. I just think it's interesting. And so they're fighting to get to 11 and 4. Oh, please. Universe. Knock the Titans out of the playoffs. No, no, come on. I don't wish ill upon the Tennessee Titans. No, I want Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams, Case Keenham, Jared Goff. I want the Fisher quarterbacks facing off.

29:43 ↗

head-to-head mono imano. All the while Jeff Fisher is trying to get another job. I've heard he's getting excellent at fly fishing, though. Yes, yeah. He's probably mediocre. Marcus Mariotta and company. Look, DeMarco Murray going up against the Rams running defense, that's the one area they've struggled, but it doesn't seem to matter with DeMarco Murray. He's just going to give you about three a carry on a bunch of carries. I still think he's very, he's in the.

30:13 ↗

Back end RB2. Yeah. You're not excited to play them. You probably have to. The Rams on the season 30th against the running back. However, that has improved over the past six weeks to middle of the pack. Granted, the actual fantasy points difference between those two rankings is only about two points. So they're still giving up over 20 points a game to the running back position. DeMarco Murray.

30:41 ↗

is fully entrenched as the starter. Over there, Malarkey loves to Marco Murray. Do you, if you had to pick one wide receiver on each team to start, who would it be? Robert Woods, Richard Matthews. It's easy for me. Okay. I think it's not going to feel good. Ladies and gentlemen, it's going to feel real bad, I believe. Is that the opposite of good? It's going to feel bad to be playing Richard Matthews in your fantasy championship.

31:11 ↗

But I think that he is a low-level wide receiver 2, high-level wide receiver 3, which means I am playing Richard Matthews this weekend. Wow. Okay. And you're obviously playing Delaney Walker. Yep. If you need him. Yep. If he's your tight-in starter, he's been targeted 7.2 times the game since week 12. And despite the ranking of the Tennessee Titans defense, there's just no defense against the tight-end position. There's no standout.

31:40 ↗

between Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett. So you just, even if you're trying to throw the dart saying, I'm trying to pick that team where the matchup is supreme, you cannot go with the Rams tight ends. All right, let's talk about this Broncos Redskins game in D.C. The Broncos defense, they've allowed just 14 and a half points per game since week 12. That's third best in the league. That's more what we've come to expect from the Broncos defense. Number one against wide receivers in that time span. Number seven against fantasy quarterbacks.

32:08 ↗

Is this, and then if you're missing, P-Rine, is this just a big Nerf on the entire Washington offense? Yeah, it would be for me. I didn't like P-Rine even before the groin injury. You add a groin injury on top of that. So let's say P-Rine even, he plays. He guts it through, and he's got a groin injury. Right. Can you have any confidence? That he plays through that game or anything like that. Yeah, and the Broncos have, their defense has been recovering. They've been getting better. Can you, can you play P-Rine?

32:37 ↗

I don't think you can. That always comes down to options, right? You guys were far more bullish on P-Rine when I was pumping the brakes on it, but now that the groin injury is a factor. If you're looking for upside, you're not going to find it in Somaget-P-Rine this week. I think that's really the answer. I mean, I'd rather be playing a player like the other side, C.J. Anderson, who had massive volume.

33:03 ↗

and actually some success. I feel like I'd rather go C.J. Anderson than Somaji P. Rhine. Would you be in that? Yes. Oh, I was in that camp before the groin is. Ah! But groin. That hurts. You can tell. So, yeah, I think that's the... Now, if P. Rine's out... Now, technically in the depth chart, it's LaShawn Daniels ahead of Capri Bibs. But Capri Bibbs is the one that was on the field and the one that was more productive and scored a touchdown. I think Bibbs is the start there. But is he fall into that? You know, is it...

33:34 ↗

Bibbs alone or Penny alone, who would you go with? Asking for a friend. This is so selfish. If P. Ryan is out and Curwin Williams is out. I would play Elijah Penny. But Capri Bibbs is certainly interesting if you're in a PPR scoring format. We know that Washington, they're specifically Kirk Cousins. He just utilizes the past catching running backs a good bit.

34:03 ↗

I'm looking at this Vernon Davis stat. He's averaged one and a half reception since week 12. Vernon. He's no longer startable, especially not in a championship week. Oh, no. And this is a bear trap. Oh, sorry, Jay Gris. Oh, man. Disappointing. I did not. You got to know the company, right? Yeah. You got to speak the vernacular for the company you're with. Oh, your audience, man. And Jay Gris from my heart. I'm sorry. Oh, man.

34:31 ↗

That's embarrassing. Was that an actual slip of the tongue? It was. You were just using bear trap in your normal everyday vernacular. If I had fully utilized that joke, set that up, I would be a much smarter man. Yeah, and he'd be a much angry bear. But no, I'm ashamed. I'm ashamed of myself. Hey, let's talk about Blake Bortles. You start of the week and the 10 and 4 Jags taking on the 49ers, winners of three straight games.

34:58 ↗

At home with Jimmy G. Now, if you are a 49ers fan right now, I just want to, I want to, I just want to be overjoyed with you. Because having Jimmy G., and what you see from him with no weapons, it's Markey's Goodwin. Now, I don't want to take anything away from Markey's Goodwin, right? But Markey's Goodwin's success is absolutely a product of the opportunity provided to him, the injury to Pierre Garcin, the limited weapons that they have at the wide receiver position.

35:25 ↗

prompts to him for taking advantage of it. He's going to make more money in his career because of that. And he's a good player. He's on the first year of his contract. Yeah, but okay, fair enough. First year out of Buffalo, but he's paying off for them and he's put himself in a good position. All that being said, Jimmy Garoppolo looks like a real NFL quarterback. 13 yards per completion. We just talked about Phillip Rivers being at the top of that list. Gropolo is number two. Very, very small sample size, of course, for Jimmy Garoppolo.

35:54 ↗

But here are all the puzzle pieces that I'm putting together of why I'm buying in. It's not just the success. It's not just the charisma and the leadership ability. I mean, you're watching. Everyone saw the miced-up stuff with Jimmy Garoppolo. It endears you to him even more. Bill Belichick, possibly the greatest coach in the history of the NFL.

36:21 ↗

knew what he had in Jimmy Garoppolo. This is why they didn't trade him last year. They wanted to figure out a situation where they could hold on to him. Tom Brady and his invincibility of being able to play at his decrepit age for a football player. They had to make a really hard decision. And that decision led to a discount on a...

36:49 ↗

potential franchise quarterback for the 49ers. Pull this back in to dynasty implications because this week it's the Jags. You don't start Jimmy G. No. You don't start Goodwin. You probably don't want to start hide unless, I mean, you can start hide. Yeah. But you're not as enthusiastic as a normal week. But Jimmy G. long term, think about it. Arizona completely in flux. No quarterback for the future. A team that's been struggling. The Seattle Seahawks and their defense. They're crumbling and they're going to have. They need to redo everything.

37:18 ↗

Yes, and they're going to be facing some serious contract situation. They were riding that wave because they... Because Russell Wilson was cheap. Yes, Russell Wilson was cheap. And a lot of their defenders were cheap as well because they turned them into names. Exactly. So they will get poached. So San Francisco has a pathway to the top of this division. And they have a good coach. They have a good situation. I'm just curious to see if they pick up one of those big wide outs in the off season, maybe Alan Robinson ends up in San Francisco. Maybe.

37:47 ↗

with Pierre Garcin and Marquis Goodwin, and it just revamps that passing game. I think he's a very interesting guy. Yes, I'm very excited for Garoppel, and it's a good quarterback playing for Kyle Shanahan's system. I mean, look what happened to Matt Ryan with Kyle Shanahan and without Kyle Shanahan. Look, every other team that needs a quarterback should be jealous of what they got in Jimmy G. With that trade. As the Arizona Cardinals, as a fan of the Cardinals, that sucks. Yeah.

38:14 ↗

That sucks that we didn't try to second round pick for him. So we expect four net to be out there and you're going to play four net. But if you have to pick one wide out from Jacksonville this week to start, is it Westbrook? Is it Keel and Cole? Is it Alan Hearns? Do you stay in the flames or do you go with the D.D. Westbrook comeback game? I do not mind at all staying in the flames with Keel and Cole, but it would still be D.D. Westbrook for me. I'm going to take the...

38:37 ↗

Once again, it's a small sample for Diti and Keel and Cole. So I'm going to take the guy who has multiple games shown that he will get target volume. I think it was just a matchup situation that Blake Bortles found because Keel and Cole.

38:52 ↗

and Mickens. Jaden Mickens, I believe his name is. I don't know where this guy's scoring two touchdowns. I think that it returns to the norm that D.D. Westbrook becomes the focal point of the passing. Yeah, I am starting Keeling Cole this week, so I'm hoping. Yeah, and I don't. I'm hoping I can stay on fire. I don't like it. All right, the Giants take on the Cardinals in Arizona. The limited fantasy implications in this game. The Cardinals are starting Drew Stanton, and you're starting Larry Fitzgerald probably because you have to.

39:18 ↗

Outside of them. I like him. Okay, yeah. Well, the Giants defense. 30 second against tight ends. Everybody scores against them. So, I'm sorry, 20 second against wide receivers, 30 second against tight ends. But Ricky Seals Jones was splitting with Nicholas last week. You still have Jermaine Gresham working his way back. We talked about Kerwin Williams, Elijah Penny. Elijah Penny is an RB3 if Williams is out. Would that be fair? If Williams is out, I think Elijah Penny is a running back too. Wow. Okay. Last week had 10 carries career high.

39:48 ↗

but you're talking about opportunity against the bad defense at home. Looking at the charts here, it looks like Christmas because you have the, it's all green for the Giants, which means we attack because 30th against quarterback, this is the past six weeks, 30th, 28th against running back, 22nd against wide receivers, 32nd against the tight end. Meanwhile, the Cardinals defense has become a strong play shutting people down. They're in the,

40:18 ↗

top 10 as far as giving up fewest points to running back wide receiver and the tight end. I like the Arizona defense as a DST streamer. If you're still trying to make up your mind, you can't, you weren't able to get the Bears, you weren't able to get a better option. If the Cardinals are out there, I think they're a great play. So Jason's pumped the brakes last week that inflated the Giants. You think they come back to Earth as an offense. I do. Evan Ingram, 65 receiving yards per game. You still play him, though.

40:46 ↗

You still play. What about Sterling Shepard and that 11 catches last week? He, Sterling Shepard is just such a difficult player to get a gauge on. He's had the injury problems, the migraine problems. And he goes, he's really all or nothing. I mean, he has three performances over 100 yards. Last week, the incredible 16 targets, 11 for 139 to score. But the week before that,

41:13 ↗

Two receptions for 16 yards. The week before that. Three for 56. Ah, but the week before that, 11 for 142. So the Patrick Peterson experience should be focusing on Sterling Shepard is what I would imagine the Cardinals go with. So it's a really, really tough call for Sterling Shepard. I would prefer to have him as a high-end wide receiver 3 option this week. Keelan Caller Sterling Shepard.
