The Chargers side of the football. Keenan Allen, you're going to play him because he's out there. Yes. Mike Williams, consensus wide receiver 25 on the week. And then you've got Hunter Henry making his return to this offense.

Colts allowed the third most fancy points of tight ends last year. You drafted Hunter Henry to be your tight end, right? So there's not really anything to talk about? There's not. The thing to talk about is, and maybe this matchup is not the best to evaluate. We'll have to see a few. But how do Hunter Henry and Mike Williams co-exist? Because Mike Williams had a much larger role and the running backs had a much larger role in the passing game because Hunter Henry was not there. He missed the entire season.

So now that they have a premier young tight end back, how does that all shake out? You know, I get that narrative a little bit. I do. I've thought it myself, but you have to remember they also, it's not just that. They lost Antonio Gates. You forget, he was there last year. They lost Tyrell Williams. So they're, you know, yes, Mike Williams. But they got Dantrell Inman back. Exactly. So I think they can coexist.

Austin Echler, Justin Jackson, probably the biggest storyline on the team. Echler, you play 100%. And Justin Jackson is fine if you are in a pinch. Yeah, I don't really see. I think Echler's the better play. I don't see them too far apart. Really? In terms of, you know, viability of starting them. The team has been very clear that they're going to work in a perfect.

50-50 committee. So you're looking at touchdowns versus receptions. It's easier to bank on reception. So I think what this is from my perspective is it's a matter of what the team is saying, which is a 50-50 split versus what the team did last year in the games where Echler, Justin Jackson were there, and Melvin Gordon was out. We saw it much more like a, you know, a 6535 split. And so.

It's really just a question of what you believe. He was a rookie last year. That's what I was going to say. Players mature. Yeah. And so the team is saying it's 50-50 split. I think that makes a lot of sense to be a 50-50 split. So you can absolutely do that. It's just you have to also weigh that with what the team did last year in this exact situation. Also what they did in the preseason. So it's hard to go with what they're saying when they have actual actions that they have taken during the preseason. And maybe that was.

Just they're getting Echler ready. Yeah, but Justin Jackson scored in the preseason. Echler didn't do that. I think what it is is that Justin Jackson carries more risk. There's no risk. I totally agree with that. There's no risk that Austin Echler is going to be the 35% of the timeshare. Sure. There is risk there with Justin Jackson. Yeah, I feel like Justin Jackson needs to be the scorer. If Justin Jackson is not scoring, you don't get what you get with Echler, which is guaranteed targets. 49ers, Buccaneers at home.

They are favorites. It's a 50 point over under. We talked a little bit about this game yesterday, just in the context of starts of the week, because Mike has James Winston. I have Chris Godwin. We all expect Bruce Ariens to come out, stretch the field, do what he does as a head coach, an offensive mind. That's a guy you may have drafted later on because he had quite the ADP tumble with his tumultuous offseason. But I'm going to play him with full confidence. Jay, are you with me with Petters? Are you benching him? I have him in multiple leagues. In both of those leagues, they're deeper multi-flex leagues and he is in all of them. He's in the lineup. hopeful that he does, you know, have a great game. But I think it's very realistic that Marquis Goodwin can come out here and dominate two. This is a 50 point over under. This should be one of the higher scoring games of the week. You have basically the combination of offenses and defenses that, you know, set up for a lot of points to get scored. So that's not to say Goodwin and Pettus can't both have great games. But, you know, we need to bring up Marquis Goodwin's name. Yes. Because.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense is the type of defense that could very easily just get torched by Marquis Goodwin over the top. Yeah, Dante Petits should have a good game. If he doesn't have a good game in this matchup against the box with a 50 point over under, I'll be concerned about his involvement in the offense. I can agree with that. And by good game, I mean target share. I don't even care if he comes down with incredible fantasy performance. He should have a nice target share. He should be able to get open against his secondary. Look, he was your my guy that you pivoted off of. Yeah.

What are you looking for from him in his first start?

I'm looking for poise. How does he react to the Blitz? Because in preseason week two against the Raiders, it was very bad. He was very poor against the blitz. And just it's the tempo. All the media during the offseason was this Arizona Cardinals offense you're seeing, this has nothing to do with the actual real offense. They are pulling the rope of dope.

Now let's see it. Let's see it. Does that pace come out? Does that throw percentage come out? Yeah. Cliff Kingsbury was asked by the local media here about why he believes, and this was very recently why he believes that the offense will work in the NFL. And his response was because it's never been done before. And that is kind of indicative that you have not seen it in preseason. He has not, what they were doing was a vanilla not.

what they're running come game one. So I am super excited to see the pace of play, the speed at which they play. And yeah, for Kyler Murray specifically, it's all about that blitz. Can he, can he?

David Johnson, you should feel safe to play. And handicap the Cardinal wide receivers. Like if you're starting them, how are you ranking their production for the week?

I'm going to go Kirk fits and then don't really care. Okay. So Kirk overfits this week. It'll be very, very exciting to watch this game, not just for Jason and his, you know, but for our hometown team and seeing what Carla Murray is going to bring to the NFL. For someone that has spent the last couple of years just banging the drum for C.J. Anderson, we got a lot of people championships last year.

That's what I'm watching for on this team with that report that came out late.
