of the waiver wire in all of our leagues without question. Just leave the building, Jason, because the highlight was Jason Moore. You know him as the big shimmy. Jason Moore is the winner of the Zach Moss sweepstakes. Congratulations. Give me a crowd. Give me, give me them claps. Oh, let me find that. Give me them claps. I don't know how dare you. Oh, congratulations, Jason. How dare you guys out me on this very big podcast? Four bidders, but none better than Jason Moore. That feels like such a waste of. Here's what I'll say in the. That's a great start for a show. Oh, it is. In defense of Jason, very little draft capital. You ended up Echler, J.K. Dobbins.

J.K. Dobbins obviously done for the season. Oh, yeah. Echler, we don't know what the information is on his ankle. So you had to be aggressive. You had to go get someone. I did. And you got Zach Moss. And you outbid the number two by 10. Shut up. I'm so upset when I saw it. Oh, I didn't know that part. Yeah, when I looked. I mean, so I'm putting all these claims in. Extra 10% just set it on fire. The, the, uh, oh man. Zach Moss for 15 bucks. I should never. I should never. What did I do? And you know that means he's playing Zach Moss. Yes. Oh, man.

Yes, it's the greatest day. I'm going to cut them right now. I'm going to burn all 15. What did I do? I'm just, so here's what's going on. I'm in nine leagues right now. It's too many. And in the league of record, which is the most important, I'm in a terrible running back situation because as Mike said, I had very little. Tell me about it. So I've got Echler who hopefully is fine and then nobody behind him. So I had to, I just shotgun approached every potential starting running back. And I really assumed I was not going to get Zach Moss. He was just in the list.

And I was so upset that I was the winner of Zach Moss. And you're right when I saw that I grossly overpaid for the guy who sucks, who I can't stand. I hate. I think he is not good at football and will be worthless. He is now on my League of Record roster for too much money and I'm very upset. You are also the winner of Justice Hill. Yes, that one's good. So you put some running backs on this roster. Yeah, you beat me by two on that one. So that feels bad. You also were a play, you had added Pooka Nakua.

A drafted Pook. Yeah, you did. And so you didn't have to spend up on that. So we don't have a number to share with the Footland. I found it especially difficult not to spend up on players in week one, especially like making, like I thought about going all in on Josh Kelly. I thought about going all in on Justice Hill. And then I try, what I ended up doing was kind of just deciding this week.

Like I put in some bids, but I knew they weren't going to win. And just I wanted that fab for for week, two, week three. It all feels like I want it right in front of my face right now, but I don't know. Injuries are going to happen every week. So I didn't win out on that. And Justice Hill's a tough call, man. Yeah, he really is. He could be. He could be a great value. Yeah. Yes. The fact that he got goal line work. Like it wasn't just Gus Edwards at there. This is a, it's a difference Ravens offense.

I think that they both will split, but the fact that Justice Hill is the better pass catcher between him and Gus Edwards, JK, I think, had three catches in his short appearance in week one. So if that's going to happen, if you're going to get some targets and the option of goal and work, then Justice Hill could work out. Absolutely. All right, hungry for more time. We're looking at players that performed last week, and we believe we'll continue. to perform. I'll hop right in here because I got the shirt on and it's for a reason. Do we got to play the play the thing? Wait. Oh, no, that's the one with all three. Sorry, Andy. I'm sorry. That's not good. I'm talking about Michael. Andy's hungry for more. Michael Pittman Jr. I am hungry for more of him. He is a good football player. The reason that Mike and I fought over him last year was because of the talent and the opportunity of being the clear cut one for that team.

what that team was last year was a dumpster fire was an ill coached you know they got rid of frank rike early they hired jeff saturday who had no idea what he's doing and they used michael pitman in a way that was irrelevant for fantasy i mean he was clearly the one he was talented but he was just like hey pitman go walk two yards out there and then i'll throw you the ball that's what they did over and over and now in the first game with shane stuyken and Anthony Richardson, we see 11 targets. We see downfield targets. We see two red zone targets, including one inside the five. Last year, there was one inside the five target over the final nine Jeff Saturday games. So this is a utilization of a talented player in a situation where it's him and scraps that I think I am very excited for Michael Pittman. I have always believed in the talent. And if the coaching staff utilizes him in the right way,

He should be, I think he'll be good rest of the season. Like I'm bought in from just week one. And I believe last year he had a good week one. So, you know, maybe this is just what he does. Maybe he's Sammy Watkins reincarnated. But the utilization and the way that they used him is what really has me hungry for more. Okay. That makes sense. I'd love to see it happen. I was pretty excited about the draft aid value of Pittman just because. The pendulum had swung so far, but Mike, I know you had brought up the concerns about the rookie quarterback. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. The rookie quarterback, and that still remains a concern, but at least one weekend, it looked like he was, Richardson was okay. All right, I'm going with Pooka Nakua. Yes. There are, you know, I think I saw some reaction yesterday that, you know, the talk about Drake London, the talk relative to Pukkahua, it was too extreme, it was too reactionary.

It wasn't Drake London won't have any good games and Puka will only have good games. The storyline was more related to my confidence in the quarterback and the situation for Puka Nakua, 15 targets as a rookie in week one, not just 15 targets, but delivering on those targets with a 40% target per route run. He looked the part. He won't be displaced when Cooper Cup does return. If Cooper Cup does return. which he should. Please return. But people, and he was drafted like a player that was going to be their week one. He wasn't. And we don't know how long that's going to be. And it's just more weeks for Puka Nakua and Matthew Stafford to build a rapport. Tutu Atwell, Van Jefferson, they are not alphas. They are not capable of being targeted 10 to 15 times a game. I think Puka just fits the mold for what Matthew Stafford is looking for. And I want those targets. And I know it's not going to be 15 every week.

Sure. But I don't think this defense is going to, you know, best case middle of the pack. And I'm excited to see what Puka can do. So I'm certainly hungry for more. I wish he had been available in our waiver wire so that I could have spent up on him. It wasn't the case. He went for over 50 buckaroos, I believe, in the Megal Bowl. Okay. In your league, yeah. In my league. Yeah, I'd bid 45 thinking I could get him. He went for 54. and I think he's here to stay. So definitely hungry for more with Puka. Yeah, it's interesting. Did Sean McVe find his new Robert Woods? We will see. And I want to highlight Elijah Moore, who knew Cleveland Brown this year. It's in his third season. He's had a very odd career arc. He had year one where he looked like he was going to be the next big thing for the New York Jets.

Gets hurt, misses the second half. They draft Garrett Wilson, but it's, no, the confidence in Elijah Moore remains sky high. This guy was, he looked apart. He was all over the field. He wasn't just a slot wide receiver. Then year two, something strange happens behind the scenes. He gets dog housed. They basically sit him down and say, no, we don't want you on this team. Then they trade him over to the Cleveland Browns. And then in week one, which, again, if you didn't see the game, it was a rainy game. which led to really poor fantasy output for the Cincinnati Bengals and lower output for the Cleveland Browns. They were better than the Bengals, but it was still low. And in that time, seven targets turned into, which that's nice. It turned into three for 43. He had two rushes, so they were using him as a gadget player. He ended up in that matchup. It was a 24% target share. And the question is, like, how will...

How will he be utilized with Amari Cooper? Amari Cooper ended up, he got banged up in that game, left for a little bit, but he still played. He played the whole game, but the snaps were way down. I don't think we've had an update yet. Kyle, you can look for that. I don't think we've had an update on Amari Cooper. I haven't seen anything. And it's just he's got a matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers where Ayyuk and company just destroyed their secondary. And Elijah Moore is someone who I think can thrive in that type of a matchup. News and notes from around the league. Presented by USAA Insurance. All right, Deonti Johnson expected to miss up to four weeks. Actually, the report I saw was at least four weeks. Yeah. With the hamstring injury. And like Jason said yesterday, it could linger on. So it's nasty, but not nastier than Zach Moss. It's nasty. You can pick up Alan Robinson and get a spot start there, potentially, Calvin Austin. All right, Kenneth Gainwell, this one's really important. He was listed as a did not practice two straight days. And according to Eagles beat reporter Jeff McLean, Gainwell is trending towards not being ready from what he is hearing. We will talk about the Thursday night preview and the other running backs available, but certainly would be disappointing with Gainwell getting 18 opportunities in week one. Very. And a better matchup for him than New England on Thursday night. So.

You could end up, a quick reminder on that, like, if you have him and he gets marked inactive, throw him on that IR before the game starts so that you have an extra roster spot to sign somebody through the weekend. There's nothing worse than when an out player has his game start and you forgot to move him out and you just limit yourself on picking up an extra player. Always be aware of that. Evan Hull is on IR with a knee injury for the Colts. He is a rookie running back. He was going to factor into the... Oh, yeah. Podge of not Jonathan Taylor. That's right. Zach Moss time, baby. Oh, man. It is Zach Moss time this week. I know that Houston Texans. What do they say? A rolling stone gathers no moss? Yeah. But if it's not moving very much, it will. He's got tons of moss on them. So much moss. He's got so much moss. But then is he slippery? I hope so. Can we bring back the, uh, oh my gosh. Can we bring back the classic? Do we have that? No, there's, there's no drop.

For Zach Moss? Oh, oh, the tuba? Yeah, I'm looking for it. It's been buried. The joick bell tuba? I thought you were talking about this net bit of information. I'm sad I didn't find the tuba. I missed the tuba. Broom. Boombo boom. Good old joig bell. All right. We are looking at Minnesota traveling to Philadelphia.

taking on the Eagles, the Draft King Sportsbook line, Philly minus seven. The over-under is 49. The records here, Minnesota is 0 and 1, having lost to Tampa and Philadelphia. They held on. They won, but it wasn't pretty. No. But you know what? That's better than what the Bengals did. Oh, lose terribly? You know, high expectations and like you come out and you have a rusty week one, but you still win. That's nice. So we have Minnesota who got beat. Big, big underdogs here. The implied point total for Philadelphia is 28. Minnesota's is 21. Did you guys see the video of Justin Jefferson at the end of that game sitting on the bench? I did not. I imagine he was not happy. Super haps. He was really, he looked quite depressed on the bench.

So last year, Eagles won 24 to 7 in this matchup from week two last year. Hertz had 300 plus passing yards, two rushing touchdowns, a passing touchdown. So what did you see from Minnesota that in week one? And are we on our way to what you would call maybe a rubber banding back to maybe where they should have been last year with all those one score victories? Yeah, the one score victory, it certainly bit him in the butt in week one. The Vikings were, I mean, the Bengals was very disappointing, but it made sense. I mean, you're out there in the Joe Burrow hasn't really done anything in months, the rain he couldn't play. The Vikings were at home, and they looked incredibly disappointing. Madison was the full-time running back, 73% of the SNAS, 15 opportunities.

He did score a touchdown, so the fantasy output wasn't bad, but it was not great. Now, his terms of... 11 for 34. Yeah, 11 for 34 on the ground. But it was like the whole team. I mean, you had Justin Jefferson who was okay, because look, he's a true number one, and you had the really exciting Jordan Addison touchdown. Yeah. But they just, like, they didn't, they barely put up any points against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who they should have at home. scored at least two more times. Like the way that I envisioned what the Vikings offense would be. So it was extremely disappointing that output. They have some offensive linemen who are, we're trying to see if they're going to be ready to go or not. And I mean, Alexander Madison will be okayish because he'll still catch some passes. But this matchup is brutal.

The thing that I'm watching the most here is, can we cut the crap with the rookie? Let Jordan Addison play. He played on 56% of the snaps. K.J. Osborne played in front of him. And yet- 91% of the snaps for K.J. Osborne. And Jordan Addison showed you in 56% of the snaps. He is your number two wide receiver. Put him out there. You have a better chance of scoring touchdowns, which means you have a better chance of winning the game if Jordan Addison is on the field. So that's... That's my biggest question is do they cut the crap and put the best two players out there? Oh, it's not a question. This will happen. But it doesn't happen this week. I think it stairs steps up this week and the following week he'll be the full-time wide receiver two. This was expectation, right? Coming in, Jordan Addison was a my guy. I said those first few weeks, they're going to bring them along slowly. 56% of the snaps. He still had a great game.

turned it into both him and K.J. Osborne got six targets apiece, even though KJ. Osborne was on the field so much more. K.J. Osborne missed some passes he should have caught. He turned in 31 total yards where Jordan Edison was good. So I do think this game, Addison is on the field more. I'm really curious what the Eagles defense is like because I think we were all, at least I'll speak for myself. I was surprised. How much production, Mac Jones and the Patriots passing game was able to come up with against this Eagles defense? And so this will be really interesting, a good passing attack. Will they continue to put up yards against the Eagles? Yeah, I would be much more excited to try Addison out. And then obviously you're playing Jefferson and even Hawkinson, who had nine targets and to me would be a trade target with that level of volume.

A lot more excited about those guys going up against the Eagles secondary without James Bradbury this week than I would Madison, who you're probably stuck playing, but he's going to face not only Fletcher Cox, but he's going to face Jalen Carter. And if you watched him last week, them big boys. You understand why he should have been the number one pick in the draft potentially. And what a steal for the Eagles? You know, there was complaints. Lots of complaints last week about Ramandre Stevenson. Well, you know, it had a lot to do with this Eagle's interior line and they're going to be a force this year. But like you said, you're going to play Madison because, you know, running backs, they don't grow on trees and you drafted him to play him. But it just might not be one of the weeks that he's a key cog in your victory. Yeah, I agree with that. If I had to guess how this game is going to go, I think it will be a beat down.

I believe that the injuries right now that we don't know for sure who will be playing on the offensive line for the Vikings, but they have two injured starters basically that we're not sure if they're going to go. And if they don't go with that pass rush, I really think that the Vikings are going to struggle, certainly in the run game. I don't expect big games for any Vikings offensively. Obviously, those three. past catching options. I think you should still play for fantasy purposes, but just not expecting huge things. And then the running game for the Eagles, like, yeah, that's the big debate. If it's a shalacking, you know, if they go in and they sack cousins, you know, five times and have them throw two interceptions and they're up 14, 20 points in this game, the way that I could see it going, then you would expect there is a running back on the Eagles that will be very valuable for fantasy. Who is it?

So, yeah, I was really excited about this matchup for Gainwell with the opportunities. And the fact that he might miss is hugely disappointing. There was a really kind of ridiculous quote coming out of Nick Siriani regarding D'Andre Swift saying that basically sometimes there will be some games where he will be in a role to carry the load. Okay. If we don't have Gainwell, we should have. Penny, Boston Scott, and DeAndre Swift. But trying to, I mean, I would play Swift above those for sure. Yes. But Boston Scott, I don't think is playable. And Rashad Penny is a dart throw in the Zach boss category. He's the, you put him in your captain spot on your showdown lineup and hope that something wild happens. What is your confidence?

in actually starting DeAndre Swift. Last week, 29% of the snaps, three total opportunities, a disgusting drop across the middle of the field. Without Gainwell, I'm happy playing him in this game. Okay, so you do, you put him right there into an RB2 spot. I think I'd play him over Madison. I wouldn't go that far. If Gainwell wasn't there. Yeah, I wouldn't go that far. I understand it. I just think he's guaranteed to have a... significant role. That is the one of the three that I know that is going to be the case. But it's a scary proposition. I don't think that that's a guarantee in the sense that if they hop out to an early lead and they're trying to run the clock out more, I could see that being more of a Rashad Penny situational role than the D'Andre Swift back archetype. So I would stay with Alexander Madison. However, I would start, you know, like the aforementioned Zach Moss, who has a good matchup.

has good opportunity. I would start DeAndre Swift over him. I would start DeAndre Swift probably over if Gamewell's out. I think he's a good flex play. Obviously, you're not going to play him in the flex on Thursday night. You'll throw him in your RB slot. But I think he is a worthy play. Would you play him over James Connor at home against the Giants? No. James Connor got 100, actually over 100% of fantasy points from the running back position. Did you hear this, Mike? It broke our system because we have a market share system that calculates percentage, like percentage of fantasy points produced at the position. Yeah. Unfortunately, James Connor had more than 100% of the total fantasy points earned because the only other running back on the roster to score fantasy points scored negative fantasy points. Was that Ingram? It was, no, yes, it was. Oh, weird. Literally, Andy Schneider, one of our devs walks out and goes,

What do I do here? I was like, you're going to have to max that at 100%. But DeAndre Swift or Dalvin Cook at Dallas? DeAndre Swift. Okay. I don't know about that. Yeah. It's right in line with that. That's a, I might try Swift. I might try the match up. Yeah. Oh, I would go swift. So, so listen, what if, what if Kenny Gainwell is active? Are you going to play him with the, I mean, it's a possibility. If Kenny Gainwell ends up active, I mean, it's not uncharacteristic for a team to sit a guy on a short week if he's banged up and then just play him. Yeah, if he's active, I'm going to stay away from this whole game because I would imagine they're not. Including Gainwell? Yeah, including Gainwell. I would imagine that they're not going to give him the same market share and percentage with hurt ribs that they gave him week one. They'll probably have more of a committee. And in that situation, I just don't want to play with it.
