I was confused. We have a great fantasy football show for you today. Bounce back players. We picked a few guys we think are going to bounce back from disappointing seasons. Got some big news to talk about. Ezekiel Elliott on the show, not the player, but the news. Yes. And lots going on. We just got back from New York. Thank you to everybody who came out and supported the live show. It was fun. It was incredibly fun. Jason jumped off the stage. I did not blow out my ACL. I was able to succeed and plant.

I mean, I was like a gymnast at the Olympics the way I planted that stage jump. You're jumping now is 50%. That's correct. I am at a 50% rate as of right now. Based on stage height. The Chicago stage was very. I mean the last time you jumped off the stage, you fell. Yes, that's true. When we came out, I noticed that the crowd was, there wasn't much of a pathway for him to jump. He had to clear it out or else danger, danger.

Quick question of the day, guys. Who's a player that you wish could break free and claim independence from their current team? So timely. Oh, I see. This is so timely. What player do you want to raid a ship?

and dump all their tea into the harbor. You know, it's really funny. When I, when I was looking at this question, I was thinking about teams that don't throw the ball a lot, right? Right. Like, I want to get it to, you know, I want to get somebody to a better quarterback. That's kind of what I was thinking. It's like, how can I find someone like, what if you were, you know, on the Seahawks? Yeah, J. Brown on the, you know, Corey Davis. And, you know, it's like, and they just want to run the ball. Right.

But I'm like, well, they are with Russell Wilson, who's pretty good. So that's not a, you know, that's not like liberating from Russell Wilson. I'm like, okay, the lions want to run the ball. Go Hawks. Go Hawks. But then I realized, wait a minute, it is actually Russell Wilson, who should be liberated from his team because Russell Wilson should be 100% a top three fantasy quarterback.

Year in, year out. MVP candidate every year. Absolutely. If he was given the range to run a high-powered offense that's going to throw the ball a lot, I think he would succeed. He would run, I mean. Drop him in Cleveland, for example. If he was in Cleveland with Freddie Kitchens, Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry. Sure, yeah, all the weapons. But I want a terrible defense. Drop them in Tampa Bay. Let him go nuts. Oh, yeah. So you want Russell Wilson freed from the shackles.

Yeah, because of that offensive system that ran the ball over 100 million times last season. Statistically accurate. Like, I'm not liberating him for his NFL life. That would be, I would apologize to him for being like, I've traded you to Tampa Bay, go win a Super Bowl. But for fantasy football, man, would he be so much better somewhere that was more pass happy with a worst defense? All right. I'll go next. I find myself strangely sympathetic to this player.

This off season. And it's Royce Freeman running back for the Denver Broncos. I was on a radio call yesterday. And they were talking about, what players are you excited about on the Broncos? You know, who do you get excited for Lindsay or Sutton or Emmanuel Sanders or Royce Freeman or God forbid Joe Flacco? And the truth is, no, I don't. And that's the problem. Royce Freeman.

He ran against eight in the box more than almost any running back in football last season. He's in a committee. He's on an offense that we're very uncertain of. He's on an offense for a team that is going to be a defensive-led team altogether. So not a lot of opportunity. He's still my pick if you look for value in the backfield to have some effective games. But Royce is not going to have the workhorse capability that I think he is.

talented enough to sustain. He could do it. Because he can catch the ball. Yes. And yet last year he just ran against eight-man fronts 36% of the time or whatever it was. And it's not the best situation. The passing game, I mean, Flacco could be all right. I'm not going to discount it. He could be all right, but it's not. It's certainly not an open system that's going to give him running lanes. I think Royce Freeman is a guy I'd like to see freed from, you know, claim his independence from the Broncos backfield. All right, the player.

who I would like to see liberated or get that independence. I want Alan Robinson to escape the talons, the clutches of Mitchell Trabisky. I know there's still plenty of people out there who think that Mitchell everything's going to turn out okay and he's going to be a good quarterback.

I'm not particularly one of those people, dare I say, I am not one of those people. And you saw flashes of Alan Robinson. I know, Andy, you gave him the business. Yeah, if you heard the last show, I just disparaged him greatly. Yeah, so it makes sense because you call him Blade Runner, and Blade Runner is actually great. And I think that Alan Robinson is actually still a great wide receiver. You saw flashes of it last year, dominant in the playoff game. He did have a couple of performances as well in the regular season where.

you go, oh, yeah, Alan Robinson can still be that player if he's put in the right opportunity. It was really unfortunate for him that he had to go into free agency with his injury. I mean, I think if he had not torn the ACL that last year in Jacksonville, he would have had his pick of, he would have been the top free agent wide receiver that a lot of teams really wanted to acquire. If I put, if I wanted to push back a little bit about that, you know,

Most people would look at the Chicago offensive system and want a piece of that system. Sure. Want to be the number one guy in that system. I think it's possible that we've seen the best of Robinson in a one-year sample pre-injury years ago, and yeah, you get flashes. But that is the difference, right, in fantasy between a great wide receiver and an okay wide receiver. An okay wide receiver shows up some of the time. A great wide receiver shows up.

Most of the time. Right. I worry that Robinson fits into the sum of the time category at this stage of his career. That's why I despair. You know, we play, we had fun with the, you know, the hyperbolic nature of the live show in New York about Alan Robinson. I just think that most people would envy being in a Chicago system. Yeah. The problem is that Mitchell Tribusky just he.

We're talking about flashes. Yeah, Trubisky does flash, but then he will go the complete opposite way where it doesn't matter. I mean, you're talking Larry Fitzgerald in the era of John Skelton. Yeah, that's going to come up today. Oh, but that's the point. It's like, that's a Hall of Fame wide receiver who later showed that he still had back-to-back thousand yards in him, and he sucked. So I put the blame more on Mitchell not being.

fully capable yet. Follow-up question for you then. Sure. I would have considered Robinson as a candidate for one of us to pick for bounceback. When you look at his career consistency charts in the ultimate draft game, you're looking at, you know, a number of years where he finished in a reasonable position, and then all of a sudden, wow, he's in the red, right? He's outside of that top echelon. Do you believe that, you know, you want to free him from Chicago, but you're not going to get your wish?

Breaking news. He's not going to be traded. Sure. Okay. Do you believe he can be a balanced back guy this year with Chicago? Sorry, but is the, that quarterback I'm going to talk about he's still there? Mitchell Trubisky is there. In the last 30 seconds, have they moved on? No, hold on. Let me check. No. Then no. So you don't. Okay. I did consider him for this as a bounce back player. I'm not.

believing that the odds on favorite would be for him to bounce back to be a top 15 type wide receiver. But could it happen? Absolutely. Mitch Trubisky could be better this year. He could take another step. You also have to remember his shoulder injury last year that affected some of what was bad. So maybe that played into Trey Burton and Alan Robinson disappointing. Okay.
