Once again, well, I mean, that's why we're here. We want you to just kill your teammates or your leaguemates. Where to me? Not your teammates. Where to me? Now you're Batman? Yeah. I can't do Liam.
If Liam Neeson played Batman today, that would be incredible. He would be awesome. He would be the most mellow Batman we've ever had. Clooney was pretty mellow. He'd be pretty... Clooney did not care what was happening in that movie. He'd be mellow, but he'd be intense. Of course. He would have a lot of heart-to-heart conversations with you. And he would not be able to run down bad guys. Fair. Also... You don't need that anymore. Thank goodness that Bruce Wayne does not have a daughter.
Because she'd be gone. Yeah, she would be gone. He's not a very good father. No. No. His family just keeps getting taken away. Fool me once, you know? You know, they got up to thrice. They have a taken TV show. You know this. Every week? No, there's a, that's what I. Just over and over. It's like prison break. How many times do you do it? Oh, prison break. How many times did you break out of prison? I think just the ones? I think twice. Oh, okay. I think there was a total of two. There needs to be one.
that at the end of every episode, they catch him again. And at the beginning of the next one, they break up. It's like Mario. I mean, there's just, Mario's sleeping on the job. What do we do here? We talk about fantasy football. It's Thursday, March 8th. This is the fantasy footballers podcast, and any mic and Jason. Back once more. You can find us on Twitter at the FF Ballers. You can follow us over on Instagram if you want to see Jason rolled down a hill. Yeah.
That's a fact. I mean, that's just, what sells our Instagram better than that? Jason's not aerodynamic, but he is rotund, rotund dynamic. Weal. Gravity makes a fool of us all. All right, we're going to have fun today. And like our good friend, good, good friend of the show Liam Neeson was talking about. The ultimate draft kit is available.
for pre-sale get it for the cheapest price of the season where do you get that ultimate draft kit oh man that's a good domain for the ultimate draft kit all right well let's uh well we want to do a little shout out here is this oh absolutely absolutely i we need to get the the gentleman's name shout or out or phi yeah somebody finding finding the name could be difficult so you explain what has happened uh we had a foot clan member that was so kind to make a jason
Morism generator. Jason is known for his reinvention of the human language. Yes. Of grammar. The human language. Not just English. Yeah. Credit goes to Robbie Kim. Thank you, Brooks. From your hometown. So this is a simple website. You just click a button and then it creates a word that Jason is likely to say or has said. Is that how it works? Including such hits as Monop Poopful. Miss Scooperism.
Ambibufi. Ambibify. Ambibify. Do you use that in a sentence, Jason? Well, the thing is, is you're going to ambibify a great character if, you know, you win the Walter Payton Man of the Year. Oh, okay. When you win that award, I mean, it's because you do with Stanfold plenty of success. Exactly. If you don't, then you are mono-poopful. So this is correct. I like how poop is in almost every word.
Right, right. Do gubernify it. Sometimes it's not poop, it's like Amari Cooper. You can go to my Twitter at Jason FFL. I tweeted out. You should pin that. All right, I'll pin it. Yeah, that's, we need that. I liked listening to the Foot Clan come up with sentences for the words that they discovered in this generator. So, Jason, thanks for being you. Thanks for being an idiot. No, come on. You're welcome. Come on. You play an important role here.
And you, yeah. He's the wheel for our team. Yeah. You ambubified this show. If we are ever stranded somewhere and we have a giant board, we know that we have a wheel. Quick question of the day on a recent show. We answered a quick question about tier drop candidates. Okay, we're talking about tiers in terms of players at a position. Last year, what did we have probably?
With comparable numbers. Yeah, with comparable numbers. So when you're looking at drafting players in your upcoming draft, a lot of the times we say, hey, let's look at the wide receivers, let's look at the running backs. Who's left as a tier one or tier two as opposed to moving on to like a tier three guy at a different position? What player do you think could make a tier jump in 2018? And we do put our rankings in with tiers in the ultimate draft kit as well. So who's the player that could jump into a top tier?
at their position. I'll lead us off here. I think Tariq Cohen is a perfect style of player to take a tear jump because he is, I mean, we saw, everybody saw that looked at Tariq Cohen running back for the Chicago Bears rookie last season, that he was extremely talented. He had the same thing when you watch Tariq Hill where you just go, he's faster than everyone around him. On the football field, in pads, he's outrunning everybody.
But I think he was poorly utilized, and they did not have a creative offense. They did not have an offense that set people up to get the ball in space. And now you have Matt Nagy coming in. I think with the kind of college offensive coordinator coming in, I believe that they will be able to utilize Tariq Cohen's substantial skill much better. And I think he'll take a tier jump up. He'll be a very relevant.
Draftable running back. Like Chris Thompson. Exactly. Brooks, who have I made several trades for in the past week? Offers, you mean? Yeah, offers. Offers. Teree Cohen. Yeah. I've sent Brooks. Many an offer for Treek Cohen. So that's my way of saying, Jason, I agree with you. Now, I made my offers also because I'm going to ruin any opportunity I'm getting him now. You ruined that. But.
There's been some question about whether Jordan Howard is a fit for that offense at all because he has zero pass-catching ability. The drops, there are a plenty of drops. He catches the football the way that my children catch a frisbee. Alligator smash. Alligator smash. So that's all to say. If Jordan Howard.
was shipped off because there's been trade rumors. That's nonsense. There have been trade rumors. I think teams were inquiring, but Chicago said they're not trading. Well, that would make me like him more if he was gone. Sure. We're going into the season with Tariq Cohen is our only running back. No, you'd have to bring somebody else in. All right. I'm going to go with Josh Gordon. I don't know if that's cheating. I don't know if that counts because he's been great before. He's been in that tier. But I don't think he's going to be drafted as a tier one, tier two type guy.
Where do you think he'll be drafted? Maybe tier two. Maybe tier two. I see Josh Gordon easily being drafted in the fourth, fifth round. If you look at the number of draft picks that the Browns have, it is so far and away more than any other team in the NFL. They have 160-something percent of their normal amount of draft picks that a team would have on a regular year. They have a new offensive coordinator.
They have a coach that has a ton of confidence in Josh Gordon. They have an inevitable, an inevitability of improving at the quarterback position over the course of the year, probably. I wouldn't go as far as, say, inevitable. It's very possible. I think it would be because.
Even if they stuck with Kaiser, he'll get better. And if they bring in a higher drafted rookie... Well, they're bringing somebody in. Sure. Then, you know, I have to imagine that that person coming in at the one or four spot is more prepared. What if that person is A.J. McCarran. That's fine. I think A.J. McCarran, while I'm not in love with him, is better than last year's, Deshaun Kaiser. A.J. McCarran did not destroy A.J. Green in Cincinnati when he had limited opportunity with him. So...
I think Josh Gordon is that guy that could go, let's just say from tier two to tier one. Let's say that. That's fair. And I'm going with a volume situation, and I'm not trying to talk about Pert Plus, Boler. I'm talking about a guy getting the ball more than he did last year. And that's Joe Mixing, running back from the Cincinnati Bengals. He was at, I think, right around 180 carries or so. That'll be up in the 200s. Get those receptions up 40 to 50.
He will volume style his way to be a running back to. Well, and there's still the possibility that he improves efficiency. Yes, absolutely. It's a lot more likely to me that Joe Mixen would go up in efficiency than it would be Camara to sustain his efficiency. Oh, I completely agree. I'm just saying that to the point of- Offensive lines struggled immensely. That can improve. Of Joe Mixon should just...
stumble and bumble his way to being a running back where's he going to be drafted and what do you think he could be uh he can be a running back one he has the skill set to be that uh but he will be drafted i would guess starting at the back of the second round okay all right we uh we haven't done this in a while we're going to do a review asaurus rags uh caveat before jason reads this this one is actually
coming from the Foot Clan and somebody who just joined over at Jointhefoot.com. This one comes in from join the foot.com. Thanks. Jordan Coaster. Jordan. Comes in from Jordan Coaster. Jordan Coaster. My mom yells at me when I don't use one of those on the table. Yes. Yeah. Very excited to finally be part of the hashtag foot clan. I'm a vegetable farmer.
from up in Wisconsin and found your podcast early last August. Since then, I haven't missed an episode, even when I'm driving a tractor in the middle of nowhere. I love the show, the original farmer Bob. Well, thank you. Is it Bob Jordan, Custer? It's all, all the above. And I wanted to share this one because I just love what podcasts can do. I mean, you can reach anybody anywhere and they can enjoy the podcast. Yeah, I mean, I won't eat any of your vegetables, but.
You can farm them and still listen to the show. Speaking of not vegetables, a quick shout out to my man at In-N-Out Burger who handed me in my burgers. And he said, whoa, you do a podcast? And he was a part of the Foot Clan. So it was a nice moment where I received cheeseburgers. He got to shake my hand. It was great. Yeah, what a gift. News and notes from around the league.
