But it's done in the dramatic storytelling fashion. Mike is like, Mike's excited. Do I get to make synth music? Yes, you do. You've, you piqued my interest.

You had my curiosity. Yeah, exactly. All right, this one comes in from Tyler in Canada. Oh, bonjour! Bonjour! He says, love the show. I started listening to you guys last year, just won my first championship. Of course you did. Tyler. Going into a Dynasty League this year with a Superflex. Just wondering how a Superflex changes your draft strategy. Have never written a sentence using the word Superflex so often Superflex, he says. Foof.

It changes your draft strategy a lot. And I would say if it's a dynasty superflex, usually in a dynasty league, we get the question all the time, especially since we did that dynasty segment, well, what do you do with quarterbacks? You know, they've got a much longer shelf life. Do you draft them a little bit higher? And usually they do go a little bit higher, but you could still wait on quarterbacks. You can't.

A couple years ago when we did our ballers startup dynasty draft, Mike waited, got great value late with Kirk Cousins and James Winston, you could do it. But I believe in a super flex, which is basically a two-quarterback league, when you're in a dynasty and you have the shelf lives, if you're doing a startup draft, I'm going to go after a quarterback early. I want one quality. What do you define early? First three rounds?

Oh, definitely. I mean... In a super flex, I feel the same way. In a super flex, I'm not waiting to my fourth round to take a quarterback. I'm just not. And I'm willing to... Even in a dynasty, Mike? Yeah. Yeah, because I think there's still those mid-tier quarterbacks that the reason you want them early, Jason, is the reason I want them later is because there are veterans that I think still have a solid enough shelf life that I can get them late. It's very tough.

I'm definitely not taking both early. I just want one young quality. In a dynasty, would you take more total quarterbacks if you're drafting them later? I'm saying because I feel like you're not going to win that dynasty super flex league without one of those quarterbacks performing inside that top 10. And so if you're taking bets on even, you know, I understand you want to recognize players that are going to perform, but your odds of guaranteeing that top 10 performance go down the later you wait. So.

Would you take more and hope for... Yeah, I would be looking to have at least four guys. Okay. Three, you have to have three minimum, but I'm trying to sneak a fourth in there. All right, this question's fun. This is from Evan in Chicago, because we've thrown some of these questions around with Saquan Barkley. In a rookie dynasty draft, would you give up the 105, Mark Ingram, and Adam Thielen?

for the 101 to take Barclay. No way. He says he thinks Barclay could put him over the edge to get that hashtag Foot Clan title. No. What if you're not dependent on Thielen? What if your team is not dependent on Adam Thielen? Your team is better with Thielen, even if you're not dependent on Thielen. Yeah. This isn't even close to me. I would, okay, let's substitute a name. Would you do 105 Mark Ingram and Adam Thielen for Todd Gurley or Lev Bell?

I would not. I probably would not either. Well, then that makes it clear. And that, yeah, that makes it clear. But then you have to recognize right now if you're doing any kind of this trades. You know, I've made an offer for Sequin or for the 101. Sure. Right now in our dynasty league, I think maybe all three of us have. And that's pre-Nefel draft. But you do have to keep in mind there's a solid chance here. The Sequin goes to the Cleveland Browns. And yes, he is.

good enough to be a great running back wherever he goes. But he won't be, he'll be Todd Gurley two years ago when he was on a bad Rams team versus Todd Gurley this last year. You know, he's not going to be the David Johnson 20 touchdowns because the Browns aren't going to score enough. And we're not even putting a name to the 105. Right. The 105, you could get a- Eleanor Roosevelt.

You could definitely get Eleanor Roosevelt at the 105. She probably dropped at the second round, though, and then you'd be wasting your pick. You could pick her up with Fab. Let's be serious. But the 105, let's be serious. I don't know why I said. Yeah, the 105, you can get a great ass out. Yeah, yes. You're going to get a great player at 105. Yes. We heard the same thing. Oh, yes, we did. All right. Let's just close it out with this important question from Greg in Van Patten. Why is Brooks called Paul Giamati?

Oh, that's a great. So here's the real thing. Why is, why is Brooks Paul Giamatti? Why is he actually Paul Giamati? Because he was born from Paul Giamati's mother. Yeah. Yeah, of course. And he is Paul Giamati. Yeah. Yeah, there you go. Is that the answer that they wanted? No, they wanted the real answer.

The real answer is this. I'll say the real answer. Tell the real story. It's March. On one of the footcast. These are the true listeners. The demon snake. The man who shall not be named. Right. Right. Yes. Thank you. And so we may or may not have, you know, since that time bought a very high resolution close up pale picture of Giamatti and put it behind him and people. He's an award winning actor. People have sent in a variety of Paul Giamati materials. And look, it's just, it is what it is. That's what Brooks has accepted. Judge Voldemort does not ring the same.
