as it closes out and we head into week nine. Here's the trade question from Charlie in Massachusetts. Would you trade Antonio Brown for Carlos Hyde and Amari Cooper? My running backs are down to Latavius and Yeldin. Hum. Oh, man. Oh, that's tough because, you know, right off the bat, my head was shaking, no, because no, I'm not trading Antonio Brown for Carlos Hyde and Amari Cooper. You have T.J. Yeldin, though.

But, yeah, I mean, it makes sense for your team. I guess what I would do. And this is just advice for anybody out there. If you are in a position where you've got to trade your big guy, you've got to trade your Antonio Brown, you got to trade your David Johnson, you got to trade your Lev Bell or your Gronk, the few guys out there that are just, you don't trade these guys. If you have to do it and you don't shop around top down, then shame on you. Because...

If you go, okay, I'm going to have to pull the trigger on Antonio Brown because I have no running back. Then start at the top. Go to a team and say, what's the best thing I want? I want a good running back and a good wide receiver. And maybe this is where you have to land. But aim higher. Go to a team that has someone you like more than Amari Cooper and someone you like more than Carlos Hyde and just ask. Because what's, you know, if they say no, work your way down to this deal. Yeah. What great advice is that? I mean, that's exactly what you have. You have to do that with a headline player.

Question from Adam on Twitter. Is Aaron Ripkowski worth considering? My answer is no. No, no, no, no. No. Ty Montgomery will be back. I mean, the next John Coon. He's fun. Mitch. His name is awesome. Mitch Lee. If you're in a touchdown only league, maybe. I can see it. No is the answer. What do you think it does, Brian rest of the season? We've already answered that one. Love him. Yeah. Yeah. Do you keep Russell Wilson with a bad playoff schedule this season, or can you cut him? I am vehemently cutting. If you're in a redraft, I'm going to move on. Yeah, I mean, you have better options. I still think you can package trade him. He's got a name that people want to get on. Maybe. I mean, maybe not. He is droppable. His name is Limpie. Yeah, man. He was the 26th ranked quarterback before this week. Yeah, it's a different team.

It's also a team that because of that gives Mike Cardinals a slight glimmer of hope to come back in that division. Who do you like better rest of season from Warren on Twitter? Carson Palmer or Marcus Mariotta? Hmm. I'm going to go Carson Palmer. Yeah, I'll stick with Palmer as well. I was reading a stat on Marioota. He is throwing a touchdown. What was it? Every 93 yards? Yeah, it was very different than last year where he threw on every 147 yards.

A little bit disproportionate to the mean. I think right now you're seeing much like Russell Wilson in the back half the last year where just hyper-efficient on touchdowns, normally that will fade away. And you're seeing that impact, obviously, in Seattle with Russell Wilson and Doug Baldwin and how their numbers look. So I would take Carson Palmer. Here's a good question from Gary. He wants to know after another poor outing.

Now, this is crazy. Is it time to – I'm going to add to it. Is it time to move on from D'Andre Hopkins is his question, and I'm going to add Alan Robinson in the mix because I saw a ton of people tweeting, do I cut Alan Robinson? No. So I said, you know, I worry about cutting Russell Wilson because he's got that name value. I would try to package trade him. Do not in any – in any situation, possibly –

cut DeAndre Hopkins or Alan Robinson. No. Because those guys, unlike Russell Wilson, Russell Wilson, you might not be able to package trade and find someone who really still believes. But you will absolutely be able to find trade partners who want DeAndre Hopkins and Alan Robinson because of their name. And you know who it would be me too. I would be the trade partner. If you're going to sell Alan Robinson cheap, I'm still going to buy. One thing that we didn't talk about in the news is Greg Olson became the, the, uh, Greg was fired. Got fired. No, I said he became the skate.

He became the scapegoat, the offensive coordinator in Jacksonville, who, by the way, I've always thought stinks. He has. Because he was once the offensive coordinator for the Arizona State Sun Devils out here. I think he stinks. I think he's unoriginal, and I think he avoided his best player this year. So does it save Gus Bradley's job? It saves Gus Bradley for another week, I think. But if he somehow changes this offense, puts the ball in Alan Robinson's hands more often, you never know. He's got the talent. Look, you don't do.

You don't have a 1,400 yard, 14 touchdown season without talent. It could also, I'm going to throw this out there. It could also possibly be a good change for Yeldon and or Chris Ivory because you see a team that really needs to run the ball better. Absolutely. I have an offensive coordinator. I have very little faith in Brock, but if Stella can get her groove back, the Brock Osweather might be able to do that too. And you don't want to be holding the bag.

the guy that dumped Hopkins if all of a sudden in the final five games, he just catches you see that one-handed catch by Hopkins this week? Yes. And he was inches from the goal line. The, uh, the talent of DeAndre Hopkins has not evaporated one ounce. It's just the quarterback player. I will say this. If you're looking ahead to play off schedules and you go, okay, well, let's say, let's say, you know, one of these guys is going to bounce back. I'm not sure who it is, but you've got a good record and you can take that gamble.

because you think you're going to be in the playoffs. I don't believe Alan Robinson has a great playoff schedule. I remember looking to buy him low and looking ahead to his playoff schedule and thinking, I don't really love that. You know the Houston on the other hand. The internet gives you access to that information. Well, you can look that up. Houston on the other hand. If you want to know his playoff schedule, it is Minnesota, Houston, and Tennessee. So not a juicy schedule. Right. But DeAndre Hopkins has Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Colts.

the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the, we have to understand they are bad now on defense, Cincinnati Bengals. Yep. So if one of those two guys is going to get it done, I'm going to put my chips on DeAndre Hopkins because of the playoff schedule. From now until then, maybe Alan Robinson is the better player to have. All right. Have you heard about this? No. Because Tom Copland is no longer a head coach. He's like, yeah, that's fine. I don't care. I'm not going to lose the game. This has been brought up multiple times because you saw what happened with Alex Smith this past weekend, which could be a push in that direction where if a player has a, if there's a question about their health. Then you would see. From a concussion. Then you would see players targeting.

You'd get in the playoffs and you'd see someone target a helmet to helmet on someone because if you can say, hey, if there's a question, you're out of the game. I'm taking Cam Newton. I don't think that. I don't believe that at all. I think there's been a bounty system. There's a couple players. But that system's practically in place now. If that was the case, I mean, you'd have those type of things happening now because concussions are taken seriously. Yeah, and you have, look, the fines, when a defensive player goes in helmet to helmet,

on a huge hit. They get fined a lot of money. Not everyone in football is a superstar with a million-dollar contracts that can just, oh, that's pocket chains for me. Most of the players are guys where you're going to lose a big chunk of your salary if you get fined. So there could be, but I think we're going to end up there.
