So top five running backs in rushing yards the past three seasons. Gurley? Gurley's number two. McCoy would be in there as well. McCoy's number one. Bell's number three. Yeah, I was going to say I still think Bell would be there. That's the usual suspects. And then Gore's number five, but we have a new entrant. Oh. And number four.

In the past three years? Yeah, past three years, top five in rushing games. Past Zieg's missed too many games. Three thousand yards on the dot. Wow. And he plays for... The Falcons? The Falcons. Freeman. Devanta Freeman. Yes. Yeah, well done. Thank you. Devonta Freeman led fourth in the league in rushing over the past three years. If... This one's great.

Let's do this one, and then I'll circle back to some different trivia. And then we'll get into the dynasty stuff. Top five running backs in receiving yards over the past three seasons. Lev Bell, yes. Number one. He's number three. He's number three. In the past, how many? Five years? Three seasons. Past three seasons. If you look at the past five seasons, he's number one. He's number one. About number four, actually, because he missed the nearly the entirety of last year. And you like to sing his name. Oh, David Johnson. He was that dominant. David Johnson. Yeah, 1,403 rushing yards in that time span. And then the last one loves playing in the Super Bowl.

He loves it. Loves playing well in the football. Oh, James White. James White is sneaking in there. But yeah, if you break it out over the past five years, it's Lev Bell, Matt Forte, Gio Bernard, Darren Sproles, and then Theo Riddick. I think that's kind of impressive for Theo Riddick to be top five in receiving yards over a five-year span. Yeah, he's great at that role. He is. He's good at doing exactly that. They could just get a grinder in there. All right, we're going to jump into Dynasty. I'm going to give you two more quick.

Trivia questions. Excellent. Jordan Howard topped 1,000 rushing yards in both of his first two seasons. There are five running backs still in the NFL who have done that in their first two seasons. Oh, man. Who are they? AP and Matt Forte have to be in that list. Peterson for sure. Peterson is in that list. Matt Forte is not. Yeah, I don't know. teach me guys teach me how to dynasty oh all right well let's start with the let's start by explaining what a basic dynasty league is uh we've had like brooks said a lot of questions over the years and over the off season about you know what makes a good dynasty league what makes a dynasty league fun sometimes you get people who hear about dynasty leagues and they go wow that's just it's very intimidating it sounds very uh it sounds intimidating time consuming and

For some people, I think it sounds like it's not fun because the draft is maybe the number one favorite part of leagues. And you don't really deal with a draft in a normal form for a dynasty league unless you're starting it.

Yeah. So you have your normal redraft leagues that people are used to where you come together. You draft the team every year. Next year you do the same thing. Then you start inching forward and wanting to keep some of those guys. You get a keeper league where you go, okay, we can keep two guys or three guys from your team every year and maybe you give up something. Maybe you don't. The dynasty leagues are you're a general manager. You have a startup draft where everybody's drafted. You've got massive.

You know, instead of having 12 or 15 players on your team, you've got 25 or 35 players on your team, and you keep every single one usually forever until you trade them or cut them or decide what to do with your assets. And then each year you will have a draft for just rookies, usually, where, you know, the incoming, after the NFL draft happens,

get together and, you know, have three rounds or four rounds, and you draft those guys. And so you've got to really think long term. You've got to build to win now because you can't win a championship ever if you aren't somewhat in win now mode. And, uh, but you also can't ignore the fact that if all your great players are the Jordy Nelson's of the world and the Tom Brady's that around the corner, you better have, you know, some young guns waiting.

I think that a dynasty league and redraft leagues, they compliment each other extremely well because those who are in dynasty, you know, when it's exciting right now. I mean, the rookie fever is already starting to hit. The underwear Olympics are just going to spread the flames as we watch the combine. Okay.

Oh, that's what I've never heard it called that? No. Oh, yes. No, I wasn't picturing that. Well, I mean, you're watching young, young fellows parade around in their underpants. But you, you, are you sure you've watched the combine? I don't think they're wearing. Have you been on a different channel, Mike? May I would. It's on, it's up in the 700s, right? Right, right. So.

You say this. It's on at like midnight, right? It's always on. It airs live at midnight. Back at my parents' house, it just came in all blurry. It's on Cinemax. I couldn't get the reception right. Yeah, well. So while you're watching it, while you're watching, I've just got myself up to my parents. Cost 1999 a month to see the combine. So you're learning about these rookies. You're getting excited for them.

So people who are in Dynasty, they knew that Cream Hunt had a great chance to be amazing. They knew who Alvin Camaro was. I mean, yes, everyone in redraft eventually knows who Leonard Fournett is, Christian McCaffrey, because they're drafted in the first round. But you get these later running backs who you learn about them in Dynasty. Do you learn who's going to be a good player? They've moved into a great opportunity. So I think that just helps overall.

with your redraft when you're looking at which rookies do you want to take the gamble on? Yeah, certainly. It's a fun. I'm going to pull us back and we'll walk more into strategy, but I want to make sure we're hitting kind of some of the FAQ type of questions here. Things like this one, is there an optimal time to start a dynasty league? You do it after the Super Bowl or before or after the NFL draft or right now. What do you do?

Yeah, I mean, as far as starting, you get together with your friends at any point in time and decide you're going to do it. So right now... But when is your optimal time? Yeah, when's the optimal time to do it? Not how to get together with your friends. No, I'm saying, like, right now is an optimal time to start gathering the people.
