What, a half point PPR? Yeah, I don't think you can trust him, but it's not just the quarterback situation. It's his health as well. He had the calf problem. So I worry about the health of the bills. The entire bubble of bills are not having a good practice session. I think Fred Jackson left something behind in the locker room. What was that? Poison. One day after interviewing him, Fred Jackson is a good friend of the show.

135 passagesI know. That's what we could say. That's what it's called a joke. Yeah. It's not, it's not real. All right. The Denver Broncos face again, I can't transition from locker room poison very easily. Well, we like, we like to say, Broncos running game. Speaking of the Broncos offense in general. Yeah. Dude, laughing hurts a lot right now because. What is wrong with you? Because I'm back. The flag football season started. Oh.
And breaking news, I was not in very good shape to begin the season. So I feel like I've been in some kind of like car wreck. It's that second day after and my whole body is just hurting. So laughter hurts. But laughter is not what really comes to mind when I think of C.J. Anderson right now and the running game in Denver. In fact, the offense right now, are we still in the place where we just assume they will figure it out?
Here's some interesting research. I was breaking down defenses versus quarterbacks to see who's giving up, who's actually giving up top 12 performances. And here's an interesting note we found with Peyton Manning. Oakland, in five weeks of play, four of them, Oakland has given up a quarterback one. There was one week where they didn't. You know who they were playing? Peyton Manning.
Peyton Manning, the Hall of Fame quarterback versus an Oakland defense who's given up a quarterback won every single week. Wow. Could not score quarterback one points. That is crazy. Yeah, I saw another stat talking about he had with the Broncos passing to the wide receiver coming into this year. It was like 80 touchdowns and very few interceptions. And then this year right now, it's like.
five interceptions and two touchdowns or something crazy. Yeah, part of last week has to do with the ageless wonder. Charles Woodson's amazing. Yes. But let's talk about this. The defense is carrying the Broncos. They don't want to make mistakes. They're the most dominant defense I've seen in a while in terms of the start of a season. In fact, if you own them right now, they're scoring a massive points. They're winning you weeks. Yeah, absolutely. And this is what I'll say from Manning. If you haven't already dropped him, which I'd,
I don't blame you at all if you haven't dropped him. But Cleveland is another plus matchup. Three of the weeks, they've given up a top 12 quarterback, including two top six performances. If Peyton Manning cannot get it done against the Cleveland Browns, you need to move on because you're never going to feel comfortable. Marcus Marietta or Peyton Manning this week. Peyton Manning.
I am not jumping off the Peyton ship. I do think he's going to get it together. He's had good weeks this year, and I expect this one to be another one. Oh, dear goodness. The difference in where I have Peyton Manning this week and where Jason has him is Stark. Like Robert Stark? Well, let's put it this way. Jason has him at number three. What? Mike has him at 11. Okay.
I got him at 20. Yeah, take that, Peyton Manning. All right, so that's a quarterback one water bet. No, it isn't. It is not a quarterback one water bet. How about a top six? How about a top six? He's got him at 20. I have Marioita at 11. I was saying for me. So I could do a Marioita Peyton. Mariota Peyton? Oh, man. Waterbed. The bets are flying. I'm writing it down.
All right, so let's go ahead and what other players do you want to discuss from this game? Well, you've got the wide receivers. Obviously, they are going to go as Peyton goes. D.T. and Emmanuel Sanders, which I believe, obviously, that both of them are going to be fine. Owen Daniels is a worthless piece of junk, so please do not have him on your roster. What do you really think?
What do you really think, Guy, who had him as start of the week? Oh, my goodness. I think I watched every snap of that game with an eye on Owen Daniels against one of the best... I actually, I'm not exaggerating or being hyperbolic when I say that I think one of the biggest problems with Peyton Manning this last week, because I went back and I watched the film, was Owen Daniels. They were trying play after play to exploit the tight-end defense.
But Owen Daniel stinks, man. He couldn't do anything. He ran wrong routes. He couldn't get separation. It was terrible. I think Daniels got five targets, too. So he wasn't like, you're right. They tried to get him involved. Five targets for a tight end. Now, you remember the last time someone said somebody stinks on this show. Yeah, Mike. So pick up Owen Daniels.
Oh, wait. You can't apologize to Devante Freeman every day, can you? All right, let's go ahead and shift gears. Let's go bears facing the lions. Can the lions get off the Schneide here? Is this the breakout performance from Joyke Bell we're all waiting for? Hey, I will say I had a waiver claim on Joyc Bell. I did too. But I got my other guys. Did somebody not sign him then? Nobody signed him. So...
Speaking of, because generally you think Chicago, that's a good defense to target with your quarterbacks. Chicago has given up one quarterback one this year. Yeah, because they don't give up the yards. They're not giving up the yards. And they've won two straight games, third against the pass. Alshan Jeffrey, Mike and I both, did you?
Give him a ranking too, Jason. Did you stat him this week? I did. I believe I've got him actually very high. Well, Mike and I have him in the top 12 if he plays. Yes, if he plays. We have him at 9 and 11. I'm curious where Jason has him. I'm still pessimistic that he plays, but if he does play, I've got him at 5. He's pessimistic, but he has him at 5. Well, I'm saying if he plays, I think he's going to be great in this matchup. Marcus Wilson had a great.
great week last week. And so there's no reason to believe that if Jeffrey finally comes back, it seems like they're easing him back. So hopefully he's full bore. You've waited a long time for him. In one of my leagues, I was waiting on him and Devante Adams and Aryan Foster, and it cost me waiting that long. So it's tough to wait for a guy and not get sour on him. But right now, if you can buy low on Jeffrey, do you do it? Yes. Oh, give me Jeffrey. I don't, look, you might be without him for another two weeks. If your team, let's say you're four and one.
team or even a three and two team. If you can get Jeffrey for the long haul, there's still a lot of season left if your team is in a good position and you can get Jeffrey. Jeffrey is a wide receiver one. He has been a target monster. Jay Cutler loves him and his ability is there for him to shine and get major fantasy production. Alshan Jeffrey or Des Bryant rest of season? Alshan Jeffrey. I just don't believe any of this Des Bryant coming back soon so I'd go Jeffrey. Okay.
I was curious. It seemed like a good question for by lows right now. Yeah. And even on a per game, just on an average, not knowing when Des is going to be back, I would take Alshan. But Alshan should. And Des has a multi, let's say Des comes back week seven. He's got multi weeks of Matt Castle throwing him the ball. Yeah, that's trouble. Good luck. All right. The Texans are facing the Jaguars in a game that is basically a pick-um. This game is in Jacksonville. Is that right?
Yeah, I think so. I'm assuming, based on what I have written down here, but I just want to be sure if someone wants to check on that for me. Yeah. So Brian Hoyer, Andy, or not Andy Dalton, Brian Hoyer and is he going to perform?
I hope so. I've got him as my stream of the week. Brian Hoyer has been putting up a lot of yards, a lot of touchdowns, and he hasn't even been starting. So this is a great matchup against the Texans. I don't see why Brian Hoyer wouldn't perform this week. All right, and Bortles, do you think he's playing? Yeah, I think he's going to, he's been practicing in full, and Bortles has been great for fantasy production. The Texans D hasn't really shown up. Nope.
No, they have not. I don't mind Bortles. I saw him signed in a couple of my leagues for streaming plays this week. Not the end of the world. Aryan Foster, same workload this week. If not more. People probably don't know this, but Alfred Blue hasn't been practicing. I think Blue is probably going to miss this week. You're going to have the Grimes-Hulk backup situation for Foster, aka start Aryan Foster and smile. T.J. Eldon has been banged up, but he should play this week. DeAndre Hopkins is my number one wide receiver. Ooh. Again.
He's mine as well. And he's also Mike's. Cross the board. Look, he gets 30 targets a game. And not just from Mallet. Hoyer loves throwing the ball to Hopkins. You saw as soon as Hoyer came in the ball or a game in the game last week.
That's when everything was going to a wide open Hopkins. So this game has, Vegas has a spread of 43 is the over under on points. And I'm going to take the way over because I expect that this, I think that these two teams.
are going to be able to put up points. You know, there was, I believe it was a low line last week as well with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Bucks. And the Bucks. And you saw what happened there. They just crushed it. And I think Foster's going to have a field day here. I think Hoyer's going to have a good day. I think there's going to be a lot of fantasy relevance here. And I'm really liking Alan Robinson's matchup this week as well. So, yeah. Alan Robinson's currently a top 12 wide receiver on the season. A wide receiver won. That's not bad.
Yeah, so let's do some, let's pull up our ranks and let's do some start sit with Alan Robinson because I got, I have a dilemma where in one of my leagues I have the greatness that is Julio Jones who may or may not be injured tonight. My other option is going with Alan Robinson. I go Julio. Never in a million years would I say Julio tonight. Okay. But people are asking that question, so it's good that you brought it up. Because I think it's a fair question.
Of, I'm leaning. You don't think it's fair? No. I don't. I can see the, I can see the. Why would you give me a reason to say, Julio? The reason. Two weeks of him playing while injured and not putting up good points. He put up, he was okay last week. He was okay. Alan Robinson's been great. He also fell on a- And two weeks ago, it wasn't an injury concern. The team was blowing them out. He played 30 snaps. You know, so did their starters. Yeah, that's true. But last week.
I mean, he fell on a fumbled Devont de Freeman ball for the touchdown. Take that away. He also played every snap except for like seven snaps in the whole game. Yeah, I'm fine with Julio. The only reason you would consider this is if you've got someone else great. If news broke that Julio really is going to be, you know, the only time I've ever seen the number one guy really disappoint you when you made the decision to stick with him was last year with Calvin on those distraction games. I don't think they're going to risk Julio's health.
to put him out there and do nothing with him. That would, and, you know, to each their own, but I'm just, I don't have it to sit him. Yeah, I agree. All right. Alan Robinson or, have we gone over Macklin yet? No, we have not. But let's just say Alan Robinson or Maclin. You're looking at that decision. Alan Robinson, for sure for me. I would play Jeremy Maclin. Okay. Alan Robinson or, oh, let's go. Let's go with just the Allens, the Allen Bros. Hearns or Robinson?
Robinson without a shadow of a doubt. Hearns is struggling with injury right now, not practicing. I'm not sure if he's practicing at all or just limited right now, but you add that in and I don't like it. Yeah, I would go Hurons over. Okay. Or I mean, Robinson over hernes. Okay. But he did sit out. Yeah, Hearns sit out on Wednesday. So we need to get into the Chiefs in the Vikings game. The Vikings coming off the bye week. Adrian Peterson back on your fantasy rosters. The game.
Vegas has it at almost 45 points. Who do you like to confidently start from this game other than Adrian Peterson? What's your take on the... What's your actual take on the backfield situation? A lot of money was spent on Char Grilled West. Charbroiled. Yeah. That guy's name is... Charcandric. His name is amazing.
