Fantasy Football - AFC East Breakdown + Meow Men - Podcast for 7/11

When Brock was playing, he was great. Yeah. He has a very limited sample there. But the Jets believe in him. And I don't know if that's a good sign. Every single year, you're like, oh, well, he's playing with the best quarterback that he's been able to play with. For Garrett? Yeah. Guys like this, that often comes up. But Geno is more capable for fantasy production than Justin Fields was. Yeah, because he's going to throw him more. Yes. That's what I mean. And Garrett Wilson, to start last year, it's lost to all of time. Garrett Wilson was awesome for fantasy football.

There was tons of tons of garbage. Do you guys realize something special about this team? I realize so many special things. The New York Jets or the Tennessee Titans are starting the year 1-0. No. Nice. Because they play each other? They are facing each other in week one. So the Titans or the Jets. Where is it? Tennessee? It's in Tennessee. So the Jets are underdogs against Tennessee. Then they go play Green Bay at home. Then Detroit. Then Chicago. Then Cleveland. Then New England. Oh! Mercy! So any change? They could be 2-4. How do you think Geno's? They could be 0-6.

How many? I want to put this down on the board somewhere. Six weeks into the year, I want the interception total with that gauntlet of a schedule for Geno Smith. Okay. And let's inform this a little bit because we didn't talk about him too much. Geno Smith, the newly minted quarterback of the New York Jets last year. I got my number. And the year with, just for, what did I say, the first six weeks? Mm-hmm. His first six weeks last year, if you put them out over the year, he would have been on pace for 28 picks and 51 sacks taken.

Nice. Okay. So four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten interceptions in his first six last year. Give me the number. I'm going to say eight through his first six. Yeah, I'll go under ten. I'll say six. Okay. Give me seven. Give me seven picks. For Geno Smith. There you go. There's your Jets. Is this true? What do you got? I'm trying to look up the Jets' total passing yards as an offense last year, and I'm seeing 2,300. That can't be right. Well, Jason, do you remember who led the New York Jets in receiving yards? No. Garrett Wilson. Oh, but he didn't play the whole year.

He played seven games. Oh, my gosh. 395 yards. Justley Fields, Tyrod Taylor, Brady Cook. Did he throw for 2,385 yards? 2,385. What? Yeah, Geno's an upgrade. Yeah. He is. Geno can beat that. He's an upgrade. That doesn't mean he's good. No, exactly. Geno's not good. Low 3,000s. I mean, Geno was on pace for 3,500 last year. There you go. Threw for 4,300 the year prior. If he gets 3,000. Things are looking up, guys. I mean, 2,300 for an NFL franchise. They get 17 games. What? That's insane. Garrett Wilson. This will be fun. A way to close the show. You ready?

Quarterbacks Garrett Wilson has caught a touchdown from him. You ready for this? This is exactly what we're talking about. Tyrod Taylor. One touchdown. Pro bowler. Tim Boyle. Mike White. Zach Wilson. He was awesome with Mike White, actually. By the way, this is. Top three in the NFL draft pick. Yeah. Zach Wilson threw two to him. Joe Flacco. Aaron Rodgers threw six. Yeah. He played with Strebler. He played with Trevor Simeon. He played with Brady Cook. Is he cursed? What have they done? What have they done to my boy? Just giving him a, you know, a lot to handle. All right.

Divisional predictions. I'm going. I like this one. I know my. I'm going Buffalo, New England. The Jets and Miami. That is exactly what mine is as well. I will go Buffalo, New England. Miami. Jets. Okay. There you go. We conquered the incredible AFC East and all those four juggernauts. Just New York. Get serious. Like have a heart to heart with each other. They belong. Their break from playoff appearances is seven years to the next closest team. I know there's management. I know there's people in suits. And these people in suits sit at a big table, probably with real fancy glass holding them

in this room. Have a serious conversation. Get real. The name. The Jets. There's not like jet exhaust pumped into those rooms that is throwing them off or anything. Is there? There's something going on. They belong in that. Stop cashing checks and win some games. They belong in the special club with us, the Cardinals and the Browns. And right. I mean, working their way really hard to get into that group is the Falcons. Let me say that. Falcons are the second longest drought from a playoff. Yeah, the difference is the Falcons usually get close to the playoffs most years. They're like, they're never, you know, they're winning seven games like all the time.

The Jets, when they're, when they're bad, they're often, I mean, they're. Winless type of season. Yeah. They're just putrid. If you had to bet your house on Aaron Glenn being the starting. Oh, no. I would. Oh, I would double up whatever. Whatever. I mean, Aaron Glenn being the coach in 2027 is an impossibility. It's impossible that he. Even with all those numbers, Gino puts up for him. I. If if Aaron Glenn is the coach in week 18, I will be blown away. That one I can see because maybe they just want to keep losing. I don't know. Yeah, they're. I think they're with the Cardinals.

They're going to be doing what they can. I'm saying that with you, not the players, not the coach. But the the the up top, they're going to be trying to as a Cardinals fan. I just need the Jets and the Dolphins to go one on one against each other. It's very important. We have our goals. Very important. AFC West on our next episode. Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs and Raiders.
