The Bears defeated the Seahawks. 24 to 17. Everything I said, if you listened to yesterday's show and you heard me go off on the Arizona Cardinals, I want you to apply everything I said about Mike McCoy and the offensive play calling, and I want you to just take that, and I want you to print it out. Copy piece. And I want you to replace Mike McCoy with Brian Schotenheimer. Welcome to a living nightmare, Russell Wilson. This is what you're facing. You don't have weapons right now, enough of them.

14:31 ↗

You don't have an original play caller that gets you outside the pocket. And unfortunately, last night you also had to face Khalil Mack. And it was a rough night for Russell Wilson. He salvaged your fantasy night with the garbage time. But, I mean, what do we say from the Seattle side? You had Rashad Penny 10 for 30, Chris Carson 6 for 24. Second consecutive year that the backfield in Seattle is a complete and utter fantasy.

14:59 ↗

Trash. Yes, and I will agree with that. But the question is, Rashad Penny, inefficient. Get it. Three yards a carry. But he took over in that second half. Chris Carson, once again, was the more productive running back, but they only gave him six carries. And he took over when it was still a one possession game. That's my, that's, I think the big fantasy question for this game is, did they, did they see?

15:28 ↗

how terrible the offensive line was, and then decide, well, we didn't spend that pick on a lineman, so probably we should get our first overall pick in the game and see what he can do. It's irrelevant right now. Yeah, what can you even take out of it? CJ Pro size caught three passes. Penny caught zero passes. Mike Davis got in the game. It's just a mess. Like if I had to start one next week, I'd start Penny. I agree with that. I would start Penny over Carson. And then I would weep in a closet. Yes.

15:58 ↗

But can Penny get up to the, you know, 18 carries? Look, I don't want to take anything away from the Bears. Okay, because the Bears' defense looked great. Their defensive line was fantastic. And I think that there are brighter days ahead for Seattle. With Pete Carroll, with Russell Wilson, they're going to figure things out. And I think you'll have more fantasy production. Did you say that you think Pete Carroll's going to figure things out? Yes. Pete Carroll is planning his...

16:25 ↗

retirement. I don't think I, I mean, I'm genuinely asking, like, I don't think that there's anything to figure out there. They, he was, he's been sacked 12 times through two games. I think a big part of worst of that performance was the combination of Khalil Mack and Doug Baldwin. Not having your number one target and having someone that is in the backfield every single play.

16:49 ↗

I just don't think that's going to be an every week occurrence. Well, what if Ball would miss three more weeks? Yeah, it's going to hurt. I think you've got to adjust. Then you're trying to survive with Russell Wilson. I actually wanted to ask you this question because one of the things that happened in our league of record was you had so many picks, right? And you had the opportunity to lock your team up early, which meant that you were pretty much the second guy to take a quarterback in our league.

17:15 ↗

Right. And it wasn't because it wasn't like you implemented some strategy of like, I'm going to get an early round quarterback. It was because you had so many picks that you had to. Yeah, I had three guys on my bench and then I'm grabbing Russell Wilson as a second quarterback off the board. But your question, I'm sure, is at what point do you pivot? Are you willing to? Yeah, well, how do you feel about Russell Wilson as an every week start? Because obviously you were, you know, thus far, you draft him to start him.

17:41 ↗

You didn't have the flexibility probably mentally to sign a Pat Mahomes last week or to go out and stream a guy. How do you feel about that situation right now? And, you know, I temper expectations, but I'm okay with Russell Wilson. I mean, next week, the Dallas Cowboys.

18:00 ↗

and the Arizona Cardinals after that is his upcoming schedule. You're going to play him in both of those. Three to nothing. That game's going to be great. You're going to play him in both of those matchups. I think you're okay. And even if it takes garbage time, you know, he wasn't the best because the best this week meant you had five touchdowns. But he wasn't putrid for fantasy the way that he was for the NFL for the actual game while you watched it.

18:27 ↗

All right, Mitch Trubisky, an up and down game. If I had to rate it, I'd say probably more down than up. He stinks. 25 for 34, but his yards per attempt is the second worst in the league behind Sam Bradford. It's really low. They're containing his badness with the yard per attempt. And then I almost said Joanne Howard. What? Houston Rockets. Was he on the Rockets?

18:53 ↗

Wasn't he on like every team? I think of him as a wizard, a Washington wizard. This has to be vetted now. I mean, Joanne Howard. Jordan Howard. Yes, Jordan Howard's where I was going. But if you want to Photoshop Juan Howard's face onto Jordan Howard. Yeah, he definitely put on the Rockets. Yeah. Yeah, that's how I remember him. Let's move on. I think he's still on the Rockets, actually. He, right, 30 years into it.

19:17 ↗

Look, I was impressed with Alan Robinson's, you know, the target share and the catches. Yes, it was not a lot. I mean, 10 receptions for 8.3 per catch. You can't like that about it, but he was the go-to guy. And then Trey Burton got in the end zone. Trey Boo-boo. There he is. We need more targets for Trey Burton. The last couple of games for Chicago have been the same game script. They've gotten out to a lead, then they've tried to protect that lead.

19:45 ↗

So I don't want to say that, like, I'm curious what will happen when they're down. I'm curious what will happen to the yards per attempt and to, you know, those aspects of the offense. There was one play that was probably the most worrisome for me. I'm obviously paying close attention to Trey Burton, and it was this designed call for Burton. It was a play action.

20:09 ↗

Burton was lined up, you know, tight in the line, and he goes just straight out, just flying a nine. And he was open. Play action. And Mitch Mitchell Trubisky was afraid to throw that ball. And I mean, you're talking about a 40-yard designed play perfection.

20:29 ↗

could have been a touchdown, and he didn't throw it, and he ran around and did nothing. And I worry about Trey Burton, not because of him, not because of scheme. I saw some people saying, why aren't they using him like Kelsey? If you just keep your eyes on Burton, they are. They're running him all over the place. Mitchell Trubisky is, I just don't think he's a good enough quarter. That was my worry in making him my guy, and I would be at least, you know, testing the waters of, look, he had a touchdown.

20:58 ↗

Four receptions is going to be one of the higher tight ends this week, shockingly. I would be seeing if people want to buy in and if I can upgrade that position. From a confidence level in the quarterback, which makes sense. I mean, the decision making for Mitch Trubisky has been a problem. Yes. Because sometimes he's, you know, this yards per attempt is super low, but then he's, you know, he's chucking it. He's chucking it randomly. You know, two interceptions.

21:24 ↗

Should have had a third down on the goal line on that ridiculous. He did his scramble and then decided that he thought he had Josh Allen's arm. I'm calling him Chuckles now. That's his nickname. Chuckles. What? Because he's just chucking it. Get it together, Mitch. All right. Chuckles. Chuckles. Yes. Chuckles, the clown. Yeah, that's where we're at. Trey Kahn exited with an ankle injury in that game. Matt Nagy said it's not a concern. We'll see. Chris Carson, six.

21:54 ↗

carries didn't get any second half touches Pete Carroll said he was gas from playing special teams I don't buy it that seems like a doghouse situation to me I doubt he was gas from playing special teams let's move on from this game I don't think we need to talk about this game all right let's get into the news news and notes from around the league

22:22 ↗

We'll blitz the news and then we'll get into the waiver wire. Larry Fitzgerald expected to play in week three. Michelle McCoy dealing with cracked ribs. Another update to the ribs. Questionable for week three. Are you interested in Chris Ivory? Not against Minnesota. No, no. And I'm not even sure it would be Chris Ivory. It might be Marcus Murphy. I would guess it would be him, but I'm not playing any of them against Minnesota. I hadn't heard this. Jay Gruden said Rob Kelly's going to miss at least the month due to surgery on his toe. Yeah.

22:51 ↗

So it's going to be one-yard Chris Thompson, 13 receptions, one-yard rushing, and Adrian Peterson. Antonio Brown didn't report for the meetings. We'll see what happens. I doubt that's a big story. John Harbaugh has confirmed that Kenneth Dixon is eligible to return. Do you care? I care once he returns. I don't care. Now I'm not going to ship off Alex Collins because Dixon might come back in week 11. Give me your concern.

23:20 ↗

level for Devonta Freeman. Dan Quinn said the Falcons are not sure about when he's going to return and what the timeline is. I don't want to give my concern level because I have him and I'm trying to trade him. And people in our league generally listen to the show. Multiple games. But my concern level is high. Three weeks, two weeks. What do you? I, I think he misses at least three weeks, possibly four. My bigger worry is that he comes back and it.

23:49 ↗

has a problem again and, you know, will require surgery or something like that. Are you going out trying to scoop up Kevin Coleman? Oh, I did. I tried and tried. I still think Kevin Coleman doesn't. See, I don't know. Some leagues, you're right, 100%, but other leagues, it's just he still has the feeling of a rental for people. You know, uh, uh, uh, Geo Bernard asked rental. So it's like, if you can go buy him, like would you, let me ask you this, Mike. Would you trade, um, Derek Henry?

24:17 ↗

to get Tevin Coleman right now. If you're the Devons Freeman owner. No, no, not if you're Devons. I'm not talking about that. Regardless. I'm talking about anybody because of the concern level. I have Derek Henry on my team. And if I could trade him for Tevin Coleman right now, I would do it. Would you trade Deon Lewis for Tevin Coleman? Yeah. Okay, would you trade Marchion Lynch for Kevin Coleman? No. And this is, I think, I think Freeman will be back, but.

24:44 ↗

You're going to get three really strong games. Plus a chance. Plus the chance. And you have a top 10 running back. And the thing about Coleman that we've liked for fantasy is that when Freeman gets back and is the starter, Coleman's not taking over the starting role if Freeman is healthy. You can still play Coleman. You can still get value. You can still get 10, 12 points a week out of Coleman as the backup. I completely agree. Dan Bailey was signed by the Vikings.

25:11 ↗

I would pick them up. Oh, 100%. We don't talk kickers very much on this show, but the Vikings are a high-powered offense. Dan Bailey is a great kicker. There are, there's what, three or four, maybe five kickers out there that if I've got, I'm not dropping for Dan Bailey. But if I don't have a Justin Tucker, Guskowski, or, you know, I'm picking up Dan Bailey. All right. Hey, before we move into the waiver wire, I want to talk to you about P90.
