This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Every football fan is different. Some won't wash their lucky mustard-stained jersey until the season's over. Some insist they can't sit down on third downs and some pick their favorite team because, I don't know, just like football fandom, nobody's life is exactly the same. And that's why State Farm gets to know you, not as a policy number, but as an actual person.

Welcome in Monday, November 16th. Back in action. Welcome back into the show. Thank you, Jason. I'm feeling good. Feeling great. I think everyone's feeling great. Well, not everyone. Look. 48. 48 states.
Feeling great right now. If, and I've seen, I've seen the Twitter buzz. If you're a Texans fan, I'm sorry for the introduction. If you're a Bill's fan, I'm sorry for what's to come. But that was exciting. That was fun. That was good for football. And it was good for us as Cardinal fans. See, the thing is. Yeah. What's the thing, Mike? Well, for the Bill's fans, I'm sure that the tweets were sitting in drafts. They were ready to send.
With that Stefan Diggs touchdown where... Yeah, they were in drafts. My heart had been ripped out and thrown onto the ground, and I sat there and just waiting. Did you hear the announcer? What the announcer said when that play happened? The announcer for the radio or the game? I believe it was the television call. I don't think I heard it. When Stefan Diggs caught the touchdown pass, the announcer said, Stefan Diggs...
is the best wide receiver in football this year. And then someone. Oh, what an idiot. Oh, yeah. And I don't know if someone relayed that. Oh, yeah. They called right down the sideline. They said, eh, ha. Do you hear what that guy just said? They said he's the best. All right. All right. It was, it was wonderful. It was quite the moment.
You know, Kyler continues to set the world on fire for fantasy. And we have a lot of studs, a lot of duds to talk about on the show today. I glanced at our League of Record schedules. Mm-hmm. And the playoffs are on the way, man. They are. It's close. It's close. Three more weeks and we'll be there. So hopefully we can help you get over the hump, get into the playoffs, take home that hashtag book clan title.
And let's react. Let's react in a most sophisticated fashion. Yes, yes. A little Monday punday for you. We've got Hail Murray. As the play has been dubbed, the Hail Murray. Yes, spectacular. DeAndre Hop King. I'm going in here with Hopimus Prime. Oh, that one's great. Yes. I also like DeAndre Mosskins. Yeah, DeAndre Hop wins. Now let's turn the page here. We've got...
Fluke Johnson. Puk Johnson. Duky Johnson. Oh, no. We hit all the bodily fluids. Jason, I think this next one's for you. Wee Higgins. Those are my favorite. D.K. Mechaff. Oh, Curtis Shamwell. Poo-Lock. Yeah. Yeah, Poo-Lock. You're a turd. Austin Pooper? Oh, Cole.
Beast leave. Oh, he was great. He was unbelievable. And dude, where's my car? Oh, no. Oh, dude, where's my car? Cinematic masterpiece. Classic film. I legitimately love that movie. It's really funny. I can't remember the name. Who's the actor? Ashton Coocher? Oh, he was in that, right? And the guy. Stifler. That's what I was. Whatever. It's the Stifler. Nobody knows. Scott?
Sean Williams Scott, something like that. I like him. I think he's good. He's a funny guy. Yeah, well, that was his shining achievement. If you would like to follow us on social media, you can do so, Twitter at the FF Ballers, Instagram.com slash fantasy footballers. You can watch the show at YouTube.com slash the fantasy footballers. Yeah, it's Sean William Scott. Ha ha. I got both his names. Three names, three movies. That's what he's good for.
Like I said, YouTube.com slash the fantasy footballer, subscribe, click the bell, follow along with the show. Let's get into the rewind. Weekly rewind. All right, there were some players placed on the injured reserve ahead of week 10, David Johnson, Justin Jackson, Devonsa Freeman. So three weeks, minimum for those three guys? That is correct. Well, two now. Two more. Two more weeks. Teddy Bridgewater.
Exited with a knee injury, MRI showed no structural damage. I know you were worried, Mike. Yeah, it was one of those, the defender just dives and hits the quarterback right in the back of the knees. And you saw immediately that Teddy Bridgewater was hurt. So that's great news that there's no structural damage at least. But you'll have to monitor it. I won't be shocked to see him miss a week or two. Christian McCaffrey, unlikely to play this upcoming Sunday against the Lions, the shoulder injury.
As of 20 minutes ago, likely to keep him out for another week, and it was not. Mike Davis has lost some steam. Mike Davis. He did all he could. He didn't have the same quite a, you know, the same quite size of tank that Christian McCaffrey had. So, you know, when you run out, you run out much quicker. Like McCaffrey's like a gas powered tankless water heater. Exactly. Yeah. And I think.
I think that's where Jason was trying to go. I was lost. Meanwhile, Mike Davis got one of his elements has been corroded. Now, no, keep with the water heater themed metaphors. It's very easy to comprehend. Yeah. Now, all that said. The anode rod. The bacteria. I shared this a little bit. Sediments. I shared this a little bit last week. As, you know, in our league of record, I've got CMC on the roster. So I'm very interested in having him back.
and read different doctors reports, watched different doctors videos, and I've been worried since that time that he might miss till the buy. Because if he misses this next week, then that means there's one more week until they're by. Which means your first week back with him would be... Would be the fantasy playoffs in week 14. That's fine. Yes, he will be back for the fantasy playoffs. Unless you need him to get there.
Exactly. And that's one of those things where this past week after we did the trade episode, we had a lot of questions. Do I trade Christian McCaffrey for Derek Henry? And if you're in a certain situation where you need wins to get to the playoffs, you might need to do that because I don't know that he's going to be back before the playoffs. All right. Matthew Stafford had tests on the injured thumb. He had it raptor in the game. Not much concern going forward. He'll be the quarterback. Drew Breeze suffered a rib contusion in the game. MRI today to see what cartilage damage is there.
They may be without Drew Breeze for a while. Yeah, the saints right now are expecting to be without him. They're making plans. And it wasn't just the ribs. Remember, he had the shoulder issue as well. So this will just give him time to heal up. Can I throw something out there? Sure. See if it sticks. I mean, the, the tight-in landscape this past week. Oh, brother. This was the elephant graveyard from Lion King, a dark and dangerous place. No one should.
venture to. Drew Bree's missing time. You're going to get a little bit extra Tassum Hill in the next few weeks. And he's tight and eligible in a lot of league formats. So I see where you're going. Why not put Taysome Hill in there if you're not the, basically if you're not the Travis Kelsey fantasy football manager, everybody else is a dart throw right now. Yeah, that's not a terrible idea. I mean, James Winston is going to be the.
the primary quarterback, like the starting quarterback for the team. But you are correct. I expect to see Tayson Hill more than we have annoyingly seen him taking Drew Brie's off the field. He's had some double digit fantasy weeks in spite of himself and what everybody else wants. Treyquan Smith, concussion, exited the games. Michael Hastie suffered a broken collarbone because. Holy crap, man. If you have.
the word running back next to your name in San Francisco, you are going down. They should name them all fullbacks to try to keep them safe. How is Jerich McKinnon, the guy that's not getting injured? That's kind of shocking. He did his time. Yeah. He'd be put in the credit. Now, from what I understand, they're expecting both Mostert and Tavon Coleman back after, I believe the bye week's coming up. Is that right? That would be correct. Yeah. So I think they expect them both back. So, yeah, Jamichael Hastie.
Broken collarbone, see you later. I mean, that's, if you can go to the team that has Rahim Mostert because he's going to be on by and they need to have a piece, I would try and steal Mosterd away. It feels like forever ago since we have seen Rahim Moster, but just remember how he looked playing with that team. And he was dominating. He looked unbelievable. Every play felt like he had a chance at an 80-yard rushing touchdown.
I went out and got him a couple weeks ago in Dynasty for the playoffs because I think he has a great opportunity. John Brown exited with an ankle injury on the other leg. So he is now hobbled again. And we saw what Cole Beasley did in this game with once John Brown left. It was the Cole Beasley show. Patrick Peterson was locked up on Diggs. Diggs still got his. But Beasley is interesting.
Yeah, if John Brown is out, Beasley is a great fantasy option. Now the bills are on by, so I expect that John Brown will be active and good enough to go in two weeks. All right. Chris Carson, excellent chance of returning in week 11 against the Cardinals. That's Thursday night football. That is a huge game. Both six and three teams playing for the division. We get to see Kyler and Russ again. I cannot wait. And they need.
Chris Carson very badly. Yes, they do. Andrew Whitworth, torn MCL damaged PCL. Oh, really? So it wasn't an ACL, but, you know, this is starting tackle for the Los Angeles Rams. This is going to hurt. I mean, it hurts him, but it's going to hurt the team as well. Yeah, yeah, it definitely will. And a couple of Monday night updates. David Montgomery was ruled out. You guys talked about this. Lamar Miller was activated off the practice squad, so you're going to have Lamar Miller.
You're going to have Cordarell Patterson. You're going to have Ryan Nall. I would expect Miller to get the majority of the work tonight. Over and all? I do. Yeah. Yeah. I expect Miller to get the majority of the early down work. And then Alan Robinson, he is questionable with a knee injury. I have him in a league where I had to add Anthony Miller just as an insurance policy in case he misses, but I would expect him to be out there. And it's such a good matchup against Minnesota that it'd be a shame if he wasn't. And you've got play calling being handed off to Bill Laser tonight, which...
You know, sometimes that could be like, oh, no, what's going to happen? But in this case, it's a how could it get any worse? I just hope that laser keeps the magic alive. Yeah. Yeah. Well, yeah, he's got a deck of cards. He's got a top hat and things like that. All right. Let's talk studs. This week's fantasy stud muffins. All right, Tom Brady did it. He doesn't always do it, but he did it.
Against Carolina, 28 for 39, three touchdowns, 341 passing yards. Jason's start of the week. So pick your spots with Tom Brady. Yeah. I'm going to pick my spot after being humiliated on prime time. I'm going to pick betting on Tom Brady. You know what's going to be very fun for me on the outside looking in, Jason, is you have Tom Brady and you have Josh Allen. And you have a Tom Brady playoff schedule of Minnesota, Atlanta, Detroit. And yet I know.
That that schedule will not be enough to make you not think long and hard and make the wrong decision between Brady and Josh Allen. It's tough. I mean, I made the wrong decision this week and play Josh Allen, but it's fine. Now, Josh Allen plays Pittsburgh, Denver, New England in those fancy playoff weeks. Yeah, that's why I went and got Tom Brady. Yeah. But it's going to be hard to actually say, okay, Josh Allen. Especially if Brady gives you a stinker over the next three weeks to make you wonder. But great week for him. Kyler Murray is unstoppable.
