Mike Wright, present, and accounted for. I'm Andy Holloway. We've got matchups on this show today. We'll talk briefly about last night's ball game. A lopsided a thing. I found it quite boring. But it was good to see Aaron Rogers get it going. He played quite well. He played very well. Yeah, if you looked at like the next gen stats, the where the passes were completed and you compare the weeks, it looks like, oh, yeah, this is this is what we were hoping for, someone that can hit all the.

areas of the field can go left, can go right, and scramble a little? It speaks to what Mike said last week watching the Garrett Wilson film that Aaron Rogers looked a little bit rusty, missed some opportunities, but that's probably how it's supposed to be, like Kirk Cousins too, like to end the game the way he did, like both of those guys coming off the Achilles, maybe rounding into form, maybe giving you some hope for Drake London and some hope for Garrett Wilson's future. I had people reach out today. And I'll let you guys answer this question. I'll tell you how I answered it. He said, is this a sell high opportunity for Garrett Wilson? Because he got into the end zone. The yardage wasn't very high. What would you say to that question? So he is, I think, the question of the game is like, was this a good game? Because he got a touchdown or was this a bad game? Because he got 33 total yards. You saw Aaron Rogers talk about after the game. He said, you know, we had the first three weeks.

where the defenses we faced were just, they just happened to have their main goal to be to take out Garrett Wilson. But I would, I go back to, okay, well, when he was a Packers quarterback, every single defense was trying to take out Devante Adams, and they couldn't, you know? So is he really a true alpha, an alpha? I'm talking like one of those top five wide receivers in the NFL, one of those guys that who you hoped he would develop into this season when you drafted him at like that one-two turn. And I don't think so. I think that it's still in the realm of possibility for Garrett Wilson because some of the ways that Devante Adams was unable to be taken away by a defense was they worked together for so many years. Like the back shoulder throws, the timing routes, knowing where and when your guy is going to be there. I actually responded that I wouldn't. I wouldn't try to sell high, Mike. What would you do? Yeah. So the my.

rebuttal to what you're saying, Jay, is just defenses are different now. I mean, like, it's differences are the way that they scheme to take out a number one with the, I mean, it's the hot thing, the cover two. But it works. Like if you choose to take out a player, I mean, like Jamar Chase, the Kansas City Chiefs last week, which they have a pretty good corner, but their entire game plan was Jamar Chase is not going to beat us. And you would. I think you'd agree. Jamar Chase is one of the best wide receivers on the game. For sure. He was removed by the Kansas City Chiefs. It's just things are able to do that right before we started recording watched every Garrett Wilson Target real quick. And the misses were you had the one on the sideline where like that one's on Garrett, you got to get those feet down. Yeah, I was disappointed in that play. That was, that was very disappointing because he just.

Dude, you got to drag. You got to drag that other foot. You have to know you got to do that. It's been a couple of times earlier this year, too. And then the other misses were really, I don't know, I don't know exactly where the route is supposed to meet, but the mind meld, what is going on over here? You're making a whole thing about it, so I got to stop talking. I'm sorry. You gave the falcons some eyes. When you look down at your mug of water that's been filled by a different person and there's a hair in it. Oh, no. You know, I'm just. Was this a falcon mustache hair? Is this a feather? It was a fairly long hair. I'm like, this is disgusting. Oh, man. Oh, he threw the water. He dumped the water. There is a camera right over there.

Yeah. It's not splashed the camera. Anyways, the mind meld that he had, that Rogers eventually got with Adams. And remember, remember who sucked? Oh, yeah. Who was a complete and total bust in the NFL? Devante Adams. And then the mind, then they got totally locked in and there were, it was an out route. And I think Rogers missed it. And then there was a couple other ones where clearly what Rogers wanted Will, or Garrett to do, he just. Their communication level wasn't there. All that to say. So what does that mean for this year? The elite stuff, if that's going to happen, it will be over the second half of getting them more and more practices together. Think about how much these guys have actually practiced together. Last year's off season, then he got hurt, and then he was recovering, and this off season in a couple games. I still think that leaves things open. Yes.

to not getting it together for this season. 100%. That could be in the range of outcomes. It also matters if Conklin and Lazard and Williams are consistent pass catchers in the offense that defenses have to account for because the recipe to start the year was Garrett Wilson and let's let everybody else try to beat us. Yeah, I think that I agree with you, Andy. I would not sell high here. I'm not calling for Garrett Wilson to, you know, have a bad season by any means. I'm still a little bit disappointed that he does not present as true alpha to me. And maybe that'll happen this season, but I think he'll be a very solid wide receiver too. I take the Rogers comments after the game. I do take those to heart of him saying what you said, Jav. No, it's Aaron Rogers not saying Garrett Wilson needs to do something better. He's saying, no, the defenses are removing him from the game plan. And that.

And the rest of the quote was like, and that's a testament to the talent that Garrett Wilson is, that the other teams are so freaked out by him that we have to find a different way to win. So Rogers was 2735 for 281 and 2. This was a completely valuable fantasy start if you were to have streamed Aaron Rogers. So we haven't been able to say that in a long time. The other two storylines from the night for me, obviously on the... On the New England side, it was atrocious top to bottom. I mean, Ramandre Stevenson was six for 23 on the ground with a fumble. He was negative in a lot of your leagues. He was 0.7 in one of mine. This is a situation where he was number two, I believe, in total touches at the position coming into week three, and it was a disaster.

from the jump. So people were very frustrated. The Jets don't have a great rush defense. This is the offensive line for the Patriots. Yeah, we kind of threw that out there yesterday on yesterday's show of like, look, they're going to be missing three starters. And one of their other starters was been on the injury report all week. So it was like there was no, if I had Ramandre, even with that, knowing that, I was, I was still going to play Ramandre. He had been way too good, but this is just. Now you need to really pay attention to what's going on with this offensive line. The other story to me, it's a real one. And that face that Jason has is not a face of disaster. The beast. I mean, Braylon Allen was 11 for 55. Breece Hall was 16 for 54 with a touchdown. This is the third week that Braylon Allen has showed you something special on the field. Four receptions for.

Breast Hall. However, three for Braille and Allen. Yeah, I mean, this is like, it's a real thing. 20 opportunities for Breast. Yeah, he's 14, 14 opportunities for Braylon Allen. This might be a game where you go, hey, well, there was a fumble, right, by, by Breece? I thought there was a fumble loss by Breeze. You can vet that, but going back through the box score and seeing like, when was the involvement of Braylin Allen? A fumble out of bounds. The. Braylon Allen had seven of his 14 opportunities in the first half, seven in the second half. He is just a part of the office. And I am not in any way, shape, or form in the slightest concerned that Brees is going to have a bad season now or be in a committee timeshare where he's not going. Every single week, Brees is going to be very good for fantasy. I agree. But it does cap that like.

Christian McCaffrey legendary type of season. It might take RB1 overall off the table. Exactly. You're not going to be out there. You know, you're going to have some touchdowns go to Braylon Allen. You're going to have some passing work go to Braylon Allen. And that's just unfortunate, but hopefully it keeps Brise upright. And Braylin Allen, I mean, talk about an RB1 rookie season for the Dallas Cowboys. Oh my God. I mean, what are you doing, Cowboys? What are you doing 49ers? Sure. Isaac Garindo ahead of Braylon Allen. I mean, Ray Davis, in Buffalo, ahead of Braylon Allen. Braylin tweeted, because he retweeted someone had thrown out into the internet. Like, how did this, how did the NFL let this happen of this guy fall into the fourth round? You know, the Jets get him. He's 20 years young. Still can't buy a beer. And he retweeted, I don't have it in front of me, but essentially saying like,

They wanted me to see me running my underwear to judge if I'm a good football player. Yeah. That's like Dalvin Cook. That's like Kareem Hunt. We have these players that struggled on Combine Day. And how many years do we need? When do we get the influence to tell them to put the pads on the 40? You can run the regular 40. You know what would be cool? The ratio. How about the ratio between the pads on, pads off 40? Can we do something that represents playing football? This is a guy that a lot of people really liked in the draft process. Mike, I can't remember if you were running back two or three. He was my two. Yeah, I mean, you loved him coming in. I mean, he's a young monster. Yeah, it's good because he didn't run. He didn't do the 40. So he's at least insinuating that that was a knock. Yeah, it was. You don't call that was seventh or eighth off the board at running back. And right now looks like by far the best. The play where the.

He had a defender just clobber him in the backfield. And he doesn't move. And he's just like, um, okay, well, I'm going to, I'm going to go over there now. Thank you for your best effort. On the flip side, that pass protection for Breece Hall. Oh, my gosh. I thought it was, I thought he got knocked out the way he, he, he helicoptered. Raylon Allen is six. He is at 20. He was a collegiate superstar at 17. Yes. Like this is just, it's a really good job by the Jets because we know injuries happen. We know how important it is to take, you know, give your workhorse the ability to take some plays off so they're more efficient and effective. But it's really been an impressive start to the year. Lazard scored again. Oh, man. Tyler Conklin had his first big game. He was a t-shirt rip away.

That was hard. That shirt went for infinity yards. The mummy moment in the game unraveling. All right. It is Friday. Put Clan Friday. All right. Texans running backs, Joe Mixin, and Damien Pierce still did not practice on Thursday. Okay. That would leave Cam Acres and Daria Gumbawale as the remaining two pieces of the depth chart. It would also put, like if both guys missed, Cam Acres is an okay start. Yeah, he's an okay start. He's a good player. He's looked good in the system. The coaches have talked him up, but it's a difficult matchup against the Vikings. Sometimes you get that.

next guy up and you're all excited. I think he's just a good flex play. Carson Steele or Cam Acres in that situation? I would, oh man, I think I would go Cam Acres. We just don't know how the steel. I do think Steele will get the majority of the first and second downwork. It's just a matter of does he get the targets or is that all P. Ryan? And we just don't know. Does he have any big plays as a starter? You know what I mean? When you're running the football is this. you know, use check gain four or five yards or does he have a breakout, you know, run? Well, he starts falling from behind the line of scrimmage. That's true. So he'll fall forward always. I would love it if they put one of the receivers back behind, like an eye formation, and they just shoved him in the back. And then he starts the fall. Nico limited. That's a good sign that he could be back out there. Jordan Love in pads has a realistic chance of playing, according to Ian Rappaport.

You know, if you're the Packers coming off a win, I might not do it. Yeah, and you have the revenge narrative with Malik Willis going to Tennessee. Will you allow him to be the starter and go in there and get the W. I'm not sure how much that matters. What does matter is that I do think Tennessee at home against Malik Willis is an unbelievably good play. DST? Yeah, DST. It's just a matter of you don't know yet whether or not. you're facing Jordan Love or Malik Willis. Jaden Reed Limited should be back out there. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert Limited after a DMP on Wednesday. He should be back out there. Joshua Palmer didn't practice. Or play in the last couple games. Oh, yeah. At least that I noticed. Yeah, no, no. Calf elbow injury. We also got word just now this morning that Michael Pittman was not practicing. Oh, come on. No, no, no. Hold on. He's not practicing today, but he is out there. Hmm? Hmm.

Huh? He's just, he's hanging out. It's got a lawn chair. Well, follow up. He's at practice. He's just not practicing. Al, let us know if you hear more about Michael Pittman. We'll do. Uh, we have. I finally decided. I finally decided I was going to go into Richardson for my quarterback trio. Oh, you had made that call? I made that call. That was Purdy. Peri and Gino. Yep. And, and I dropped Purdy even. And, uh, man. Now it's a pretty bad decision. Swish. George Kittle was held out of Thursday's practice with hamstring tightness. We will continue to monitor that. It's part of our show today. C.D. Lamb returned in a limited fashion. Mike McCarthy said not of a high concern. Kenneth Walker remained sidelined and seems like he'll be sidelined for at least another week. And then T. Higgins returned to practice. And maybe he'll be back out there on Monday. Limited practice. Yeah. Well, that is returning.

Yeah, no, it is. I mean, you want to see at least two full practices coming back from a hamstring injury. But Monday night game. I was going to say this is like the Wednesday practice for them because they're on Monday night football. Yeah, every every beat reporter right now saying that Michael Pittman is not practicing. He's just, he's out there, man. He's out there. Is he just like, is he mad because he can't get good passes? Well, here's the thing. If you're not practicing for all the players that aren't practicing, what are they at home? Like, aren't they always all day? Yeah, this is a weird. I mean, we're probably reading too much into it. We should just report it as not practicing. Okay. You know, I remember Devante Smith was missing some practices before the season started. He was just standing there watching. He was in Hawaii. Denver at 0-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Drafking Sportsbook Line, Tampa minus six and a half. Over Under is 41. Trap game for Tampa? Victory-wise? No. No, this is not a trap game. No. For fantasy, though, I mean, I don't know that I want to play Baker. He's been, you know, playing very well. But, you know, guys like, I mean, Carr for sure. Gino? Gino would be like right on that fringe of. who I'd rather start. I was trying to think you'd go, Gina. I would. Just like, think about some upside here where the, the Broncos offense can do nothing. Like, and you are really, you're reluctantly playing one guy, I think, from the Denver Broncos, at least for me. It's Giovante Williams where week one, the snaps were, and opportunities were more shared than week two. It went back to Giovante Williams being.

A workhorse, his rushing yard is sitting at 46.5. I don't know. There was, we should check on Vita Vaya. No, he's not. I don't think he's playing this week. Okay. So that's at least a, yeah. No, it's, I think it's everything. I mean, go look at their numbers this year versus last year so far. If Vita Vaya was there, Javante Williams is not a playable asset to me. Because he's just a volume guide. He's going to have 13 yards on the ground. Vita Vaya is also a volume guy. Yes, he is. Vita Vaya on the defensive line for Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I assume he's not going to play. That's what it seems like. And if he's not, you can close your eyes and put Javante in and then check out on the Broncos. Just give Javent those five targets, please. Godwin, Evans, Rashad White, if he's active, he was working in practice. He's a tougher start, I think.

I'm groin. Yeah, he hurt the groin in the game. He's been limited for the week because of it. Like, Rashobite is not an efficient runner already. Right. Didn't you face Detroit? Who's number one against running backs. So I wouldn't be, you know, it could have been a little bit of an outlier. Obviously, lowest receiving total in 20 games for Rashad White. Week one, he was six for 75. I'd have a hard time. Like, would you bench Rashad White for Carson Steele? or Cam Acres or Gus Edwards. No, I wouldn't bench. If Rashad White is active, I'm basically playing whichever running back is active in this game. Because if Rashad White is out, Bucky Irving has looked good enough to go. Huge opportunity. Huge opportunity. So whoever the starting running back is, I will play him. I'm not going to play Bucky if Rashad White is active. Let's say Rashad White or are you drafted J.K. Dobbins against the Pittsburgh Steelers. I would go Rashad White. The Steelers defense is, you know, full legit. And I expect that game to have.

a solid 30 points scored. Carolina, oh and two, taking on the 101 Las Vegas Raiders, the Draft King Sportsbook line here, Vegas minus five, over under is 40. And wild comeback last week for the Raiders, their odds of winning were not high. And then all of a sudden flipped the script, Bowers, Devante Adams, Gardner Minshew, they got it together and took out the... Look at the Ravens, a big surprise. The overrunner here is just 40. That gives Carolina 17. Andy Dalton's the starter. The Raiders right now, we talked about them on the WaverWire show in terms of opportunity to pick them up and play them against Carolina. Here's who they play, just so you know, if you want a long-term pickup, Carolina at home. It's good. Cleveland at home. That's good. At Denver. Bow-Nicks. That's good.

versus Pittsburgh at home. That's probably good. That's great. At Los Angeles, the Rams with what they've got going on. Yeah, we'll see what they have there. So that's a five-week stretch that I think is very, for a solid defense that can rush the passer that can put up a surprise good game. If you've got Max Crosby, you can cause havoc for fantasy. So Andy Dalton, the era, the Dalton era begins again in Carolina. I like the, I don't remember what radio show was talking about it, but they mentioned that Andy Dalton. Seems like he's the backup for like six teams. And like whatever team loses their starter first, he just becomes their starter. That's like he's still the Cowboys backup. It was very funny. That's what the NFL should do. They should have like a cue of backups so that the quality of their product is good. Oh my gosh. Like rankings of backups. And all of those guys go. Oh, Heineke's in that list. They all go and they train together. They're, you know what I mean? They're learning the playbooks of all the teams. That's great.

Well, that group is going to include Bryce Young wandering over to that group soon. Oh, man. Do you start Panthers in this game? I mean, I don't. I wait and see. Yes, this is, I'm fine grabbing them off of waivers. Whether you want to take the shot on Xavier Liget or Deontay Johnson, including it obviously in all Superflex leagues, Andy Dalton went for a lot. They're all good to have on your roster to see what's going to come, but you're not going to start them on the road, week one, not knowing the packing order. So I think you check out on the Carolina side of the ball. Maybe, maybe Chuba. Chuba is one of those where 15 opportunities last week. Running backs are needed. He'll get the opportunity. Chuba or Cam Acres if he's, if there's no mixing. If there's no mixing and no Pierce, then I would go Acres. Otherwise, Chuba. I think I'd go Chuba.

Mike has mentioned Zemir White, who has a rushing and receiving line on DK of 71 and a half speaking to the 31st ranked Carolina run defense. Yep. Mike is the process. Mike is, you know, stiff arming the film on Zemir White so far and going with the opportunity in Carolina. If you have Alexander Madison on your team, he's on the bench. Yeah. And, you know, just don't have mine on your team. Devante Adams and Brock Bowers are locked to play in this game. Bowers at start of the week as well. And I think Jacoby Myers, if you still have him, you can cut him because he got Brocked. He got Brocked right in the face. Yeah, he did. Anybody else in this matchup you want to discuss? No. Miami's one-on-one. They travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. The D.K. Sportsbook line here, Seattle minus four and a half. The O'Runders 41 and a half.

I would love to be able to hit that button in this one, but I just think Seattle gets another. I think they get another win to start the year. Skyler Thompson is starting for Miami. Gino Smith has been playing good football and is Mike's start of the week. With steel underpants on. Okay. 74% of his pass is completed? Gotten a lot out of JSN last week. Is JASN now, look at you at the point where he should be in a lineup every week after what you saw last Sunday? As a flex. That was just when a young player does something like that, you got to respond to it. Something like that was 16 targets for 12 receptions and 117 years. Yeah, and his line's sitting at 49.5 yards. I would. Yeah, I mean, he is not a player that's come out of nowhere. Right. This was a first round draft pick last year who was said to be the best wide receiver in the draft class. Looked awesome as a prospect.

and was underutilized with a terrible Shane Waldron offense last year. Now you see Shane Waldron leave, the Ryan Grebovich. We talked about a lot this off season coming in and hopefully having a good utilization of the slot player like he did for the University of Washington. And then boom, bam, you see it. The utilization is so different. He's not getting all of his passes behind the line of scrimmage. So I'm in on, I don't want to be late to the party. on being like, I need to see it again. I'll put JSN in my lineup. Would you put him in over Amari Cooper against the Giants? Yeah, I think so. I think I would. Tank Dell against Minnesota? I'd play Tank. That one's close. I still like Tank. Wait a minute. Yesterday you said you'd play Cooper against the Giants.

Did I over Tank against Minnesota? Oh, well, I didn't. No, it's a new day. I'm not pointing at you. I'm pointing at Mike. Well, that was yesterday. So you've changed now, so Cooper versus Tank. I mean, I think you can't say Cooper. Say Cooper. You can't do that. You make the world implode. Fantasy algebra doesn't always have to add up. No, I, like that's close. I mean, I can check the, that's just the, the, the, the, the vibes. Can check the actual rankings here. Oh, man, they're going to say Cooper. I have tank one spot ahead of Cooper. Okay. Brian Thomas Jr. or Jason? Jason. Metcalf's in your lineup. Charbonnet is in your lineup, right? Yeah, it's kind of gross. Miami has been really good defensively against all positions except for running back. Charbonnet just barely qualifies as a running back. Yeah, Charbonnet is not good on the ground, but he gets enough. He can score touchdowns.

and he's very involved in the passing game. He is the reason that I really like Gino this week. And I think you brought that up in your start of the week yesterday, but they're not going to be able to run the ball well. And I think they're going to sling it. On the other side, Skyler Thompson, when he had Jalen Waddle the last time he was a starter, Waddle had 23, 44 and 44. receiving yards. Are you actually just... I'm straight benching him. You're straight benching Jalen Waddle. I'm straight bench and Jalen Waddle. There are a lot of, a lot of flex options I would rather have over Waddle. It's such... And Tyreek, Tyreek will play him, his, but his production, you have to expect it to come down. Yeah, Tyreek, I think he had one good game with Skyler and the rest were pretty bad. Devon A. Chan should be fine, seven receptions in each of the first two weeks, and you saw Skyler come in and...
