One of the, this was a very interesting, you know, in baseball, Sabre metrics is all the rage, right? They pay attention to a metric called wins above replacement. And we had somebody send us in the, they applied the wins above replacement metric to quarterbacks last season. This was a shout out to Jeffrey Henderson who did this. This is a huge metric in baseball. And it basically evaluates how many wins a baseball player contributes to their team. And it's like one of the more dominating metrics.

When you apply it to quarterback position last year, Patrick Mahomes was number one by a wide margin in wins above replacement. Makes sense. The number two player on the list, mind you, number three, Big Ben, number four, Matt Ryan, number five, Andrew Luck, number six, Cam Newton. Can I take a guess? You can take a guess. Ryan Fitzpatrick had the second best wins above replacement number. Yeah, that makes sense. He's just. He's a good quarterback. And he's going to start in Miami. He's going to start. Well, he's not going to finish.

He's a starter. He's a starter. He's not a finisher. So I think that's going to wrap up today. Who do you want to talk about? The dirty deeds done dirt cheap in the 10th round. My man, Peyton Barber. Okay. Sorry, the running game. Yes. My bad. Look, it's gross. You don't want him on your team, but he's going to be the starter. And the latest buzz, we're sifting through the buzz, but it's Peyton Barber actually excited that he's going to get targets.

because of Bruce Arian's system, it's not an automatic that Bruce Arian's is going to throw to the running back a ton. He doesn't throw it all because he's the coach. What about Andre Ellington? Andre Ellington is also involved, but Barbers, Barbers target volume. I hear he's looking as good as his rookie season, Andre Ellington. That's what the word was. Like last year.

Peyton Barber had 234 carries. That is a lot of carries. And in that time, he only had 29 targets. If you remember Bruce Sarians with Andre Ellington, though. Yeah. Andre Ellington owned third down. There was a season in Arizona where Andre Ellington started the season as the number one running back on that team. I would imagine based on, you know, I know it's a lot of buzz around Ellington. But Peyton Barber, by all metrics, you talk about Edo Smith not being good. Payton Barber was not good on a carry-by-carry basis. Sure.

And Ellington has a proven pounds catching record. I'd be really surprised that Peyton Barber catches a bunch of passes this year. No, I'm not saying a bunch. But I still think he will be the primary ball carriers. What about a bundle? A bundle is fair. But look, 200 plus carries again for Payton Barber is not outside the realm of possibility. In the 10th round that. When it's Ronald Jones and Andre Ellington are the other options they have. And I just, I see him, I see the reception total going up. Is he over 30 receptions? Just say it.

10th round? That's ridiculous. Do you see me troll Jason on Twitter? I don't know if I did. With Melvin Gordon signing with the Lions right after the theoretic release. Yeah. I really, really enjoyed that. It's very fun. Do you think the Lions end up bringing somebody else in it all? Or do they got it figured out? I think they believe in Zach Zinner.
