Getting some breaking news or no. Nope. Nope. All right. Let's get in. Fantasy forecast. Do you think that the Saints turn their season around? No. I think what helps the Saints do good is having the Atlanta Falcons fumble the ball all over the place and let kicks go backwards into their end zone. I like it when they do good. Yeah, me too. I love the Saints. I love when they're a high scoring, high-powered offense.

But, I mean, the reason that they won last night was... I will never forgive the Saints for that hit on Drew Breese or on a Kerr Warner. Yeah. Wow. Sorry. You holding an old grudge? Yeah. What if we, you know, we get Drew one of these days. Were they even the score? Yeah. Bountygate! Bountygate! All right, I'm going to pass that along. All right, Redskins, they go into New York. They face the Jets. Jets are heavy favorites.

Kind of a low over-under in this game, which I understand. Redskins have a pretty solid defense that like to run the ball. The Jets are the same. So what do we think about this game from a fantasy perspective? What are we doing with this Redskins backfield? Everybody wants to know, oh, do I keep Jones on my bench? Do I keep Morris? Do I keep Thompson? Do I twiddle my thumbs and cry?

That's such a tough call because every week it seems to be different. It's game flow dependent. The only one that you can rely on as far as knowing what their usage is going to be is Thompson, but he hasn't been good enough to be necessarily started week in and week out. He outsnap both of them again last week. Yeah, so in this matchup this week, I mean, I don't know what you do long term. You try to package them and get something, which is darn near impossible. Yeah, you could stash. I mean, I think Alph.

and Jones are good stashes for a bench. If there's an injury, one of them becomes very valuable. Right. I would also say the guy to trade them to is the owner of the other player. I mean, if you want to, somebody's probably, if I owned. Would you really take him? Man, I don't want to clog your bench with both of them? Well, if I owned Alf.

I'm not talking about me. I would not want to. But there are people out there that are disappointed in Alf who would at least want the backfield or something like that. That would be where I'd pitch it because I don't really want to hold Matt Jones on my bench with other options out there. Maybe. I'm just saying for me, there's no way I'm taking both of those guys on my bench. So this week, you have to sit all the Redskins. I mean, they're going up against the jets as far as the running backs. You don't start carrier?

Or are you just talking about running back? No, I'm just talking about the running backs. You know, you don't know who it's going to be, and you know whoever it is is going to be in a bad matchup. There's just no way that I would want any of them in. On the other side of the ball at the running back position, Chris Ivory, this is a little bit of a tough matchup, but I see Chris Ivory right now as matchup proof. He's also, sorry, go ahead. If he's healthy and if he's playing, he's got to be in your lineup. Ball Powell might not play.

As well. And he only had one touch last game. Really? Yeah, he is very questionable to play. I think Bilalphal sits in this game. And so Ivory's a start. Marshall's a start. What about Eric Decker? Oh, yeah. Really? Yes. Eric Decker has been great. Eric Decker, like we had talked about, he's a perfect two. He's a very solid wide receiver. Marshall is attracting all the attention. They have a great run game, which opens everything up for the pass. So I just...

I love Decker. He's also very, very used in the red zone. They run routes for him. They look for him. He's had a lot of targets in the red zone. And so I do think he's a decent player. So we're saying that Ivory, Marshall, and Decker are all start worthy. And I would start the Jets defense in this game, too. You're at home facing a not high profile offense. Kirk Cousins tends to make a mistake or two. Yeah. No. What about the tight-end position from the Washington side? I like Carrier a lot. I'm okay with it, yeah.

He had a touchdown last week? Yep. It's not a good matchup. So, you know, I would look elsewhere for people of that caliber. But, you know, Reed has a really hard time getting back from his injuries. And so I would say carrier's a good guy long term. Long term, meaning multiple weeks, not rest of season. Now, the Cardinals travel across the country. They go to Pittsburgh and they play the Michael Vic led, we assume. Pittsburgh Steelers this week.

The Steelers are underdogs by three and a half points at home, which the way the Cardinals are playing makes sense. But give me the fantasy spin on the quarterback position in this game. Does Palmer an auto start no matter what? Revenge. Yeah, so this is... So explain that to the people because they might not understand why you just uttered revenge like a demon. So Bruce Ariens used to be a coach on the Steelers' staff, and he felt like he was...

eligible like passed over yes passed over several times and that was uh basically forced to retire i don't if if people don't remember this before he ended up on the the colts and ended up being the interim head coach and getting the head coach job in arizona but he was he was retired uh forcibly for a small amount of time

And so you're saying he's going back home? This is the first time he's gone back to Pittsburgh, and there's some thoughts of maybe he wants to score 75 points. I would. I would. So I'm scoring 75 points. I'm the Cardinals, and I'm using which running back? Chris Johnson. Okay, so Chris Johnson, you would start him without hesitation. Correct. Without hesitation. Would you start Andre Ellington? No. Would you start David Johnson?

I would start David Johnson over Andre Ellington, but I would probably not start David Johnson. I got an email today from a guy who he wrote in. Actually, it was a review on iTunes, an iTunes review for the show. And he said he was really excited about David Johnson, and he went to a bar, and he watched the game, and David Johnson ran it in.

And he just couldn't help himself. So he sang David Johnson very loudly in the bar. And he said a guy across the bar in the corner of the bar just screamed, Foot Clan! What? Across the bar. Yes. I thought that was. That is amazing. We are everywhere. It was kind of like draft season with the, you know, when you show up at your draft and like one other guy's got double stuffed Oreos with him. Oh, that's. And you're like...

That's an awesome story. I know. It was good, right? All right, so Larry Fitzgerald is very high on the wide receiver rankings right now. I know, you know, the traditional thing with fantasy, especially in week five, okay, this is kind of, this is make a break for a lot of players. The reason the question about Devante Freeman, where he finishes is because we are deciding in a much more real way whether we think things are going to stay the same for players.

Or they're going to drop off, right? A couple weeks ago, it was like, is Forset going to be a two? Is he going to be a three? Okay, well, he kind of came back. C.J. Anderson, is he done? Lamar Miller, what's he going to be? Is Devante Freeman, like, do we trade him for a big name like AP? You know, I had to tell somebody this morning he wrote me in after the game last night. The trade was AP and Moncrief for Freeman and Jeffrey. And I had to say, well, no.

Yeah. Don't do it. No. I mean, because... What a crazy world do we live in. I know. The trends, I mean, the trends are pretty evident. And so Larry Fitzgerald's another one of those guys who... He struggled for so long to be a fantasy, relevant, reliable option that five games into the season we're going, is this a mirage or not? And so, Mike, definitively, you know, you probably intercepted some emails based on everything we talked about today. Definitively, is Larry Fitzgerald going to stay where he's at?

Or not. And maybe you're the wrong person to ask because you own him in a bunch of leagues. But go ahead. I actually only own him in one league, but it's my league of record. And we talked him up so much in the offseason because last year, with a healthy Carson Palmer, Larry Fitzgerald, was amazing. His pace was wide receiver one numbers. Carson Palmer has been healthy all year. What do we have from Larry Fitzgerald? Top five.

wide receiver numbers. I love Fitzgerald moving forward entire year. As long as Carson's healthy, Fitzgerald will be great. Do you agree with that, Jason? I agree 100% across the board. If Palmer is healthy, then Fitz will be good. It does seem that when you watch the games, we're from Arizona. We're obviously very tied into the team and glued to that screen. Seems like they're really forcing the issue with them in the red zone, too.

where, you know, the touchdown numbers are there. So maybe Fitzgerald's papa was right. And when they were, when they were, he was always saying. Getting his number down? They were trying to get his numbers down during that contract year. And now that they've already got the contract, he's a Hall of Famer, we should get the ball to Larry. He's really good. Doesn't hurt. I think having what I think having Carson Palmer helps too. Yeah. Antonio Brown, we have to discuss this. Oh, man. Because this is brutal.

because he's had two games now that are very disappointing with Michael Vick and the Cardinals are very good against the past and Patrick Peterson is very good in one-on-one situations. Peterson's back.

Yeah, if you haven't been watching the Cardinals, Peterson is great again. Would you sit, Antonio Brown? I feel the need to apologize because earlier in this week, now, we haven't, we haven't, nobody has gone forward with that advice because that was still this week, so no mistakes have been made, but we, you know, we almost mocked the idea of sitting Antonio Brown. But the more where you look at this matchup and realize with Vic and with Patrick Peterson, Antonio Brown is definitely somebody that you might have a roster with guys.

who you would play ahead of him. It's not that you're sitting Antonio Brown because you think he's awful. It's just there are probably going to be 20 guys that are ahead of him this week. And if you've got two or three on your roster, you might play him. I've got a very difficult question for you. Okay. It's a Brown on Brown question. Oh. Would you start John Brown over Antonio Brown in this game? John Brown's kind of right. He's right on that line. On that? I would probably not be able to. On that line.
