The latest episode, which is available right now, features former NFL commissioner, Paul Tagliaboo, talking about the massive innovations both on the field and off that help football become America's most popular sport. He also talks about how the opportunities and challenges the league is faced are similar to those faced by businesses of all types. To the fantasy footballers podcast. Coming to you from the Playdraft Studios with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Ah, welcome to the podcast. Once again, gather around. Yeah, you got to get stretched. Stretching out. Are you stretching? No showtime injuries for me today. How?

2:17 ↗

Very flexible. You know, it's funny you say that because that's the biggest lie that has ever been said. I am confident that if there was some kind of tournament. You better be careful over here because... For the least flexible person, I'm sure I'd take that doubt. If you had like, you know, a month to get to the point where you could touch your toes standing up for a million dollars, could you get there? No way on planet Earth.

2:45 ↗

If you're out there and you're a personal trainer and you're thinking I could get them there, you sir are wrong or madam. Are you just missing like tendons that should be there? My hamstring. They're like bricks. The back of my leg, I feel like what happened was like I lost a foot of it and they just connected it together. And it's, you know, it still works. It's very, very tight. It's so tight. Oh, well. You ever seen hamstrings like these?

3:13 ↗

If I lift my leg up, my hamstring will pop. Like a guitar string? Yeah, exactly. Welcome to the fantasy footballers. Oh, can you play them? It's like, boom, bum, bum, bum. When I run, it is a glorious symphony. Oh, hamstring. That's your hamstring right there.

3:36 ↗

Let's talk about this Monday night game. Welcome in. We've got waiver wires. Waiver wire picks on the show today. Quarterback streamers will talk about the news and fantasy football gets you ready for week 11. Are we at week 11? This is the time of year where waivers make all the difference, preparing for playoffs, getting these final matchups. It's great. Take it home. Yeah, we are. That foot clan title. Yeah, we are. I, um, I'm coming off an evening where, you know, I had had some.

4:05 ↗

Had some bad Mediterranean food. I felt like very good, very good food when I ate it the first time. And you re-eated? Wait, what? No, on the way in. On the way in. Okay. And look, I feel like I really can relate and understand the dolphins. Dolphins fans, yeah. Dolphins fans. Yeah, that was.

4:33 ↗

That was quite the performance. Not good. You know, by Miami. I was a big Adam Gays fan. He brought him to the playoffs last year, but I worry he's losing this team. The way he shipped Jay Jai out of town, the way that they've underwhelmed. I mean, they're only four and five. I get it. Yeah, it's, their record says that they're still okay. But nobody on planet Earth thinks that this team can compete for anything. No. Do we? I mean. No, no, no, certainly not.

5:03 ↗

The way. And I'm not saying I don't like him. I just, the team is, something weird is happening there. Their offense, he's an offensive mind. And their offense is the worst in football or borderline. I mean, it's just, it's, it's an odd thing. And it affects everybody. It affects everybody from Landry who thankfully got a garbage time touchdown to Parker to the running back situation. So look, Drake, Kenyon Drake. He's fast. The baby dragon. Give this man more than seven carries.

5:31 ↗

Seriously. It's ridiculous. How about after he breaks off a great touchdown run, you don't take him out of the game for the entire next series. Ah, you weren't supposed to score on the touchdown. You're benched. Yeah, he stuck really strictly to the series for series. Yeah. It's foolish. Well, any other fantasy takeaways from last night's gaming? Camp Newton lit it on fire. The Panthers were absolutely dominant. That was as close to 2015 Cam Newton as we have seen.

6:00 ↗

all season. Projecting forward, I'm not jumping on saying this is what we should expect. I think this is a product of of Cam having a good game. Also, the Miami Dolphins are really, really bad. They're going to be fighting with the Saints for this division. Certainly. They're a good team. It's been a real strange situation. Cam was somebody that I thought could be huge bounceback.

6:29 ↗

And I felt smart and dumb every other week. Yeah, with Cam Newton. Well, and here's the thing about the Dolphins. You had Jonathan Stewart coming into the game, averaging, I think they said on the broadcast, the second worst yards per carrying the league, about 2.8 comes out here. 17 carries for 110 yards looked like he looked unstoppable. I mean, so this is more a product of the Dolphins defense to me than anything else.

Our Twitter is at the FF Ballers. Make sure you follow us. You find out everything going on with our year-round fantasy football podcast. And we appreciate all of your support over on YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, IHeart Radio, everywhere that you listen to the show. Guys, just found this out. I'm still undefeated in our Dynasty League. Oh, congratulations. Ten and O. Magic man. Barely. Magic man over there. Yeah, last night, a little Ed Dixon, Christian McCaffrey, almost knocked me off. Almost. And Devon.

8:16 ↗

S. Scrumptious. Woo. My goodness. Didn't you, uh, yeah, I was going to say, do we hear something for? Yeah, well, I mean, you just, you got to ask, is there any questions? First off. For Devin S. scrumptious, he says, uh, whoa, very nice, Mike. Devin S. scrumption. You should also, you should also just look at the funches drop in there because that is also. What, did you add another one? Yeah, man.

8:45 ↗

This seven has scrumpses. We got to celebrate. I'm letting you. Two touchdowns in the game. I'm letting you down. Five receptions, 92 yards. This is what we were all hoping when, you know, Kelvin. Calvin's gone. The door has been open. Wow. Wow, Mike. You had a good, you had a nice evening. I did. All right. News and notes time. News and notes from around the league. I need that on the board that any time his name is mentioned.

9:25 ↗

Well done. That's better than any questions. Devin scrumptious, big game. All right. Adam Schefter talking about Aaron Jones says he's going to miss about three to six weeks with an MCL injury. If you had to bank on that backfield, you know, the Packers say Time Montgomery might play this week. Has a chance to play. Is that what you want associated with your fantasy football players? Has a chance to play with chance in quotes? That's Time Montgomery all season long.

9:51 ↗

He's got a chance. Yeah, but you don't want to play him. I mean, this is a reaggravation of a rib injury that he, you know, already injured. So you put him out in the game. What's the chance he finishes that game if he plays this week? I would not want to roll that out in my fantasy lineup. And Aaron Jones, even if he misses three weeks, I mean, this is pretty close to fantasy death for this season for Aaron Jones because are you going to say, okay.

10:20 ↗

It's week 14. It's the playoffs. Aaron Jones maybe is the starting running back. No, no way. Packers. So you'll have to see it first, which means you're going to be in the middle of your fantasy playoffs. And it's not happening. He's not going to come back and get that role. Is he, is he dropable?

10:37 ↗

Yes, 100% dropable. You're in a redraft league. I think you don't want to take up your roster. Sitting here at week 11. Absolutely. All right. Rob Kelly's going to miss multiple games. Washington is in New Orleans. Do you have any confidence in playing anybody in the backfield other than Chris Thompson? Yeah. Like would you play P. Ryan against New Orleans, in New Orleans. I would play P. Ryan in New Orleans. I know it's, we've been waiting for.

11:05 ↗

P. Ryan to do something. And so far this year, he really has not. But the Washington offensive line during the draft season that was, you know, one of, it should have been like a top five offensive line. They've been decimated by injury this year. And it's finally coming back together. I think last game was the first game where all five pieces of the original starters were together. And he's going to get the opportunity. I know New Orleans.

11:32 ↗

defense has been... They were like the sun on Shady. Yes. No, they... They've been great. Not good, Mike. Not my best. Not your best. Judge Yamadi, I need a ruling on that one. He's shaking his head. No good, Mike. They've given up 41 yards and 47 yards the last two weeks to Doug Martin and to Shady McCoy. Sure. But then the previous two weeks, they gave up over 100 yards each.

12:00 ↗

So I'm just saying they're not a shutdown, lockdown, can't play a good running back against them. I think P. Rhine this week is going to be a flex-worthy start. And obviously, this being the waiver show, he's someone you should be looking on your waivers to pick up if you need a spot start at running back. When we talk about them later, I'll bring up some other names and you can kind of tell me whether you'd start P. Ryan or those players and we can help people make some decisions. Alan Hurons isn't going to play in week 11. Yeah.

12:29 ↗

Philip Rivers. He's in the concussion protocol. He self-reported some symptoms. He's in the protocol. We'll see if he plays this week. Let's get him that Russell Wilson Magic Tint. Yeah, that thing was nice. He's good to go. Instant heel. Your party has been healed. I could have used that with that Mediterranean food list. You made up for it, Mike. There you. Marcus, Mariotta emerged with a sore left non-throwing shoulder in a mild ankle sprain. No concerns about him playing or suiting up? Not right now.

12:57 ↗

Delaney Walker, wrist injury, but he's, of course, expected to play because he's Delaney Walker. Yeah, but he is, is he Thursday night? Is that what's happening? Yeah, yeah, he is. All right. That game is Pittsburgh, Tennessee on Thursday night in Tennessee, but Pittsburgh's a seven-point favorite, I believe. No, I'm sorry, that's in Pittsburgh. If he is dealing with an injury, as the waivers, I would make a backup plan just in case. It's nice if you do get into that situation. I guess it's just you go with Johnny Smith.
