off of injury. You still saw Nick O'Leary a little bit involved. He got a touchdown. Clay did not play his usual snaps. He's in the 60% where he's usually in those mid-80s. Right. So if he goes back to that with this lineup of games, I think you'll be really happy with Charles Clay if you can't get a Greg Olson and you're dealing with all the barfie tight ends this year. Check out. Watch for the Tomb Raider, Tyler Croft. Still in on that? Yeah, I am. It was a bad game. Look, but he had six targets.

118 passagesbut it was only one for four. He gets to take on Denver. And Cleveland, the following week. I'm still in on Tyler Croft. I want to talk about your favorite defensive starts for this week. You're picking up a defense. You're playing them. I want to talk about Philadelphia, the Dallas situation, Tyrone Smith. We saw what Atlanta's defense did to Dallas. Do you feel like, and Philadelphia is the top 10D.
The last I've heard, Jerry Jones's quote on Tyrone Smith this week, as I hope so. He's not practicing on Wednesday. They say he has a better chance to play than Sean Lee does for that team. But it's not a guarantee he plays. Now, Chas Green is probably not going to be there. But the Pounce Rush in Philadelphia, the opportunity without Ezekiel Elliott, I like Philadelphia, I like Kansas City. If Tyrone Smith is out for Dallas, Philadelphia will be.
They'll be a sensational play. What other defenses do you like this week? Baltimore takes on Green Bay if they're available after their by week. Houston at Arizona. I think Houston's an upside play. You've got Blaine Gabbard likely starting. Arizona doesn't offer you a ton offensively if they can shut down, which they've generally shut down the running game. Last week was an exception. But if they shut down Adrian Peterson, we see how Arizona can't score. You got to check out the Bengals. They get to play.
The Broncos, and they're very low-owned. I would be very interested in that play as well. Full stream ahead. All right, full stream ahead. We're looking for a quarterback streaming option. Somebody can sign off the waiver wire, roll out there. He had some players last week that were home runs in that department. If you could get Jared Gough last week, it worked out for you. If you could play a guy like C.J. Bethard, he had a monster game. Kurt Cousins had a big game. Let's look at this week.
There are several options out there. Case Keenum was another player you could have streamed last week. And Jason looks like you're going with him again this week. I am going with him again this week. Give me the case. Now, for case. Sure. Case Keenum is a guy that you can't bank on one performance leading into the next. So originally I was going to throw a little bit of caution because.
You know, earlier in this season, week three against Tampa Bay, he threw for 369 yards, three touchdowns. Oh, Case Keenum, he's so great. And then the next week, Detroit seems like a good matchup, 219 yards, no touchdowns. So, you know, that's why he's on the waivers is because he's not this locked and loaded guarantee. But the L.A. Rams are going to score even on this Minnesota defense. This is in Minnesota, which is good for Case Keenum.
especially good for weather coming up this week. You're in a dome. So I don't have to worry about weather. I'm at home, and I'm probably going to have to keep up with scoring against the L.A. Rams. I just like that combination case Keenham should be able to get it done. I would also not underestimate the return of Stefan Diggs to the lineup and making that baseline a little higher for Keenum. It's not just Thielen or Rudolph or McKinnon. You've got Diggs threatening downfield now. The week three matchup.
where he was awesome and threw for 369 and 3. Well, that was when Diggs was the number one wide receiver in fantasy that week. And then you lost Diggs after that. So the Diggs, Thielen, McKinnon, Kyle Rudolph, Case Keenham has enough weapons at home in a dome to get it done. Okay. Like that. At home in a dome. Eli. Nicely done. I'm going with Eli Manning. Eli's coming. Look, Kansas City's getting whipped.
They're getting whooped by fantasy quarterbacks. I'm not calling for a 404 case Keenham type of game. I'm just calling for 250 and 2, which is what Eli's been able to do. You've got Sterling Shepard back involved, Evan Ingram. I think Eli, I think he's safe against Kansas City. They should be, they're going to be losing that game. So I'm going to go. I got a question for you guys after this segment, by that. All right. In the name I'm going to throw out there, hopefully he can get a little bit of that beard.
back after he shaved the face like a buffoon get that beard back get some of that magic back ryan fits magic ryan fitzpatrick quarterback for the tampa bay buccaneers gets mike evans back he gets mike evans back he also gets to play against the miami dolphins uh so that's a very beatable matchup dolphins making cam newton look like an mvp again i think that i think it's a great opportunity for fitzpatrick to do it look he did
Last week was bad. Certainly was bad. It was also bad for Josh McCown in that game playing at the same time. And you can go back to a couple weeks when Fitzpatrick came in relief against the Cardinals. 293 touchdowns. He's a fine streamer this week. All right. Those were our streaming quarterback options. I do want to get into the mailbag today, Mike. Clear those pipes out. What about that question? I'm going to save it for the mail. Oh, okay. Mailbag. All right.
We love helping you win in fantasy football. That's kind of the show. That's what we do. If you want to send a question in, go to the website. The Fantasy Footballers.com, click the submit a question button, or you can dial our voicemail hotline 302464 TFFB. We are going to jump into a voicemail. I'm going to give you that question, guys. I know how concerned you are for my team. But I really don't know what to do in this situation. I hope the mailbag is just his question. It's Andy. It's just me. This one comes in from Andy from the undefeated league.
Carson Wins. Oh, I was hoping you recorded a voicemail question of you. Hey guys, big fan of the show. Love everything you do. Really love the host. Carson Wins against Dallas or do I go with Alex Smith at home or I'm sorry, in New York against the Giants. Ooh. It's hard to decide. I really want to stay undefeated. That is a tough question. I also really like that host. Did I mention that? Yes, you did.
Boyce line. Look, both are great. You're talking about, you know, the two best quarterbacks in football and both plus matchups. Now, New York's matchup is great. I mean, their defense is quit or it just appears that they're not playing with, you know, the eyes on the playoffs, obviously. They're not.
going after guys in the open field. Are they going to be able to chase down Tyreek Hill, for instance, when they're giving- Or Zeus 90% effort? So Alex Smith is a great play. But if Sean Lee is out, which he should, it appears he will be for Dallas. He is everything to that defense. And I think the better quarterback is actually Carson wins. That's the way I was leaning next to it. Thanks, Jason.
When did you turn into Michael Jackson? I don't know. Let's go to this next question. This is a voicemail question, and it piggybacks on what Jason was talking about with the cheese matchup. Or maybe it doesn't. Maybe it doesn't. I'm going to just, it's not playing. So does the Chiefs by week count as Tyreek Hill's down week on the Tyree Kil roller coaster? This is the analysis we need.
Yeah, it has to. Really? Yeah, because I'm thinking it's odd and even weeks. It's not games. Okay. I'm saying it counts. And put it this way. It's the New York Giants. What's the verdict, Brooks? Does it count? I'd like to hear from the judge. For the judge? Yeah. Because this is a confusing legal situation. Oh, it counts. Okay. All right. It's a big week coming. Maybe I changed to Alex Smith. And also, if you are new and you don't know what we're talking about, holy moly, Tyree Kil. Read them out.
Yeah, let me pull those up. So Tyree kills games have gone back and forth every single week. There's like a man climbing up. No, it's my ping pong. Right. Ping pong sound effects. We all know. Here's his points and a half point scoring. 24, week one, down to seven. 18 down to five. 15 down to five. 24 down to two. 17.
Two, I don't know. Well, no, he took a zero last year. Oh, zero on the buy. So this is the up week. Very nice. If he had scored on the buy, I'd be off of him this week. Good point. Curtis and San Jose has a question. Marvin Jones or Juju Smith's to rest of the season? Juju. I'm going to go Juju as well. I'm going to go Juju with Goladay getting back in the mix, having multiple receiving options in Detroit. I'm going to go Juju. Yeah, it's, man, that one's tough for me. I'm the slower.
buy-in on juju to have continued success i know he had it you know once again last week but you also saw ntonio brown vanish from the fantasy line uh and marvin jones has been so hot but i mean i guess you got to lean juju at this point because i do agree with the smooth routes coming in and uh
Taking some of that juice from Marvin Jones. Juju, last three games, each of the last three games, he's had a touchdown. Last two weeks, he has a combined, almost a combined 300 yards. I hope he becomes a thing for a long time because the name is just fun. Oh, he's got great juju in that name. Good. Here's a great question, guys. I want to know what you think, especially after the last two weeks. David Horner.
From Twitter says this, guaranteed lock for the playoffs. Should I try to trade DeAndre Hopkins for Michael Crabtree? Ooh. Now, I'm asking this because we were all about Hopkins schedule being tough in the playoffs. But with Savage, he has been good for two consecutive weeks. Right. The target market share has gone up even more. I mean, Watson was all about that Hopkins life. And Tom Savage said, hey, maybe that works. Hold my beer. And we know Savage is starting again this week.
Seems they're pretty committed him mostly because they know they don't have anything else. If you're going to make this move, which I'm still open to it because I do have concerns about the matchups for Hopkins in the playoffs. Jaylon Ramsey and the Jacksonville Jaguars in the semifinals. And then in week 16, the championship week is Pittsburgh. Thank you. So, and we know that the Raiders, we talked about this, they have a, they have plus matchups in the fantasy playoffs, but you have to get more.
You can't say I have the number one wide receiver in fantasy football in DeAnd Hopkins and say, hey, let's just do a swap. No, you upgrade something else as well and to really make it worth it. Yeah, that's a good point. All right, that is it for today's show. Tomorrow, we'll jump into some more mailbag. We got what? Pump the brakes tomorrow, Brooks? Yes, sir. All right. We got pumped the brakes. Some other stuff going on on on the show. Thanks for tuning in. Check out draft.com slash ballers.
