Fantasy Football 2017 - Week 11 Waivers & QB Streamers

I don't think you need you because he's Thursday. Yeah, you just sign somebody on Friday if he doesn't play. You can just bench him out on Thursday. Fair. If you don't want to plan ahead. If you have like a jam-packed roster and you want to take a chance. Sure. All right. Excuse me. I don't have any other news guys. Oh, out of news. Brooks, do you have anything? Nothing. Let's talk some waiver wires. I'm not out of news. Put me in, coach.

The 49ers, Colts, Jets, and Panthers are on by this week, week 11. So, you know, don't start your Cam Newton's and your Marquis Goodwin's. Otherwise, zero points. Yep. All right. Wide receivers. Who are we targeting this week at the wide receiver position? Well, this are just the, you know, the kind of the probably owns. They're almost certainly owned, but you're talking in the 70% on Yahoo.

Just make sure you check for Robbie Anderson, Sterling Shepard, and Robert Woods. Like I said, they're probably gone, but you never know when people drop it like it's hot. According to Yahoo, 30% of leagues around there still have some of these players. So we definitely need to mention them because if we're diving deep and saying, hey, look, you know, maybe you could pick up Jameson Crowder this week and play him. Don't do that if those other names are out there. As far as guys that are.

more widely available out on the waiver wire right now. You know, this is about a 50-50 guy, not someone that is everywhere, but I still believe in Jeremy Macklin. I have this whole season. Sure. He's shown up for every game that Joe Flacco has been the starter for. And I think you could get, I mean, he's got a match up in Green Bay this coming week. And moving forward,

I think Jeremy Macklin will be a weekly guy that the rest of the season in the right matchup you can play. Whereas some of these guys are, you're only looking for this week. Right. I actually agree with that. I think I've been impressed with. Yeah, we won him over. We got him. With the potential of that combination, I think Joe Flacko's been playing, he can play better. And this offense can move the ball.

better than it has. It just needs to be healthy. You're going to get Danny Woodhead back in the mix in the next few weeks. Not expected this week. Okay. But that will help move the offense. And when it comes, push comes to shove down in the red zone, if they can ever get there, I think Macklin's going to be pretty involved. And so I like that take. Do you like him more than a guy like Marquisley rest of the season? Yeah, I do. Just because that's schedule, man. Packers, Houston, Detroit. I mean...

You can play him in all those. Pittsburgh on the road, I probably would not. But then. With Hayden out, maybe it's not a big deal. Possibly. Yeah, certainly. But then Brown's Colts. I mean, that's a pretty. Brown's Colts will be your semifinal and your championship matchup. That's a pretty solid. That's Jeremy Macklin's schedule. As far as Marquise Lee, he has looked like the number one target. Alan Hearns is out, so I do like Marquise Lee. Probably like him even more this week at Cleveland depending on, I know it's really, really early.

But the weather reports scare me right now in Cleveland. Although, come to think of it, it's kind of Cleveland and Green Bay. There is a storm of brewing this week. So maybe look for some dome games. I really like a 0% own player named Bruce Ellington. Yeah. This week at home, Patrick Peterson will be locked up often with DeAndre Hopkins. Will Fuller, hurt. Passing options, not a lot of them.

I think that Bruce Ellington could give you a very surprise game. Now, you're talking deeper leagues, biweek stressful situations. I have a league where I'm looking to start him because I have, you know, a bunch of injuries and players on by, Ty Hilton on by. But Bruce Ellington, if you need a name from nowhere that no one's going to sign, I want them on your radar. Yeah, absolutely. I'll throw out once again, Josh Doxton, although this, I mean, this feels more and more like.

Joe Mix and situation where you just, you're like, okay, this is the week. But if you actually watched what happened in the game, Josh Doxon was wide open for a touchdown on just a simple out route, lost his footing, fell down. No touchdown. Later in the game, he's just running a seam route. Wide open. Wide open to the inside. Kirk Cousins misses him. And I believe there was another play that could have resulted in a touchdown that was simply.

not executed on. So Josh Doxon is getting involved. It was four for 30. He had seven targets, which, I mean, that's a new career high. We're talking snaps 92% for Josh Doxon. Washington is there. They're saying, okay, Doxon is the guy. The connection still hasn't happened, but it feels like we are so close to it happening. I really like Josh Doxon. He is, like you said, Mike, that four for 30 line does not.

speak to his involvement. Watching the film is like, oh, he is seemingly their number one wide receiver. Well, that's what my follow-up was going to be. Xavier Rhodes tracked Doxon, the whole game. So their best, I mean, Minnesota's perspective is Doxon's number one. The targets were still there. He still had a tough matchup. It was just one of those, hey, maybe we're seeing, you know, the combo before the fantasy storm. Hopefully we see some touchdowns out of Doxon. They need to use him.

And they're, I mean, they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for wide receiver options there. If nothing else, he has to play the Saints this week. So that, you know, it's a tougher matchup with the Saints the way they're playing. But then he gets the Giants. Sure. So mark the calendar. Two weeks. Josh Dawson breakout. Well, and the same could be said for another guy that we've been saying to pick up for a while, Corey Davis. This week, he's at Pittsburgh, not the best matchup. And last week, you look.

at his line four for 48 and a fumble. So he didn't have a good fantasy day. But that fumble was an inch away from a touchdown. It was one of those. Oh, the end zone. It was fumbled through the end zone and should have been a touchdown. And if you go, oh, it's four for 49 and a touchdown next week, not this coming week, but next week he's at Pittsburgh more involved in a super talented player. And I apologize because I can't recall the source, but someone had tweeted out,

There has been three times a Tennessee receiver has received double-digit targets. Two of those games are Corey Davis, who has played four games. So clearly they want to get him involved. By far the most well-rounded and talented wide receiver that they have, and he's getting healthier, and he's flashing big playability. You say all these things about a guy like Doxon or Mixon or Davis, but you, the reason we say that, you know, like you're waiting.

At least you were waiting for the potential of something. Like there are so many players that that statement can't be set about, right? Like there's baselines to these players that aren't as athletic or young or, you know, in line for more opportunity. You're kind of looking to mix and match the, you know, that opportunity that you can see there. It's kinetic energy. It's there. And there's one other guy that I would throw out, you know, look, in super deep leagues, maybe you look at.

D.D. Westbrook or Josh Gordon. With Alan Hearns hurt, do you think that D.D. gets activated this week? I don't think that will be based on the Alan Hearn's injury. It's based on D.D. Westbrook's injury. But the guy that I would, speaking of injured guys coming back, the one I would target more than any of them would be Corey Coleman. He's all systems go for week 11. Now,

this is a terrible week because he's playing against Jacksonville. But I would pick him up because I still believe in the talent. I don't know how to feel about him. I really don't. I like the player, but an injured player coming back on Cleveland, I'm just, I don't know how to feel about it. Sure. No, I completely get it. But if you're a team looking for someone that could blow up later in the playoffs, there's just not that many options of guys as talented who could end up with a market share. I mean, he's.

beyond their best wide receiver. They don't have any good options. So, you know, if Kaiser starts coming around, two, three weeks from now, Corey Coleman, who's available and almost on leave. Can I at least grimace when I put in the waiver claim? Absolutely. I think it's required. Okay. Now, the last name, I'll throw out for the wide receiver. Marquis good one continues to have big games. There's only one catch, but it was a monster touchdown. He is on the by week, unfortunately.

And coming out of it's hard. Yeah, coming out of that, he plays Seattle. Are you trying to add Goodwin this week? No. Not if he's coming out playing Seattle. All right. Running back pickups this week, these guys are probably on, you know, Alf, you know Orleans Darkwa, who was heavily involved again.

in that offense for New York. I think Alfa is a drop it like it's hot candidate. You might see other teams drop them. Just saying it's very possible. And for those of you that are new, drop it like it's hot means this was one of our preseason tips. Always look on the waiver wires of not just who was picked up, but more importantly, who was dropped.

Because there might be someone even more valuable than who was available on waivers. And don't just do that on the main waiver day on Wednesday morning, every single day, because there's nothing more infuriating than waking up Saturday or whatever. And Mike, you know, being like, hey, did you see who I got last night? It's like, no. I just hate it. Yeah. I just hate it. It's like, how did I miss? This is the tip we give. Look at who's dropped. Yeah, because, I mean, look, it's that.

It's that sweet drop it like it's hot discipline. It gets you that title and then gets you that ring. And then we don't want to be your friend anymore. There you go. I mean, that's the goal. Lose friends win championships, fantasy championships. I use the head. My friend, yeah, my friends are all those rings and trophies. I just sit and watch movies with them. Because that's what you do with friends. You just watch some of the movie. All right. Running backs. I'm struggling, Brooks. Jamal Williams, to me, is one of the.

clearest pickup candidate. Oh, yeah. The top two guys this week will be Jamal Williams and Somaget P-Rine. Yeah, absolutely. And I think both are basically unowned and both are well deserving of rostering. Even if you didn't start P-Rine this week, even if you just wanted to see what you had in P-Rine this week, if Rob Kelly's going to miss multiple weeks and you got the Giants at home in two weeks, at least you have a flexibility situation in terms of P-Rine.

the running back for the Redskins, Jamal Williams, Packers, and then he could be the starter. He had 20 carries last week, and they're going to need to take pressure off Brett Hunley. I agree that those are the two main pickups. If you need to start. Those are the hot ones. So let's talk between them. What prices would you bid? And in which order? Would you rather have Jamal Williams or would you rather have Somaget P. Rine?
