A player, I think, is outstanding, is talented, deserves more work, got a little bit more work last week, so why am I pumping the brakes on Kenyon Drake's? I had to pluralize, it had to rhyme. The reason Kenyon Drake is my pump the brakes this week is utilization. The same issue that you saw week after week after week before this week.

It still happened this last week. King and Drake got six carries on the ground to Frank Gore's 12. Now, he was far more utilized in the past game. That's excellent. I like seeing that. He had 11 targets, seven receptions, 69 yards through the air and a touchdown. The guy's electric. Can you start him and get the 40-yard breakaway touchdown? Absolutely. But he might have to do that on one of his seven touches.

He's in the game. He's more like Aaron Jones lately, where you can play Aaron Jones. You know that the volume won't be there, but you know that the big play certainly could be there. Sure, sure. And I think that's a good comp because I don't want to start either guy. Like I, you know, I've talked about Aaron Jones. He's the best back there, but I still don't want any running back from the Green Bay Packers. I know Andy, who's not here, has been saying you've got to go get Aaron Jones, believes he's going to come on strong as the year continues. You know.

If they gave either one of those talented running backs the opportunity to be a bell cow, I would, I mean, you're going to win a league with those guys. So I would certainly not get rid of them. They're valuable for your team, but I don't believe that the volume will ever come. If you add to Kenyon Drake's lack of volume, the timeshare he's in with old man Gore, he is infinite. He is all. You add to it that they're facing the bears this week. Bears are number one.

Yeah, Jay Gris is all about that life. The Bears are number one in, you know, fewest fantasy points given up to the running back position in half point PPR. Thanks, John Gruden. You're welcome. So, look, it's not a good matchup for Kenyon Drake. You might look at, you drafted him to be a starter. He goes off for a great game last week. You know, he's a top 10 back. And so you plug him right back in your starting lineup. I'm saying pump the brakes.

If you can continue to have him on the bench, that's where I would place him. I'm going to pump the brakes on the Houston backfield. The Houston running backs, they are taking on Buffalo, a defense that has looked vastly improved over the past few weeks. They held Derek Henry to 11 for 56. To be fair, everyone is holding Derek Henry. That's really true. Dionne Lewis, 12 for 34, but I just took a...

look back of the past four weeks. The only running backs were actually having success. Our quick twitch guys, like Aaron Jones had a big run. Austin Eckler. Melvin Gordon was great for fantasy because of all the touchdowns. But I'm a little bit concerned. Lamar Miller banged up, was active, but he was in the emergency role. Alfred Blue, not very impressive, but got it done through the passing game. If these guys end up splitting, I mean, Lamar Miller has always been a volume play.

Yeah, if you are not going to get the volume from Lamar Miller, I think you're going to be very disappointed. So he's a guy I'm looking at trying to find a different option for. Well, yeah, and he, yeah, exactly. I mean, due to his injury, if he's back, you're probably going to see a split against the Buffalo defense. Look, they've come on strong. You know, a lot of times whenever week one.

Week one, huge events that happen there, they stick with you for the rest of the season. And the way that Buffalo got blown out in the most putrid performance of all time in week one, people are still holding on to that. And that's the defense that Buffalo is. It's not the case. Yeah, the offense we can still hold on to. Oh, you have future. It's not very good. That was pumped the brakes. I'm pumping the brakes on Houston running backs. Jason lamenting the butthole who is control.

signed running back Jamal Charles to a one-year contract. However, it's being reported that T.J. Eldon will remain the guy with Leonard Fournett. That's also because Jamal Charles is old and busted and done for. Are we going to keep it going? I don't think we need to. Adrian Peterson, seeking a second opinion on his strained shoulder, but as Jason you called for, you said he's going to be hurt.

But he will play anyways, and that's what it sounds like. And that means I don't really want Adrian Peterson. I mean, he's a guy that I thought would have a strong beginning of the year because he's got fresh legs. He would never be a full season contributor. If you have Adrian Peterson, I would be looking to trade him to send him out. I should have followed up the Jaguars report that Leonard Fournett is out.

Four week six. He is out. That is already confirmed. The bangles have waived running back Thomas Rawls. Oh, no. You don't say. So wait, hold on. So are you telling me that there could be a running back opportunity for Mark Waldberg? Oh, hey, what? Hey, Mark. You're talking to me? Yeah, buddy. Oh, dude, Mike, this is great news. Thomas Rawls got waved. How do you feel about that? Oh, look, I love Thomas. He was a good guy. We shot some pool. We had a brusky? But it's, you know.

He's got to go. He's got to say hi to his mother for me. I was like, hey, say hi to your mother for me. He's like, hey, good news. I was just cut. I can go say hi. I was like, oh, cool, awesome. I'm going to go play with Joe now. I'm going to play ball with Joe. Joe Mixing and I, we're going to play some football. Say hi to your mother for me. Why can't Thomas say hi to his mom when he's employed by the Cincinnati Bengals? Face to face, man. You got to have human interaction. I don't want, I don't want cell phone. Man, I'm from Boston.

There's going to be, in certain leagues, there's going to be players that underperformed, like Doug Baldwin, who are cut, and you could go, okay, I'm in need, maybe I'll scoop that up, or injured guys. I mean, people, I know in our listener league, someone was complaining that, and hopefully they don't know this by the time that waivers run. Leonard Forden it now has been marked fully out, so you should be able to move them to your IR if you have that. But...

That just happened this morning. Otherwise, you have to drop someone that you don't want to drop unless you're going to drop Leonard Fornett, which of course, don't do that. Fair. But if somebody did, pick them up. I skipped over this piece of news, but I'm actually, I'm going to bring it up because this is just whispers from the bushes. But Josh Reed out of Buffalo, he's from WIVB. He is reporting the Eagles have reached out, quote,

to the bills about acquiring Shady McCoy, the prodigal son returning home. Are we interested in this? Is this happening, Jason? Yeah, you know, it's funny. So we're doing Keep Trade Cut, and I had our slack open to have Brooks add LaShawn McCoy to that section, but we can just talk about it now because... That's an easy keep for me. Well, here's the thing. Here's the thing. I believe that LaShawn McCoy, because the trade rumors are real.

It makes no sense for Buffalo to hold on to Shady. They don't have any purpose to have a 30-year-old running back that's paid decently well. They're in a rebuild. They're playing for the future. They don't need them. They're fine with Marcus Murphy and Chris Ivory. A team will pay up. We'll give draft picks. We'll give pieces that can help build this team for Shady. So my point is, I believe there's a good chance.

as the trade deadline approaches, that LaShawn McCoy has traded. This is a who are you as a fantasy football player moment? Ooh. Are you the one that wants to buy the risk? Or are you the one that wants to sell the risk? Because if he is traded, it's good for LaShawn McCoy. Literally, I don't care where he goes. Like, is there a team? Well, because right now in Buffalo, he's the man. Over 100 yards from scrimmage.
