Somebody's already on his water bat. He's touting them. You know, real good. It's as much an indictment against Ken Wisenhunt as it is a vote of confidence. Can't spell Winston without win. Yeah, you're going to have to learn how this year. All right, let's move on to the Atlanta Falcons. You don't want to talk Mike Evans at all? I don't think we got time to talk Mike Evans. Okay, well, I'll just go through real quick. All right, give me your rundown. Mike Evans, I think. Mike Evans in 60 seconds. He can be an absolute.

monster, super stud elite wide receiver. What's concerning about him is nearly 50% of his production. Production was Weeks 9 through 11. Now, that was two different quarterbacks. It was Glennon and McCown, but he did have eight plus targets in nine games. So I still like Evans. I think he's being overdraft. Isn't that hard to decipher when it's a rookie and they ascend to Weeks 9 and 11 having the best product? Isn't it harder to read?

How good a guy is? Like, is he becoming something later in the season that he will be forever? I said it's the concern. Oh, okay. Yeah. And a lot of touchdowns, obviously. Yeah, well, he had five touchdowns in that three-week span. All right, let's talk Atlanta. A team just replete with fantasy options. Oh, man, I love Atlanta this year. They were already the number five passing offense last year. They were the number eight overall offense in terms of yards. They were pitiful on the ground.

but they scored the 12 most points in the league. They added Justin Hardy, a wide receiver out of the fourth round, and they added Tevin Coleman running back out of the third round. They lost Stephen Jackson and Harry Douglas, so they kind of did a swapsie there for some youth. Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Roddy White, Devante Freeman, Tevin Coleman. Who do you want to talk about first? Because Kyle Shanahan is here. You got to start with Manila ice. Do it.

So Matt Ryan, I didn't realize this. I'll be honest. He was second in the NFL in attempts with 628. That's throwing the ball a lot. Not only did he throw it a lot, but the man was insanely accurate. 66% completion rate. He only had 28 touchdowns. That was the downfall for Matt Ryan last year. He had the most accurate deep ball in the NFL last year.

An interesting stat. And he was among the top 10 in receiving pressure. That's where, so not just the touchdowns, but the problem was the offensive line. It was beautiful. They lost four starters. To injury. To season ending injury. I mean, when you're trying to throw an offensive line together, but just grabbing guys off the street saying, hey, you're playing right guard today. Good luck. And he still threw. And he was. At a high rate. Exactly. And now you're bringing in.

Kay Shy, as Andy alluded to, and Kyle Shanahan, I don't know if people realize this, coached Matt Schaub to a top five fantasy production. Really? Matt Schaub had a top five fantasy production. I do not remember that. Did you know that Matt Schaub led the league in passing yards for what you? Well, Matt Schaub does not remember that. Wait, but wait, did he have, say, I don't know, one star wide receiver? He did. What was his name? Andre Johnson?

Do the Atlanta Falcons have, say, one star wide receiver? I would say they have more than one star, but they have one elite superstar in Julio Jones. Okay, so project Julio a little bit, because we've talked about Kyle Shanahan and the impact he has on bringing out a wide receiver one and the targets the wide receiver one gets. Do you have any numbers for us there, or what are you projecting for Julio for this season? Because he is my number one.

wide receiver in a PPR and number two in a standard. Yeah, no problem with that. And you have him right now, three, in a standard and two in a PBR. And that's what you're seeing everywhere. People believe Julio will come out, and if he stays healthy, be a dominant force in that offense. Let's talk about the running backs then, unless you guys have anything to say about Hulu. No, just the Kyle Shanahan, the specialty is the ex position. That's where Hulio will play.

in that position, Pierre Garsohn led the league in receptions with 113 in 2013. And if you think that Pierre Garsohn is better than Julio Jones, you're crazy. Yes, thank you. You're welcome. So there's not very much to say about Julio Jones. He's going to be great. I'll have one quick, interesting stat on him of the top five guys of Yardage last year, and he was in there.

He played about 150 snaps less than the other top four. Okay, so are we shifting to the running backs? Sure. Because I got a lot to say on that, and I'll try to say it quickly. I believe that this is going to be a run-heavy team. And I think it's going to open up the passing. I think that I have Matt Ryan as my number three quarterback. I actually think the whole offense is going to do well. But with Dan Quinn coming in from Seattle, I think he's going to want.

even if he can't necessarily do it because of the defense that he has right now. He's going to want to focus a little bit on the run. And Kyle Shanahan, the offensive coordinator, has always been great with his running backs, too, not just the wide receivers. I mean, how many running backs has he coached to top fantasy years? Yeah, Steve Slayton, Alfred Morris. Yeah, lots of guys. So here's what's going away from Atlanta right now.

almost 200 carries gone, and Jaquiz Rogers had almost 60. Together, you've got 250 carries that are leaving that backfield, and I expect their overall carries to go up, which means there is such a value here for either Devante Freeman or T.J. Yeldon. What about Tevin Coleman? Yes, that's who I mean. Did they trade for you? Straight up. Taven Coleman and Devante Freeman.

Someone there is going to be very fantasy relevant. It's a matter of who. For me, you have, this is how I think about it. Devante Freeman, he's first in line. And if he's going to be good, he's the guy that you draft. He's got first chance. Opportunity matters. But I just don't think he's that talented. I don't think he is going to be able to be what they want him to be.

And Tevin Coleman, I think, is town. Devante Freeman's the guy that I'm putting my money on, and I have all off-season. And it's not changing for me. In OTAs in many camps, I was reading an article out of the Atlanta Journal Constitution today that said Freeman was a standout in those camps, route running, super impressive, comments from Dan Quinn about his route running and his ability in that area. Obviously, and then also they had a beat writer that came out and said both guys were standouts, Freeman and Coleman.

I don't think Freeman's going to poo-poo the job away completely. I think both guys will share the rock, and I think they both have some unique skill sets to them. I think Freeman is more of a guy that's willing to go and have success between the tackles, or at least be a guy that breaks a defense down a little bit more, where I think Coleman is your home run hitter, and he's your guy that's going to come in with fresh legs, and I don't think they're going to overrun Coleman in his first year. So if I had to bet on one, it's Freeman, but it's close, and I see a lot of people going the other direction.

So for Devante Freeman last year, he got the chance really once where he had a double-digit carry game. And he put up spectacular results. He had 11 carries for 12 yards. That's just, that's spectacular. That's really good, right? One yard per carry. Yep. We can't forget the game against Green Bay, two carries for negative two yards.

The guy is just, he is ready to burst out and be a superstar. Do we need to teach him about sample size, Jason? I will say the two carries. But two carries, you manage negative yards. No, I mean, they were a really good rushing offense. What did you say about their offensive line? They had four guys out? Oh, no, that's cool. Yeah, Stephen Jackson still put up okay numbers. 13 carries. You just quoted me 13 carries from Devante Freeman. I knew that was coming, too.

Okay, well, he's... Give me something else. Give me something about Tevin Coleman. Don't just dog 13 carries from Levante Cray. This stat comes from Fantasy underscore Mansion, who he... On Twitter. I want to live there. Oh. Yeah, I'd love to live in the mansion, too. He loves Tevin Coleman because of this stat. Tevin Coleman ran a sub 4-440, and he produced over 2,000 yards on the ground last year. Now, I can't remember the other running backs that are in this category.

But they are all insane NFL players. Let me ask you this, though. How many yards did he put up for the Falcons last year? Zero. Almost as much as Devante Freeman. Yeah, that's true. So Tavon Coleman has potential. So we need to see what it turns into. And so this is one of those things where preseason football can show you a lot on the field. I would have no problem. If Freeman doesn't look the part, and if Tevin does,

You start to change the way you think about that back to- Because Jason's right with the carry numbers. Dan Quinn has no investment in Devante Freeman. Yeah. It's a matter of who plays better. Yeah, and I agree. But I'm just saying... And it's not one guy's job. He's not... Kevin Coleman is not a 300-carry guy. No, not 300. But I think over 200 is fair. Yeah, we'll see what happens there. Other guys on that team of relevance, I don't think there are too many that we need to talk about. Jacob Tammy's there.

He is. They did their very, very, very best to throw the ball to the tight in last year. And didn't work out. Didn't work out with that Tony Gonzalez. So there could be some value there. Tammy, Tony Mojaki is there. The quick one is Devin Hester, where Harry Douglas is gone. Harry Douglas was 74 targets for them. And Hester had 59 targets last year. So maybe he gets a little bump there.

And I still believe in Roddy White. These other two guys with... I still believe. Boom, boom, boom. No, I believe in him, too. I just don't think that he has a very high ceiling. I really like him. You can easily draft him for your flex position, your third wide receiver, where he's going in some of these drafts. And I would love him there. I think, to me, the comparison is him and Fitzgerald are in the exact same kind of period of their career, except for...

Fitz is coming down off of Hall of Fame type of player, and Roddy's coming down a little lower off of that. But, you know, he could perform. He's the number two there. And there's not a lot of competition. If Roddy White plays all 16 games, he'll have over 1,000 yards. Yeah, yeah, I agree. And he's going to be a possession guy. And he's going in the seventh round right now. A thousand yard receiver in the seventh round. Yeah, he's, it's the case of the Anquan Boldens. Exactly. to be an RB2. Of Isaiah Crowell, Chris Ivory, Rashad Jennings, LaGarrett Blunt, Doug Martin, which of those guys would you feel like has the most potential to be an RB2? Because I'm not excited about any of them, but I know that I need people like that to fill my roster for running back debt. So which of those guys would be the best in a PPR league? Thanks. You guys have any thoughts?

There's only two guys that I actually really like from this list. Please tell me he's Doug Martin. Yeah, and Doug Martin is not one of those guys. No, I like Lageret Blunt. I actually think the more that at the end of the year, I expect that he'll be an R.B2. So I'm the most confident that he'll be an RB2. The problem with a guy like Lageret Blunt is you kind of don't know which games it's going to happen with Belichick and all that. At the end of the year, it's great. I also like Isaiah Crowell.

Yeah, I just wanted to glance at my rankings a little bit, and it's interesting because I have Croyle at 26, and then I have the other three guys, Jennings, Ivory, and Blunt, back to back to back at 31, 32, 33. So you're picking guys from, because when I saw the question, I'm like, I don't really know, but Crowell's at the top of the list for me. The upside to me is Jennings. Yeah. I don't know if my rankings have it finishing, but I'm just, just pure upside would be Jennings to me. That sounds...
