What is going on? It is Thursday. May 21st, 2015, and we are the fantasy footballers. In case they forgot what year it was. Hey, you know what? It is the 2015 fantasy football season. It's beginning. I know. This is Andy Holloway. I'm joined by Mike, the fantasy hitman, right? Hello. And Jay, oh, what? Where did Jason go?

There's no Jason. Jason? Jason. Jason? He is missing today. I'm sorry, folks. We're not really sorry. More hit man all the time. Yeah, you kind of wanted a one-man it, didn't you? We are missing Jason today. He is celebrating his 10-year anniversary. Congratulations. Yeah, congratulations. That's a big deal, man. Well, he's doing that. We're working. We're here. We're slaving away. We're working hard. We got another show for you.

What are we got going on today? We got some fallers. We did risers. Yeah, we'll review that, too, by the way. What goes up must come down. Yeah, we talked on Tuesday, if you didn't listen, about some guys that we see moving up the board, good values, guys we like. We'll go over those again real quick. And then we've got four or five guys we picked out that are kind of dropping down our boards that we're worried about. Would that be fair to say? That would be absolutely fair. Yeah, so let me, and then we'll get, we got a bunch of mailbag questions again. So we're going to get to those.

Got to answer the questions from the fans. Let me ask you this. What in the world is going to happen now that the extra point has been moved back? Is this the end of the NFL? No. And I've actually read that after this year, it could move back 10 yards even before. What? What? Oh, further back. Oh, I thought you were saying they'd revert. No, no, no. Make the kick even harder. Is this just to instill the two-point conversion? It's.

It adds excitement, and people are, oh, we weren't asking for this. You know what? I think it's awesome. Oh, you do? I do. Yeah, we're changing the game, but you're making it more exciting. You're making this 99% conversion of a play where people don't even care. Now it's exciting. Here's what I told, I was talking to Jason earlier today, and here's what I told him, I said, everyone's going to think it's exciting.

until your team goes on an eight-minute drive, 90-yard drive at the end of the game to score the tying touchdown asterix. And then, you know, Jay Feely comes out on the field. Shanks is 30-yarder, or whatever, what is it going to be now? 33-yarder. It used to be a 19-yarder, almost guaranteed. He's going to shank the 33-yarder, and the air is going to come out of your sails, and you're just going to go, oh. Yeah, that will be absolutely brutal.

The second thought that I had right away, I was like, holy crap, how many extra points to Sam Bradford get this year? You know Chip Kelly's going for two. A lot more than other guys. And that's really the question, right? What does this mean for our fantasy leagues? I think it has an actual noticeable effect to San Bradford's stats. Wow. Because I saw some numbers where they were, when you break down actual percentages, because now the kick is about a 91 completion rate. Yeah.

I saw those numbers, too. You're talking about where they say it might be more beneficial for you to try. Expected point return to go for two. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if I buy those numbers, though, because... I know numbers, they're weird. Facts. No, let me tell you why. Here's why. Because some teams are going to be more predisposed to succeed in goal line situations and some aren't. So every time you go for a two-point conversion, it's not like...

It's not like it's guarantee that you're going to hit it 50% of the time. You just go in with a 47% shot every single time. So I don't know how many teams are going to do it more than the extra point. I bet Chip Kelly does it a lot. I do agree with that. And that's two points. I mean, that's a big deal for a quarterback. What about other running quarterbacks in that situation, whether it's Kaepernet, Cam Newton? I mean...

Give them the two-yard line and a chance to get two. Do they try it a little bit more? Yeah, I just don't know. I mean, I guess they call him Riverboat Ron, so maybe he's willing to throw the dice and go for two. The other thing we talked about is the fact that, you know, in some degree, this makes kickers more strategic, doesn't it? Possibly, because you don't get that free points. I'm drafting Goskowski in the first this year. Okay, no, I'm not. But.

If you've got a good kicker that's going to make his extra points. But now you've got to, oh, are they going to go for two? Or they're not going to give him the extra points? I don't know. You need field goals from a kicker anyways. Jason's always complaining that, you know, kickers, who cares? Maybe you care now. A little more than I did yesterday. Yeah, fair enough. not the bachelors, but the eligible ones. Yes. And then based off of things like if they kiss, if they say a certain phrase, if they cry, you get points. And it is just spectacular. If you're watching it to be a supportive partner, it makes them much more enjoyable. I remember when you first started doing this, I was dying laughing. When you're talking about the difference between a tear going down in the face or just welling up in the eye and how many points you get, if they cry, it must come out. Now they came out, you know, what his agent, yeah, his agent came out and said, oh, he doesn't need surgery, does he? And obviously that matters, right, Amari Cooper? Yeah. Issues there, that offense in general. I can't, who's, is Shob's not still there, is he? I don't think so. We need to look at that. Our Oakland Raiders research is. Yeah, who cares? Check that real quick. But, yeah, I think Shob's gone and, no, huge impact.

because you were hoping the rapport between Derek Carr and Amari Cooper would get started on the right foot. So keep an eye out. I think he'll be back. I think he'll be okay. Even if he has to have surgery, he'll probably be okay. Another bit of news. Oh, it's Christian Ponder. Oh, that's right. I forgot. Okay, so definitely pay attention to that. I was thinking back, though, Ponder made Percy Harvin okay for about a year. Yeah. Yeah, he was, yeah.

Christian Ponton. That's all I got. He's there. I was having a debate. This next piece of news, the Philadelphia Inquirer expects Ryan Matthews carry count to be in the mid-100s this season. I'll tell you one guy I'm rising on right now is DeMarco Murray. Thank you. Big time. Welcome. Welcome. I started breaking down the numbers. Now, see, people want to say, he's not going to get 390 carries. No, he's not. He's not going to get 390 carries. Doesn't matter. But Philadelphia was the seventh.

highest rushing team last year. If you take their total last year, I think they ran it 475 times. So the Inquirer thinks Matthews gets 100, right? Mid-100. So I'll give him 125 carries. Give Sproles 50, like he had last year, which might be generous this year. That still leaves a ton of carry. I'm projecting DeMarco around 290. Really? I am. See, I think he'll be more in the 250 range. So if he's in 250, then...

You're still talking about then that'd be, what, 150 for Matthews another 70 for Sproul? I mean, if they get to 470, they want to run. They've got better runners now. I just, I don't see how you get a guy with Ryan Matthews talent to run to Markhamarie into the ground when you gave him a truckload of cash. You take 100 carries off. Is that running him into the ground? No, but that's what I mean, where I see him at 250. I think I'm hearing a lot of people. I got them 260 to 290. Yeah. So either way, I'm rising on him because that offense is going to move. And Ryan Matthews.
