Oh, I hate when I do that. Yeah, I know all the time. After your three by three, you go pump a few. Pump one, tear the muscle, go home. Sideline five months.

This is not what you want for that offensive line because they were trying to shore that up for Eli Manning. We're pumped about that offense. Now, they do have a first round draft pick, Eric Flowers. They have strengthened that line around, Betty, but I'm, you know, we saw this last year, right? Matt Ryan? Right. What happened when his left tackle went down? They had a plague in Atlanta. And what happens when Eli Manning gets pressure? That dude likes to throw the picks.

He's been known to do that from time to time. I wasn't excited about that. I mean, this is that time of year you start to see these reports come in. Guys getting hurt. They impact it has on an offense. So not good. What about this report? Gino Smith will probably be the starter. Week one out of Jets camp. No quarterback competition, according to Chan Gale. Probably. There's no competition, and he'll probably start. I think it's the right move for the organization that you have to.

Give Gino Smith some confidence. Say you back him. Let him go. If he falls on his face again, then you pull the plug. You put Fitzmagic in there. Yeah, I think this is kind of more of a ploy, right? Because Fitzpatrick is recovering. Right. So there's no competition when you're recovering from an injury. So give Gino all the con. You didn't realize that? I hadn't connected those dots. Yeah. I mean, there'll be no competition because our backup is hurt. Yeah.

I think it's perfect, though. Give him some confidence. And then if he fails, Fitzpatrick comes in and, you know, if Gino doesn't succeed with Marshall and Decker and, you know, their new draft pick. Well, I don't know if people remember the last game of the season when the Jets played Miami and Gino Smith just lit it up with 200 plus yards, three touchdowns, really high completion percentage. That's all.

No, Miami was a good defense and who knows. They lost a lot of games close last year despite his play. Yes. And they've gotten a lot better. They got Revis. They've got Todd Bowles at the helm, making that defense so much stronger. So they'll hand the ball off a lot. That's probably true too. But yeah, that was kind of interesting news. And then the last bit I thought I'd throw in here.

is the fact that Justin Smith retired, which just makes the San Francisco 49ers offseason all the worst because they've already lost Chris Borland to early retirement, Patrick Willis to surprise retirement, and now they lose Justin Smith. So what does this impact have? I mean, we're not mentioning that so you don't draft the San Francisco defense. Why are we mentioning that? I assume you're talking about offense that they need to counteract their lustrous list.

defense with some more points. Yeah, I just think it's going to change the dynamic of that team a little bit. It might, when you, you don't have Frank Gore anymore, who was a workhorse, 64 consecutive starts for that team at the running back position. That's not bad. You bring in Carlos Hyde, which, okay, he could be good, but if that team's down and has to throw more, if that team's defense isn't as strong, I don't know if the ground impound is going to be as successful or part of the game plan for San Francisco. Ridgey Bush. Hey, I've been singing his praises. Yeah. Give it to the veteran.

Some guys are shifting around. Last week we talked about, or on Tuesday, we talked about risers. We liked a couple of rookies, Rashad Perryman. Oh, man, that segment was fun.

Dude, I listened to that. Someone was talking about it. I listened to it again. I was cracking up. Schlaughter to the league. All right. TJ Yeldin, we like T.J. Yelden a little bit. Arrow pointing up. Sam Bradford, still the quarterback of a potent offense. And now two-point conversions. Yeah, even more. And then Isaiah Crowell was a guy we liked. And so let's talk about some guys we don't like. Bishop Sanky. Yeah. Ouch.

Yeah, Bishop Sanky. So people were very excited for Sanky to come into the Titans offense. Number one rookie off the board in most drafts last year at the running back position. And he rewarded them with 152 carries for 569 yards and two touchdowns. A 3.7 yard per carry average. And I didn't look this stat up, but he made no place. Like out of that 152, I mean, there were.

No really impactful big plays for Sanky. He had a couple big runs, which I wanted to talk about, where week six, that was his first real workload. Because if you remember, there was problems with his footwork. Yeah. Apparently, step, step, step was too much for Bishop Sanky. And so he got, in week six, he played Jacksonville. He went 18 for 61.

3.4 yards per carrying. That includes a 22-yard run. He patted his stats with a 22-yard run and still ended with 61 yards. That is brutal. So in double-digit carry games, he had eight of those. Only twice was he over 4 yards per carry. And both of those games were only 10 carry games. So we're talking to a guy who if he gets volume, he is not producing, the suck threshold of 4 yards. He's just not doing it. The Titans.

have gone all out on their offense. This draft with Mariotto, Domorari Gato. You're still making fun of Roger Goodell for that? For life, man. Yeah. That one never dies. Yeah, they do have a different offense now. Does that help? Well, it helps David Cobb. That's right. Who they drafted. Now, he had some interesting things about David Cobb. You, you're killing me over here with your, with your, you. Sorry, sorry. Focus. Focus.

The train. You're okay. I'm back. I'm just looking something. I wanted to see what the ADP on Sankey is right now. So David Cobb against Ohio State. Now, I don't know if you remember Ohio State. They did something pretty noteworthy last year. Yeah? Like winning the whole thing. So David Cobb, 145 yards and three touchdowns against Ohio State, who was a pretty good run defense. The highly touted Melvin Gordon.

76 yards, 2.9 yards per carry. T.J. Eldon, 47 yards. Against Ohio State. Yeah. Yeah. And David Cobb against Michigan, who was the ninth best run defense at the time, 32 for 183. David Cobb is not a slouch. No, and right now, Sanky's going into the eighth round, and Cobb's undrafted in most leagues. What? Yeah. So. Oh, come on.

I think we're saying go after the upside because what we saw in the field from Sankey last year was disappointing at best. And despite the change in offense, you know, they're going to play production there. Wisnhunt's going to play production. Unfortunately, he doesn't know how to draft running backs very well. So who knows with Cobb. And he does have a thing against rookies. And it still is possible that Sankey can redeem himself and come back. But his sample size that he gave was,

large enough that I feel I can poo-poo him? Well, those numbers are T-rich-esque, where a 22-yard run is a career high. Oh, I don't know what his career high is. Who? Sanky. I don't know. I just remember watching him last year, and those are the type of numbers we saw. So another follower we have on our list, he's a guy we talked about today. He's at the top of the tight end boards right now. Martellus Bennett.

So we have some concern about Martellus Bennett repeating what he did last year. There's plenty of things, but what do you have on Martellus Bennett? Well, Martellus Bennett, first off, sounds like he doesn't really want to be in Chicago anymore. A lot of trade rumors. Is he asking for an extension? Is that what's going on? Right. So he wants more money. Chicago was trying to trade him. They were unable to do it.

And so I went and I took, I was trying to look at some numbers of different things like John Fox teams. Did those teams target a tight end? Jay Cutler, when he didn't have Tresman, did he target the tied end? So here's, and here's what I came up with. John Fox from 2011 to 2006, he, I didn't average, dang it. But he averaged around, let me do it real quick, basically around 40 targets.

for his tight end, except for in 2007 when Jeff King had 80, which is, when you look at the numbers, it's a complete anomaly compared to 31, 34, 48. It just doesn't, that doesn't add up. Now, it's not just him, oh. Well, I, go ahead. Go ahead. It's not just John Fox's team. It's also Adam Gase, but we don't have a lot of data on Adam Gase, especially when you have, when you factor in, because he came over from Denver. He went with John Fox. And it's hard to,

really get into his numbers, because he had Peyton Manning, first of all, who is the real offensive coordinator of any team that he's on, and they had Julius Thomas, who is a super stud. Yeah, and it's not that I think Bennett will fall off the map if he plays there. It's just that there's a large number of variables that are in play for him this year. For one, that offense has changed completely, like you said. John Fox comes in, trustman leaves. A lot of Bennett's...

action last year that I saw had to do with high quantity of throws, limited amount of targets in Chicago. You had a number of games that Brandon Marshall was either super hurt or barely playing, basically, or was out. And your targets were Forte, they were Bennett, and it was Jeffrey. This year you bring in Kevin White, you bring in Eddie Royal, you bring in Jaquiz Rogers to go with Forte, and you have Jeffrey, and you have a different offensive scheme. And I just think the quantity of targets

And reproducing that, you know, he's the sixth tied in off the board right now. I'd move him down a little bit. Yeah, and Cutler. Some people are taking him higher, though, even, you know. Right. Three, four, five range. Four or five, not three. Those top three are generally Kelsey, Jimmy, and Grancowski. Yeah. Which, I mean, it makes sense if you look at his past two years. But I'd take Greg Olson over him. I think I would too. I would take.

I would take Julius Thomas in Jacksonville over Martell's Bennett right now. No. I'd take Gates. I'd take Ertz. I would take a number of guys over Bennett. Yeah, they're just, I think what we're saying is to have caution with Martellus Bennett. You cannot expect last year's volume with the new system. And now with Kevin White trying to soak up, even though it's Brandon Marshall to Kevin White, but.

I'm not sure that Bennett's going to get anywhere close to what he got last year. And just so we disclaimed the same way we did last week. Just because we put him on a riser list last week didn't mean we think that the best players in the league. It means we think that they're a good value. And here it's the inverse, right? We think these guys, okay, Martel's Bennett still going to have production. We don't think he's going to be a good value where he's drafted anymore. Same with Sankey. Why draft Sankey with that production, that high of a pick when David Cobb is waiting in the wings? We're worried about that. There's concern.

Any other thoughts on Bennett? Okay, so Andre Ellington is the next name on our list, which pains me in a way because we're hometown guys. We like the Cardinals. He's our boy. Yeah, and he's a great player. But man, he could not hold up to the workload last year. No. And the Cardinals, while they get Palmer back, which should improve the offense, they drafted a guy. And his name's David Johnson. And they drafted him in the third round. And they drafted him in the third round. And they recognized that Ellington, while he's going to come back, is not...
