Mike is fine. Mike is well and he is fine and he's got some family stuff going on. Some people asking if he was okay yesterday because he didn't do Sunday live. I can promise you, Mike, he regrets not being able to be with you this week. Yes. He very much wants to be here. He's got family stuff going on. Yeah. So we're here with you and we've put in a cardboard bear in his place. What more do you want? That should be, people should be more thankful. I don't want.

to disparage Mike, but I feel like it's an upgrade. Like, not, not in the show entertainment, because he doesn't say much. No. But just in like, you know, our job this week. Aesthetically? The cardboard bear looks like he has a home. And ever since Mike shaved the beard down, I mean. Need more fur around. Need more fur. Yeah. All right. We have a pretty important show today. We're going into championship weekend. We're talking waivers. We've got news to talk about.

We have discussions on quarterback streaming option, non-pluralized, and then some defensive streamers, which really is a humongous part of this week. And a lot of your decision-making is not the same this week as it would be the regular season. I mean, you're no longer making decisions on the long term. You're probably...

free to cut like 90% of any handcuffed type of options this one to go play defense against your opponent. You are free to cut all handcuffs unless the current starter is somewhat injured, you know? Perfectly set. That's it. Otherwise, you don't need to hold them. You're not rostering them for the future. You are playing for this week. You don't need to hold a tight end.

that you're not going to play this week unless you are keeping them away from your opponent in the championship matchup. And there are nuances this week, nuances with certain teams. And so we'll get into all that. But I mean, waivers win championships. They do through the year and they do this week. Like every single championship year, there are waiver wires that make a difference. And we going to get into it today. Yeah. And to.

echo that point. You also, well, like Dionne Lewis would be an example. You don't cut Dionne Lewis because you don't, you know, Derek Henry's missed some time. This is on the handcuff discussion. The other part is you don't do yourself any favors if you end up like being loyal to a player that helped you in week six that's on your roster and you're like, man, I got to the title game because of this player and then I'm going to play him out of loyalty now. That's not how you win a title. You just got to do what you've been doing, which is making smart decisions based on the information you have.

which right now means you're not loyal to guys that, you know, stink now. Right. Tavin Coleman. Perfect example. Taven Coleman, a guy that is the, you know, honorary starter. He's still got the first snaps. I believe this last week. He is an honorary starter for a good running team. You're not going to play him. So cut him. I mean, it's that simple. Now, if you are in a week 17 championship, these things change a little bit.

But not by much. Like even with Kevin Coleman, I don't, you know, I'm not worried about my opponent playing him. There are certain guys like that where I'd be like, sure, please scoop them up and play them against me. All right. Before we kick things off, I do want to let people know. If you want to understand what we do, we're a year-round fantasy football show, which means our content, it keeps coming on into January past the championship season. We've got truth episodes.

That's kind of the first piece of the offseason, right? And explain that for me. Yeah, so people love these episodes. It's really helpful to exit the season and take a look at what the truth of these players are as far as how they helped or did not help you win games in fantasy. Because you look at the end of the season and you say, oh, this guy was the wide receiver 12. He was a good pick.

That's not always the case. That's very much not true. And we take a look at which guys were actually consistent, which guys exploded for three monster games but sucked the rest of the year and the reasons why. You know, it's like, okay, did this person really come on? Anthony Miller has been a beast over the last month. Now, we have to have context to that. Is that because Taylor Gabriel's been out and that's it?

Or is it because he leveled up? So we really take a look at all the players. So that's a great series. That'll be coming a couple weeks after the season is over. I'm working on that data right now. And we also have the footie awards. The footie awards are coming. The footies. And you guys vote for those tons of different categories? So not only will you vote, but we are. So Fookland, we need your help right now. We're going to post Brooks post on social media thread for the best nicknames of the year.

And best show moments of the year and anything else that we've got for our footy awards. Because we don't remember anything. No, no, no. Literally nothing. My favorite nickname this year? I have no idea. I don't remember. Well, we've done a few shows. That's why. We're kind of running to the end of the year here. We've done a few hundred thousand shows by my recollection. That is factually accurate. The math checks out. Checks out. Yeah. And so those are coming up as well.

It was really more of an exhibition of Drew Brees. Well, it was one all-time great quarterback against one of the worst quarterbacking performances I can remember.

That's the way I looked at that game. Because Brissette, who has been okay, and I don't know what's going on with your face. What's going on with my face? Is how Good Breeze was? 29 for 30? You didn't realize that? They talked about it the whole game. Do you think I listened to Booger? I had that thing on mute. No, he was unbelievable. He actually set the NFL record in the game where he set the record for the most all-time passing touchdowns. He also set the record.

for the highest completion percentage in a game. Took it over from Philip Rivers, which I was ecstatic about because he deserves nothing. No records. Oh, no. 29 for 30307 and 4. I think this was an absorption situation where Breeze took whatever Brissette had. Oh, took some powers. And he just said, those are mine and you're left with nothing. Because Brissette was, I think Brissette's an okay quarterback. I don't think he's a bad quarterback. But he was straight up hot garbage. He was overthrowing.

every i mean wide wide you know andrew luck was trending on on twitter oh i don't doubt it yeah there were there were beckonings from the colts fans for a return next season you saw frank rike also is writing him a letter today you saw wide receivers bowing their heads rolling their eyes dropping their hands in like what am i so i'm out here running a route what am i i'm doing my job yeah

Alvin Camara, overall, another disappointing performance on the ground. 14 for 66, didn't get into the end zone. And Latavis Murray was involved early and often. Alvin Canara still out snapped him, 14 to 9 as far as carries. But early on in the game, I mean, it was like, oh, Latavius Murray's in, and he's looking just as good, if not better than Camara, on some of those runs. I think the negative story of the night.

outside of Berset, which nobody was really starting, is Marlon Mack. I mean, Marlon Mack, I mean, 11 for 19. It was awful. End of story. I mean, I had a person send me a note yesterday. They were going into the night. They needed two points for Marlon Mac. Their buddy, who was trolling them, as is the way in fantasy football, made the joke to him before the game began. I bet he gets 19 yards.

He got 19 yards and he lost. The sooths here. So, Marlon Mack, I mean. I'll bet he, I'll bet that buddy was sweating when the last second garbage time really unnecessary and stupid pass interference call on Jack Doyle put them out the goal line. And you're like, oh, maybe Marlon Mack is going to get his fantasy game saved and Jordan Wilkins runs right in for a one yard touchdown. Yeah. And then really, really was proud of it.

No, he was, he was real proud of that touch. I don't feel like he celebrated that much. No, he just, I thought he gave the Garnett, the Kevin Garnett kind of the look. The, once he got into the end zone. I couldn't see his jaw to see if, because Garnett does the light, the underbite, the mean underbite. You see he's in a movie? Garnett? Yeah. Well, that's a bad movie. With Adam Sandler. And it's not a comedy. It's like a real, it's like a serious drama. Count me out. Moving on.

It's an important game, but he went out with the shoulder again. He's hurt fantasy owners twice now with the midgame injury. It is the biggest injury of the week. It's the one we're going to be monitoring. You just brought it up. It's Monday night football. That is terrible. If you don't have a pivot option, it's going to be really rough. And it's rough because the pivot option is.

maybe someone you might have to pivot off to to another option. So when it comes to Dalvin Cook, you have conflicting reports. Mike Zimmer is saying, yeah, it feels good today. He's pretty much going to be good to go. Adam Schefter coming out during the Monday night football game and saying he'd be surprised if Dalvin Cook plays again in the regular season. Look, the Vikings have to win. That is the truth. I mean, if they were had clenched, I would not be counting on Dalvin Cook at all.

Yeah, but I mean, the Vikings have two difficult games. I believe it's the Packers and the Bears left. And if the Rams win their games, which are easier other than the Niners, then they get the playoff spot. So that's interesting. Now, I had said yesterday it was the same shoulder that he had reaggravated, that he got surgery on in college. It is not. It is the other shoulder, which means he no longer has new shoulders to injure.

He doesn't have any left. He has no uninjured shoulders left. Two for two. Two for two, he was going. He's well done. And I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. I think it's a good thing. I think it probably is, but like you have to imagine. Is there a way to run without putting your shoulders forward? Do you think there was too much pressure on him? You know, the weight upon his shoulders? Oh, okay. No, I, yeah, and probably. Yeah. Okay. So we'll pay attention to that. No rim shot there?

I don't want to make the effort. More cricket. By the way, Josh Gordon. Josh Gordon has been suspended for the fifth time. Super sad. You know, look. It's over for Josh. Oh, it is over. There's, I mean, whether it should be or shouldn't be, that's not the question. The question is.
