Yeah, I know. So Carlos Hyde is on this list, but he's not a guy I'm looking at. He's got MRI gumming on his ankle back. Yeah, because he was actually a double injury. We just talked about the back, but he got all mangled up in there. Yeah, both are very, you know, he and Gore are super uncertain for this upcoming week, so keep watching the reports, but I don't think Hyde's going to play.

118 passagesYeah, I don't really have a... I don't have a sense on it yet. Okay. Charles Johnson, Charles Bigbird Johnson. Have you seen that guy's here? Yeah. It is amazing. Yeah, and he had another good game. Yeah. He's the premier number one for Mr. Bridgewater. For Minnesota. I like... I suppose I like him if you are in need of a wide receiver. So Lance Dunbar is also on the list. He's the other running back in Dallas. He'll...
most likely get the passing down work. Dallas takes on the Colts. So here's something that I would factor into my decision if I'm going to go Randall or Dunbar, if let's say they're both available. It's very possible that Dallas is playing catch up in this game because Andrew Luck has been a monster all year. Now he kind of was just halfway decent last week. But the...
The Colts usually pile up the points. If Dallas has to catch up at all, it might be Dunbar in there. Do you have any thoughts on that? Yeah, they definitely trust Dunbar. And I think you've got that situation where, yeah, if they're ahead and they need to grind out the clock, it's going to be Randall between the tackles. Right. And like you said, probably if the game's competitive or they're behind, you're going to see at a minimum a split with Dunbar. And Dunbar has some juice.
So if DeMarco's out, yeah, he's, you know, sneaky play. A difficult thing is not just only playing the matchup, but in your head trying to guess what the game flow is going to be. It's kind of, it's like Pierre Thomas and Ingram. Right. You know, in this type of situation. Let's see. Harry Douglas, of course. This list is filled with handcuffs, so does, you know. Douglas. If Julio is out, fire up Douglas again. He always produces when one of the big guys is out.
in Atlanta. An interesting guy. He's back. Toby. Toby. Yeah, I... Here, Toby. Toby. Yeah, Toby. Yeah, Donard Robinson's on the IR. Toby finally looks healthy. Ish. Yeah. Even as healthy as a Jacksonville running down. What's unfortunate for Toby is everyone has piled on him for probably his whole career. And he finally had an opportunity. And he got what looked
in the first game it looked like he might be out like when he got a really really bad horse collar tackle and his ankle got stuck underneath him and he's tried to grid it out but clearly has been hobbled because he's starting to flash a little bit now he plays Thursday night yeah so if you want him grab him you're going all in on Toby which we're going to talk I'm going to talk about Toby a little bit later in the show there you go let's
run through this list. Alfonzo Smith, there he is. He's on the list. Who could actually be the sneakiest play? Because both of those guys are very questionable. Right. I also think Cecil Shorts is a guy that, if Henny starts, they have a good rapport. And I believe Henny is starting. Oh, we didn't even... No, it's not done. It's not done? It could be coach speed because it's an early game, but they said Bortles is not rolled out. Yeah, we didn't go over him in the injury. I missed him. By bad.
We try to stay fantasy relevant. Here's a guy really like Nate Washington. Nasty Nate is getting it done again. Yeah, I mean, he's got skill and he's performed. He's actually like in the top 20 over the last five weeks and performed well again, PPR-wise, this past week. And, you know, Kendall Wright, I don't think he's going to play again. And Justin Hunter's out for the year. So there's just limited options in Tennessee and Jacksonville can be beat. So I don't think Washington's the worst play if you're stuck. Matt.
Asiata. This guy will not go away. I wish he would. I wish he would. Because he's a guy that, does anybody have a big smile and grin on their face when they start mad Aziata? Or do they just go, oh, crap. When he produces, you look like the smartest guy in the room. When he has this three touchdown game, every eight games? Anybody else on this list that's really kind of jumping out? Yeah, I will go Homer for one second here. And talk about Kerwin Williams.
Now, I'm going to bring this to you with a firsthand observation. I was lucky enough to attend the St. Louis game with my father. And I would say, Kerwin Williams, he passes an eye test. With quickness? Yes. His initial burst is very good. And. Average in about five a carry so far since he's come in? And the.
Our first, our, sorry, Arizona's first run pick from a couple years ago, Cooper, Jonathan Cooper, has finally made his way back into the starting lineup after an injury to one of our guards or to our left guard. And since that happened, all of a sudden, we can run the ball the past two games. Can be tough against Seattle at home. This is where it was say. I thought the Chiefs game was just the Chiefs can't stop the run. But Kerwin Williams.
looked pretty good against the St. Louis Rams who were coming in nuclear hot, and their specialty is stopping the run. You'll probably bring up the fact San Francisco ran against Seattle pretty well last week. Right. And we're not going to have Lindley throwing the ball every play. And that's exactly the point, is he's going to get carries. The old line seems to have found some kind of magic. They're at home, so if you are in desperate need of a running back,
Yep. Curwin Williams, you can probably do worse than him. What are you shaking your head at over there? I just saw some news come across on Jonathan Cooper. Oh, no. Are you serious? Yeah, with a wrist injury. Oh. Scratch everything I just said. Something between a break and a sprain. Are you kidding me? No, that really sucks. Sorry to blow up your Curlin Williams type. One last name I want to mention is just Malcolm Floyd.
If San Francisco is kind of given up on this season, you might see, and, you know, San Diego has not, maybe Malcolm Floyd without. Malcolm Floyd is like that, the C-list celebrity, an actor or actress, that you don't know their name, but they just keep showing up in movies. Yeah. And you're like, wait, I know that person. And the occasional commercial. And because no one talks about him, but he just scores. You're not really super excited about if you're starting, but you're.
You know, he is what he is. He's Malcolm Floyd. He's Malcolm Floyd. Malcolm in the middle. So let's get away from the sad Jonathan Cooper News for us Arizona fans and move it on down the road. Starts of the week. Yeah! Did pretty good last week. We did. A little hit and a miss. I will go on the record. I will throw myself to the feet.
for forgiveness from the public. Yeah. As I was on bad, bro. I was on the Johnny Football Bandwagon. Like a lot of other fantasy experts. Now, I was on it because I thought his floor was going to be raised from running, which he did nothing of that. But I hit pretty good. I'm some other ones. Eric Decker, Pierre Thomas, Panthers. Pierre Thomas looked real good. I think they figured some stuff out last night as just a...
quickly rant on the Saints because they have a lot of fantasy relevant players. Colston, Breeze, Graham, Ingram, some people with Thomas, things like that. I stills, I just think they figured some things out about their offense last night, and they got a little bit back to their roots of what they were with Darren Sprouls and Thomas. Yeah, they just have not paid attention to it. And so I was really impressed. I felt like, you know, Breeze was on his game. So if you have, I don't know, let's say,
Drew Breeze and Jimmy Graham heading into your championship week. You should be in pretty good shake. Yeah. So let's get into the starts of the week. Who do you got here at the top of your list? At quarterback. So before we get into these starts, because these are, I'm trying to find outliers. Yeah, people who I think have a chance for success if you are desperate. I would say that the nice thing about these is.
We were just talking about this today. These are also really good because we don't, we're not going to come out and say, okay, Aaron Rogers is your start of the week. Ooh, you know, Peyton Manning. If I would have said that last week, I would have like an idiot. It's true. But the reality is, is we want to point out guys that are kind of at the middle tier of the kind of the scoring rules. We think are going to have good weeks, which for if you play in. That's how you win. Yeah, and if you play in Fandul or Draft Kings.
And the week-to-week, these are great bargains for your one-week fantasy team. Yeah, that's a good way to bring them. We haven't talked very much daily in here, and that's because... We probably should, yeah. When we play daily, we have to play through... California. We have to play through our family members who live out of town. Yeah, there are like a handful of states in which you cannot play... I mean, you can play draft kings, you just can't do it for money. You know that? It's possible you can play the free... You can just play all the free games, so... And this is...
Sorry to get off topic for just a second. Are we going to get political? No, no, no, not at all. I thought you were going to make it. No, no, no, no. I was going to say that I'm kind of surprised that, like, ESPN, the main providers of fantasy aren't doing that. Don't have this option as a, like, I would love for our league to have a separate, a separate thing where every week we do, we set our lineup with the, with the budget. I think that would be, that's an extra.
Because we all want more fantasy. That's what we want. With the same people, yeah, and getting to compete in other ways. And if we could start a salary league, maybe this is in here and I just don't know about it. So if it is someone hit me up on Twitter. Matthew Barry gave us a call, let us know. Yeah, I don't know if we'll get another email from him. I don't know. We should check how to steer him. But back to my point, I think that would be really, really fun for people to do if they had that as an option.
to have as a separate way to run leagues. So anyways, my start of the week, I'm going with Kyle Orton. The bills, they do have to travel, but they're taking on Oakland, who are 22nd against the pass, or I should say quarterback scoring fantasy. Kyle Orton has shown that if he's up against a bad opponent, he can put up some points. The bill's defense is monstrous.
Latavius Murray owners beware. That's a message directed toward my co-host. Yeah, their defense puts their offense in a position to score points, and Orden is capable. So I don't mind that start, and he's probably good in your daily leagues. I've got Alex Smith. We saw him still yet to have thrown a touchdown pass to a wide receiver. Two games left for that, but he threw one to Kelsey this past week. He threw into Nile Davis. And that team is still, I believe, in the playoff. I think they're actually
masters of their own domain too. Are they really? Yeah, I think they're at the top of the heat. What? Okay. Yeah, I knew it was, it was close. So Alex Smith, going up against Pittsburgh, we know about their past defense. It's abysmal. And so, yeah. My running back. We were talking about him. I'm going to give him one more try. I'm going with Toby. Toby Gerhard. He must really appreciate it. Dynard is out. Tennessee is ranked 30th against running backs.
They did kind of slow down the jets last week. But Toby looks healthier, and Tennessee is just awful. They are just awful. Not a good team. And by the way, Kansas City is sitting at 8 and 6. Pitt and Baltimore are both. 8 and 6, that's not met. Wait. What? They should have 15 total games. They are 8 and 6.
because there are 17 weeks of the end of the season. But you might have heard that because they play Pittsburgh in the final week of the year. Kansas City does. So that could be for the wild card. And I'm guessing that Pittsburgh. So Pittsburgh and Baltimore have already played twice. Yeah, I believe that's correct. Side track. Okay. My running back start of the week is Fred Jackson. Yeah. For Oakland. Take that Oakland.
Yeah, I mean, he looks kind of back, and he takes a lot of screen path. He got a lot of work, too. He got a lot of work. He's finally kind of feeling healthy. So I think that Fred Jackson is a really good bargain this week. And he may have fallen out the last couple of weeks. I don't think so. But I believe he's still in the top five for passes caught by a running back. Yeah, and they use them that way all the time. My wide receiver, a little bit of a blast from the past. Vincent Jackson, they're finally getting him into the offense.
He plays for the charges? No. Which is ridiculous that it took the Buccaneers this long to figure out, hey, maybe we can throw to Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans. What? Both. Green Bay is coming to town. Green Bay gives up points through the air, and McCown is able to get them the ball. He's pretty good at saying, hey, there's a big guy. I'm going to throw the ball up and see if he can grab it.
