Very, very sad circumstance here where Danny Woodhead just went off the board. Two picks in front of us. Foot Clan? You play with fire. Sometimes you gamble and sometimes you lose. I would rather have Ryan Matthews. Is Matthews still available? It is still available than Danny Woodhead. Oh, yeah. That's incredible. I'm happy with that. So Michael Floyd was our pick. Ironically, one pick behind John Brown in this draft. So it's interesting. I love John Brown. If John Brown was on the board, I would have said John Brown. Do we already have a waterbed on that?

We don't, but we should. Yeah. Like right now? Or what's the water bet for that? The water bet is who finishes the year better and a half-point PPR. I say John Brown. I say Michael Floyd. Let's do it. Waterbed. I feel like every once in a while we should introduce people to the concept of the waterbed. Yeah. Because the new season has come. So occasionally when we meet an impasse like that where I believe I'm clearly right. I believe Jason is clearly wrong. I will...

So it's very fun. And I loved seeing all the middle of winter water bets being paid out. In the ice and the snow. It was hilarious. Then we had Diggs. Stefan Diggs, Latavius Murray, Emmanuel Sanders. Corey Coleman. First rookie went out the board. Coleman in a PPR. Ninth pick, fifth. I don't mind it. Okay. I don't think I would personally spend that pick on him. There are a lot of wide receivers I like on the board a whole lot more than Corey Coleman here.

And I am going to post, I'm not going to read every name and every round from this point on as we get towards the end of this draft. However, I will post this draft on the episode page so that you can see and contextualize what picks we were making. Right now, we are coming up to the eighth pick of the sixth round. We're on the clock. We have Ingram, LaShawn McCoy, Odo Beckham, Jeremy Macklin, and Michael Floyd on the roster. Now, Tyler Eifford is still there. A lot of people are high on Tyler Eifford as a tight end. That's interesting. You still have Doug Baldwin?

Last year's Cinderella story, second half of the season. We have Jay Ajay, Jeremy Hill. Ryan Matthews. Jeremy Langford. I don't see any way that I'd be taking... To me here... I don't think I take Ryan Matthews. Oh, wow, man. Really? I was going to say over Langford. You have Ryan Matthews is your 14th ranked PBR back, and Langford is your 15th. Yeah, see, they felt really close to me. So I guess I have to let that do the talking for me.

The pick here is without a question, Ryan Matthews here. To me, I was between Ryan Matthews and Doug Baldwin. Because it's a three wide receiver, we've got three wide receivers. Doug Baldwin, when I could put him on my bench and have a guy that was last year, the second half, the number two wide receiver who could possibly go on another hot streak and have him in a three wide receiver league, I'd be willing to do that, especially since we just named several running backs we liked. But I believe have we made the pick?

Yes, I thought we were locked in. I apologize. No, that's fine. I'm happy with Ryan Matthews. Doug Baldwin went immediately following. That's a smart pick. Now, we do have Kobe Fleener, Carson Palmer, and Tyler Eifford finishing the sixth round, and then Devante Parker, Julius Phillips, and then DeVonteris Green. Look, guys, we're sitting here, fifth pick, seventh round. We have a bench spot filled. This has got to be Zach Gertz to me. Really? I think we can get Zach Gertz later. All right, let's take the bet.

Let's take the best. Let's try to get him next. Let's try to get Zach Ertz. And I say that because I am so high on Zach Ertz in a PPR leak, especially, just the quantity of targets he's going to get. But other options that we have here. Do you still like Ertz that much? Oh, if it's Wins? In the event that Carson Wentz starts the year? No, I do not. I do not. And if that looks like it's going to be the case and it's not Bradford, I will adjust Erds. It's not, I don't want to play with that fire. I really don't. And I'm speaking of his hair.

That's fiery hair. Jay Ajai, Jeremy Hill and Jeremy Langford are still on the board. So Jeremy's are not going in this draft. We know what that's like. People don't like the name. They don't pick Jeremy's. Hey, shout out. We also have a good friend named Jeremy. Shout out to our good friend Jeremy, who's finally on Twitter. He's finally on Twitter. Good for you, Jeremy. So he can finally hear us. All right. Since we took the running back, and I would just point out, I would have been happier going Doug Baldwin and getting Jeremy Langford here. Yep.

rather than the alternative. However, I feel now that we are locked into not running back. We've already got one on our bench. We've got to basically go wide receiver. We can play around with tight-in or quarterback. I still feel like there's plenty of quarterbacks on the board that I like that are near each other. So I am leaning towards a wide receiver in this pick. I think we all agree on that. The question is who. And because of...

Our makeup, we decided we wanted a high upside guy. I would actually want to play with fire with Kevin White. Interesting. There certainly is an unknown upside with Kevin White. The pick. Other guys on the board, Alan Hearns, Michael Crabtree, Marvin Jones, Tyler Lockett, Deshaun Jackson, Willie Sneed, DGB in Tennessee. Those are really the big considerations. Obviously, you got Josh Gordon still there. We don't.

have enough faith in that situation right now. Laquan Treadwell going with another rookie with upside, but then you're talking about, you know, Kevin White went so high with such potential and a better passing situation. I agree with you on that. Yeah, I mean, there's a lot, a lot of running, a lot of wide receivers here. This is a great example of looking at who all is left that you like. And I think last round, we would have, if we slowed down and said, we really only have two or three wide receivers, but several running backs.

We would have helped ourselves. What do you think about Kevin White here, Mike? I'm okay with it. Like I said, it's a mystery how he will be used. Now, a lot of people are going to say, sorry, go ahead. Jay Cutler loves Alshan Jeffrey, and Jay Cutler has a tendency to lock onto a guy. Kevin White will still get his, but Alshan is going to get the bulk of the targets. Alshan missed a lot of time last year. He did, but I'm assuming that Alshan will be healthy. The pick here for me,

is actually Michael Crabtree in a PPR. He came back to life. Derek Carr loves him. I know that Amari Cooper is also there, but I believe that the passing volume will remain high for Derek Carr and the Raiders. And Crabtree is a, I think he's a good possession receiver with touchdown potential. We have on our PPR ultimate draft kit, we have Michael Crabtree.

about five spots higher than Kevin White in here. And one guy that we, is Lockett still available? Yes. We actually have him one spot higher than Crabtree. Yeah. Interesting. I love Lockett because I feel like Lockett's basement is like for this season is around where Crabtree was last year. And I feel like the upside of Locket is so high. Yeah. The limitation of Michael Crabtree's ceiling to me is what makes him not really appealing, even though he is a...

A very consistent. Let's vote. Let's vote and let Mike choose because we need to move on in the draft here. I'm going to vote Tyler Lockett. What's your ceiling for Crabtree? You're talking 85 receptions, 922 yards, and 9 touchdowns last year. Yeah, that is. There you go. That's great. No, it's great. But he also dropped off in the second half of the season. Is it? Okay. Michael Crabtree general concerns that will never leave me no matter what. So that's, that's, my vote right here would be Kevin White. Yours would be Tyler Lockett. Yours would be Crabtree. Mike, Mike gets the pick. Yeah, Mike does get the pick. Okay, we'll go, we'll go high, high upside here with Kevin White. All right. So we'll make Kevin White the pick. And before I do that,

I do want to give people this information. We're in the middle of the seventh round, and I want to let you know what quarterbacks are on the board. Tom Brady, Blake Bortles, Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Derek Carr, Andy Dalton, Tyrod Taylor, Marcus Mariotta, James Winston, Matt Ryan, Kurt Cousins. The list goes on. I'm very comfortable waiting. Absolutely. So let me ask you, though, since we're talking about quarterbacks. Who is it? At this point, I start saying, how many of these guys do I want left? Which one do I want to make sure I get?

So tell me the names of guys that you're happy to have at the end of this draft or that you want to target. I think that list had about everybody but two. If you're talking about targets, I'd love to take, you know, Dalton very late, Romo very late. I'm happy with Mariotta, but I think those names stick out to me. Dalton, Romo, Carr are probably the, they stick out to me. So we just drafted Kevin White and Brady, Bortles, Eli Manning.

and Philip Rivers went off the board in between then and our picking now in the eighth round. So we need to, let's go ahead and... Is Zacherts still there? What tight ends are available? Zacherts went. He's gone. So tight end wise... You lose. I'm very sad. Antonio Gates, Martell has been it, Jason Witton, Eric Ebron. Oh, Eric Ebron. I love that. Would you take him now? Given the fact that there are... A couple names that would go ahead have been most likely.

Yeah, I probably would consider taking him now. This is about the spot where you grab it like I. Are you Edson? Gio Bernard sitting there in the eighth round, guys. In a PPR. And Tyler Lockett. Charles Sims. Charles Sims is still there as well. I mean, I would take Gio over Sims in a heartbeat. Really? Yeah, because Gio is not like Sims is the bona fide backup. Gio is to me a bona fide time share. Yeah, that's fair. He's not being drawn up as a backup. Very fair.

So to me, the pick that jumps off is Gio Bernard at that value, gives us flexibility. You always have McCoy with injury concerns, Ryan Matthew with injury concerns. I would be taking Gio. I think Lockett is in consideration too in this league format, but we just took Kevin White. And we are out of bench spots, aren't we? Or no, no, we're not. We shouldn't be. We're in the eighth round, so we are on the way back in. Yep. So our next pick will be coming up quicker.

I like the Gio Bernard pick here. I would go Gio here and then grab Eric Ebron with our next pick. All right. We took Gio Bernard, came back around to us. Sneed went right before us. Riddick, Deshaun Jackson, Tyler Lockett went in between our pick. And where we're out now, fifth pick of the ninth round. And so Eric Eberon did not go. Antonio Gates did not go. To me, the pick is Antonio Gates, but I will acquiesce to the Eric Ebron. I have a hard time.

drafting Eric Eberman over Gates. I'm fine. Hey! I am absolutely fine with Gates. You can take your Hall of Famer. You know, when I'm doing these drafts, I really like whenever I'm late, if I've decided to go late, I just want high upside. Now, Gates, I'm fine with because Gates can be high upside. You're telling me he can't get 10 touchdowns. He absolutely could this year. But...

You know, I'd rather get a guy coming into, you know, a youthful breakout year than the potential for an old age fall off year. That's why I would go with Ebron, but I'm absolutely fine going gates, and I assume we went gates. Yes, we did. In the middle, we're at the end of the 10th round. Oh, be in the gates and seize the day. Hey, Mike, don't be afraid. And do not delay, all right? Yeah.

All right, so we're in the 10th round, Marcus Wheaton, Chris Thompson, Shane Vereen, Travis Benjamin. Aryan Foster, teamless, Aryan Foster with the fifth pick of the 10th round, Steve Smith, LaQuan Treadwell, and now I'm telling you right now, you got to let me drive Josh Gordon. I was just going to throw out the name of Flash Gordon. PPR League, three-wide receiver, late 10th round.

Guys like Michael Floyd and Kevin White, who you don't have guaranteed production from, take Josh Gordon, see where the chips fall. If you're drafting early right now, I think Gordon's the pick here. Absolutely, because the other picks here could very well be meaningless for your team. And so could Josh Gordon. But if they hit, the ceiling is not even remotely close. Keel! I'll tell you right now, Josh Gordon, you draft him and they activate him? Keel! It's a keel moment.

All right, so we took Josh Gordon. Our team is Mark Ingram, LaShaul McCoy, O'Debeckham Jr., Jeremy Macklin, Michael Floyd, Tony O'Gate's, Ryan Matthews, Kevin White, Gio Bernard, and Josh Gordon sitting on the bench. Josh Gordon, infinite potential sitting there on the bench. All right, we're in the 11th round. We've got to wrap this draft up here. Is it time to take a quarterback with Tony Romo still sitting there in the 11th round?

Who are the other options available? You still got Derek Carr, Andy Dalton, Tyra Taylor, Mariotta, Winston, Matt Ryan. Man, I just want to say yes to be lazy, but no, it's not. Because you just named about four or five more guys I'm still fine with. I would prefer Dalton. Yeah, you've got Josh Doxton at wide receiver still available. You've got Sterling Shepherd. Garrett Blunt, a starting running back still available.
