against tight ends. And in six of the last eight games, he's had at least four catches. And you're pretty much counting on a touchdown, but we just talked about tight ends earlier. They are a crapshoot outside the top five, so take your best odds. I wish they would unleash Kelsey. Yeah, they're just not doing that. I don't know what it is. Defense, we just talked about the Rams. You know, it's all playing. Taking the Rams against Oakland. Great start this week. Oakland is 25th for giving up fantasy points. The Rams have a very good defense.

137 passagesespecially a good run defense, so careful with Latavius Concussion Murray this week. And Derek Carr, I see at least one turnover coming and some sacks for Derek Carr. Yep, and my streamer at defense is the Vikings D. They are taking on Carolina. Carolina's offense is anemic, and the Vikings have been playing good. They're at home, and I like what I saw last week against Green Bay. Zimmer knows how to coach them up.
I like their defense. So pretty good. Unfortunately, they remind me of the Cardinals in the Skelton years when we had a great defense, but you just... The offense can put them in a bad position or give a turnover away and give them points. And then your defense wears down so your defense doesn't look as good. That's true. It's pretty much the tale of the entire year, so. The fantasy footballers versus the world.
Taking on the world. Boom. This is a section of the show where we do basically some start-s-sit. Start-Sit questions, and we'll both share our opinions briefly, and then we'll go ahead and open it up to the consensus rankings on FantasyPros.com, where Fantasy Pros basically compiles the answer to these start-and-s-s-sit questions.
from the lists of the top 100 or so experts in the fantasy football world. See if we are going with the majority or against them. And then you choose who you want to go with based on whether we convince you to go with us or not. So number one, a tale of two high-level, high-performing wide receivers at the moment. You have Mike Evans or Jeremy Macklin. Evans is taking on the Bengals and Macklin is taking on Dallas. I think I'm going to go with Jeremy Macklin.
And I'm going to do that just based on, I think that the Evans train has to slow down a little bit, and the Bengals have been playing well on defense. And Macklin, I think he's had a couple less than explosive games. I think he, in three Sanchez starts, I believe he has two duds, one good game. Yeah, I don't blame me for starting Evans, but for me, I'm just personally going Macklin. I am going to agree with you. I'm going to take Macklin off of that Dallas.
Their secondary is just, I don't know, it couldn't even hang with the Giants, and the Eagles are explosive, so I'm going to go with Jeremy Macklin. Well, it looks like we are in the minority, my friend, because the consensus rankings say 68% go with Mike Evans. So they're going to keep riding that Evans training. Like I said, I don't blame you for doing that at all. The next one is Golden Tate or Brandon LaFell.
This one's not too hard for me. I'm going to go Golden Tate all the way. Golden Tate is taking on the Bears. Brandon Lofel is taking on the Packers. They both had pretty good games, just under 100 yards, I believe, last week. Golden Tate seems to be carrying the Detroit offense right now. Calvin Johnson is allegedly back and healthy, but his statistics would not tell you that. He said a couple drops, too.
We had talked about this. Is Calvin Johnson going to still be who we all think he was? I think he will be. I just think he's banged up and has a bad, kind of a bad... Yeah, I don't know. I'm getting that weird, get that weird feeling. Oh, I'd be so sad. Megatron would be... It happens to everybody. Be gone. Look at Andre Johnson. Yeah. That thing went off a cliff real quick. Fits to a lesser degree? Yeah. For this competition.
I'm going to, I think I'm going to go with Brando O'Fell. That would be you and 7% of experts. 93% have chosen Golden Tate. So that's a pretty bold play. I don't like it. I seem to recall a 90 plus percent for Cam Newton. We don't talk about Cam Newton.
Carolina fans don't even talk about Cam Newton. So this is a great one. I actually love this choice here. Josh Gordon, fresh off his reactivation or Emmanuel Sanders versus the Chiefs. So Sanders versus the Chiefs, Josh Gordon versus the Bills. Wow, that is a... I have my answer, but that's a tough decision. I'm not getting off that Emmanuel Sanders. Neither am I. He's just... Now, as correct as I was about Patterson, I was...
Equally wrong. You were dogging people picking Mr. Sanders. I did not buy into it at all, but he has been fantastic. Looks like you and I are in the minority on this one. Oh, get off it with the Gordon people. He's good. 86% Gordon. The bills are good. Their defense is good. I know. That's crazy. I know. Well, I think people are buying into the fact Gordon was so heavily targeted on only 69% of snaps.
Uh, let's go with this one, Mark Ingram versus this water bet, like, the world. Oh, right, I know. I know. Emmanuel Sanders has been a PPR monster. Andy's score and touch. Oh, yeah. Just get out of here with that. Yeah, you're choosing Brian Hoyer over Peyton Manning on that one. Stop it. Mark Ingram or Alfred Morris. Ingram has the Steelers. Morris has the Colts, and I, this one's not close to me. Really? Yeah, not even close. I'm Morris all the way. After seeing what.
Jonas Gray did the Colts defense and what? I will say this. Oh my gosh, Robert Griffin can't throw the ball. Which is funny that I say that because when I listen to the podcast, I notice how many times I say, I'm going to say this. And then I make a mental note, don't say that because it's dumb, and then I do it anyways. I will take Morris if Robert Griffin is the quarterback. Oh, you think he might not be.
Yeah, well, he's going to start, but he might get pulled in that game. And, yeah, I don't know, I'll keep it with Morris. What do we got? Well, the answer to that question is 29% Morris, 71% Ingram. So we are in the minority today, my friend.
It just makes it better when you wait. Crazy. Crazy. And the last one here, we got Roddy White, who's been coming on strong, but he's facing the Cardinals D. You got Jordan Matthews against Dallas. I don't like, honestly, I don't think I've seen a lot of people produce numbers against the Cardinals defense. Not since Patrick Peterson has kind of gotten right. Yeah, so I'm going to go with Jordan Matthews on this one. I'm going to keep Roddy White going. He's been playing great. I do like George.
Very tough for me. I don't really blame if you go either way. But if you just want my opinion, at this moment in time on Tuesday, I'm going to lean with Roddy White. Well, the majority of experts agree. 68% say Roddy White is the pick there. And he's been playing great. He's been targeted a ton, catching more of his targets than Julio Jones right now, too. I mean, Julio's going to get Peterson. Yeah. So Roddy will get, not that Cromartie has been bad.
by any stretch this season, but I'd rather, as a wide receiver, you'd rather face Old Man Cromarty than Patrick Peterson. Okay. Mailbag. Bye, old bag! Well, it was like I was going to say something, but I had nothing to say. I noticed. So, this is the final segment here. Again, you can email us at...
Again, we didn't even give our email address. No, I know. You can email us at the fantasy footballers at gmail.com. That goes directly to us. If you want to submit your fantasy football question, we'll be happy to answer on the show. You can submit it with your normal name, or you can submit it with our preferred. Give us a little, mix it up a little bit. We like funny names. A reminder, not a reminder, because I've never said this, but when you send me
an email asking me a question. Not only does it make my heart happy, it vibrates my pants a little bit. Literally. Literally. So there you go. You have all the incentive in the world to email or not email now. Yeah, get in there. Get in there literally. Get in my pants. Let's go ahead and look through some of these. This one's from Creed. No. No. Whoopsie.
Poopsy? Whoopsy poopsie? Whoopsy. That's not a lot of effort by this writer. Whoopsy poopsie? Well, it is a strange name. We did ask for that. Waiverwire question. Which of these guys do you sign? I assume that he wants to know one. Joy Cabell, Justin Hunter, Kenny Stills, Latavius Murray. Latavius Murray. Yeah. Murray because running backs are harder to find.
And then it would actually... Why are you discounting Murray just because he had a 90-yard run? What if he had 250-yard runs? It's not just the 90-yard run. It's just... I'm pumping the brakes. I don't think anybody's driving the car too fast. Well, you are. I'm just putting him on... You are. I'm just playing... I think you're pumping the brakes because I like him. No. Yeah, I do. I'm pumping the brakes because... I don't know.
Because he's a big man horse, and he runs really fast, and he's incredible, and you don't like him. He's on the Oakland Raiders. And he scored twice. He's on the Oakland. A stop clock is right twice a day. Not the Raiders. The Raiders. The Raiders' clock skips the right time. I'm just trying to pump the brakes. So who do you take there? But still, I agreed. I said I'll take Murray, and then take Joach Bell? What, you said pick two?
I'm saying, who would be next? If in order, I'd go Murray, Bell, Stills, Hunter. I think I would do the same thing, except I would leave Hunter completely off the list. Yeah, he's not fun. Is that what? Okay. Well, I thought you were going to ask the next question. No, no, okay. So, next question comes in from Peter Piper PPR. One of my favorite pizza joints. Yeah, I'm actually a big fan of the Peter Piper pizza. Oh, man.
We should get sponsored from Peter Piper Pizza. We'll call a whole segment, the Peter Piper PPR segment. Peter Piper Pick of the Week. Oh, that's gold. Email us at the Fantasy Footballers at gmail.com. Subject line, Peter Piper Sponsorship. If you are a representative of Peter Piper Piper Piper Piper Pizza and would like to sponsor the Peter Piper. Or simply insert pepperoni pizza into my mouth. The pepperoni Peter Piper, Pick of the Week? The Peter Piper.
Peter Parker PPR pick of the week. Only BPR league. Only BPR league picks is what we do. Patrick Peterson, Peter Piper Peevier of the week. Do we got... PPR... Sammy Watkins against the Browns. Kelvin drops the Kins versus the Vikings. How good would he be if he didn't drop so many balls? Or he also has Jeremy Hill.
Gio combo? And Gio. Oh, like you do. It's a pick one. How funny. This guy, you should talk to this guy. Yeah, man, I don't even know what to do with that situation. I think it's Jeremy Hill right now. And that's my pick from these guys. Gets me with Hill? It is a PPR start. It is PPR. I forgot about that. Yeah. Shoot, that's a tough decision. I'd go Kelvin. Calvin? Yeah, I'm going to go Kelvin. Yeah, in PPR. Yeah, and PPR. Yeah, Hill's not getting as many catches as I would like to see. What?
Throw the man the ball. He can catch. I would... This makes me sad. I would roll with Jeremy Hill. Wow. Okay. So you're just going opportunity. Yeah, and I think he's going to score at least once this week, and you need six catches for that one touchdown. I understand it's PPR, but say Hill gets two catches, but then...
He also runs for 70 yards and a touchdown. I'm going with Jeremy Hill. All right. Well, the next one comes in from Who's the Bigger D? Wow. You rushed through that one. Who's the bigger D? I wish you would have had that one. Lions versus the Bears, Texans versus the Titans. Oh, what do we expect here? Where are those games played? Titans are... Lions is at home because that's Thanksgiving. Oh, that's right.
Uh, let's check on the Texans. Where are they at? Texans, Titans. I can't find them at all. I go with the Lions. It's in Houston. I go with the Lions. I'm going with the Lions as well. I just, I don't know if Mettenberger's going to be able to put up numbers against. I mean, Texans get turnovers and stuff, but they give up yards. Yeah, the, and if you have the Lions D, like we were talking about, get ready for your playoffs by doing nothing else because you have the Lions D and they are.
