Travis Kelsey got paid two-year $34 million extension. He's going to live forever. I guess. I have had the most comedic offseason for my dynasty team. Yeah, because your dynasty team is ancient. My dynasty team is so old. How old is it? And yet Mike Evans signing an extension. Travis Kelsey extension. Tyler Lockett.

Extension. Mostert. Mostert got an extension. It makes no sense, but I'm riding it into the ground. And no one wants to trade with me. Yeah. I mean, this is great news for, obviously for Travis Kelsey, for dynasty managers of Kelsey. I know Mike and I's champ champ champ team. We've got Kelsey. This is, this is just nice. X. We were still champ champ champ in a row. You're not your hashtag not the champ. Yeah, I mean, it's like a president. Once a president. I was going to go Academy Award winner. Your residents can't run again, right? Well, you can serve two limits, but you're still. You haven't hit your limit. You're still presidents. So and so. Look, I just am not going to let Champ, Champ, Champ, Champ, go for the entire year. We will retire at 10 championships. So exactly seven years from now. See, if you stuck at the president thing, there should have been eight championships. Sure. So.

Make up your mind. Kelsey. Chip, Chip, Chip. Kelsey, a new deal. You like to see it. Shels his commitment. He wants to be there. They want to win it again. And again, I'm sure. I mean, that's the truth is they, if they win three, how does he not come back for four? Yeah. I do think for fantasy purposes, Kelsey will continue to go downhill in total fantasy points on a fantasy points per game basis, not because he's even losing a step. But as he gets older, they are being more. cautious with his utilization. And so he's going to be important. He's going to be a top tight end. But I don't think he will completely and utterly dominate the way that he did when he was the tight end one year after year after year after year after year. What you would look to if you want to be encouraged about a potential future is Tony Gonzalez. Because Gonzalez was the tight in four.

two and five in his year 35, 36, and 37, which is wild. Yeah, he could probably do that. Those numbers all look achievable, too. It's like 80 for 807, 93 for 930 and 8. Like that is, that's in the cards. And I didn't realize that until this exact moment, how good he was at that age. So it's like you said, not number one dominating that type of thing, but he could be still valuable for a lot. A top. Five tied in is pretty much a sure thing. He's still the number one target for Patrick Mahomes. We're going to love it. But you just have to be realistic at age 34. You look at the last four years, he's gone from 86% of snaps, 82% of snaps, 80% of snaps. And this last year, 77% of snaps. So they're just, you know, they're being cautious as they should. They've won back-to-back championships. They're smart team. Falcons picked up the fifth year option for Kyle Pitts, which projects to be 10.875 million.

He's only 23 years old still. By the way, Kelsey had zero career receptions at the age that Kyle Pitts currently is. Yeah, it is. That's wild. Well, Kelsey obviously wasn't drafted as a toddler like Kyle Pitts was, and then he also started his career injured. But Kyle Pitts is, he's young enough to be a rookie in this draft. There are rookies coming out that are older than him right now. So still some hope, potential, and a future there. in a new offense. Zay Jones was released by Jacksonville. Did you guys see the... A little surprising because he's had a big role in the offense. Yeah, he should find a team, but the way I found the news was through the rap sheet tweet, but the phrasing was... Was it suspect? Go ahead and give it to us. Thanks to their recent draft editions, the Jaguars released Zay Jones and Joey Sly. Like...

Thank you guys. I'm out of a job. Why are you doing that to these kids? Yeah, they weren't doing that on purpose. No, they didn't know who was going to get canned. Thanks to their draft additions. And free agency, right? Gabe Davis was added. Michael Gallup one year deal with the Raiders, where wide receivers generally go for their final season until they leave. Yeah, well, he will have a bad quarterback throwing the ball to him very rarely. So if that sounds good to you for fantasy. That's the recipe? Yep. Rarely targeted by a bad quarterback? Yeah. Okay. Yeah, that's true. That's true. What? You're hesitant. I don't think. Oh, he feels like you're shooting Gardner. I don't think Gardner's bad. I think Gardner plays half the season. Aidan O'Connell plays half the season. This team loses a lot of games. So half the season he has okay quarterback. I'm just trying to stand up for Gardner. Half the season, Devante Adams, Jacoby Myers, Trey Tucker. They have a.

A good quarterback. Brock Bowers. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. All right. Any other news, gentlemen? Anything you got for us? Nothing back here. Didn't we have like a mediocre signing of the week drop? Oh, of course we do. This is made for Michael Gallup one year three million dollars. Mediocre signing of the week. Man, now we can say congratulations, Michael Gallup. There's a big deal. You got the mediocre signing of the week on the famous footballers podcast. If, if. Mike wants some propaganda Gardner Minshu. Oh, career passing stats. He's 59 touchdowns, 24 picks. Trevor Lawrence is 58 touchdowns, 39 picks. In one fewer game played. Yeah, I'm just saying, let's throw it out there. Who's bad now? Michael Gallup. Yeah, that's fair. All right, let's jump in. Hi, rookie. Welcome to the NFL.

All right, we are walking through all the AFC teams and the takeaways from the draft, winners and losers, fantasy relevant selections and how they're going to do this year or how we project them to do. So here we go. The New England Patriots selected Drake May at pick three. So they got their quarterback. They got a quarterback who is very young, a ton of talent. who the Vikings tried to trade up and get. And, you know, New England's an interesting situation. I had asked the Borgogan about a research project because I, you know, which I'm sure he hasn't done yet because he just. It's also been like 24 hours. Just kidding. But every draft has like three or four teams that look like a destination that is Siberia or being.

condemned to a certain situation. And the Patriots kind of fit that mold, even though they don't have the same offensive coordinator or the same head coach. Quarterback was a huge problem. It's a full reboot. Yeah, it's a full reboot. But Drake, a brand new quarterback, they spend a second and a fourth round pick on wide receivers in Jalen Polt, who I really, I liked him on film out of Washington. He was one of the targets from Michael Pennix Jr. He heard me right. Javon Baker, round four. And so the reset is in order. It's a tough division. There's not a lot of clarity, I think, in how things are going to play out on the offensive side of the football. When you have a rookie, you have a scheme that's changing. Some recent news just came out talking about the Cleveland-style offense being implemented, which means some power runs, which Ramandre Stevenson hasn't run a bunch of those in his career at all. And so then you bring in Antonio Gibson, and then you have a wide receiver room that.

is like no more occupancy because there's so many... The wide receiver room is crazy. I mean, you've added these two rookie wide receivers to your rookie quarterback in hopes that you're planning for the future and that these guys work out. They are met with DeMario Douglas, who was, you know, a really good rookie season. There's an interesting rookie last year, and they've still got Juju Smith-Schuster on the roster. They signed KJ Osborne. They've got Kendrick-Born. It is, I mean, they've got Jalen Rigger and Tykewon Thornton. This wide receiver room. is like chock full of wide receiver threes. It really is. So that's where you're hoping that one of these two rookies emerges. It's also where you're going to probably see similar to the Cleveland Brown's offense, the utilization of the tight end. Hunter Henry resigned. He will probably be fantasy relevant, but it makes it really, really difficult for at least year one. I mean, a dynasty, all these players matter, but it makes the path for relevant fantasy options here.

look murky because their entire draft this year was offense. Their defense was great. And they said, we're going to go hard at the offense. That's where they focused. And I don't have a ton of confidence. Yeah, I don't have a huge amount of confidence for this year. But Andy, the point of just be open to the idea, because I am on the side of this looks so bad on paper. Can they really turn this around? But it is, it's a brand new staff and just leave room for one of these guys to actually be good. And it's specifically to Dynasty where, like, watching where Jalen Polk is being drafted in rookie drafts is wild. When we know, we know in our hearts that not every pick works, but draft capital is a huge signal to success in the NFL.

Polk was the 37th overall pick. And in all the rookie drafts I've taken part of, I have seen fourth round selection, Mr. Franklin, Jason, your guy. But Franklin drafted well before Polk goes. They're usually right around the same spot, but you're right. People have been drafting fourth rounder over a second rounder. Yeah. So it's just leave some room that Polk might. Be a good player. I don't know. Well, we're burnt a little bit in both situations when you bring up Thornt. Yeah, you can say the same thing for Thornton. Thornton was the 50th pick in the draft. So, you know, I think it's all going to come down. We know it to Drake May and whether he performs. And if he does, then he's going to find his favorites. And this depth chart will be paying close attention to it in training camp. And so they might be hard to stat right now, but it's going to become more clear what that depth chart looks like. It's not going to be eight guys.

Oh, no. Right. You know, there's going to be some favorites. And I think, you know, if DiMario Douglas starts, you know, lighten it up in training camp and Polk, and there may be two or three guys you take a shot at. Polk, I think, is a really good wide receiver. I just don't know that he's got a ceiling for fantasy. He's kind of in my Tyler Boyd category where he's a relevant guy who's going to, you know, if you've got a double flex, you might be able to use him. But he just doesn't seem to have the skill set to me. Like Baker, Devon Baker has to me a.

higher ceiling if both those wide receivers were to hit. Who is the player I really wanted to see succeed in New York last year on the Giants? Hyatt. Oh, that's what it was. Jalen Hyatt. Yeah, that would be my worry with Jalen Polk because he has that kind of a role. The New York Jets last year 7 and 10 spent a third round selection on Malachi Corley. They were very excited if you saw the video. Yeah, they tried to trade up several times, got denied by team after team after team. They just wanted Malachi Corley, and then he fell farther than they thought. They still traded up and got him. Yeah, moved up seven spots to pick up Corley. To me that, you know, they had a struggle beyond Garrett Wilson last year. We all saw it. Yes. And so this offseason, they go out and they add Mike Williams, and they add Malachi Corley, a youngster with some upside. And so, you know, and I thought,

I thought Xavier Gibson looked okay last year at times in the offense. I think, you know, Aaron Rogers is a winner when you spend a third round pick on a talent like that. Not a big one, but this off season, they added more weapons to the room, and they didn't go out and add another tight end. They were in the market for Brock Bowers, or at least they were in the rumor mill for Brock Bowers. So Tyler Conklin looks like he's going to be the starting tight end there, another winner. Yeah, on our Dynasty podcast, Kyle brought up him as the sneaky veteran winner.

Certainly, the outlook is good there. Malachi Corley fits this offense, I think, very well. You've got Garrett Wilson, who just owns the middle of the field, like that medium depth range. You've got, when Mike Williams gets back, he's going to be the take it off the top, you know, go deep guy. And then Malachi Corley is like. Just hang out like Ron Delmore. Exactly. But just get this screen and run over some fools and run past some guys. And so I think they have a plan for him, and that's really, really good. If there's fools out there, you have to run them over. For sure. If they're just guys, you can run around fools. Fools, you run down. You run them straight through. 100% straight through the face. Over and over. And over. If there was another player that feels just Michael Pennix is going to sit for a little while. Braylon Allen going in the fourth round behind so many more running backs.

It feels like Braylon Allen's time in the NFL is getting the most difficult beginning possible where, I mean, last off season you guys were a band of condo boys. Mm-hmm. And this is Brees Hall's backfield. So Braille and Allen right now, terrible landing spot for fantasy, fourth round pick. Terrible in terms of, yeah, like there's no immediate opportunity. He, does he get the backup job is the question? Which is a question. But in Dynasty, you always want to have backup running backs on your roster just in case. And my guess is that Braylon will take the backup job. Jay, do you have confidence that a band of candle will hold him off? I have no confidence in either way. I mean, Braylon Allen can get it as he can hold on to it. They drafted a fifth round running back Isaiah Davis. I'm sure they're considering special teams for some of these picks.

My view of Brayland Allen is I don't want to overdo the pre-draft hype when he fell and then fell into a bad spot. Like you could fall and fall into a good spot. Malik Washington is a six-round rookie wide receiver that I like. He fell and fell into a bad spot. He's behind not only a stud, but a young stud. I got two words for you. Isaiah Spiller. Yeah, exactly. Isaiah Spiller's story is the same story of Braylon Allen. Original early draft excitement around early round. ends up going later than expected, ends up going to a situation where he can't start from the beginning. He's not a top three round rookie pick for me. He would be a fourth round rookie pick. All right. Let's take a quick break and we'll come back with the Dolphins. Speaking of Malik Washington. Were we? Jason did in passing. Yeah, I mentioned that some guys can fall in the draft but then land in a good spot for them for their skill set. And I think Malik Washington, I mean, he's a fast wide receiver.

Lo and behold. Well, yeah, it ends up going sixth in the sixth round to Miami, who also invested in speed on a player that dropped a little bit, a little bit. Jalen Wright running back out of Tennessee, a player that was coming on towards, you know, at the combine and through that time period, I really liked him, lands in a spot where that speed can go into effect. They reinforced the offensive line at tackle in the second round. Miami. You know, they're right on the edge of being, you know, a Super Bowl contender every year the last two years. So more competition in the running back room or at least more depth. So then how do you feel? You just were, you know, Moster got the extension for your dynasty team. You're obviously happy about that. I think you were, I guess I don't know Jason, but you, to me, were the one most vocal about your support for Jalen Wright. He, to me, always felt like this is where he's going to go in the draft.

But he's fast, and he went to the team that loves fast running backs. Do you have Rahim Mostert fears with Jalen Wright now on the team? I think Mostert has one year left. This is the year. So if he stays healthy, I don't have a lot of fear. But he can easily be injured. And I don't think they want A-chan who's been hurt a whole multitude of times to be the only player involved in this office. Jeff Wilson had a role the last couple of years. So I look at Jalen Wright as somebody that can come in. And if he establishes himself as a speedster, just another rotational guy they can put in there at the end of games when they're blowing people out to get him some snaps. But then if Mostert or H.N. went down, there's no way the other guy is taking every snap. That just won't happen in this Miami offense. It never has. That's why players like Jeff Wilson have been involved. And we liked Mostert, but then Jeff Wilson the year before had almost as many snaps as Mostert. So, you know, I just think Jalen Wright will have more opportunities.

maybe quicker than we think he will. I don't think it'll be a fantasy relevant guy, though. Yeah, I mean, because this is a split backfield. So he is essentially, even though he's the third on the depth chart, he's the backup. He's the backup to the two starters. You know, they've got a co-situation here. And he is the clear next guy up. I don't think he's fighting with anybody on the depth chart that you fear he would break in. They wanted him. Yeah, I mean, they, they trade it up for this pick. And so I. you know, he matches the system a lot. Like I was, I was very anti-divon A. Chan. I loved the film. I love the tape. But I was out on him working and succeeding in the NFL until he went to the Dolphins. I was like, that is a perfect scheme fit. He fits this running game perfectly. And then I was super in on him. Obviously got injured a lot. But Jalen Wright fits this system. Big bodied, super fast guys. It's exciting. But he did drop to the fourth and he is a backup. This is more of a long-term play.

that, you know, barring injury is probably going to be irrelevant. And, like, I don't view Jalen Wright's signing personally in redraft. Any impact? To affect Devon A-chan or Rahim Moster in any significant ways at all. I think they're going to do what they're going to do. An injury, this is depth, and then future for Moster can't do this forever. I see it the same. Tua gets some offensive line help, like I said in the second round. Malik Washington. You know, there's not a, you know, there's not a role that's there for him right this moment. They late draft capital. They really, really wanted him. If you watched the draft, Mike McDaniel kept trying to, for two rounds was like trying to get him to draft Malik Washington and then finally beat the GM into submission. And they selected him in the sixth. He'll find a way to utilize the speed. He's a super productive.

His production profile is outrageous for his final year. Yeah, 110 receptions, 1426 yards and nine touchdowns. But even I'm saying above the raw numbers, like 44% of their receptions, 47% of their yards, like they're receiving yards. This guy was, he was literally half of the receiving offense for Virginia. And yet dropped quite a waste. Yeah, he did. So this was also a team rumored to be in the market for Odell. That didn't come to fruition. But you'll have Waddle, you'll have Tyreek Hill, and then you'll have a number of guys. I think Berrios is still there. River Cray Craft is still there. I think that the wide receiver three was a need for the dolphins. Yeah, Robbie Chosen. Is he still there? No, he's not there. But they had to go out and get that last year in the middle of the season to Jason's point. All right, let's talk about the Buffalo Bills. I'm pretty excited to discuss this team because.

Keon Coleman ends up going in the second round, but the first pick of the second round, the bills traded back two times in the first. They end up sticking at 33, which I think is relevant because every team comes calling for that first pick of the second round. 64215. His 40 time got a bunch of bitter beer faces from the draft community. But the bills believed in him over a lot of other more popular names. to come in and fill the X role after shipping out, Stefan Diggs, shipping out Gabe Davis, letting him go, and are in desperate need of a playmaker and a touchdown score in this offense. And those things are what Kean Coleman can do. You listen to Billy Bean, right, is the general manager. And you listen to him talk about Kean Coleman and the fact that they're going to expect big things from him and Josh Allen expects big things from him on day one. Brandon Bean.

Brandon Bean. Billy Bean. I was like the baseball guy? No, yeah, no. Bean, yes. He worked so quick. Mr. Bean is what I should have said. Rowan Atkinson. Yeah. So, so Keon Coleman, I'm really excited to talk about him. It makes Josh Allen a winner in the fact that they invested high draft capital on a wide receiver and makes, you know, we weren't really worried about Alan. But I think in the back of your mind, you're like, they're going to add somebody. I don't, I don't care if he has weapons to throw too much or not. had 15 rushing touchdowns this last year. They started using the tush push. But even you can't, like we were doing our stats for Buffalo. Neither of us have the guts to do more than nine or ten on a projection. So in that case, you're like, that's what saved his season. You only threw 24 touchdowns. He did have a three. Well, and that's, that's kind of what is a little bit comforting is the fact that Stefan Diggs did almost nothing the second half of the season.
