Yeah, I think you're absolutely right. Dan Quinn said that Julio is battering battering. He's battling a toe sprain, not turf toe. Turfto, if you want to know, turf toe is normally a multi-week injury. Toastrain's more pain tolerance. It seems like something that Julio's done in his life has got his feet cursed.

13:57 ↗

It just seems like there is always something wrong with his feet. He walked over an Indian burial ground of bare feet. Are we talking like a thinner situation here? The movie thinner? I never saw it. Guys. Guys. Stephen King is. I feel bad, but I haven't seen it. Stephen King is the goat of horror. Okay. Yeah, that's a good reason why I haven't seen it. Sorry, I'm not a horror movie fan. I don't know why people enjoy being scared. I don't get it.

14:26 ↗

I always, like a lot of my life, I have tried to avoid being scared. It's not entertaining to me. Jason, you don't like horror movies, right? Not especially. I don't, I don't hate them, but I don't go out of my way to see them. I'll see a movie like The Ring or Sixth Sense. Those, those movies are suspense thrillers. It's not just to get scared. It's, yeah. Well, that's kind of what thinner is. I don't know. Okay. I will say this. It's really not actually that good. All right. All right. All right.

14:53 ↗

So it's good news here that Julio Jones has a spring. And we need to talk more about it because what do you do if he's active? Are you just rolling? Mike, I know your advice. It's past weekend Periscope on Twitter. I would. Yeah. You get San Francisco. If they have the confidence that he can play, I'm going to play him. Braxton Miller on IR. Okay. Bengals fire. I like it's not released. It's fired. Someone wrote in the notes. They fired Mike Nugent. Released was not strong enough. They fired him.

15:23 ↗

Yeah. They gave him his pink slip. They claimed Randy Bullock. I feel like there is this pool of kickers that have been released that all hang out together. Yes. And they're just waiting in a room for that phone to ring. Yeah. Yeah. They're like extra contestants on American Idol or something that are just hoping. There should be a reality TV show that just follows that house that they all live in together. That's right. The kicker house? The kicker house. Yeah. Fantastic. A bunch of.

15:53 ↗

Randy Bullock got out. He got out. Nugent's heading in. He's moving in. He's grabbing his bag. It's just guys doing like trick kick shots all day. Pass me the remote. I need some popcorn. They're not doing curls. I know that. Bengals fired Nugent. So there you go. Eddie Lacey says he plans. Come on. Is this really? Is this real? Yes. This is great. Eddie Lacey says he plans to do a P90X regimen again this offseason. It worked great. Can we just for his public relations?

16:24 ↗

Yeah, I didn't. He needs to do like P120 or P160 or he's P365. Yeah. I feel bad. X. I feel bad for Eddie Lacey. Coming on that contract year, you wonder, you know, running backs, they're just so you're hot today. You're done tomorrow. Except Eddie Lacey is probably looking at the Green Bay situation going, hey.

16:48 ↗

That's true. We've converted a wide receiver. We've signed a guy that's been released by 18 teams. And James Starks is James Starks. So, yeah, we'll see. We'll see what happens. Bruce Ariens says they're looking for disciplinary options for Michael Floyd. It's very likely he'll be benched if not by the league by Bruce Ariens. Yeah. The reality is that they need him. And, you know, they don't care. John Brown's on a short leash.

17:13 ↗

If Michael Floyd's out, I love Jermaine Gresham and J.J. Nelson. J.J. Nelson is going to be a very playable option this week. I mean, you're talking about a great matchup, a high scoring potential. And J.J. Nelson's been on fire. I mean, he's shown it enough where I don't feel like we have to be afraid of him. What was it to two touches? Yeah, two touches last game. And he was the third highest wide receiver. Okay. Oh, last week was rough.

17:43 ↗

All right. I guess before we get into the playoff mailbag, I do want to thank today's sponsor, the 5-4 Club. The 5-4 Club. Love it. like half a wardrobe worth of stuff from their shop, because I love their jeans. They fit perfectly. I love all of their options, and the prices are awesome once you remember. They have proven style authors, like I said, leading the way, providing recommendations, helping me look better than I would look on my own. That's for sure. And you go on there, you choose a different style profile, classic, casual, forward, or mix, you get free shipping.

18:39 ↗

Subscribe somebody to the 54 Club. Awesome gift.

19:08 ↗

Speaking of great gifts. You're losing your mind over there. Oh, man, Omaha Steaks. Yesterday, Mike was telling you all about Omaha Steaks. And I got to tell you, if it's a gift that you're getting this Christmas, do it for yourself. I said you give yourself the gift. Yes, because other people do not deserve this if you do not have it first.

19:28 ↗

So get multiples if you want. But seriously, I don't want to be jealous. I've always liked Omaha steaks. They've made great, great steaks. They're delicious. And when you were reading this, I mean, the deal they are giving the Foot Clan is absurd. It's literally, listen to everything you get. You get two filet mignons, two top sirloins, two boneless pork chops, four boneless chicken breasts, four kilbosses, four burgers, 12 ounce package of all beef meatballs. You're going to get...

19:57 ↗

Four potatoes au gratin. That was the spot. When you read that, I was like, I'm in. I'm in. All that meat, and then I get that. Four caramel apple tarlets. One Omaha steak seasoning packet. And four more kilbasa sausage, because why not? And the code that you use, it's a little different. When you go to the website, Omaha Steaks.com, type in fantasy in the bar, and then it'll show you the holiday special. Click that. You're getting $215 worth of stuff here for $49.

20:26 ↗

It's an unbelievable deal. I got mine yesterday. So go to Omaha Stakes.com, type in fantasy and enjoy some meat. Yeah. Yeah. Let's go ahead and let's jump into that mailbag. Mailbag. Yeah, so let's answer some questions. Look, just before we move into the mailbag, I didn't see anything about this, but there is an L.A. Rams reporter who felt they had to talk about this that Pete Carroll.

20:58 ↗

Had no comment on the report that the Rams would pursue him as a coach? That's because. Was this a real story? My guess, my assumption is that this is a tie into his days at USC. Yeah. Because they're in L.A. So would he come and be back home in L.A. and do the L.A. thing. Let me just say this. It rains a lot in Seattle. It rains championships right now. I'm just saying this. This is stupid. This isn't really fantasy. So I'll make it quick. But I want it to happen so, so, so, so bad.

21:27 ↗

Because Pete Carroll is the oldest coach in the league, which blows my mind because he looks like he's 49. I think he's like. It's all that bubble gum. Yeah. Keeps them active. It keeps him young. It's all that peach cobbler. But if you want to talk legacy, right? You're already old. What do you got to win? Legacy. If you leave indivision and you go from Seattle to L.A. And you turn that franchise around and Seattle goes down the toilet.

21:52 ↗

you're you're like oh okay so he's the guy except for what happens is uh he has russell wilson so they'll be fine and then he'll go down the toilet i actually think that they would swap i think that what i don't go in the toilet oh i thought you meant russell would just come to i'm bringing the team with me uh hey team you guys uh you guys all want better weather so team swap as you say i i don't agree with anything you said

22:17 ↗

Sweet. Let's move on to fantasy football. Sorry, I'll distract us. Here's what you do, though. I'm baffled that this is a real story. When you're looking for a coach, you get in the room, and you go, okay, Harbaugh? I'd like that one. Jim Harbaugh, Pete Carroll, you start to throw names out there into the pump. Hey, you guys think we could get Bill Belichick? Right. He's good. You throw the names out there. It's a little Jim Gaffigan. Yeah, we went to the Jim Gaffigan show. Very nice.

22:43 ↗

All right, you got a question for the show. Go to the website, the fantasy footballers.com. We've got a bunch for answering today. And I'm going to tell you right now, based on last week's questions, they're going to help you because a lot of people have the same questions for their team. A lot of last week was Malcolm Mitchell and some of these middling wide receiver options that you have. So you can also dial our voicemail hotline 302464 TFFB. We're going to jump into a voicemail question right away here in the mailbag. So let me go ahead and pull that up.

23:12 ↗

Here we go. Hey, footballers. It's Alexa in Tampa. Barely squeaked by into the final four. Nice. Trying to figure out who I should start this week to help me get to a hashtag Foot Clan title. I have Alshan Jeffrey against the Packers and Jimmy Graham on Thursday night against the Rams. It's standard scoring. Just trying to figure out who is more likely to score a touchdown and get me to a title. Thanks so much.

23:43 ↗

Take care of sight. Great question. For me, it's not very difficult. Oh, it's not? It's not. Oh, it's difficult for me. It's Jimmy Graham. Yeah, I'd not take the safety of the guy who's been playing. I think it's more than safety. It's upside, too. They're at home. Jeffrey's coming off the suspension. There's no Matt Barkley problem for Jimmy Graham. Jimmy Graham had an opportunity for a 58-yard touchdown that just barely missed last week, and it was a weird game for them. For me, it's Jimmy Graham, two touchdown potential against L.A.

24:13 ↗

I agree. And when it comes down to the tiebreaker, when it is close, would you rather have Russell Wilson throwing the ball to your receiving option? Or would you rather have Matt Barclay? And the answer makes it clear. Tom Brady? Tom Brady? The answer is Tom. Bill. Do you disagree? For you, it was difficult. It's a little tougher. So that means you buy in to Jeffrey's back and he's going to perform. I buy into that. That is a...

24:40 ↗

strong possibility, especially against the Packers secondary. Now, does it change your mind at all to know that Alshan Jeffrey really hasn't performed all year ever? Well, he's not performing in the touchdown category. That's for sure. So I agree that when it came down to it, I would go with Jimmy Graham. Yeah, it's been a rough, rough year for Alshan. All right. Rule change question from, uh, looks like this is from law in Leesburg, Virginia. It's not law from order?

25:08 ↗

It's not law from order. On Monday's show, you mentioned, when and how to bring up a potential rule change for your league. What about what rules to implement to encourage specific changes in the league, such as how to encourage more trading, waiver priority, fab hoarding, keeping people engaged throughout the entire season. Yeah, we can give you a couple tips we've shared on the show before. Keeping people engaged means you need to have things for people that are out of the playoffs.

25:37 ↗

Like Omaha Steaks. Right. You're playing for stakes, fellas. Then I would miss the playoffs on purpose so I could play for stakes. But no, a penalty for the loser. You know, we water the last place. That keeps people from wanting, from, you know, actually wanting that last place, making it.

25:55 ↗

into a keeper league, something you could decide for the next year before this season, also always helps keep people engaged because your players matter more than just this season. As far as trades and that, and we've talked a lot about this before, communication is the only way to encourage more trades. If you don't have a good channel to chat with your league, to talk smack, and to share things back and forth, then you don't have a channel to actually make trades because... And it's not just...

26:24 ↗

communicating a trade it is also mocking someone when you beat them and facilitating like part of it is a culture you need to facilitate a culture in your league where you have pride for winning it's easy to say okay you have a consequence for losing if you have pride for winning people want to win if you have pride you know what i mean if you if you are a league that like one of our leagues it goes over the top when you win and buys banners and t-shirts and

26:49 ↗

makes logos for your team. I mean, you facilitate a culture in which you take pride in winning and people will stay engaged all year long. We should try to up the footclanleagues.com this offseason and figure out like a... Watch your mouth. I know. I did this last year and it created footclanleaks.com. But I'm saying like to help facilitate our recommended chat channel so that people can go, oh, this is a good way to communicate. Well, and you got to, you got to me, it's Facebook and it's Slack.
