This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Every football fan is different. Some won't wash their lucky mustard-stained jersey until the season's over. Some insist they can't sit down on third downs and some pick their favorite team because, I don't know, just like football fandom, nobody's life is exactly the same. And that's why State Farm gets to know you, not as a policy number, but as an actual person.

so they can help personalize a coverage plan that's just for you. Whether it's game day or just another Tuesday, State Farm has you covered. This is the story of the one. As a shipping manager, he's running the dock, stocking supplies, and making sure every order goes out on time. And Granger helps him stay prepared. Hey, Folkland, did you know you can find an ever-growing selection of mechanics tools at Lowe's, like the Craftsman's V-20 cordless power tool lineup, which features a high-capacity lithium battery that's part of Craftsman's interchangeable battery system. It works with all the tools in their V-20 lineup, giving you the runtime you need and the power you deserve.

Lowe's is our go-to destination where we can explore the latest innovative Craftsman products. Lowe's, the new home of Crasman. This is D.D. Westbrook here with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and you're listening to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast. To the Fantasy Footballers podcast. Coming to you from Draft.com Studios with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Oh!

2:02 ↗

Henry. Guys, I did it. I am the only one in America. Nay, the world. I started Derek Henry in a fantasy football playoff match. You did? Of course I didn't. Don't be fools because no one did. No, no, no, no. I tweeted out my condolences for all the number one seeds out there.

2:32 ↗

Because those are the people that are probably playing against, against the people that have Derek Henry and had to start them, people that squeaked in the playoffs. I had people respond to say, oh, nobody's playing. If Derek Henry's gone. And then I started getting all the screenshots, all the screenshots of like, dude, my team is awesome. Why is this happening? And the screenshot is, well, he had a player and they had a player. It was Fournet versus Henry. It was Fournet versus Henry.

2:58 ↗

Henry was only started in 14% of Yahoo Leagues. What a performance. I mean, that was... If you missed it, Derek Henry put his entire career into one game. Yeah. 219 yards, no, more than that. 238 yards, four touchdowns. You know, should have had a fifth. I was going to say, fantasy owners that started him were real upset. They were real upset when he didn't get in for the fifth time in a single game.

3:27 ↗

Nobody saw this coming. Nobody. And it was Jacksonville. If you had told me that Tennessee was playing Cincinnati, maybe Derek Henry would have been in like a flex consideration. But the fact it was Jacksonville who had just shut out Indianapolis, a shocking performance. Absolutely shocking. It was unbelievable. It was amazing. You know, he tied the longest run.

3:52 ↗

in NFL history, which is the longest you can ever do. It was 99.9 yards. I mean, they were, they were inside their goal line. The ball was touching the, as they say. The last words out of the mouth of the announcer before the run was, we've already had one safety in this game. Right. So that was as opposite of safety as a play can get. That's true. Yeah.

4:16 ↗

Yeah, congratulations, Derek. That was 30 to 9. Quite the game. 30 to 9. Leonard Fernette owners are the opposite of the Derek Henry owner. Fornett had 14 carries for 36 yards. The only, literally the only player that you would have been happy you started was D.D. Westbrook, 10 targets, 7 receptions, 88 yards, and a touchdown on the Jacksonville side. On the other side, Jonas Smith went out with an injury. Taj Sharp went out with an injury. You were not happy with Marcus Marietta, who, by the way,

4:46 ↗

Jason, we were looking at consistency charts yesterday. I had moved him up in my rankings from about 22 to 18 because his fantasy finishes over the last four complete games. We're all, it was like seven. He was the eighth, seventh, sixth, seventh ranked on the week. He's actually been very good. And he didn't play poorly. It was just pure unadulterated Derek Henry. It was Derek Henry. And then very end of the game on the faked Derek Henry.

5:12 ↗

Corey Davis should have caught that touchdown. Yes. Yeah, that would have helped too. You were very disappointed if you played Corey Davis. Yes, you were. Corey Davis had two catches for 21 yards. And no, not good. What else is going on? Now, by the way, Derek Henry, now the RB 19 and half point league. Which I think he was near the RB 40. Here's what's crazy. In the standard scoring, standard scoring, he had about 85 fantasy points in 13 weeks, and he scored almost 50.

5:41 ↗

last night. So next season, coming into next season, do not buy the fool's gold of look at his end of year ranks. He had double digit touchdowns. It'll be fun. So, Fookland, if you, if you're new to the show this year first, welcome in. Thanks for, thanks for doing us. We're a year round show. We keep it going. And one of the first things we do in in around January is we have a series of shows that we call the truth where we break down.

6:11 ↗

the ones and two is at the position. And did these guys actually help you? Or they just happened to finish high because of something like Derek Henry. So it'll be, it'll be fun to break him down. Are you starting him next week? Nope. Not me either. Maybe. One? I don't know, man. 204? I feel like Brable was legitimately angry at him when he's like, go in. He's like, no, man, let him score. It's like, I'm the head coach.

6:39 ↗

You listen to what I tell you to do. He would have scored a fit. Yeah, if he got three carries. Absolutely. One bit of news before we get in or out your update for injuries for the upcoming weekend. Kelvin Benjamin has been signed by the Kansas City Chiefs. It's a one-year deal. It's for the remainder of this season. Then he'll be a free agent. And it's a great move by Kansas City, in my opinion. It hurts your projections for Chris Conley.

7:09 ↗

Perhaps. Because I think Kelvin will run ahead of Conley in a lot of formations. I feel like it hurts. Really? I do. I don't think you would at all. Yeah, I would think it hurts someone like Harris as well. I don't think that he's going to be anything more than depth. I think Kelvin Benjamin. No, he'll be more than depth. You don't bring them in for this year. Would be a good pass catching tight end. I think you look at what happened to Manny Sanders in your division and go, man, man, we do not want to be caught in a situation where.

7:37 ↗

heading into the playoffs, our top guy goes down without some depth. That's how I feel about it. It could also speak to, I mean, Sammy Watkins is hurt. Yes, yeah, and Jamie as well. There's an opportunity. He's a bigger target, and he was a valuable target over the last couple of years for a rocket-armed quarterback in Cam Newton. So it's a good move for the Chiefs. It's a low-risk, high-reward move for the Chiefs. I agree completely. Now, a lot of questions. I mean, when I posted about the ridiculous nature of having Tyree Kill and Calvin Benjamin,

8:06 ↗

on the field next to each other because they're the exact opposites as players. Fire and molasses. Fire molasses, as they say. People were like, okay, but do we pick him up? No. I would not at all consider picking him up. Calvin Benjamin could pick Tyreek Hill up. Oh, yeah. Put him on his shoulder. Certainly. What if the- But then Hill would be so much slower. No, the secret play is Kelvin Benjamin literally throws Tyreek Hill 20 yards into the air. You can't stop it. It's impossible.

8:36 ↗

Yeah, yeah, Mike. That's true. I think Travis and Kelsey could have done that. Yeah, Zeus. He didn't want to. Okay. It's Friday. Put Clan Friday. Today's Foot Clan Friday winner is Eduardo Micelli. You win a $55 gift card. Congratulations. Yes. Thank you for supporting the show. Everybody that supports this independent podcast at Jointhefoot.com, we appreciate you. We're here all year long.

9:13 ↗

And it's been a fun ride, thanks to you. So thank you very much. Congratulations, Eduardo. Let's get into In or Out. What's it going to pay me, fly? Are you in or out? Cam Newton, the shoulder injury. What do we expect, in or out? I expect him to play. Yeah, he's going to be in, but you saw the limitations, although with his running, he's still a great play. Melvin Gordon.

9:38 ↗

Did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, so out. Out this week in next week. Carry on Johnson. Same as Melvin Gordon. Do you think, do you think Karen will play next week, Jay? I don't think he will play. Did you say Melvin Gordon out next week or in next week? No, I think Melvin Gordon plays next week. Big game against Kansas City. Isaiah Crowell? Trending towards game time decision after missing practice Wednesday, Thursday. I believe he will be out. I think it's good news for fantasy owners in the sense that sometimes you're tempted to play him.

10:07 ↗

Yes, it's a fair point. Duke Johnson. Duke Johnson Jr. So Duke Johnson, this was breaking news right before we started the show. His grandmother has passed. He left the team so for personal reasons. And it sounds like he may not be back in time for the game. So.

10:26 ↗

Out. I'm going to lean out for personal issues. Doug Baldwin, wide receiver. He did not practice Thursday because of a hip injury, which is a new injury. Congratulations, Doug. Oh, goodness. Could be a Veterans Day off. I'm going in. Yes, I'm going in as well. It's a Monday night football game for the Seahawks, which means this is like that Veterans Wednesday Day of Rest. I'm not too worried unless it comes out later today that he did not practice today. If you had to decide between Baldwin and all that he has and hasn't been or David Moore for Monday night.

10:54 ↗

Oh, gross. I'd still play Baldwin. Yeah. So maybe you handcuff Baldwin with Moore if he can. Sure. T.Y. Hilton's shoulder injury didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. I believe that he will still play, though. I do as well. Sammy Watkins, limited Wednesday, Thursday, in or out. I'm going to go out because of the Kelvin. Kelvin Benjamin. Kiki QT. Limited with the hamstring. You cannot play Kiki. No, no way. He is a little bit frustrated. If you read.

11:21 ↗

If you read what he said about this hamstring injury and it's just popping. I know fantasy owners, you can say whatever you want, but he's pretty upset that it keeps lingering. Deshaun Jackson. No, he's out. He's not practicing now and there's reports that he might be out the rest of the season. Eric Ebron. He will play. He has been out with an illness. Evan Ingram. He's back. Welcome back. Enjoy your 30% of snaps. Well, he's been practicing in full at least. Yes. So he'll play. I think he will.

11:48 ↗

But you have low expectations due to all that. Yeah, until Engram shows that he's back to getting his regular targets and snaps, I don't think you can. And by regular, you mean last years with a different coach, different regimes. No, I just mean earlier in the season. He wasn't that great. But he was at least on the field. That is better. I will grant you that. It is much better to be out on the field. Reminder.

12:16 ↗

Foot Clan Game Day alerts one hour before main Sunday kickoff for everybody at Join the Foot.com and Sunday live with me. Oh, it's going to be big time. I've got the live stream. Could be the best one ever. This Sunday. I think it might be. I have to find, Mike, I need to find some sort of like, what do they call the barbers? A cape? When you get a barber's cape. Because sometimes, you know, Mike, you got that beard hanging over. It looks like you're getting a haircut during the live stream. Did you know that? Well, since we've upgraded the Sunday Live.

12:46 ↗

Oh, he doesn't look that way anymore? It doesn't look that way. That was only because of the, like, handheld. Yeah, and it was the up angle. When I would have a black shirt, it would certainly look like I was at the barber. I'm getting my haircut, but I'm still giving fantasy updates. Look, I'm not going to miss the haircut, and I'm not going to miss the Sunday live. That's right. Andy holding down Sunday live and YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Periscope, Twitch. I don't know I said Twitch. Twitch. Twitch, Joe! But that's going to be a thing now. That's how the kids say it. That's right.

13:18 ↗

Fantasy Forecast. Did you see Ninja was hosting the Game Awards yesterday? He's everywhere, man. I saw a screenshot over, yeah. Congratulations. Doing work. Fantasy forecast, the rest of the matchups. If we don't talk about the team you want us to, it's because we did yesterday. So go ahead and listen to yesterday's episode. The 10 and 2 Saints take on the 5 and 7 Buccaneers. Buccaneers are 8. Home Underdogs. The game has a, oh, come on now. 55.5 over under? 55.

13:50 ↗

It is worth noting this game line opened at 58 and has been bet down pretty significantly. Because of weather is what I understood. People are worried about rain. 14 mile an hour wins. They're worried about the drizzle? Slight drizzle. Or shizzle. Drizzle for shizzle. But I will say this. I'm still expecting a lot of points scored here. It's in Tampa.
