Wednesday, September 20th. And we're about to get into week three. And I'm excited about it. Guys, how are you doing? Doing very well. I think so far the season has started off on a good foot. There's a couple of bad, you know, look, I'm sad about David Johnson, sad about right now about Sam Bradford and other things making impacts. But overall, I think we're off to a good start. I hope your fantasy teams are doing well. If they are not.

Who cares? I mean that because we have over the last few years had so many emails come in saying I started the year 0 and 4 and then I found your show and I won the championship things like that. So don't get discouraged if you are 0 and 2 right now. That's absurd. A famous man once said anything that happens can happen in reverse. That 0 and 2 can become.

Two and two. I am right there with you. My League of Record team, which it's a good team. It is. I have assembled a great squad here, but I'm 0 and 2. Had a couple things break the wrong way, but I know that I believe in my team and I believe it turns around. Yeah. Yeah. What last year or was it the year before where I started 0 and 5? Yeah, bought back for the playoffs. All right. Quick question of the day. Who's your favorite buy low candidate to trade for right now?

So who are you buying on the cheepsies? Well, I'm going to start right at the top. And it's not so much that you can get him super duper cheap, but it's that you might be able to actually get him, which is Levy on Bell. You know, after the first game of the NFL season when Tom Brady put in a clunker, we told people, go out and just make offers for him. And then we had ridiculous things come back. Like someone traded.

me, Tom Brady for Carson Palmer. Before Palmer had even played. Right. Exactly. Before Palmer, well, of course, before Palmer had played, his week one was terrible. But the point is, when a superstar gets off to a bad start, you are able to acquire them. I mean, and there's reasons for Levion Bell's bad start. You know, Cleveland, sure, you were hoping for that week one great performance, but he had no training camp. He comes in.

And then week two, you're talking about Minnesota's great rushing defense. So I really like, I made a tradeoff for this morning for Levion Bell. So I'm putting my money where my mouth is. I mean, he was back on the field for basically 92% of snaps against Minnesota. So he's on the field. He's getting the carries. It will happen for Levon Bell sooner than later. I'm going to go with DeMarco Murray. And I think.

You know, you spend months in draft preparation. You invest high draft capital on a player. And so the proportional, the emotional feeling of a guy that struggled for two weeks and now is a little bit banged up, I think it makes him affordable. And I said it on the show yesterday. He's the foundational piece of that offense. So much like Devante Freeman, if Devante Freeman was banged up, the second he's healthy, he's going to be the starter. That's the same case with DeMarco Murray. It doesn't mean I don't think you...

need to acquire Derek Henry, and, you know, Henry doesn't have an opportunity here. It's just that DeMarco Murray, I don't think the injury is severe, and I think he'll get it on track, and I think you can buy him cheap. The guy I'm going to throw out is someone who I think you can get cheap. The price may continue to go down if you decide to wait, and if you acquire them, you are going to have to wait, and that's T.Y. Hilton, Andrew Luck has already ruled out for week three. We have no clue.

when Andrew Luck is going to come back. But when Andrew Luck is back, I think T.Y. Hilton will return to form as a low-end wide receiver 1. It just could take some time. But if you were a 2-0 team and your roster is looking very solid, you can go to that team. Maybe they happen to be one of the 0-2 teams, and they're like, T.Y. Hilton, I got to get them off my team because they need an actual startable wide receiver right now.

You make that move and just put Hilton on your bench and wait. That's the essence of by low is that I think there are going to be a lot of owners with DeMarco Murray and T. By Hilton, specifically, that got off to poor starts because of their dependency on those players and those players haven't performed up to date. Yeah, and this happens every year. Think about Golden Tate last year through the first two weeks. It was garbage. I mean, for the first three or four weeks, you'd be scooping him up off of waivers or you could trade nothing for him.

You know, over the second half of the season, he was fantastic for fantasy. I'll throw an honorable mention name out there. Doug Baldwin. Yeah. Traditionally, Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin, they don't kick it into gear until about halfway through the year. But things are going to be better for Doug Baldwin than they have been for the first two weeks. Do you feel like it can? It's not a can because, of course, it can. But do you feel like it will turn around this week? Because I'm not. This week? Yeah.

maybe not this week, but soon. I mean, it's another one of those situations where I'm going to trust the last few years of them figuring things out. I mean, they've struggled in their offensive line, the running game. Even the Chris Carson hype is a little bit exaggerated, in my opinion, because if you look at outside the fourth quarter where they were just where he got all of his yardage, he was 13 for 36 to that point.

It wasn't really efficiency there. So that whole offense is struggling. I think Doug Baldwin will come around. Just saying we have to foreshadow today, we have a pump the brakes, you know, classic segment. We'll be coming up today. And I had thought about a full-on Seattle Seahawks pumped the brakes for this weekend. You're just going teams now. It worked last week. It did work last week. You went the Colts offense. You can find a. Frank Gore says otherwise. Yeah, he had no kick in.

And then Jalen Strong was grabbed by the, oh, from the Texans by the Jaguars. So the Jaguars picked up Jalen Strong. Didn't work out in Houston. Nope. All right. Let's go ahead and preview the Thursday night game. And I have some hot takes on this game. Oh, I'm excited. I thought a lot about this. And look,

Nothing's going to be worse than last Thursday. Houston, Cincinnati. They're going to try. No, I don't think so. That's the hot take here. Okay, this is a... So it's the Rams Niners. It's the 49ers and the Rams, yes. The Rams are in San Francisco. They are two and a half point favorites, and it's a 39.5 point over under. So Vegas isn't expecting a lot of points. But here's my take on this. The Rams through two games, they're the 30th ranked run defense. And...

Carlos Hyde just destroyed the Seattle Seahawks. So I think what you're going to see in this game is this is not last year's 49ers or Rams. The Rams offense has shown the ability to sustain drives for the first time since Jeff Fisher arrived, pretty much, and then departed. And essentially what I think is going to happen is I think you're going to have a game where I'm not confident starting the Rams defense the way that I think most people are.

I'm not going to start them this week. I take on Jason in our League of Record. I think it's a scary proposition because I think Carlos Hyde is going to have his way and I think Kyle Shanahan will be able to do enough to make this game a little bit more fun and a little bit more competitive than was last week. You're not talking about Breeze versus Brady. You're talking Hoyer versus golf. But I think it's going to surprise people. I think it's going to be a more entertaining game than we think. I think you're going to have some fantasy production on both sides of the ball in the running game.

That's just my take on it. And you guys are welcome to disagree. Yeah, I think it's going to be tough. You have the Rams, or I'm sorry, the 49ers. They had a long grueling game on Sunday against the Seahawks. I mean, you're talking NFC West divisional battles. These teams beat each other up, very low-scoring game.
