It is Thursday, June 4th, and I don't sound like myself. No, you don't. I sound like... A much cooler version of yourself. Oh, I am fighting a cold, but I am here. I have fought through it. And assuming I don't sneeze into the microphone, we're going to get through tonight's show. We got good stuff for you. Real good. I think it's impossible for me to sound...
as excited as I should sound in this current tone of voice. But we are here. We are the fantasy footballers. I'm Andy Holloway. I'm joined by Mike, the fantasy hitman, right? Hello. And Jason Moore. Double stuff. Jason, double stuff, boy, in the house. Be the double stuff. We'll see if that nickname sticks. Oh, well, you know. You know, should we tell the little story about Tuesday night? Yes. What's the story about Tuesday night?
The story, for our listeners that don't know because we have been in an offseason ourselves, we don't just play fantasy football. But we actually are becoming old manness are also involved in a real-life flag football league that we have been in for a long time. We won the championship last year. Poo-poo-poo! Jason Tute-horn. And if I may, some more.
I caught the game-winning two-point conversion, also known as the double stuff. That's right. And so combined with last week's episode, I might just be the double stuff. What we were doing is we were testing the two-point conversion for the sake of the fantasy season now that they've changed the extra point rule. Clearly it works. And it's going to be utilized a lot this season. If you want to follow the fantasy footballers, you can do so at the FF ballers on Twitter. You can also email us if you want to send in a question.
Tonight, we've not exactly a mailbag show, but we're answering a lot of mailbag questions on the show tonight. So you can email us mail at the fantasy footballers.com. You can also call us, leave us a voicemail question, 302-464 TFFB, if you'd like. Got a couple of those tonight. It's going to be a good show. I got a couple questions for you guys.
Let's hear it. These are just hypothetical situations that you're staring down in your draft, and you have to pick one of these. What would you rather have? Which situation would you rather have? These are teammates, two guys, fantasy relevant on a team. Let's start off with Houston here. Would you rather have DeAndre Hopkins in the third round? Third round? Yeah. Okay. Or Arian Foster in the second round. Foster in the second round. Foster in the second round.
Yeah, definitely. Okay. I thought that would be the answer. So we'll start off a little easier. Julio Jones, oh, this one's maybe, but Julio Jones in the second round. Okay. Or Roddy White in the eighth round. That's actually. What do you think, Mike? Yeah, that's more difficult. Yeah. But I'm going to take the upside of guy. I'm going to take Julio Jones. You know, I hate when I'm a top overall wide receiver. Yeah, I would. I listen to shows and every answer is the same. But I would too. All right. Second round, Julio's great. Here's an interesting one for you. And I just squeaked.
Just for the record. That's going to happen a lot and we will laugh every time. Yeah. My voice might just be gone by the end and Andy left. All right. So three guys from the Colts. Which one would you rather have in the third round? Andrew Luck in the third. Okay. Potentially a value at least based on ADP. T.Y. Hilton in the third round or Frank Gore in the third round. Oh. All those guys are currently a...
Andrew Luck has the highest ADP of those three right now. He's probably going one in the second. He is. My answer is pretty easy. So put them in order. Each of you put them in order for the cults here. In the third round, you're staring down these three guys. Who do you take? The order that I would value them for the third round would be Frank Gore, Andrew Luck, T.Y. Hilton. I agree. Oh, where's that consensus bell? Bing!
It's in the mail, actually. Yeah, we ordered one. Not even joking. It's in the mail. It's so it should be here for Tuesday. I got a harder one for you. Ready? Yeah, about time. We're going Seahawks here. Marshawn Lynch in his first round, where he's going. Or Jimmy Graham in the fourth? Oh, yeah. I like Jimmy Graham in the fourth. That's surprising to me. Marshaun Lynch in the first. Oh, no. I've been seeing Jimmy Graham at like the two, three turn. If I can get him at the fourth. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. Okay.
Last one for you before we do some news and notes. Kelvin Benjamin in the fourth round. Okay. Or Greg Olson in the sixth round. Oh. Kelvin Benjamin in the fourth. I got mine. I would take Calvin Benjamin in the fourth just because I don't like taking tight ends in the middle. I feel like the, I mean, I guess it's still good value in the sixth for Greg Olson. We just had an undervalued show. Greg Olson.
He's outperforming his ADP every year, although this year he is the third tight end off the board. Well, both of those are values because Kelvin's going in the third in most rounds. I feel like my voice is now getting, getting like, it's a sympathy. Stay back. Vicariously becoming demons. Let's play a game. You want to play a game. Anybody who's listening for the first time won't remember that. Listen to the last show. What do you take, Mike? I don't think.
Either of those is actually a value that's, to me, that's fair market value. For both of them? Yeah. Well, I'm just saying value based on their ADP. What's interesting is both of those guys are, the situation I gave you was around back from where they're both going. Right. So you still don't find them a value because you draft Calvin Benjamin almost never. Yeah, I guess I don't mind him in the fourth because he could do it. High praise. He could do it. He could do it, but.
Yeah, yeah. Not a big Benjamin Jack. I just wanted to throw a couple out there. Maybe that will come up today as we talk a little bit of Cam Newton. There may be some Kelvin Benjamin facts. Make sure you stay tuned because we have our second fantasy face-off of the season going down and I get to officiate because we got Mike the Fantasy Hitman and Jason Moore. Too-boot-boot. Already celebrating. All right, let's read a review from our listeners. Okay.
Review Osaurus Rags. This one comes in from Banana Juice 187. 187. 187 on... Death to banana juice. Death to banana juice. This one's pretty simple. Says this show is fantastic and just straight up better than the others. That's... Hey, short and sweet. Thank you for the review. If you like the show, you can leave us one as well. We appreciate it. It's... Very much. We appreciate that. We had a lot of really great reviews this week. Yeah, we did.
I don't know how banana juice, 271, but good for you, banana juice. Yeah, as you say, we only read one of them, but thanks to every show, per show. Right, but thank you to everybody who did leave us a review on iTunes. We appreciate it. Show is growing, and that has to do with you. Before we get into the news, I just want to have a big shout out to at Lord Norty and FF couch coach for coming in with the hotness on Airborne.
Supporting me and macaws. I appreciate it, fellas. There were some other tweets, too, but those are the two handles I remember off the top of the dome. You got a lot of airborne tweets. Yeah, because it's awesome. Airbud. He loves Airbud. No, Airborne. That's what it is. Yeah, it's vitamin C that you get to take before you're sick and a little tablet that you drop in your water. Airborne. If you would have watched it, let's see. One person in this room has seen Airborne.
Two people have not and two people are getting some throat virus going on. Coincidence, I think not. All right. That's pretty hard to defend myself against that. All right, let's talk some news and notes. News and notes from around the league. All right, guys. Oh, no. I have to take a moment to talk about what could have been. It was the offseason of Adrian Peterson.
Oh, I know where we're going. It was the offseason of rumors and wonder where he could end up. Where he would play, is he going to be in Dallas? Oh, Arizona is the front runner now. And nothing happened at all. A lot of talk. Oh, man, so much talk and news every week. He's back. Absolutely nothing to change from what we all, what I thought. At this point, I just wanted kind of an annoying holdout. And I didn't even get that. He's back.
They say he was just tired of being away from the game. He had a big old smile at the podium when he was back. Big old smile. Yeah, that's called 12.7 million reasons or whatever it is why he's back. Is that his number? Yeah, it's right around there. I have to admit, I did not think the Vikings will be willing to pay up, but they are going to. Well, I'll tell you what is really funny and entertaining, and I guess this is the time to tooth the horns if you're these guys, but...
I'm laughing at the amount of fantasy experts on Twitter who are coming out and going, yeah, I've got AP number one. Oh, that is true. They're coming out of the woodwork. You see that? Yes. And I said, welcome. Welcome aboard. Well, I mean, what is your take on AP this year? Top three. He's a monster. He is an absolute monster. Good offense, up and coming quarterback.
I don't have my AP stats in front of me, but the guy is just, he's a thousand-yard double-digit touchdown lock. That's going to happen. And I think he's going to catch more balls this year with Bridgewater than he normally does. Yeah, exactly. So AP is back. Prepare yourself for another season of fantasy football with Adrian Peterson. Let's hope he can stay on the field.
Let's shift to some other news. I got a tight end watch for you guys. Rob Housler, the ex-Arizona Cardinal, he's a pure past catching tight end, and he is currently running all alone in the one spot for Cleveland. And this is relevant because as much as we don't necessarily love the Cleveland offense, there's not a lot. One of the reasons is because there's not a lot at the wide receiver position, and Housler is stepping into that role that has been abandoned by.
Jordan Cameron, who went on to Miami. So Rob Houser could have some relevance this year. Or at least that's my take. What do you guys think?
I feel like I have to remove myself from opinion here because I have such a bias of... Like, I feel like he can't catch footballs and isn't a good football player, but he would be a darn good... Like, if there was a sprint that was only allowed for guys over a certain height, then, you know, I would actually maybe change my opinion on Rob Housler, but I don't know. I don't care. I don't care. I think he could flash in Cleveland. I'm with Andy on this one. I think he could, too. And because the team...
I like Andrew Hawkins. He's a solid two, a wide receiver, not saying fantasy two, but a solid wide receiver two real life. I think Dwayne Bo has enough left. To be a 1.5? Yeah, 1B. And heartline is brain, heartline. Are you forgetting about McCown? No. Oh, okay. No. No. McCown airs it out, which is that he had the most yards in the air.
of any quarterback last year. Highest percentage of yards. He had something mid-60s. So he can throw the ball in the year. That's what he can do. And with Housler, who's big and fast, I just think there's the possibility for Housler. And another tight end I want to bring up real quick. I forgot to write him in the notes, but Jermaine Gresham was working out for the Saints today. Yeah, my boy. We need to work out with the Cardinals. We need some tight end depth here.
