It's gone down every single year. No, not if you factor in that ankle injury and look at the second half of last year. We're going to let Mike have the final word here. And then... Okay. Tannehill on my team instead of Can Newton. A couple reasons, sorry. One is cost. Cam Newton is going to cost you two or three rounds earlier, and that will continue to go up. Last year, Ryan Tannenhill was eighth overall. Cam Newton not. Now, granted, he didn't play the whole year, but that's a factor is he gets hurt. He gets beat up. He runs. Now, Cam was in the top three, which is the outlier of the quarterback, top three twice. Ryan Tannenhill was up there three times.

Ryan Tannahill was a top 12 quarterback seven times to Cam's five. Now here's where it gets really interesting. 30% of Cam Newton's points came in two weeks. Sure, those two weeks were spectacular and you probably won. But 30% of his points came from two weeks.

Well, I'm going to let our audience decide the winner of this fantasy faceoff. So if you go on to Twitter and you... And to clarify here, because I think what you just said, I was not in my head. Like, heck yeah. I can tell you, flat out, Ryan Tanahill will be on more of my fantasy teams than Cam Newton because of where they're getting drafted. This is a straight up heads up.

Who finished, because we've got a water bet on this. And the water bet is who finishes the, Mike and I have a water bet. Who finishes the year with better fantasy points? Cam Newton or Ryan Tannehill. And if we're factoring in where they're being drafted, no, I definitely like Tannahill has a better value for where he's drafted. It's a 22-person IDP league, really only concerned with the offense, though, keeping five people in the round you drafted them in. I've got really good value with ODB in the last round, the 22nd, Jeremy Hill, in the 21st, and Isaiah Cruel in the 20th. So given that value for three of my five keepers, I can also keep Jordy Nelson in the first or LaShawn McCoy in the second or both.

Would you let those two go, given the value of the other three and try to get best available, or would you keep them instead? It is a PPR as well. Thanks, guys. That's a good question. What would you do, Mike? I looked at this one earlier, so I have my thoughts, but it's really hard because not knowing who the other keepers are when you're talking the caliber of players. I don't want to give a first for Jordi, but I guess when you're talking about that deep of roster and the keep factor,

I probably would. And in a PPR, Lashon McCoy's value should go up. And so just based off of, I don't know who else is being kept, but I probably would do it to make sure that I can get elite players. Yeah, I mean, I think if you just flip-flop McCoy and Jority, for me, the one and two, if McCoy was a one and Jordy was a two, I'd keep them both. So for me, I keep all five guys.

Yeah, I echo the same thing. I would probably just keep LaShawn McCoy. I think there will be enough talent there to be able to draft them, but I have no problem keeping Jordy. Yeah, Jordy's very high on my board, so I'm keeping him. All right, let's go to the next question here. Hey, guys, about individual receiver-wide receiver versus Mark Ingram, LaShawn McCoy, or perhaps do you like him? Any quick thoughts, Mike? If you can get that first combo,

That's who I would want out of those guys because I like Miller probably more than most. And I have Ingram as a kind of upper tier RB2. And the advantage you get by having a Julio and Demaris is pretty extreme. So if I feel like I'm confident that I can get those running backs, I would do it. But that's the risk you take.

Whenever you go wide receiver early, the risk is do you get the right running back? Yeah, does a running back run occur and then you're just straight host? Yeah, either way is okay for me because I like McCoy more than most. So if he could slide you or to Marco, I'd be pretty happy with your second situation. If Murray's there, I'm taking. Yeah, exactly. And I'm with you. I take Murray over McCoy at this point. I don't know if...

Yeah, that's what it all comes down to for me is what running back falls to that turn. Because if there is a certain, like I did a... Ingram, I'd be fine with Ingram, like he said. Well, I've done a mock draft where Arian Foster's fell there. And if Aaron Foster's there, I take him for sure. I take him all day. He's falling a lot more than he should be. Right. So really, it just comes down to...

You know, what running backs are still on the board? Is there somebody that you consider? I know Forte's fallen there and Arian Foster's fallen there. Would you guys rather have, would you guys rather take those guys than the main wide receivers? Say the name again, I was reading. Forte or Arian Foster? Foster. No, no, no, but I'm saying those two guys, either one.

Not both, but would you rather have the wide receiver with forte? Yeah, I'm fine with that. I'm fine with that. If either of those guys are there. If it's just forte there, I'm going to take the stud wide receivers, both of them. But if it's Foster, you would, yes. Fair enough. All right. Email from Brian from North Carolina. I can keep the following players in the 13th to 15th rounds.

So he wants to know which three of these guys should he keep. Eli Manning, Latavius Murray, C.J. Anderson, Jarvis Landry, Brandon LaFelle, and Charles Sam. So if you had to pick three, I think we're all tossing C.J. Anderson in there right away. Yes. Who's the other two? For me, it's probably Murray and Landry. For me, we don't know if this is PPR or not. If this is non-PPR, I'm going to go Anderson-Murie LaFell.

If it is PPR, I'm going to go Murray Anderson Landry. But I also see that he can get Lamar Miller in the seventh. Yeah, so what Mike said about PPR non-PPR does the exact switch for me. And if you can keep Lamar Miller in the seventh, in addition, do that for sure. Yeah, and if he has to be the third player, then I'm taking the three running backs. All right, this one comes in from Troy, who is in Ontario, Canada. Oh, bonjour.

Is that right? It's pretty close to right. All right. It's not Quebec. All right. Fine. Good day. He's in a 10-team league. He only, he starts normal starting lineup, but one point for every 10 return yards in the league. So, for example, this means a guy like Devin Hester finished in the top eight of wide receivers last year. He finished eighth ahead of guys like Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, Alshon Jeffrey.

And so his question is he wanted us to rank a top 10 wide receivers for this type of a system, but I figure we can at least pull out some guys that you need to be paying attention to in return yard leagues. And actually, Michael Bay, if you remember Michael Bay, he wrote us the email before he left us that review, actually. He was on a review of Socialist Raxis. That's what it was. He had a very similar question talking about Devin Hester because Devin Hester...

could step into that role where Harry Douglas was last year anyways, and he has, he led the league in return yards. So Hester's obviously a big name. What are some other guys that you would throw out there in terms of return yard relevance that could be good this year? Let's see. Is Landry still returning? I believe Landry's still returning. Okay. And you know. Jarvis Landry is a name to pay attention to? You know who's got to be the number one just out of control in this league is Antonio Brown?

Yeah, if he's... Because he's still returning punts and he's got his big dominant in this league. So I would try and get that guy. Percy Harvin probably has value. I have to imagine they're going to use him to return. And I don't do...

Are we going back on that? Oh, I would. Yeah, Corderole Patterson's a guy who... He's good at returning. Yeah, and he's going to get the ball in the offense. Marcus Wheaton's a guy who had return yards last year. Danny Mandola would get a boost. Tape on Austin. Yeah, but... Is he still in the league? Yeah. That's how I feel. Maybe. I kept waiting for him to be something. And has it come out whether or not they're going to stop using Randall Cobb to return kicks? Because I think they should, but I'm not...

I'm sure that they are going to. They do for the most part. Yeah. But that's a good point. So hopefully those are some names to pay attention to. I don't play in any return yard leagues myself. I'll just be honest with you. And I don't really like them too much because it just seems to disproportionately put different names out there like you heard here. Devin Hester becomes a top eight guy. So those are some names to pay attention to. If you guys think of any else, anybody else? I'll just shout them out.

No, but he's in a keeper league with a bunch of military friends. Thank you for your service. Around the world, and he's struggling to settle his keep his keepers this year. We'll settle this right now. We'll help you out. He's allowed to keep four guys at the round that they were drafted, and his possible choices are these, okay?

His first keeper selection is Eddie Lacey for a first. He just acquired him in a straight up trade for A.J. Green. Well done. Props on that. So he's using Lacey as his first rounder. And so he basically has to trade Jamal Charles because he can't have two guys he keeps for the first round or dump him back into the pool. So basically these are his two possible scenarios to choose from. He could end up with Andrew Luck, Jeremy Hill, Eddie Lacey, and Alshon Jeffrey. Okay. So that's one. Luck Hill, Lacey, Jeffrey.

or Luck, Hill, Lacey, and Ingram. So would you rather have Ingram or Alshan Jeffrey in that set, basically? Because he's pretty much committed to Jeremy Hill, Andrew Luck, and Eddie Lacey. So Ingram or Jeffrey. But what's the cost? Yeah, I was going to say that. Yeah, I'm sorry. Yeah. Ingram is for a 14th rounder. That's what the guy. Yep, yep, yep. You're right. I didn't see that in there. We love Alshan Jeffrey very much.

Very much. If they cost the same, it would be a tough decision. I could see arguments for either side, but in his world, he's got to give up a second for Alshan or a 14th for Ingram.
