Or do we trust a 25-year-old pro bowler to return to form? Where should he be going in a standard draft? In a standard draft, I would take Josh Gordon in the seventh round. I'm not sure I would take him in the seventh round. I think that is about where he will end up going. He should be able to return to form, but you're missing.

53:30 ↗

You're missing several games. You don't know how the target shares are going to be split up. When Josh Gordon was there, he was it. You know what I mean? And we just talked about the other day how now it seems like there are more targets to go around. Gary Barnage is going to get targets. Corey Coleman's going to get targets. You know, Terrell Pryor is going to get targets. So now it's not. He's going to get target. Yes. He's going to get two target, one catch 40 yards. I thought he was getting here's giving him a franchise store.

In my head, I say I would take Josh Gordon in the sixth round. And I still, I don't mind you doing that. In the sixth round, though, you're saying Josh Gordon over John Brown, Tyler Locker, Martin Jones. I'm not doing any of that. I would consider taking him over Alan Hearns. Yeah, I would too. I would consider taking him over Jordan Matthews. I would definitely take him over Jordan Matthews.

But I see the debate there. There's several guys there. I'd much rather, you know, Emmanuel Sanders or Josh Gordon. There are plenty of guys in that range that I would take Josh Gordon over. But there are plenty of guys that there's no way I would. And so I'm probably not. Doesn't it? See, here's what I think. Here's how you draft Josh Gordon. I think he belongs in the sixth through the eighth round. And I think it depends on what those first five picks for you are. I think if you've gone with a couple of wide receivers already.

54:50 ↗

I'd rather roll the dice personally on maybe getting a one, like a super one out of Josh Gordon. But if I'm drafting there and I'm going, I need to fill in my two spot because I went tight end or I went running back heavy, I'm probably going to play a John Brown or I'm going to play even maybe in Allen Hurons for that safety net versus the risk of Josh Gordon. Because even if Gordon is healthy and targeted a bunch, you still have to bake in.

completely agree and it's so important to bring that up as people are draft this is draft season the rankings are are you know that's the order of which we think guys will finish but i i'll take my own personal rankings that i have statted out and when i'm in a draft based on my team makeup i might go out of order on the rankings because these players are are different they're not just numbers at the end of the year it's it's are they boom bust guys are they consistent what is my team need

And that's why we don't put what round you should take a guy in. That doesn't go into the picture of the rankings. We don't say you must take this guy in this round because it really is your team is dependent and whether you think guys can roll back to you as well. So that is it for today's mailbag section.
