uh the leading the pack he's ahead of the game right the last thing i wanted to point out was the jordan camera goal line target he did not haul it in but they lined him out uh i think he was in the slot but it was just it looked uh very reminiscent of some julius thomas in denver action of calling the goal line to the tight end so just i know that the notes on him in camp have been terrible i'm just pointing out the the tight end usage for the dolphins it

after week one or two might be something we got to jump in on. Also, not enough, I mean, two carries for Arian Foster. They were not, they did not look good. But, you know, that was the offense. That was the offensive line. I'm not sad at all. This coming week.

Adam Gase is saying that he's going to give Arian Foster a lot of work, and I think we need to keep an eye on that. That's going to be one thing. I'm going into this coming week, really looking at how does he look? Does he pass the eyeball test on the ground? What about in the air?

Well, I think when you get him in space and you, I mean, look at last year for the Texans. He was great through the air, but he wasn't the same when he was behind the line of scrimmage and getting the ball handed off. He couldn't run away from guys. You get him in space. He's, I have much more confidence there. All right, the Panthers played the Titans. We talked at length about Tajay Sharp yesterday. You can go back and listen to that discussion. Just the fact he's moved up the depth chart. He seems to have the confidence of Marcus Mariotta. And so he may be the best of.

the worst wide receiving core in the league in terms of fantasy production, not necessarily skill. Just because last year, I mean, they didn't produce, Jason said it on the show yesterday. They didn't produce one top 50 wide receiver. They didn't produce. And it's very clear from the coaching staff this season that they want to run and run and run some more. Oh, yeah. And that's what I'd be doing too. All right. So to me, I talked to these guys last week I adjusted my quarterback rankings.

For a good part of the offseason, I had Russell Wilson number one. I had Cam Newton regressing a little bit. I think it's a very reasonable perspective on Cam Newton. I have come around two weeks ago, or I changed my rankings. Cam Newton was number one. I watched this game, the Panthers and Titans. I'm affirmed in my belief that Cam Newton will be the number one quarterback. I try to get a water bet.

of you, Cam Newton versus the field, but you said no. Yeah, because you always take bets that are blank versus the field. Yeah. Calvin Benjamin looked huge and in a good way, as like a big-bodied going to win at the point of attack. Not Lacey, huge? Not Carlos Williams, huge. Vertically, vertically huge. Yeah, he just looked tall. I mean, he looked like a big outside wide receiver like they finally have, you know, Ted Ginn made a huge play like he's going to do because he's going to get the ball in space.

against dbs that are covering the third or fourth wide receiver and gin can run away from anybody in the league you know and i just think the weapons are there for cam i saw i just saw cam new i don't i don't see any problem with him repeating what he did last year i really don't and maybe that's you know very vanilla for the perspective out there i don't really care i want to be accurate and i think that's the most accurate thing i really do care i like vanilla yeah vanilla's delicious from from just a fantasy outlook going forward i i still think that

for him to stay as efficient as he was last year with the 27th passing attempts. I just can't see that repeating. But he did look as he is incredibly strong. He fires a rocket. Don't you think the passing attempts can come up, though? Yeah. You don't have to be as efficient? I think they will have to come up a little bit. Josh Norman's not there anymore. You would still have to be so incredible. I mean, his efficiency was not good. It wasn't like, oh, he was really efficient. It was like historic.

I mean, the amount of touchdowns versus passes was... I'll give you a top two bet if you want it. I'll take the top two bet. Yes. Water bet. You guys could do that on Android next week. Well, we'll have to wait until after the season there. But the one thing I do want to point out that I was happy to see. I came looking for because last year, Kelvin Benjamin wasn't around. Is he looking for him? It was his first read every time. He was really trying to go at Kelvin Benjamin. So that kind of gave me a little bit more confidence in him being the number one in the offense. Is Derek Henry a handcuff or a handker? I think Derek Henry might be his own guy. I think he might just have standalone value.

8 to 10 carries a game is what I would expect from him. I agree, but I do think from what we're seeing on film. And I make him a handcuff. I agree. I think he's a handcuff. Oh, yeah. Because should DeMarco Murray go down, as Mike just said, they want to run, run, run the ball. And then he's the guy. All right. Let's talk about the Bill's Giants game. We talked about Will Ty earlier. I have a note here. Two early targets started the game.

We know there's a battle between him and Dinell. I think Mike and I have been of the opinion that Ty is more talented. However, I did say, look, I'm not confident enough in the way they're going to roll these guys out because I think both guys will be involved. Do you have different opinions about Will Ty? I like him. I'm comfortable punting tight end and starting the year with Will Ty. The two early targets was great news for me that I think that they will look for him frequently.

And we've seen Eli in the past. He likes to get the tight ends involved. I think that tie is just a better pass catching tight end than Danelle. And I think that the cream will rise to the top there. Yeah. If week three comes out and Danelle starts the game as ahead of Will Ty, it'll completely change. But if what happens as expected and we come out and Will Ty is the guy in that role to start the game, then I'm confident in tie. All right. Is it Reggie Bush or Mike Gillisley behind Lishon McCoy in?

in Buffalo now. It's Gillisley. And Reggie Bush is a big, you know, they like him, they brought him in. He looked rusty to me, and granted he should be. But, I mean, there were a couple of plays where he just couldn't hold on to the ball. And I expect that to be done away with. But I think Gillisly is the guy who's going to be the true backup here. Okay. Anything else from this game you guys want to discuss? Nah. All right.

The Ravens and the Colts. Mike mentioned Carlos Williams and the fact that Colts could be a candidate for him. Right now they have Josh Ferguson and they have Robert Turbin behind Frank Gore. You know, he may not be flashy, but I just don't know how Frank Gore leaves the field. He is the only guy there that can, in my opinion, can pass protect for your franchise that you just paid $10 bazillion to Andrew Luck.

Frank Gore is a past protector, even if he's not extremely productive from an efficiency standpoint. I think the volume is just there for Frank Gore, and he looked okay to me. I just, I don't want to draft him, but I think you can, which is, I think, what's like...

written next to what's written next to his name for the last five years is what I was getting at he always overproduces expectations he's done it forever but he's really good at getting your expectations down which is great for average draft position Frank Gore right now is being drafted behind DeAngelo Williams and that's ridiculous that's patentedly absurd to me because Frank Gore is the starting running back the only running option for

a high-powered offense, or you've got a guy who's going to play three games and then be a backup and a handcuff on your bench. I would, I think that's ridiculous. All right. Philip Dorset looked good. We talked about the three wide sets for the Colts, so pay attention to that. You know, a lot of the blurbs here are more pay attention to versus, well, that's all you can really do in the preseason. Especially in week two. These shows are almost frustrating to us because we want to give you a lot of insight.

But we don't really, because if you take too much from these preseason games and talk about every player, then we're just going to end up overreacting and making bad decisions. We've got to go back, take little tiny nuggets, touch on them, and that's all we can do in week two. All right. We've got the Raven side of the ball. Yeah, it was a split. Justin Fawcett and Buck Allen kind of took turns. Well, and West was out there with the first team before he jammed his thumb.

Yeah, but he came in after Fawcett and Alan were kind of doing their thing. He did. Yeah. I just made, he did come out with the first. Sure. Sure. I'm still on the Justin Fawcett camp. I haven't seen anything to change my mind. The fact he ran 5 for 11 yards didn't change your mind? Nope. We just said don't pay attention to the stat box. Yeah, if you go back and look at last. That was a test, Mike. I only pay attention to stats like that when it's a player I don't like and I need to validate my opinion. Yeah.

Just like Jason said that Reggie Bush was, quote, rusty, but Aryan Foster sucks. I was going to say that so the Aaron Foster stand line didn't concern you.

No, it didn't. Well, the nice thing is in the last... He's rusty. In the last month. Justin Fawcett's not rusty? No, he's on a broken arm. Five carries. It's innumerably more. Justin Fawcett has been dropping like a rock. He went from the 70s now in the 8th. In your mind? No, I'm saying, on average draft position. So at some point, you know, if you're getting Justin Fawcett in the ninth round, the guy's... I know, you're right. He's going around. Of course. The upside is there. Of course. We want to be...

accurate. And I think Justin Forsett has a great opportunity to return better than that draft value. And if you're saying like, well, I'm going to take a chance on West. I'm going to take a chance on Dixon. I'm taking the chance on Buck Allen over those guys. I agree. All right. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. I'm going to try to pronounce it every single time on purpose. I watched this game very closely. James Swenson just plain old had a very, very bad game, very inaccurate.

He definitely looks like he is in better shape than last year. That is plain to see. To me, what stood out of this game was Charles Sims looks like a pro running back to me. Love Sims. Jason is laughing. Should I ask why? Sure. I'm laughing because I'm looking and reading through your show notes, Andy. And I see Gus looks amazing. Gus Bradley. Yeah, Gus Bradley. We haven't looked really good in this game.

Like if I had a, like I was in Top Gunn and I had to, you know, had to put a little picture by the window in case something goes bad, it's Gus. Yeah. Or it's Aryan. It's hard to decide. But let's stay on the bucks here for a second. We saw a very inaccurate Winston. I saw.

the ups and downs that we saw last year of Mike Evans, but he caught a touchdown pass, which, hey, we're just going to hope that catching a touchdown pass means a sign of positive regression for Mike Evans, that he'll be heading back towards a double digit or close to it touchdown season. That's what I'm buying. I watched very closely the running back situation in Jacksonville, as I've been doing all preseason in camp. Yeldon started. Yeldon was out there consistently.

I would take Yeldon in half point in full point leagues without question over ivory. Ivory looks fine and ivory will score and ivory will be out there in probably a 50-50 split. So if you want, if you have a really strong opinion about one guy, say just go with it. To me, Yelden looked good. Ran well. Ivory looked good. Ran hard. There has been as close to a 50-50.

that you can get with these two guys. I think I saw a stat somewhere where it was like they have the same rushing attempts, the same snaps, the same, just about everything across the board other than goal line carries. What about receptions? I assume Ivory has more. I don't have that. Did you yell them? You need yelled. Heldon. So for me, that's how, I mean, that's how I break it down. They're ADP.
