What do you think about the zero-r-b strategy? I have the fifth pick in a 10-team standard league. So far, I've been able to get similar results in these first five rounds. Thanks for the great fantasy insight, and here is his first five rounds, similar results to this going the zero-rb. He goes, Antonio Brown, Jordy Nelson, Alfred Morris, Frank Gore, and Drew Brees. That'd be fine with me if it worked out that way every time. It'd be fine with me except for I wouldn't.

grab Drew Breeze in the fifth, but that's just a personal, personal preference. Yeah. What'd he do to you? I might take him in the fifth, but, and correct me if I'm wrong, but as your R.B, when you're saying that, you're not taking an RB till the fifth or sixth round. Yeah, you're just, you're correct. then that's fantastic. But part of the point of going zero RB is you're trying to desaturate the wide receiver economy by taking them all up and then hitting. And let other guys go running on them and then end up with that running back late. I mean, what do you guys think about Frank Gore? You guys like him? I love Frank Gore. He wants to know what our take is on auction. He also mentioned in the email that kind of the sentiment is once you go auction, you don't go back. Has that been your experience? Do you like auction drafts? I have my own thoughts, but what have your guys' experiences do? I like auction drafts because it gives everyone a chance at every single player, which is clearly not true for...

a standard snake draft but auction while it's good it just it requires a lot more thought which not everyone wants to do and especially time auction drafts are very long compared to a redraft and i haven't found they're very easy to do online it just it didn't flow well whenever i've done them so and and redraft worked perfectly online so

I would say if you are able to do an in-person auction draft, I would absolutely get behind it. Yeah, my experience with them has been, if you have 12 guys that know what they're doing, it's really fun. But if you're just breaking it in and you've got some of those league mates that aren't fully committed, it can kind of ruin the whole thing.

Yeah, I love. Because then you're spending, somebody's spending the wrong amount of money. They're not filling up the roster right. It just seems. Yeah. You take advantage. The disparity of the league ends up much wider after the draft. I mean, they're fine. I like them. They're fun. I think from people listening to this podcast, you're people that know fantasy football right now. You live, breathe, and love fantasy football. And you would enjoy. May 19th. Right, exactly. It's all based on ADP. Your value is based on ADP. And those things are kind of lost when you go into an auction draft of, I mean, they're still there kind of, right? Like the value of guys. But I really like just being able to talk to friends about, I got this guy in this round and have them understand it. And there's just something about, like, if auction were to become the standard and the norm.

But all right, Brady says he's in a 10-team standard-scoring league. He can keep two players with no penalty. He has Shady, DeMarco Murray, Jordy Nelson, and O'Dell Beckham. He thought for sure it would be LaShawn and DeMarco. But with the huge workload, Murray is due for an injury. He's nervous about Shady. So the question marks from the running back position makes him.

worried. So he wants to know what do we think? Ten team standard scoring, I go those two running backs and I don't even think about it. All day, every day. I know you guys are a little more sour on McCoy, but in a standard scoring league, I love it. I agree that the standard has me leaning towards Shady and Murray. If I don't want to do that, then I go Murray, because I much prefer Nelson in a standard than Beckham. Yeah, I like the two running backs.

And you have major concussion problems. All right. He says, again, great to have a truly committed show that keeps entertainment and facts going. He's acquired Todd Gurley. He's acquired Kevin White and Amari Cooper in different. Wait, what? Oh, in different. In different dynasties. I had every single pick in the first round. It was great. He says, what is their potential trade value? Well, Todd Gurley's trade value is interesting right now.

because there's two kind of thoughts with that, right? There's the unknown potential so he could be incredible so you can capitalize on that because he's hurt and he's not going to play right in the beginning. Or there's the he's hurt not going to play in the beginning. People are worried about him potential. What do you guys think? What are the trade values of these three guys right now? I like trading them personally. All of them? Not necessarily. Trade all the players. Trade them. No, no, no. I was answering Todd Gurley. I like trading Todd Gurley. Oh, trade him.

Yeah, I would say trade him because his value is, in a dynasty league, his value is every bit as high as, I mean, he is being valued as Adrian Peterson. He's being valued as Adrian Peterson. And the chances that he becomes Adrian Peterson.

are not as good as everybody wants to say just based on his talent in college. And I'm not saying he can't do it. I'm just saying if you're playing the odds, which is what you do when you play fantasy, his value is, I mean, in normal dynasty drafts that I've seen, he's actually going number one.

I've seen him go number one more than I've seen him go number two. Me too. And so you can say his value is clearly being super high. So I would trade him now because you just don't know what it's going to look like. And how many years do you have to wait until his trade value matches that after he comes out a little bit slow in the beginning of the year? And maybe even after he dominates this year, you're looking at next off season to be able to trade him for that value. I would trade him. I would let someone come after him. I would try and get a couple starters.

That's a really good question. You guys know my answer. Yeah. You know, honestly, C.J. Anderson, I have touted him. We had the fantasy face off earlier in the offseason, Andy, and I was on the C.J. Anderson's side. What is happening?

What is happening? I got to be honest, man. Every time that I go to mock draft, every time that I look at actually being the person drafting him, the question marks on C.J. Anderson do come into play, and I keep drafting him a player lower, a player lower, a player lower. And I think that this is a legit...

Great question because I've actually been in a draft right now where I'm looking at these two guys and thinking, okay, if they're really on the board for a team that really matters to me, which one am I going to take? The one that I'm not sure he's going to perform per yard, but I know he's going to get a ton of balls, or the guy that I know who will perform if he gets the balls, but I don't know if he's getting the balls. And right now, we're so childish. I know. Right now, honestly, I am still C.J. Anderson.

but it's by a hair and the needle's pointing down. But I would take CJ Anderson over Shady. Andy, you would take Shady over. Right now I take Shady. So, Mike, be the tiebreaker. A lot of it has to do with when you have to lock your keepers in. If you have to do it today, then just for safety's sake. And, man, that sounds like being a coward, but I would go with Shady. But if you get to wait a little bit, because if they're both starting, it's C.J. Anderson by...

a mile. It's not even close that Anderson's value is way higher than McCoy, but it's the question marks of, is he going to get the bulk of the time share? Yeah, I'm willing to leap upon C.J. Anderson win the time comes. And ride him into the victory. Yeah, I have no problem with that. It's not like I, I'm not blind. I haven't seen, I've seen what every Peyton Manning running back does. I just have a little bit of that doubt, a little bit of worry there.
