Ready to talk fantasy football with you. We've got waivers on the show today. We have our quarterback streamers. We'll get into all of the news. And we will talk right now about last night's Monday night football game in which Dak Prescott put on a show. He's very good. He's very good. I love a quarterback who gives his wide receiver a chance. He did it twice with Bryce Butler down the field. One-on-one coverage, undersized.

defensive back and big plays made. The Bryce Butler play in particular was amazing. So, I mean, he boots out to the right. And you can see he's just, he's waiting and waiting as long as he possibly can because he's, he's ready to run. But he sees that there's a, there's a glimmer of hope. There's a possibility that Butler might break free.

and he waited the right amount of time. Very Aaron Rogers. Yeah, I mean, you know, Rogers rolls out. He's always willing and able to run, but he's looking downfield because he's going to get five or he can pick up 40 with a good rollout bomb. He reminded me a lot of Donovan McNabb last night. Sure. Because McNabb was always waiting to throw down field, but those cross-body bombs on the run, I could almost see McNabb and D-Jax.

back together. But impressive game. I think Ezekiel Elliott owners were soothed by the touchdown late. You know, it was a good game for Zeke in the fantasy department. I think some kind of shut down in the backfield quite a few times, but eventually broke through. Great game for Dak Prescott. Des Bryant found the end zone along with 10 of his best friends. He's very strong. Who helped him get in there.

And it was unfortunate for Arizona because they started the game well. They blew the second opportunity to score. And then the offensive line really gave way to that defensive pressure. You know, it's a mess there because when Carson Palmer had time, you saw that he could be effective despite the lack of weapons. No David Johnson. So you're bearing a little bit of the lead here. It was Larry Fitzgerald had an absolute monster game. 13 for 149 with a touchdown. He good.

Yeah, he just, when Carson Palmer is able to throw a nice ball, when he, so to speak, he has an actual time, then Larry is going to be able to get open. How are you guys feeling about Larry Fitzgerald moving forward? The first two weeks were absolutely atrocious. But if you didn't realize this, Arizona had not played at home in.

really an eternity. It was like 37 days. It was a good sign that they, you know, Carson found Palmer or Carson found Larry consistently. So I guess what I'm saying is keep or sell. I would keep right now. I don't think you're going to get enough if you sell now. If he puts back to back, you know, high volume PPR days together, which I expect he will do. He gets to play San Francisco next week. Exactly. At home.

Yeah. And not only that, but Steve Kime this morning was listening to him talk about some of the injuries. There was an injury to one of the offensive linemen. He expects him to be back. But the main issue here for the Arizona Cardinals, this is why two weeks ago I had tweeted out how worried I was about playing any Cardinal was they were down. DJ Humphreys, their current left tackle, and Mike Ayupati, probably their best lineman. Steve Kime said today that he expects, he's hopeful that they're back.

this coming week. It sounded more like DJ Humphreys would be back, and maybe Iyupati might be two weeks. I'll give a spoiler alert early. He's going to be my stream of the week, and a big part of that is going to be the offensive line play and the matchup at home against San Francisco. Going forward, would you rather start Andre Ellington, who had five receptions, or Chris Johnson, who looked like he was five years, like he should have retired five years ago? It really felt like once they...

committed to Andre Ellington. And you kind of saw the switch halfway through the game. I know Ellington only got five carries, but he actually could move his body. I mean, you're like, oh, that guy looks like a professional running back. He's actually shifty and fast. Chris Johnson, meanwhile, was 12 for 17. And looked every part of 12 for 17. When you saw what happened with Kerwin Williams, he was named the starter. They had cut Chris Johnson because I thought, okay, well, Kerwin's going to do it. He failed miserably.

So they moved on. They said, okay, we're going to give someone else to try. So it wouldn't shock me if this week there's going to be, you're going to get that sleeper bot alert. Andre Ellington expected to see a lot more carries this week. And it would make sense to do it early in practice before the week because you saw some mental errors when Ellington was put in there running the wrong way or kind of coming back on a route he wasn't supposed to. And he was not.

you know, practicing as the starter or even the backup running back. So I think that change could happen. I would rather have Ellington. And I hope I have a better option than any of the Arizona Cardinals running backs. All right. Please talk me off the ledge. Nathan, me and you, bro. We are hand in hand in this war. We are both 0 and 3. But that doesn't mean when the season's over, you could be 10.

And three, because whatever happens can happen in reverse. Owen three feels like an absolute death sentence to your fantasy football team. There are many out there who will see Owen three. And they will say, well, next year. Oh, don't do that. Don't do that. Do not be that person. Nathan. Because you can come back from Owen three and you can still absolutely make the playoffs a few years ago. Our good friend are the captain of this ship.

Andy, what did you? You own five? Yeah, I was on five. Owen five came back, never, never stopped fighting, kept moving forward, made the playoffs. I'm Owen three. And in our league, you can sell off for draft picks and some teams may do that. I'm not doing that because my team is strong enough. I'm just catching a couple bad breaks. I'm putting it together.

I'm moving forward. There are in every league, several 0 and three teams, a lot of one and two teams. There are teams that feel like, okay, they're already out of it, and they're going to start playing on tilt, or they're going to stop playing as much, stop mining the waiver wire, take advantage of that situation. If you're one of those guys that scratches and claws, you will make the playoffs. The amount of emails that we get or tweets or whatever, every single year talking about how I started in such a hole and won the championship, it's,

It's so common that I've been doing it long enough to see those at the end of every year. Hey, I started 0.m 4. I started 0.5. I won the title. Do not bail. Yeah. All right. Let's talk news. News and notes from around the league. Quite a bit of news. I want to get through this as quick as I can so we can get into the waivers. But let's start with Andrew Luck. ruled out for week four against Seattle. That one might have been by choice. Chuck Pugano says that there's a possibility that he'll practice this week.

Yet to be determined. Things are trending in the right direction for an eventual luck return here in the next few weeks. Adam Schefter, this is not good news. This is common news, but not good news. Tyler Eifert, he's going to miss multiple weeks with a back injury. He's slow to recover. Always has been. It's a huge problem. If you do not have an IR spot.

I would encourage you to be confident to drop him if you need to. Because it's going to be a game every single week of whether or not he's back. And we've just seen too many times he takes so long to recover from these injuries. And you don't want to waste this valuable time. Now, if you've got an IR spot, obviously stash him. If you don't have someone else better to, you know, you don't just auto cut a guy. But if there's someone else you need to pick up,

and you need to utilize that bench spot, move on. Because all of the tight ends this year have pretty much sucked. And so if you need to stream that tight end, you're going to be just fine against your opponents. Yeah, that's a good point. And even when Eifert does return, you're going to feel confident starting in those first couple of games? Certainly not week one. I just want to throw this out because we probably won't really focus on him in the waiver wire. But Andrew Luck is owned in 75% of Yahoo Leagues and 83 in ESPN. So very minute, very small chance.

But just have a little peek on the waiver wire in case an owner was frustrated and rage dropped Andrew Luck. To go get Case Keenham. Sometimes you have to do. Just say that there's a 10% chance or maybe even a 25% chance that he's there. That's crazy. All right, Melvin Gordon, minor bone bruise on the knee. He only played 42% of snaps. You know, he left with the injury, came back later. Good news for Calvin Benjamin.

No structural damage to the knee, but his week four status is unclear. If Benjamin misses week four, you already have Greg Olson out of that offense. Can you stream or sign? Like, is Devin Funches in the waiver consideration? Yes. He's definitely in the waiver consideration. And you might have to start him in a flex role. But I don't think there's anyone that I love. I'm certainly, if Kelvin is out, I'm not starting Cam Newton.

you know, maybe a DFS play on like a Curtis Martin or, you know, something that. Curtis Martin? I was doing a double take there. Curtis Samuel. Curtis Martin would also be great if he was still playing. Yeah. No, Curtis Samuel, maybe like some crazy deep DFS play, but I don't like deep DFS play. I don't like most of the players there if Kelvin's out. Other than I think Christian McCaffrey, just by necessity in the passing game, I mean, part of the problem is Cam's arm.

is not ready to go. X-rays came back negative on Matt Forte's toe injury, and guess what? We're going to ask him about it today. Tomorrow. Well, on tomorrow's show, but I'm going to ask him about it later today. We're going to talk to Matt Forte. Julio Jones dealing with a lower back injury will be limited in practice. Yeah, if you haven't seen the play, he pretty much got dropped on his head and his back. It didn't look very fun. Time Montgomery.
