people think. He can catch the ball, but the time it takes for him to get out of the backfield to that catch spot versus another third down back is different. Fair. Hey, Juju, you should play him, right? Yes. My start of the week until I said, oh, I'm worried he might sit. Do you want partial credit? I do. I want partial credit because I saw the opportunity there if he played the game to have a great one. If he had bombed, though, you would have gotten credit for not making him your start of the week. Well, you're darn right. I mean.

128 passagesSo once again, the hedge man. The hedge works. The hedge clippers. We got to get them out. Juju, 9 for 143 in a touchdown, also threw in a 96 yard. Kickoff return. Keenan Allen had another big boy game, 12 targets, 9 for 133. Keenan. Yes. Yeah, you like Keenan a lot. Where does Keenan go within wide receivers next year? No, just within. Oh, is he a top five wide receiver locked and loaded? I don't think he's top five.
I think he might be. And he will be. Yeah. I'm trying to think like Antonio Brown, Julio, O'DB. I would take Hopkins. Those four are the first four for sure. AJ Green's in there. Yeah. Yeah. Green and Keenan. That's a great like that'll be a conversation piece. I guess well, yeah. Hey, we're going to get a talk about it. Yes. I love it. It's our job. It's our job. All right.
Kenny Gallaudet had a touchdown. Oh, so smooth. What the offseason looks like next year with the new head coach and his talent and ability. But Marvin Jones got it done again. Four for 81 and a touchdown. Both those guys. And Golden Tate. One touchdown each. Well, let's just do that. Why do you do that every week? Stafford? Stafford. Yeah. It's not that hard. Idiot. Some of the.
Guys that we maybe didn't expect to have big weeks, but knew it was inevitable on week 17, Adam Humphreys, Rashad Higgins, Albert Wilson. Then Amari Cooper had another long touchdown. Yeah, he had that. 87 yards, I believe? I believe that was what it was as well. Yes, that was where Gruden picked up the phone and said, I accept. Yeah, I don't think it was on. Amari Cooper is going to be.
Also another really interesting, very polarizing guy this off season because if Crabtree is in fact cut, Crabtree is your number one guy. I'm going to tell you right now. Cooper will be a value next year. The reason being when you owned him this year and games mattered, he didn't deliver very often. And when he's delivered in these past couple weeks, you probably haven't even glanced at his average rising over the course of the year because it didn't matter for you.
I think come draft season, Amari Cooper is going to sneak his way up into the 2-3 range in rounds. You're saying too high? No, I'm saying I think that he will be drafted in the back. Because Crabtree will be gone. Yes. You're probably right. And the infinite potential of a young man who can catch the ball. Who's still young. Yes. After playing 10 seasons already. Right. Tyler Croft, two touchdowns, George Kittle, 100 yards from Jimmy G. And then Jack Doyle.
My start of the week. Oh, Jason? Hmm. And baby hands were strong. Sort of. I mean, he scored. He scored. Four for 38 and a touchdown. All right, let's move on. Pooped in his big boy pants. Wait, who started the week was Kirk Cousins? I believe it was Andy's. That's a good segue way. Look, everyone loved.
Everyone loved Kurt Cousins this week. I don't blame Andy. I loved him this week. Yeah. Taking on the giants. Playing for the money. But this was, this was very unfortunate, bad performance. The only thing he did was had a 12-yard rushing touchdowns. Triple interceptions. That's rare for it was a weird game for Kurt. Just one touchdowns. Yes. Just one touchdowns. Eli Manning in the same game.
was the same amount of bad. Yeah. Nick Foles. Is bad. I was afraid you were going to say it was. Oh. Yeah. Philadelphia fans. We've been down this road before as Cardinal fans after a nice year. When Palmer went down and the Cardinals still made it into the playoffs.
With Drew Stanton and we got to see it. No, it wasn't Drew Stanton. No, it wasn't. That was Ryan Lindley. That was bad. One and done. Well, and Sudfeld looked better than, I mean, he looked all right in this game. Just saying Philadelphia fans, I know your pain. I'm rooting for you. But. Best of luck. Yeah. And then, um, oh, the snake. Oh, I got a snake, man.
Blake, the snake, which was debuted without me here, without my consent permission or approval. He exists now. Sometimes you've got to have a party. 15 for 34. This was not a party. No, no one was not. Oh. 158. They lost again. I think they were just. Now they go into the playoffs with. They just wanted Tennessee in the playoffs. A little stink to them. I think they're all right. They were just, this was a bait and switch. They wanted the Titans in.
Yeah, because the Jags are in the playoffs often. They get to play games. Yep, with this situation. That's what happens. Crampus. Oh, Mike was right. If you want in the holiday season to be starting Doug Martin, you're going to get crampus showing up. Three. Three rushes for negative three yards. Negative three. That's how you end your tenure. Yeah. Where is he going? And what's he, is he going to be a committee back next year somewhere? At best. He's.
Or does he go the way of Ryan Matthew? He's 29 years old, right? He could. So, I mean, yeah, he could go the way of Ryan Matthews, genuinely. Because he's going to want more money than teams are going to spend on him. So when you guys aren't big Survivor fans. Brooks, do you ever watch Survivor? No, sir. So when you're voted off of Survivor before you go home. You extinguish your torch, right? You extinguish your torch, and then you go to what they call Ponderosa. And you go and stay with the other people that have been voted off. Is it a nice hotel?
I thought she was from the apprentice. So you go and you stay in this cabin and you get to eat food and you get to, you know, take shower and be fine. But then you come back out and you're part of the jury and you hang out. Doug Martin just took the long. His torch is extinguished. And he took the long walk. And now he's in that kind of sequestered area with Ryan Matthews and the others that have just stumbled off the field. Yes, Jason. He will turn 29 on January 13th.
But now he can focus his entire energy on trying to eat children around the holiday season. You know, I think what happened with him gaining a total of negative three yards is he was trying to break. I'm sure he was. He was trying to break the mold of having finished every single season with either 1,400 or 400 yards because he barely got 400. Did he have 406? He's like, if I lose.
Seven more yards. Did you not know he had an 87-yard run in this game, but then he lost 90 on the next play? That's how that happened. Jordan Howard. Oh, goodness. Hey, I pumped those brakes. Yeah, we knew the matchup was bad. Yeah, you got your two-toed horn out today. Look, this last week, tell me what I didn't get right. Well, there you go. All right, fair enough. Put nine for nine.
You got to hope that... You need the offseason to get humble. You got to hope that John Fox can... I apologize that Jordan Howard can find his Sean McVeigh now that John Fox is out of town. This was the worry... We got a lot of shade in the beginning of the year when we were all talking about like we loved Jordan Howard, but... Love the talent. Here's the key. And I learned this a long time ago in fantasy football. I really like running backs on good teams. Yes. I started drafting them on purpose.
because I like good teams. And when you're on a bad team, it's not that he doesn't have good games, it's that you get games. He's game scripted out, or they stink so bad they don't cross the 50, but once. Your goal line opportunities, everything, all your abilities to hedge a game, like, let's say Jordan Howard has a bad game, like you did last week, and he had a couple goal line touchdowns. Like those opportunities to save a bad week don't exist as much with bad teams.
Isaiah Crowell ended a very disappointing year, 15 for 21, Lamar Miller as well. Danny Woodhead has not been a factor thus far in Baltimore. That was kind of the worry. You not only had the injury, but you moving teams. You just can't automatically imbue stats. You cannot do that. Jerich McKinnon 12 for 44 let you down a little bit, and then Tevin Coleman was no good as well. What was with AJ Green this week?
It's been a bad end of the year. It certainly has. I mean, 10 targets, two receptions on 10 targets is no good. Yeah. Did he have his hands tied behind his back? I mean, Tyler Boyd and others got it done, but AJ Green shut down. Yeah, it's very rare to have the game where Andy Dalton is in the.
stud muffins category and AJ Green is in the pooped in his big boy pants. Yeah, that doesn't make any sense. AJ Green is necessary for a good game from Dalton. Des Bryant. He finished the year as he played it. Yeah, he's going to be another one of these. Again, this was one of those things where I didn't, I wasn't willing to imbue stats to Des Bryant with Dak Prescott.
Last year he was out for a lot of games. He was great last year. I will not say that he was great last year. I'll take my lumps on Des because, you know, on the season, I really thought Des was going to have a great season. I was higher on Des and the DAC combination, the year two, the health. And Des is super disappointed. You just have to change expectations for Des. That's the adjustment. Having big names.
on your team past their prime. That doesn't win you fantasy titles. You have to accept new realities for certain players. So if Des Bryant is now a wide receiver 2-3 guy, that's what he has to be for your team. The unfortunate part is he will not be drafted where he needs to be drafted because of his name. Possibly. I think he will tumble in drafts. But he's also his offseason is very murky. He's already come out, or at least his camp is coming out and saying he's not going to take a pay cut.
while Dallas will surely want him to take a pay cut, and they need to bring in another one. They need to bring in a wide receiver one to really help Des or fix the scheme. I don't know. I don't think Des is done. He's not the player he used to be, but I don't think he's done. He'll still be overdrafted because of the name.
Because Des Bryant, we had so many years of great success, and there will be some rationale, some things that happened to have a narrative. For instance, they've already fired his wide receiver coach. He's going to get a new wide receiver coach. He's going to be reborn. That was the problem. Michael Crabtree, T.Y. Hilton, Richard Matthews. Hilton was so disappointing. Oh, yeah. So disappointing. You really thought this matchup and this week was ripe for T.Y. Hilton. Yep.
It's been hard to predict, T.Y. Hilton this year. James and Crowder, Josh Doxton, they suffered from. They suffered from your cousins. From the cousins. Keel and Cole, four for 33 on eight targets. Suffered from Blake the snake. And then tight ends that disappointed, Carl Rudolph, Delaney Walker, Eric Ebron. Ebron. Ebron. I'd say as soon as you trust. Exactly. Fair, but Greg Olson.
On nine targets, one for ten. Did you see his frustration, though? He came off the field. He was running these routes. He was getting airmailed thrown behind him. I mean, those targets that count as targets. But he was just shaking his head, downtrodden, frustrated with Cam Newton. It was just one of those games, kind of. The Panthers, look, it's very simple. They are as good as Cam Newton is playing.
And on the season, Cam's had an overall pretty good season, but the last few weeks, Cam has been really poor. And, I mean, I don't think there's any player in the league that is responsible for the same percentage of offense that Cam is to the Panthers. So when... Russell Wilson disagrees. Yeah, maybe. But, man, when Cam is airmailing people, as he likes to do, it's bad news for the Panthers. That's why I definitely...
don't have the Panthers winning this week in the playoffs. All right, Jason, you got this. Oh, welcome one and all boys and girls, women, children, grandmothers, everybody, come on in, because today is the award nominations for the 2017 footies. Oh, yeah. Do you want to know who made the list for best running backs or tight ends or the award of all wards?
