November 16th. That's a very specific Friday. We are... Just another one. Just another Friday, November 16th. Why, every year? I don't think it's going to be Friday. Every year, Friday is November 16th. Really? Yeah, that's... It's the one day that stays the same. Adjust your calendar appropriately, please. Welcome to the show. This is the Fantasy Footballers podcast. Andy Mike and Jason back again. The rest of the matchups on the show today, the fantasy forecast.

We'll get you caught up on injury news. It's a Foot Clan Friday, and Brooks is here. Brooks is in the house. Oh, yeah. Brooks has enthusiastically declared this to be a great show. Oh, this is going to be the best. And that's all I need. I need the pat on the back from Brooks, because he knows all. He is the judge. Well, I mean, look, whenever you come in off of a dominating performance, a dominating call, like the greatness that is...

3:12 ↗

Ed Dixon, right? Red to Dickson. Look, shout out to the Footland. Ed Dixon is the stupidest fantasy thing to talk about. It's the stupidest fantasy darling that we could ever have. So irrelevant. It was Red Ed Redemption last night. Yes, it was Red Ed redemption for me. But shout out to the Foot Clan of which there were hundreds of you that literally when he caught that touchdown.

3:37 ↗

just had to tweet me. I couldn't even read all of them that were on the Red Dead Express. And that, well, that's fun to, I mean, when you can be excited over someone like Ed Dixon catching a touchdown, that means you're part of the team here. You're part of the family. I was not. My message to our Slack channel was just, oh, no. Yes. Well, we can talk about last night if we want to. Let's, no, let's get into it. Devante Adams.

4:07 ↗

Monster game. He's just so good now. He, we were talking about it before the show. Or relative to the other players, he's very good. But Devante Adams was not looking so hot when he entered the league. I mean, he was a high draft pick. He got an really early opportunity to showcase and be the man when Jordy Nelson went out with a second or third year. I can't recall. Stunk it up. And he was terrible. Tons of drops. Yes, he was dropping the ball all the time.

4:36 ↗

And he has since elevated himself into, I think he's in the elite category of wide receiver in the NFL now. He's frequently open. Aaron, like the reason he didn't have a touchdown last night is because Aaron Rogers under threw him on that 40-yard reception early on. Adams had to come back to the ball. Adams bailed Rogers out on several occasions of making some.

5:02 ↗

highly suspect decisions 10 for 166 a 57 yard catch 12 targets and was dominant him and Aaron Jones Aaron Jones yeah living up to the hype

5:16 ↗

11 for 40 in a touchdown on the ground. And then this was the great part. Five for 63 in a touchdown through the air. Looked electric. You barely saw Jamal Williams. One carry for Jamal Williams. Finally. Aaron Jones was out there. I mean, this is what you wanted to see. This is what we hoped for. And it was everything you wanted. Now, what we didn't want was what happened with other pass catchers on the team. Jimmy Graham left with an injury.

5:40 ↗

So if you started Jimmy Graham, you got what, one catch, 13 yards? Yeah, he has a thumb injury and Mike Silver from the NFL network is reporting. They fear it to be serious. So if you were counting on Jimmy Graham in this disgusting tight-in landscape, prepare to be even more disgusted when you hit the waiver wire. And then I have to mention my shart of the week. Oh, Marquez Valdez.

6:09 ↗

Cantling. Oh, not bad. Maybe the miniature Valdez Cantling. Like if you're in a league with micro-valuble micro points. Yeah. Oh, yeah. See, he got a little, he got kneecapped by the touchdown from Robert Tonian Harding. Yeah, that was, no. No. I was trying it out. I think Tonya Harding is. A good Tonya Harding reference, Jason's very current. I doubt he likes the reference.

6:36 ↗

Personally. Right. That was a beast catch. And this is the only time you're ever going to be able to talk about that player. It was a great catch. Is it? Jimmy Graham is going to be out. So here's the thing. And that dude was running free. Marquez Valdez Scantling had a bad game. And it was unfortunate. You started the week. I burned down with him. Oh, yeah. I started him against Jason in our league. So look, didn't work out. It didn't work out. I took my shot. But I would not. And the bullet came back and.

7:06 ↗

Boomering bullet. Boomering bullet. Here's the thing for everyone out there that's like, oh, he was raw. It was a bad play. Yada yada. Look, Jimmy Graham is out. I am still 100% in on Marquez going forward. It's not a double down. Look, this was in Seattle against a good Seattle defense. I mean, the wide receiver two for Aaron Rogers since 2011 is averaged at the end of the season. The wide receiver 15.

7:33 ↗

The rationale for Marquez is there. It was a bad game and there's bad games from everybody. And so I think, you know, shame on you clearly, Andy. But also shout out to you. You are currently the number nine ranked.

7:49 ↗

analyst on fantasy pros for the course of the season. So he's, Andy's trying to go. That's the blanket I took to bed with me last night. Andy is trying to go deep for his starts of the week. What you needed to do, Andy is pull out Jason Moore, make Juju Smith Shoots. I have a start every week. I have a note. Juju is the start of the week for me at wide receiver, where I seem to have problems. From here on out. From here on out for the rest of the season. Here's my concern. I recommend Juju Smith Schuster. He's a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh. Yeah, up and comer. Here's my concern.

8:19 ↗

One problem. What's that? He is on the road in Jacksonville this week. I have my just overall concerns for Valdez Scantling and the Green Bay offense as a whole. Because if you're watching what's happened, this wasn't the first time it's happened this year where Aaron Rogers, I don't know what these plays are that are coming from the sideline where Rogers, he has ample time. But unless Devante Adams is the first read, terrible things are happening.

8:48 ↗

And Aaron Rogers is getting sacked. We talked about it before the show. Other than Devante Adams, the other receivers are so young, right? We just talked about Devante Adams stinking at the beginning of his career. You have a learning curve. Like there was a time when I thought Devante Adams couldn't be a one because he only had two or three ability, right? Like you just didn't have that inherent connection. These other receivers, MVS included.

9:16 ↗

I don't know what they're doing when he breaks out of the pocket. There's no returning to the quarterback. There's no awareness of the, you know, in a scramble drill to find your way open. Part of that is the scheme, though, is that it's scramble drill every time. Mike McCarthy, his offense is so stale, stagnant, outdated, it's disgusting. It took him 11 weeks to feature Aaron Jones. I was going to bring that up. J.J. Zachary's tweeted out. He just worded it perfect. He said legitimately horrendous.

9:41 ↗

that it took this long to feature Aaron Jones. You have an Alvin Camara on your team, and you weren't using him because you're dumb. I thought about that last night. When I watched him come in for third down, I said to myself, I'd go, Andy Reid would have had him in there week one. Yeah. Week one, he would have been in. Sean Payton, week one, he's a third down back. Yeah, if Aaron Jones was drafted by the Saints, he would be smashing it. Yeah, he'd be a top five pick. Right now, on the Seattle side, we'll at least touch on it. Chris Carson was the featured running back.

10:10 ↗

despite coming back from his injury, had a strong game. Rashad Penny played clearly above Mike Davis. I think Rashad Penny was about to be in line for a bigger day, but he tweaked his hip on that big run. He did. Other than the big run, though, he was 1.8 to carry on his other seven runs. So, I mean, maybe you blame the hip, maybe not. I think it factored into his inefficiency. Eight for 46. He had a really nice run that. I thought he was getting caught in the backfield. Bad pursuit.

10:40 ↗

Carson, 17 for 83 in a touchdown. Mike Davis featured here and there, four for 26. Wide receiver-wise, I mean, it was a good game from Doug Baldwin, 7 for 52 in a touchdown. He also had a couple targets where Russell just missed him. But he loved the team in targets, 10 targets on the day. So you kind of saw both sides of the equation last night for Seattle. You actually saw a first half in which...

11:04 ↗

You know, it seemed like the wide receivers were in tune. And then, you know, in the second half, there's a little bit more of the running game. But, you know, Russell Wilson, 21 for 31, 2, 25, and 2. Yeah, he's, he's safe. I mean, that's okay. That's fine. Yeah, it wasn't world beater, but it's certainly a good outing. I basically, the biggest takeaway, though, was that. Start Ed Dixon over MVS. Ed Dixon is the best tight end in the history of the national football league. You know what? Let's celebrate something.

11:34 ↗

Foot Clan Friday. If you can listen to that drop and not smile, you're a horrible person. Or you started Marquez last time. One of those two things. Sorry, man. True. Foot Clan Friday, we give away a $55 gift card. And today's winner from Jointhefoot.com is Adelman. Adelman. It's just one word. It's like share.

12:09 ↗

All right. If you were a member of joining the foot over, you know. What if it's a deli man? Well, I... And he's really, really into delis. Then he would have spelled it like that, Mike. This is more like... Maybe. You know, it's a play on Edelman, but it's Adele the singer. You see what I'm saying? Adelman. It's a mashup. It's a mashup. It's a mashup. Worth $55 to Shotballers.com. Congratulations. Thanks for supporting the show. Thank you. Twitter. You can find us at the FF Ballers. Make sure you check out our YouTube.

Mike is live on Sunday mornings, getting you up to date on pretty much everything going on. Yep. Let's go ahead and talk through some injuries. What's it going to pay me, fly? Are you in or out? All right. Starting at the quarterback position, the big questions, Joe Flacco, the hip injury, what do we know and what do we expect? I don't think he's going to play.

13:07 ↗

He hasn't been practicing. They said he doesn't need to in order to go. Lamar Jackson missed Thursday, but it was with an illness. From what I have heard from some, you know, Twitter followers or some Twitter follows from the Baltimore area, the Robert Griffin situation. I think that's the way it's trending. Might happen. Yeah. And.
