I mean, that could go, that is truly a very wide swing. I would stay away from Baltimore pass catchers. They could have a great game. I would stay away from Griffin. He could have a great game. But I would stay away. The only guy I'm confident in is probably Alex Collins. I get the, there's certainly far more risk if you go from Flacco to Griffin. But I lean with the side that the team will still perform. Yeah, but someone like Joe Flacco, known for the deep ball, known for targeting John Brown.

126 passagesRobert Griffin's deep ball is very good. Are you thinking back like a few years? That's the last time we have to. It's been a really, really long time since we've seen. I would lose all confidence in past catchers there because what they do, it's not so much, does they have a good deep ball? It's what does the coach do with the offense to protect him from failure? What is the chemistry for a guy who has not been? Are you telling me you would not downgrade John Brown in the event that they changed quarterbacks? I will slightly, but it's not a.
Holy crap, I got to go find another option, like off the waiver wire or things like, I'm not going to panic on John Brown. Right, look, and this is based off of Robert Griffin in the preseason. That was, he looked sharp. I know I get it. It's preseason, so it's kind of hard to make takeaways, but at least didn't look terrible. Yeah, that's a plus to me. Yeah, him and San Bradford looked real good at preseason. Sam Bradford did not. James, yeah, he looked all right in the preseason.
He had a couple sharp outings. James Connor, concussion, practicing in full. He'll be in there. Joe Mixen popped up on the injury report yesterday was limited, was not listed on the Wednesday report. We don't know if this is maintenance or a new aggravation of the knee injury that kept him out earlier. What do you guys think about Joe Mixon? He's going up against the number one ranked running defense in terms of fancy points against. It makes them a little bit scary. This is why if you have a known handcuff.
That can produce. You should have already added them. If you have Joe Mixing, we said, Gio Bernard should be on your bench at this point of the season. Yep, 100%. He should play. It's not a great matchup, but you must have Gio. Keenan Allen, in or out. Added to the week 11 injury report, he's going to be in. Yeah, I'll go in. Mike Williams, groin injury? Yeah, exactly. The Bengals wideouts, AJ Green, the rumor of him coming back. He hasn't practiced.
In or out. I'm going to say out for the guy who should miss multiple weeks and isn't practicing. John Ross had a few receptions last week. Yeah, I think he'll play. Okay, you think he'll be in, groin injury? Yeah. Sammy Watkins, the Monday night game, in or out. He is expected to play. Marvin Jones, knee injury, didn't practice, in or out. Out. That's what you think? I believe. Chris Godwin, ankle injury. Didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday.
Uh, you're just going to have to monitor it. This could be 50-50. I'll lean out. You got, you upgrade, Humphreys? Pronounced with a, umphrease. Yes. Yeah, I would, I would, I would, I would, a little extra umphrease. I would give them a little boost, but it's not a boost into my lineup, so it's irrelevant. Uh, Kiki QT, in or out. I want to say out. He, he's, he's, he's practicing in a limited fashion.
But that's coming off of a by week. He doesn't want to get out there until he's 100%. I'm guessing they give him another week. And then lastly, Jordy Nelson with the knee injury, still sidelined. I think he's going to be out. Who exactly is catching the ball in Oakland? Roberts. No one. Seth Roberts. Could be Jared Cook. My pump the brakes. But at this point, there's no one else. It could be a long afternoon for Oakland. Yeah. Yeah, it could be a lot of checkdowns. All right. Let's get into the matchups.
Fantasy Forecast Continuing our matchups from yesterday, the 6-2-1 Steelers take on the 3-and-6 Jaguars. Wow. Jags are 5.5 point home dogs. Three and six. Yeah, it's a bad year for Jacksonville. 46.5 point over and under in this one. Look, the Steelers are just playing well right now, and the Jags are playing poorly. I expect those trends to continue in Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville defense has not been able to figure things out to the degree where they can save this team, right? Where they can overcome a bad game on offense from Blake Bortles or what are we expecting in this one? Amazingly, this is a rematch from last year's AFC divisional game where the Jacksonville Jaguars won 45-42 and Fournette had three touchdown.
Yeah, you know, I was surprised at the line, and I get it because the Steelers are on fire. Their offensive line and defensive line look unbelievable. But having Leonard Fournett back, being at home in a must-win divisional game, I think it's going to be... Not divisional, Jay. Oh, right. Conference. Conference. Sure. You know, I think it could be closer hard fought than the five-and-a-half home dog score.
insinuates. It will be a tough outing if Leonard Fournett can't get it going, but I think at home, Leonard Fornett has a pretty good game. The Steelers have been good against the run. They're fifth best on the season over the last six weeks. They're seventh best, so it's a tough matchup, but I do like that he's at home. They've also been great against the past. I don't think there's been a wide receiver with more than 75 yards receiving against them in six, seven weeks. The Joe Hayden effect, as Mike would call it.
You know, you're starting Antonio Brown. You're starting Big Ben. You're starting juju with confidence. Yeah, well, the Jags have allowed a top 10 quarterback performance three of their last four weeks. That's one of those things you don't realize it. Because overall, if you look at their seasonal ranking, the Jags are still very strong against the quarterback. But recently, things have been more falling apart. I have confidence in the Seeler side, and I'm good with the line of...
Five and a half. As am I. I think the Jags are just bad. I don't think Leonard Fornett will be able to get it going. Yeah, I guess where would you, where do you guys have Fournette this week? Last week, obviously, he kind of... He's a two, but because he gets volume. I mean, you still play Leonard Fornett. I'm not saying to bench the ball. Still has a one. He's the, he's my running back 12 as of this moment. So I think...
The opportunities are there. Whenever you've got a guy that's going to touch the ball 20 plus times, he has to be viewed as a one. Are you going to do the Vance Dance? Yeah, what do you think about Vance McDonald in the playoff game last year? He had 16 targets. And that's the one place where you can beat the Jaguars. Even though the Jaguars defense recently for quarterbacks hasn't been outstanding on the season, the sixth best against quarterback, six best against running back first against wide receiver.
But then 23rd at the tight end. So tight end is, I think Vance McDonald, even Jesse James, you know, because one of those two guys is going to have a good game. And if you have to take a shot, this is a decent matchup to do it. Are you telling me Jesse James could go full addiction in this one? Oh, the outlaw. The outlaw, Jesse and Red Dead. Oh, mercy. That's a strong fantasy team. Yeah, it is. Very high in robberies.
That's true. Any other thoughts from this one? I mean, I think we've hit all the big names. What about the Jaguar's receivers? Is there anybody? I mean, Moncrief's been... If I'm playing anybody, it's Moncrief, but this is not a matchup where I want to flex him. I'd rather look for someone else. You know what I want to do? The Raiders. Take on the two and seven Cardinals in Arizona. Oh, yeah. Cardinals are five and a half point favorites. It's a 40 and a half point over under. And, you know, look, the big storyline, David Johnson, the breakout last week. Right now, David Johnson, he's through the buy and he's still the number 10 overall running back on a season where, look, he's viewed as a disappointment. But again, I think he has the opportunity under Left, which coming up for the Monster Week,
He's a top, I mean, you know, he could finish inside of the top eight. Yeah, I mean. Three? Oh, you're saying on season. On the season. This week just looks unbelievable. You're at home, your favorite in Vegas. I mean, in the red zone. They're passing him the football. Yeah, they're passing them the football. You also have the fact that the Raiders, I mean, they have in the red zone just been getting rushed on at an unbelievable clip. I think.
You know, David Johnson obviously must start, but he could have a huge week. The other player here, and we talked about him yesterday is my start of the week that I think is a great option is Larry Fitzgerald. I thought MVS was your... Yeah, oh, Andy's start of the week, Larry Fitzgerald. Thank you. That's the new strat. She's like, no, that was your start of the week. We don't have any proof. Yeah, I mean, you've got double-digit targets.
In the two Byron Leftwich games, you've got the home matchup, you've got the defense of the Raiders. So, you know, all the, you know, cards are aligning for the Arizona Cardinals to have good games from their main pieces. Cards are aligning, eh? Oh, I see what you did. Are David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald. I would much rather play Larry over Christian Kirk in this game.
in Arizona. Now, is there any universe in a deep league you want to stream Josh Rosen because he's playing such a poor defense at home? It would have to be a deep two quarterback league. Yeah, he's far more of a deep two quarterback. Yeah. He's far more of a fan dual. Like a 15 team two quarterback league. We're all, we're all 30 quarterbacks are started. That's the one you're in on. Yeah. Even quarterbacks on by. He's more of a DFS play this weekend. But I know you want to play Larry over Kirk.
but offenses facing the Raiders have thrown a deep ball on over 15% of the pass attempts. And that's the second highest in the league. Now you're saying there's a shot. You're saying that people go deep against the Raiders for a reason. Yeah. So I think Krista Kirk has a chance. And if you are, if you're streaming tight end, we mentioned that Ricky Seals Jones is an option.
The Raiders are very, very bad against the tight-end position, and he is getting far more involved like David Johnson since the change to Leftwich. The real issue with Arizona is there are possibilities for all of these players outside of David Johnson, but they are the 31st ranked scoring offense in football.
I don't think that you're going to see such an ascension just because they're playing the Raiders that all of those guys are going to have value, right? We don't agree that David Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk, and you know, you're going to have the highest level of certainty from David Johnson, and beyond that, you are risking something with the 31st ranked scoring offense in the league. Yeah, sure. You're definitely capped. Doug Martin? Would you rather play, sorry, but I just want to stay on tight end. Would you rather play Jared Cook on the opposite side of the ball or Ricky Seals Jones?
