Okay. Okay. And Jason Moore. Howdy. I am looking forward to answering listener questions today. Yes, it is a mailbag episode. We are answering as many as we can on the show today. We know people are, you know, they're in trade season. There are some offers sitting on your desk, and you as the general manager of your fantasy football franchise are ready to make some decisions. Don't blow it. Don't screw it up. Don't trade for the wrong guys. We'll give you the best advice we can today. So we're going to get into that.

And you guys got anything going on other than, you know, apparently an obsession with beef jerky? I have a team that has like four buy weeks and I need to drop some people that I don't want to drop. That's time for two for one trades special. You come, you come get them. What are you dealing with right now? Who you got on buy? I got, apparently I love the Panthers. I have Cam Newton. I got Greg Olson. I got the Panthers D as well. So he just.

The Panthers are on by as well. We found out this week. The Panthers are on by. News alert. Yeah, you know, you don't get to start. Jonathan Stewart. Are you disappointed? Cricket. You had Jonathan Stewart. I did, but I got rid of him. Thank you, Andy. Well, I had him, too, and I got rid of him. Thank you. He's like hot potato. I've got Mike Evans for him now. Who knows where he's going to land? But that's not true. I know he's going to run for 9 for 50.

Or not nine for 50, maybe 15 for 50. There you go. So let's get into the mailbag. Yeah, let's do it. Mailbag. Mailbag. All right, straight up trade question. Straight up. Mike Evans for James Jones, would you do that trade? How insane is that trade? What a world we live in. A just crazy world and everything I saw from the Packers tells me.

I'm not sure. I am still going to take the Mike Evans side. I am probably the least high of the three of us on Mike Evans. So I'd be surprised if either of you don't. However, I think, you know, when Devante Adams comes back, he's still going to be the number one or two in targets. And so I would take Mike Evans. I would take Mike Evans. I would take Evans. Let me throw this out there before we get to the next question.

Would either of you guys like to make a water bet with me? Yeah, I would love to. We were talking before the show about Eddie Lacey. Obviously, his workload has been a little bit problematic. We also talked about Arian Foster, and so I'd love to make a rest of season bet. So put this in there. This would be from week five on, rest of season. Lacey versus Foster. I take Foster. No injury clause on either side.

What do you think? Absolutely. I am down, yes. Waterbed. Arienne! Breaking news, Aaron Foster is dead. No, he's not dead. He's fine. He's playing on Thursday, and then you guys are going to regret the deal. He's your number two, right? Correct. I've taken away the number one for my ranking so that they're protected. Or? Or I put Eddie Lacey's my new number one. There you go. Lacey's fine. Lacey's totally fine. He's great.

I mean, he's going to have huge games this year. But he's also sharing some snaps. He hasn't had a big game this year. And he's got a little ankle problem, too. We don't, you know. It's not just Arian. Arian doesn't have the monopoly on injuries, guys. He's got a large market share of it, though. He's going to have the monopoly of the workload, though, this week. So, all right, Adam in Fantasy Island. Wait. Sounds like a wonderful place. I'm coming. He needs two wide receivers to start alongside OBJ.

He has Matthews, Aiken, and Alan Robinson. Who would we take this week? Now, it's interesting you bring up Kamar Aiken because Aiken is the number one right now playing the Browns at home. He needs two wide receivers to start along. Odell Beckham Jr. Two more along. Jordan Matthews is absolutely in for me. It's a plus matchup. If you watched the game, Sam Bradford just missed.

Jordan Matthews for a touchdown that I believe turned into a Miles Austin touchdown, something along those lines. But Jordan Matthews is still getting a ridiculous share of the targets up in Philadelphia, so he's in for me. I take Matthews and Robinson. Yep. And I don't get too cute with Kamar Aiken. You're not Aiken for some bacon? Yeah, you've got good options there. Aiken is a good streamer when you're out of options.

He also says he listens every day. And he feels smarter than everyone in his league because of it. Well, thanks. You like Yogi Bear? You know, I wouldn't have mentioned it if that wasn't a complete fact. All right. Dave in Boston. Dave in Boston. Sammy Biscuit, Sam Bradford, or Carson Palmer at quarterback. Oh, man. Dun, dun dun. Cardinals playing the lions. It's on the road.

It is on the road, and Carson had his highest yardage game last week, but only one touchdown. Yeah, he's just, the game flow and market correction of the touchdowns happened to Carson Palmer. I still trust Palmer every week. And Sammy Biscuits, what was the matchup? Saints. He's playing the Saints, but he's in Philly, so I'm going to take Sammy Biscuits. I'm going to take Carson Palmer.

I will go with Palmer. So Mike Evans or Vincent Jackson at wide receiver this week. We know Evans had a tough matchup last week against the incredible. Stormin Norman. He's awesome. He's very good. I think he broke some, I'm going to misquote it, but he broke some record of pick sixes. What is shaking? Who's shaking the desk? Oh, is that me? Sorry about that. I was like, what is going on? I'm amped up. Sorry about that. Eddie Lacey walked in the room or something.

So we got... It's like that you see the straight up. You know Eddie Lacey's coming. When you're... When your water, your glass of water starts pulsing like the Tyrannosaurus tracks. I know. You're like, oh, crap. You're coming. And then you're disappointed when Richardson walks in. So, hide the Burger King. Eddie Lacey's coming. All right. So Tampa Bay wide receivers. Was that the question?

Yeah, I guess so. Tampa Bay wide receivers, because they're going up against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jaguars. Jaguars. I believe that Mike Evans is going to have the better opportunity there. There's no true elite guy like a Norman to shut him down. For me, you're really talking flip a coin. Evans is the talented, more talented guy. But what's going to come down to, I think every week is just who gets the touchdown?

And I would say the probability leans towards Evans, but this isn't just a, it's not a slam dunk. I'm going to, I'm going to plug Evans in weekly, but knowing that Vincent Jackson can easily get the touchdown. This is exactly, this is exactly why I don't want either of them on my team right now. I don't want Mike Evans because you pretty much have to plug him in week in and week out. And I, you know, I want guys that have a higher baseline that aren't going to just.

one week helped me win and one week helped me lose, I would have drafted Tori Smith. Yeah, I guess I just don't see Evans that way. I mean, I like him a lot. I'm just saying... 17 targets, and then he faced Norman. He's still got eight targets. Those are the only two games that we have. I like them both, especially this week. I'm playing both of them. I plugged Vincent Jackson into my lineup this morning.

But so either I would lean Evans, but just understanding that maybe Vincent Jackson gets the touchdown and has the higher output. So that's going to be a very difficult... Evans was 12 touchdowns in his last 12 games last year. Yeah, he's... But no, I'm not disagreeing. I'm just pointing out the stats. People can make their own decision. I don't disagree. There are going to be games. I mean, Roddy White had games that are better than Julio every week, too. I look at it somewhat similar. Not anymore, Roddy White. No, no, I'm talking like... Last year? Yeah.

He came out and said he's super disappointed because he believes he's getting open, but he's not part of the progression for Mount Ryan. And I would agree with the target numbers. Uh-oh. I know. I know. All right. Let's talk about Jeremy Macklin for a second. Okay. Ready, Mike? No. Set? Oh, you're not going to...

You're not going to say an apology to Jeremy McLean? Because my... Fine. Don't. All right. Chris in Salem, Oregon. I have a real hard time deciding what to do with Macklin. He's been offered Lamar, Miller, and Jonathan Stewart for him. So talk to me a minute about Macklin and then talk to me about this trade. So he's offered Lamar and Jay Stu. Is he selling high? Is he buying low? Is he trading reliability for meh? Here is my deal with Macklin. My...

My arguments against Macklin have never, ever been against his talent. Jeremy Macklin is a fantastic receiver. My question was, with Alex Smith, the risk-proof quarterback, can he get Macklin the ball enough? And the answer the last couple weeks has been yes. And his target share is, I think.

close to 30% of the targets every single week. So, yeah, moving forward, Macklin is absolutely a guy, and I would not trade him right now for Miller and Stewart, and that speaks greatly of how I've fallen on Stewart and Miller. It depends. This one depends on what you have on your team, too. I mean, if you need a running back, I don't mind buying low on these guys. Give Miller another shot in a couple weeks when the team's turned over. But I feel like Macklin was this...

delicious piece of cake that you saw at a party and it was sitting on this kind of, you know, ugly plate. And you didn't appreciate the cake for what it was. You were just focused on the plate it was sitting on. And then you finally took a bite. And it's really good. It's delicious. Macklin is a delicious piece of cake. There is no... There is no...

I agree. I think that the plate does matter in the sense that it's not just a bad looking plate. It's like... Not once the cake's in your mouth. But what if the plate is like scalding hot and you have to grab the cake by the plate? That's a more accurate analogy here. You could burn your hands. But here's another... Some cake tastes good no matter what plate it's on. That's true. It's just a matter of... I'll eat it off the dirt.
