finally came through. They were super last week. Yeah, and I still thought I was going to lose for a short while, but I got it done. I think you had the second most points scored in the league. Yeah, and this time I actually won with the second most points scored in the league. That's good. Brooks, congratulations. You are my co-owner for that awesome team. Thanks, Jason. You're welcome also. How'd you doing Dynasty? Yeah, okay. I love you, Brooks, but I beat you.

Brooks is experiencing the pain of fantasy football that many of you out there may be experiencing. It happens to the best of us. Outside of our control, Brooks has the most points scored in our dynasty league, the most. He's been dominant and he's got a true competitor. He's two and four. Ouch. Hey, I want to bring this up. For the Foot Clan, a lot of people out there struggling with, you know, my team's been a great team has.

a terrible record, right? Brooks, most points scored. This happens everywhere. And Mike has advocated for a scoring system in the past. I just want to bring it up real quick so that maybe the listeners haven't heard of this before and they're interested in bringing this up to a vote next year. Mike, why don't you explain? Sure. It's essentially that there are two points available per week. You get a point for winning your matchup.

And then you get a point for being a top six score. We moved to this format in my Money League two or three years ago, and I've really enjoyed it. The league has really enjoyed it. It helps out. It helps ease the pain of situations like Brooks, where you just are snake bait. Your team is dominating, but you just keep getting the worst possible match on a week-per-week basis. And then you don't just get crushed. Your soul is not destroyed.

And I believe some platforms now are, they have this as kind of an option in the platform. We, this particular league, we do track it offline. But there are more and more platforms that are making this available. Is that a lot more work on your commission? Not a ton. I mean, he puts up post once a week. So then the full standings are offline? Yes. The official ones are offline. And then he sets the playoff matchups after.

like correct in the system after the fact but that's neat because if you if you get at one of those i scored the second fewest points in the league my team sucked but i won you you still get a win yeah you got a win but you didn't get the you didn't get the bonus and if you scored do you have divisions in that league no so it's a league wide point total correct yeah so obviously you can you know a thousand ways you could

You could set that up. Sure. It takes some of this thing away from Brooks's situation here where maybe this past week he would have gotten a point. Yeah. But I mean, he's not his climb out of the bottom. I mean, he's not.

He would not be three games behind at this point. What I really like about that is, you know, some people say, well, that's why, you know, it shouldn't be head-to-head matchup. It should be, you know, just whoever scores the most. And that takes so much out of fantasy. Yes. You, the weekly matchups, the playing against your opponent, the putting in their face and getting them a signed Tevin Coleman card when you beat them. Thanks, Brian. It's a, it's a matter of rooting for something.

You know, when you have an head-to-head matchup, you root against something and you root for something. It's not just a matter of, you know, cumulative point. That's why I asked about the divisions. I was saying, like, you know, divisions are another fun way to build rivalry and things like that. I just got word that Alfred Morris actually locked himself in a handicapped restroom stall. That's right. That's what happened. He could not escape. What happened? Where was the news about this, San Francisco? I think I'm glad. Jason said he listened to the show yesterday. Welcome back, by the way. Yes. He said he listened to the show, and I had said, you know,

If it's between, if Bereda's active, I actually said go with Brita. Right. Woo. Yeah. I mean, if you started Alfred Morris, you had a frustrating. I'm so sorry. A frustrating night and it was, it was terrible. And I agree. Nothing. Nothing came out from any beat reporters that I've seen out of San Francisco. All of a sudden, Rahim. Mustard. Yes, I actually verified it's mustard.

Oh, it's mustard. Rahim Mustard. And he looked very fast. Oh, he was great. I mean, he was, he was outstanding. Morris was zero for zero. Yeah, so that was the big storyline, lots of players heading into Monday night, needing just a few points from Alfred Morris and just having their hearts broken. Mostert was 12 for 87. Yeah, Alfred Morris is done.

I mean, unless news comes out now that it was, oh, Alphra Morse was actually very injured or got lost on the way to the stadium. Well, it's weird because, what was it, like middle of the third quarter, he was in the game. And he got a carry, picked up the first down. It was called back on a hole. But it was like, it would have made more sense if he just wasn't. Right. You know, it was like, oh, he was injured. We didn't play him. It's like, what? So he had a decent workload the first five games this season.

It looked up until the final moments of the night that Matt Breda was just going to miss the game. There was no talk of Rahim Moster doing anything. And then he was a complete no-show. So this is just fantasy football at its worst. And you stack all that on it being a Monday night where you can't pivot. You can't make an adjustment. You're stuck, right? Like if you were a Morris owner and you heard Breda was playing, maybe you would have wanted to pivot off of him, but you couldn't unless you had a Packers running back.

But last night, the Packers escaped with the victory. You had flashes of success from the various rookie whiteouts on Green Bay. But ultimately, the headline was Devante Adams. 10 for 132. Two touchdowns on 16 targets. None of the rookie wideouts had more than six total targets. And Marquez was ultimately the leader of that pack. But a big catch on the final drive by EQ. And Jamona.

Had a catch as well. So look, Aaron Jones, again, over five a carry, but only eight carries. It was so weird. They came out. And then the touchdown called back hurt you because now you got nothing from him. Right when the game started, I had to listen before I could watch. And I was surprised Aaron Jones gets the start right off the bat.

was awesome, got the touchdown, it was called back, you know, missed it by an inch or whatever. And then I, this was, this was Aaron Jones coming out party. That's how it seemed. And then all of a sudden they said, no, let's, let's share the load. And this is why I said, you know, I've been beating the drum of I don't want a Packer running back. I just don't, I don't want to have to play the roulette. I don't want Jamal Williams on my roster. If you have to have one, it's clearly Aaron Jones. But I get it. And the thing is is,

Apparently you can't even predict a matchup. At home against C.J. Bethard in San Francisco, you would have thought the game script wouldn't have been what it was, which was the Packers are on the comeback trail, not the other way around. You know, if they're out ahead, do you see 14, 15 carries maybe? But how do you know right now? The Packers are so disheveled. I've never seen a team look as bad and as good. It was like a sandwich and the middle was poop because it started and it was great.

They were on fire. It almost seemed like Mike McCarthy said, I'm going to be innovative for the beginning of this game. I'm going to script out like 10 to 15 plays. And then I'm going to get back to my roots with the poop roots. And then I'm going to finish this game by just handing it over to Aaron Rogers. The poots. The poots. Yeah. So, look, it wasn't good. But let's talk about Marquis Good on the other side. That's where I want the conversation to go. Four for one, 26. Two huge receptions.

Which were, I mean, these were excellent plays by C.J. Bathard recognizing what the defense was doing and throwing Goodwin open. Is, is this just the one-time thing against Green Bay? Or are we talking about Markey's Goodwin is returning to form? He is back to being.

Marky's great win. I'm not going to overreact to this personally. He's on people's waiver wires right now. He is, yes. He's available. He's on in 43% of leaks. He's available to be picked up, and he is a fine flyer. I think what you saw in the deep ball, he's got the opportunity to do that. So if you're going to pick someone up from the waiver wire, throw him in your roster, you want that upside. But you had Trent Taylor out. You had Pierre Garcin almost missed hobbled. The wide receiving core. Dante Pettis was out. Dante Pettis is out. This was like.

one of those opportunities where you should have been able to see this one a little bit early and say, this is a pretty good matchup for Goodwin. So I'm not going to overreact and say he's great when he's back. Robbie Anderson or Marquise Goodwin, who would you rather pick up and potentially start? Goodwin. Ooh. I actually agree. Because I think Goodwin's the best wide receiver on his team. Yeah, that's fair. And Robbie Anderson, I think Robbie Anderson is probably the best wide receiver on his team.

Who would you give that to? Curse? Terrell Pryor. He's the best at running fast. Yeah. And catching contested catches. But I think Goodwin is more well around it. But it's a fine line. I mean, Mike, do you agree with Goodwin? I lean that way, but Robbie Anderson could see a lot of opportunity coming. You just said, well, you should have seen the game script coming for Goodwin. Well, Robbie's got that with Quincy Noon now out for probably four to five weeks. Terrell Pryor is dealing with.

with the groin. Ah, yeah, my groin. Does Morris missing last night, last question before the news, does him missing basically, you know, being non-existent one snap? Does this open the floodgates for Matt Brita, assuming he's healthy? In your mind? I think it's, I just think that it's most stert, or mustard, Colonel Mustard. Colonel Mustard will be the one stealing snaps away. You can't give, what you've seen from Burita.

The dude has gone down three times with season-ending injuries, only to be Lazarus and return the next week, but you can't give him 20-plus touches a week. But from a physical profile, I like the fact that Mosterts the guy stealing the snaps because you saw Breda get a touchdown in the goal line situation, whereas Morris kind of proto. That's fair. He personifies a goal line back, whereas Moster doesn't. Matt Bureta is. He's going to be great. To me, he's a locked and loaded RB two.
