targeting Mike Evans. It was pretty ugly. You actually saw a bump for Deshawn Jackson. So it's three games. I bet I'm going to project that Mike Evans will actually take a slight dip. And he's already kind of on that cusp of a one, two. So I think by the time redraft season is really going, he's going to be a wide receiver two. And then I'll still be confident that he's going to return value. Ronald Jones, he wants to know about the bust. He wants to know about the bust.

187 passagesYeah, Ronald Jones is a bust. I think you're doing what they wanted you to do. Charge, how do you feel about Evans? I think he will slide. I think he's going to slide a lot more than you were suggesting. I could see him sliding half around, maybe even more than that on this news. There were already a lot of trepidation. So already half of your league was like,
No chance. I'm taking him where he's going to go. Now he had two or three more people into that mix. Now he's going to fall a lot. And I might actually think about, I might actually be thinking about him becoming a value guy if he's going to fall to the top of the third round. Sure. It's going to be pretty compelling. And I think that's going to happen in a lot of leagues. I do know that the opening schedule is a little bit difficult for Tampa Bay. So Fitz Patrick does not have the best track record in his splits against top NDs versus bottom Ds. So it could be a rough start, but I do agree if.
If Evans falls, which... That'll be really interesting to see you. Because it's not Evans that's being suspended, you don't lose those games, it'll be interesting. I tend to think he will not fall far enough to become a really good value given the first three games. He might be a perfect trade candidate, though, after the poor schedule with Fitzmagic. Next question. He's very serious. This mic was...
I did not anticipate how tall this might be. You must be this tall to answer a question. First of all, what's your name? Noel.
From Minneapolis. Noel, so nice to meet you. Thank you. Actually, it's actually great to meet you guys because you three are the exact reason why as soon as I told my league mates about you three, these two troublemakers right here are the reason why I lost the last two years. They won the championship the last two years. Congratulations, fellas. Congrats. Because they said I want to do a fab league, and I apparently don't know how to do fab. Okay. No, my question for you guys is for our league.
We took actually inspiration from you three where we actually do a podcast for our own league. Love it. Awesome. And one of the things I wanted to ask was when you guys talk about, or when you did the show for your own league, what were the things that you talked about? What did you keep interesting to keep your league engaged? Sure. Look, we're playing a game about a game. And so we were, I think.
aiming to make it sound way more important than it really is. So it was reviewing trades as though they were the most important thing that you could possibly do. It was insulting players for their moves and presuming that you know everything about it and putting them on blast. The reviewosaurus rex that we have on this show that you are all probably familiar with. That was actually started on their show. It was the tradeosaurus rex. And every week they talk about the best trade. And I am not joking.
Because I wasn't on that version of the podcast. I would make trades. You were trying to make the show? To make the show! You darn right, I did. And I was so pissed when I wasn't the tradosaurus ranks. I was like, are you kidding me? That's so worthy. And we would check out who, what start sit decisions did people make? Did you botch something? Oh, we had power rankings too. You get some power rankings in there. But I love it. I love that you're doing that. That's amazing.
And just lots of garbage. Just talking so... It's all it was. It doesn't matter if you're losing. Because they don't have a microphone. Yeah. The very first question these two asked me this year is, hey, Noel, you still want to do fab this year? I'm like, okay, fine. All right, I get it. I haven't made the playoffs. Time to step up. You can listen to the show, too. Next question. Right on. Now you can raise it back up. Yeah. Hi, I...
Hi, I am E. I am E. Lai from Chisago. And I am in a 10-person auction keeper league. And I am keeping, I get to keep three people. I am keeping Odell for eight, Kamar for two, and then for my third spot, I sort of need some help. Sure.
I have Goff for one. I have Alan Robertson for one. And I have Hunt. Okay. And a single quarterback? So two wonderful, amazing. Cheap keepers. Jared Goff is gone because I would only pay a dollar for him in the upcoming auction. It's between Hunt and who was the middle? Robinson for a dollar or Hunt for 12?
Where do you lean? Yeah, charge. It's not close. Hunt's going to go for 30 or something at your auction, and, you know, you're saving so much money. It's the value difference. To me, it's all about the value difference, and to me it's not close. I completely agree. The fact that we earlier brought up the fact that Hunt could be a bust, but the value is, it's still, it's so much hunt here that even with that factored in, the answer is Kareem Hunt. That is a really nice three-pack to walk into the season with. Yeah, congrats. Thanks for the question. Awesome.
Next question. Final question. With the I Love Michael Keaton shirt. I love Michael Keaton. I love Michael Keaton. I found a pair of overalls in the dumpster last year that said Mike Evans and charge. I think they were yours. Bodyed. Local angle. My question is actually a question of the heart and the head.
So I have players that with my heart I want to take and with my head, I know it's not a good idea. Jerich McKinnon, my heart says yes, my head says no. And then there's a guy in Buffalo named Calvin Benjamin, or my head says yes, but my heart says no.
So my question is, who are your heart and head players? Oh, okay. I was going to say my bowels say yes to Kelvin Benjamin. I did the van stance earlier, so give it to me straight. Sure. So heart and head players, do you guys have someone on the top? I'll take somebody off the top of my mind.
Sony Michelle is an awesome player, and I think he can be a phenomenal back, but he's a Patriots running. So you want to ignore that part of it. Yeah, my heart is like, I'm all in this guy, and you watch all this college film, and he's devastating opponents. But he's going to be a Patriots running back. And we all know how hard it is to figure out which guy, which game. And so my head says no, my heart says, Sony, Michelle, I want to spoon you.
Oh, oh my. Oh, oh my. A player I'm going to throw out who was one of my favorite running backs through the draft process. And then a team made it a little bit more difficult because they traded up to get him in the second round. I apologize for doing this to you, Jason. But Carry on Johnson is my heart and head player because my heart tells me that...
What I saw from Carryon Johnson was a really freaking good running back, and that offensive line is far more improved than people truly realize. But Garrett Blunt is still there. He was still a factor this past season. They already have a dedicated pass-catching running back. Can Carry-on Johnson really take over a workhorse or just even a majority?
roll on that team. So my head is, my head's telling me I'm out. Yeah, it's Josh Gordon for me. It's Josh Gordon. Because you see, not only does he, I mean, have all the tools, but he's also produced before. And then I have to realize where he's at. I have to realize that Tyrod Taylor and the yardage. It doesn't stack up to what I hope for. I'll probably still draft him. To me, it's a guy I loved coming out of college. I loved having him last year.
My heart is all in on Kenyon Drake. I just love his talent. My head says he's not going to get the ball enough for where he's being drafted. So he is a true heart versus head guy that I have a, I want to draft him and I'm not going to. I think that answers another question, which I tend to at the end lean to my head over my heart. Which one of you, which one of your body parts liked Kelvin Benjamin?
Not my torso, not my torso Just follow a different body part That could have gone bad Alright Next question Hey I'm Dan from Big Lake I lost What up Dan? I lost Hunter Henry for the year I was wondering if you guys had somebody outside the top 15 to maybe target
I'm going to bring a name up. Yeah, outside the top 15? Dynasty. Austin Safarian Jenkins. Yes, that's where I was going. In Jacksonville. I think last year we wanted to see a little bit more. He ended up being a guy that didn't stretch the field. But he's a really good player. He's still super young. A lot of good reports on ASJ in Jacksonville. And the way that the depth chart at the wide receiver position is shaking out, we don't really know. I mean, Mark East Lee was really bad from a metric perspective last year. He's not necessarily a one.
I think ASJ could have a very important role. And we, you know, Mercedes-Lewis was not a ASJ type of talent and still ended up in the end zone from time to time. So I think that ASJ is a target way outside the bounds of the top 15. You guys... But Trey Boo-Boo's a...
He's like an eighth round pick right now. He's going early. My favorite tight-end sleeper. Yeah. He made you remove your pants, and you did the Vance dance last year in the playoffs. I love him. Not during the season. His name is? Vance McDonald. There you go. You're welcome. There's already very positive reports coming from beat reporters for the Steelers.
They are. They're talking them up already that they're going to feature him in the offense. So I'm very excited. Their coaches are here. They're screaming that they're going to do it. Charles, who's your sleep? Let me ask you guys. Anything to Ricky Seals Jones in year two? I almost went Ricky Seals. There we go. Yes, it has happened. I knew that one day I would grow up and work really hard and sit on a stage and have seal noises made in me.
And I did it. You know, there were flashes of, there were flashes of real, of signs of development for him, and then he disappeared for a game and get like, you know, no catchings, no targets. I mean, he's a past catcher. That's what he is. He can catch the ball. So I think, you know, they talk about featuring him. They talk about using him. He's a good outside the top 15-Aid. I have monitored Germain, Gresham. That's what it's about. Is Gresham going to be ready for the beginning of the season? I don't think he will. He probably won't. Yeah, I don't think he's going to be ready for the beginning of the season. And the, the combination between Christian Kirk.
and Ricky Seals Jones, college teammates, you know, they're working out together. They're involved in this offense. It's a good name. Yeah, I really like. All right. We have one final question coming in. Thank you. Thank you very much. You Samuel? Samuel Bennett has the last question, and Samuel is actually, not only is it his birthday. What? Which we found out after he won this. Oh, happy birthday. He was the official winner.
of the autographed Adam Thieland. I'm going to give it to you right now. Stefan Diggs helmet. Look at that. Oh, he takes his hat up. He's going to try to put it on, the replica helmet. Good luck. I wouldn't. What is this? He's got gifts for us. These are spectacular. Minnesota nice. Minnesota nice. Wow. Yes. Well, you can't play in it. You don't get to become them.
But you have our final question, and congratulations. We're giving away an autograph piece of memorabilia at each of our shows, courtesy of pristine auction, so congratulations, and happy birthday. And thank you. I just started a little small business, and that's my shameless shot. Into the mic. Turn the mic up. Taller than other people. You gave Josh some love. That's nice. Wow. He was one who answered the email. Yeah. So, asking for a friend.
