People making decisions apparently five weeks into the year about their futures and whether they think they are contenders or pretenders or planners for next year. She's been popping. Last week, I was trying to make a trade where I was basically playing for the future. Because I'm like, I'm on the bubble. I'm in the playoffs right now. But I didn't have the team that looked like it could win. And I was trying to...

Then I benched Rico Dowdle and gave you confidence that you could, like, you didn't lose. That was helpful. And I have withstood victories through the CeeDee Lamb injury. And so then last night, I decided I found a good deal where I sold some of my future assets. And I'm in now. And then that inspired Papa Josh to say, well, I'll see your... Papa Josh threw these picks. He's like, are we going to be alive tomorrow? I don't know. Yeah. I think he's quitting the league after this year. Because he traded all of next year's draft, basically. Yeah. He went all in.

So, yeah, we've had a lot of trade stuff going on. We had the waiver wire just go through. Oh, yes. We have to bring this up. Josh, thank you for reminding us. You know, when you get the alert and you're like, and it's for sleepers. And we play on sleeper, yeah. Trade has been accepted. You're like, ooh, what is this? So, this is last night. We all scramble. Fire it open. Yeah, big trade. Big trade has gone through. Jason got Josh Jacobs. And Jason responds to his own trade with white guy blinking gif. Yeah, you're not allowed to do that.

And we're like, wait, hold on. It couldn't have surprised you. Yeah, no, it did. You were surprised by your own trade? This wasn't. You're like, whoa, look at this trade that I did. Yeah, well, it was one of those things where I had made this offer. It was my co-manager and I. We were in the office. You sent the offer. Yeah. But I send plenty of offers. Okay. And I don't always expect them to go through. I was going to say, they must be bad because not many of your trades go through. Yeah, exactly. That's the point. And so then I just saw a trade has been completed.

And like I was saying, I was kind of on the bubble. Am I in? Going for this year? Am I not? And then it was like, oh, okay. It went through. I guess I'm in. So, yeah. That was me being surprised. It's like when a dog farts and is like, whoa. Yes. Who did that? Yeah. We were all trying to figure out who put this trade through. Oh, my gosh. It did throw me off because when I saw the gift, I was like, oh, it must not involve you. And the trade, for those wondering, I traded A.J. Brown, who was my trade away candidate,

and my second round pick, and Travis Hunter for Josh Jacobs, my trade four candidate, and Chris Olave. Yeah, it was a good trade. It was a good trade. Have you seen those neutral pass rates for the Eagles over the last five weeks? Oh, they got to be. I would pull it up. They were passing a lot last week. I'm not logged into Twitter. Oh. Sean Tucker. Yeah, I care right now. I'll be a cert. I don't think you understand the rules of the game. I said, yeah, I care. Okay. You're going to have to go quick. I got a big list. All right. But Justice Hill. No. Chris Rodriguez. No. Bashal Tootin. Yes. Oh, you do care with Tootin? Mike's taking this one. I got it.

All right. Xavier Scott. No. Ollie Gordon. No. Isaiah Davis. Yeah, a little bit. Brashad Smith. Deep, deep league, yeah. Darius Slayton, Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert. Nope. Zach Ertz. Jason cares, but I do not. No, I don't either. Taysom Hill. No. And then, all right, there you go. Defenses is whatever. So, if you did not get the pickups that you were hoping for, you didn't bid correctly, or you didn't have the roster room yet, you hadn't dropped somebody, whatever, we want to give you every week some backup options, some players that you might be able to pull off the waiver wire and spot start.

Jason and I went with tight ends this week. I want to hear Jason's. Well, okay. I won't share mine then. Well, since we already said Jason does while you guys don't. Zach Ertz, to me, is a guy that is going to be clearly dropped in basically every league out there. Why? But why? Because he had a goose egg. He did nothing. But that's why he likes him. He had a bad game. And in this game, that was the breakthrough of Bill Krosky having his monstrous game. Jaden Daniels didn't do much in that game. It was a really weird game script and one target to Zach Ertz.

But that's obviously not what usually happens with Jaden Daniels and Zach Ertz. We have plenty of history here of those two out there together. I mean, he was the tight end eight last year with Jaden Daniels. The first two games of the season, he was the tight end nine and the tight end two, scoring double digit fantasy points both weeks. Then Jaden Daniels was injured. Snap counts were very high then. Did you know that? Yeah. 90%. For one of them, 64% in the other. And so my point is, you look and it's like three bad weeks in a row. But two of those were Marcus Mariota.

You shouldn't have been playing him anyways. And one bad game with Jaden Daniels doesn't mean Zach Ertz is going to vanish from this offense. I think it's a mistake. I am speaking as someone who is currently trying to figure out the tight end position. I didn't get any of the big, big names. I tried to bid up for Darren Waller. I got outbid. I tried to trade for Tyler Warren. I got out trade offered. And so I'm still rostering Zach Ertz right now. I picked up Meowson Taylor. I'm trying to figure it out. But I think it would be a mistake to just drop Zach Ertz and say, well, he's done.

Yeah, no, that's fair. And I want to flag another tight end who played 92% of snaps, who had 81 yards receiving. It's Kate Otten. So you're talking about this tight end landscape. We've seen him be fantasy relevant for multiple weeks in a row. It's just interesting. Four for 81 is a nice line. Playing almost every snap. That's great. And then Godwin's really not been anything yet. Not yet. Evans is not back yet. I think Kate Otten might be worthy of a spot start. All right. And I want to talk about my guy. Cover your ears, everyone. We did not adjust the volume.

I know. It's good stuff. Isaac Tesla of the Detroit Lions. This is being brought up because right now Kalief Raymond is banged up. There is a chance that he misses. This isn't an absolute must-add, but someone you could just throw on the back of a bench. And I mean, Tesla, he has showed up in all the opportunities that he has been given. Should he get to be a full-time wide receiver three for Detroit this week, there's a chance that he really shows up and he just takes that job. And as of right now, Jamison Williams is getting targets, but it's just not coming through.

A lot of breaking news and trades and things have happened like while we're recording or just before recording. Yesterday, right after we finished recording, we got the big news that the Bengals had acquired Joe Flacco from the Browns. And I was like, oh darn, we didn't get to react to it.

I think that was good in this specific instance because the knee-jerk immediate reaction was, hallelujah, Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins are saved. Yep. That was my initial thought. I was like, wow. Because we had just talked on the show about how I think it's going to get worse. You've only got Brett Rippin farts behind Browning right now. Yeah, it's your shell high chance for Chase after the mid-game. Yeah, you should sell him. And as soon as that news came through, they trade for Joe Flacco. It was like, oh man, I wish we didn't say we should sell him. It's all better.

They get an O-line with Flacco? And that's the thing is like Flacco's about to die. Flacco is going to be hit a lot. I mean, Jake Browning is Lamar Jackson if you're just talking about the legs compared to Joe Flacco. You're not wrong. And so is Burrow. Burrow's great with pocket awareness and movement and all of that. And he just, I mean, this offensive line doesn't exist for the Bengals. You put a statue there. Yeah, he snaps the ball and he puts his feet in two buckets of cement. That's how he gets ready to throw the football. And J.J. Zacharyson had shared this.

His rating under pressure, according to PFF. Joe Flacco's. Out of, in 2024, 41st out of 43 qualified quarterbacks went under pressure. It's not last. This year, 36 out of 38. Also not last. But like the reason he, he did not start in Cleveland. Because they pulled him off the field because he was turning the ball over and getting sacked too much and not moving the offense. So, look, Jerry Judy and Isaiah Bond are not T. Higgins and Jamar Chase. He will give a little bit more of a floor to those guys, in my opinion. But not to the level of potential excitement that your league mates might have.

And that's where you have to ask yourself, are they still a sell option? Yes. This is good news for the Bengals' offense. It is. Because we talked about it. You had Brett ripping farts behind him. That's worse than Joe Flacco. This is who? Who has got released. Yeah. Go. All right. Yeah. Nice. Quiet. But deadly. It was pretty silent. Yeah. Silent, unnoticed. No one cared. Not deadly at all. And so, this is good news. It is good news. For T. Higgins. For Jamar Chase. But it is not great news. Jamar Chase is not back. Jamar Chase is not going to be a top three wide receiver with Joe Flacco with this offensive line.

And so, is this a trade opportunity? I think you just see if maybe someone is completely hyped. Like, oh my gosh, I'm willing to pay preseason Jamar Chase, you know. You're not getting that. But people go crazy with news. I mean, last year when Amari Cooper got traded to the Buffalo Bills, it was like, oh my gosh, he's got Josh Allen. Josh Allen's got. And someone traded him for Jamar Chase just on the hype of the news. I don't know. Someone accepted a trade. But go on. Okay. Someone accepted a trade. But my point is, people do wild things with hype news.

And if you can get a wild thing, then I would be willing to do it. It's hope and it's the chance. You think you're the sharp. Right. You think you're the one that's going to take advantage of the situation. It's like buying, you know, buying a stock that's really low that could go way up. The hope for me with Flacco is, Flacco is, he's just, he has a better quarterback than Jake Browning. So it's like the quick stuff. I think that Flacco will be able to identify the quick hitting passes, get it out better and faster than Jake Browning. And should they call like a double move, I think that Flacco will see it faster.

So it's just, it's about processing. So I think that you get a slight bump up. Yes. But you do. My tweet was literally, it's something. Yeah, it is. Because they had to do something. Their division is somehow still not out of reach, which is absolutely absurd. Them starting 2-0 and the collapse of the Ravens have set them up to where you're just trying to find a way to get Joe Burrow back for the playoffs. Also, Joe Flacco is playing the Packers again. He beat them. He did. He beat them once. I don't think the Bengals defense will play as well as the Browns defense.

You don't think so? I don't. Okay. Could be wrong. The earliest that I'm seeing Burrow able to get back since he had surgery on September 19th is basically the week 16 game. So Burrow will not be seen again unless they're optimistic. It would. I hope it happens. It would be real fun if Joe Flacco was good. Also, the fact of if you get through week 16, Joe Flacco has somehow helped carry this team to the playoffs. If he did that, you can't. And they'll be like, see ya, pal. Thanks so much. Maybe. It's Joe Burrow time. Yeah. They're, yeah. This report seems insane to me.

Well, Dylan Gabriel is going to be the starter in Cleveland. Yeah. Mm-hmm. And, um. Yeah. There's, there's follow-out on the other side too. You know, like I thought Gabriel managed the game pretty well. Uh, he's not a special player necessarily. If this is real, I'm shocked. Wait. Mary Kay Cabot says Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski will wait until later in the week to decide if Shador Sanders will be the number two. Right now, Shador Sanders is the number two because he's the only other quarterback on the roster. But they did sign someone to the practice squad. Really? Mary Kay tweeted that?

It's pretty, is that, can we verify that that's the real person? Because that just seems. Well, she is a real person, but. No, I know that she. It's a screenshot. I know that she's a real person. I just, I'm in the world of AI. Yeah, that's fair. And it not being a direct link to a tweet. I'm just wanting to. Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, never trust a screenshot. Never. If you have two quarterbacks in your roster and you have to come out and say that the second one might not be your two. Bailey Zappi. I just think that's wild. Zap, zap, zap.

It was her, yes. Okay. So it's real. Okay. So Bailey Zappi's on the practice squad. That's an unacceptably bad comment for the future of Shador Sanders. Yeah. We all assume he'll get snaps this year. Yeah. I mean, when this trade happened, it was like, well, I don't think Dylan Gabriel is going to be able to do enough to where he's just locked in every week, no matter what, for the rest of the season. And the Browns are winning so many games that the calls for the Shador Sanders won't come. So Shador Sanders should get starts, but that's only if he's the backup.

He said he wants to do what's best for the team and the players and that they're trying to develop Shador Sanders very intentionally. But you're going to draft a quarterback next year. Yeah. That's the issue. So find out now. Yeah. They may develop a path out of Cleveland for him. Jalen Warren arrow pointed up for his return. I like the quote is arrow is pointed. Normal. Is it arrow is pointing? Okay. The arrow's pointing. Arrow's pointing up. Not, not for Tom and arrow is pointed up. It's already done. I'll be honest with you. That didn't really stand out as strange to me at all.
