And you are picking between Fleener and Allen. You are picking between Fleener and a guy like Owen Daniels? I don't think you're picking between Alan. I think Alan's one of those guys who's in your lineup. Not this week, if you're smart. I think Fleener outperforms Alan this week. So. Fleener versus Allen? I knew you're going to say. Yeah, sure. All right. Waterbed it. Put it on the boy. Kobe Fleener. I've got the gut feeling that Fleener is going to.

135 passagesKeep me out of the water. Kobe Fleener is very all or nothing. Four catches, 77 yards and a touchdown last game. We'll see. He can have big games. So, all right, Alan versus Kobe Fleener. All right. The defense, I'm taking the forgotten about San Diego Chargers. They are available in 23%, or they're only owned in 23%. Yeah, they've forgotten about because they've scored very poorly in the last few weeks. Just one week.
Multiple negatives. In the past few weeks? Pretty sure. Well, all that doesn't really matter. Yeah, it doesn't change your pet. Because they're playing the Oakland Raiders. Yes. And the Raiders are not good. They're not good. They're prone to giving the ball away. Did you see that play by them this weekend? Where Derek Carr shoveled past it to his O-Linman, who took two steps and then fumbled? Yes. Yeah, so it was an illegal pass, but then he fumbled so they still lost the ball. That's amazing.
Yeah, the Chargers actually were really good the first five weeks of the year, and then they gave up, in our league, our scoring is a little crazy, but they gave up negative points to Denver. They gave them 35 points against the Denver, 37 points against the Miami. Okay, so the last two weeks. Yeah. And I think... Yeah, they have a lot of potential against Oakland this week, who is a turnover factory. Yes. Who do you got at defense? I'm going to go with the Redskins coming off the buy. The Redskins coming off the by against Tampa.
Tampa Bay just really likes donating points to defenses. It doesn't get very complicated. It's so funny because I have about zero percent interest in actually watching that game. Oh my gosh, it's going to be a terrible game. If you say, hey, you want to watch the Washington Buccaneer game? I said absolutely not, but now I have to. Yeah. How much time do we have, by the way? We're good. We're good? We're good. All right, so let's...
Let's hit up everyone's favorite segment. Ooh, it's my favorite. The Fantasy Footballers versus the world. This is where we take on the world with our knowledge. That's right. Why don't you explain it? And we hit up some start-sit questions, which you can go to FantasyPros.com and get all of your start-sit questions answered with standard half-PPR, full PPR. But I go to the site, see what people are asking about, and I...
grab what I think are five somewhat close and then we close is in up for grabs hard to pick hard to decide and then we can give a little bit a little bit of analysis on it so first on the list oh I didn't write the teams but that's all right I've got Mike Wallace or Brandon Lafell well Mike Wallace is playing Buffalo on Thursday and Brandon Lafell is playing Indianapolis okay well you talk I'll try and fill the rest of these in
That's good. So as far as I'm concerned on this one, it's not difficult for me. Really? No, it's not. I'm actually going Mike Wallace all the way. He's proven to me that he will get in the end zone pretty much once a game. And I'm just worried about Lafell going on, off, on off the way he's been playing. So it could be, it's probably a close call, but I'm going to go with Mike Wallace. Okay. And I'm actually going to lean.
The other direction. LaFelle. I like LaFelle. I've liked him a lot. I think that Pagano, you're not going to completely stop Gronk. That's not what we're saying. But I think he's going to put a lot of eggs into slowing Gronk as much as he possibly can. And that's going to leave Lafell open, which they had, I think, three shots of deep shots that...
That should have been caught the last time the Patriots played for Lafell. They just Brady overthrew him, or Lafell just barely missed it. So I'm going with Lafell. All right, pull it up. Let's pull it on up. Are you doing it? Yeah, I got it. It's just loading here. Mike Wallace, 69% of experts agree. Mike Wallace is the better start this week. If you drop that end to PPR, it looks the exact same, 6733. You know, Lafell's not a PPR guy.
No. So our next option here are Garbage Time King, Kelvin Benjamin versus the Falcons, or Deshawn Jackson from that epic Tampa Washington game we've been talking about. So who do you take here? Because for me, actually, it's not too hard. That's actually a very difficult one for me. Both Falcons and Tampa have terrible defenses.
And they both, and Benjamin and Deshawn both have shaky quarterbacks. It's true, my friend. The man, I'll take D-Jacks. Well, I'm going with Kelvin Benjamin. So let's take a look here and see who the experts side with.
And the result is Kelvin Benjamin, 62%, D. Sean Jackson, 38%. Sorry. I like when I take the lower-tiered percentage, and then I'm right. Yeah, it happens sometimes. All the time. The next one on the list is Bobby Rainey or Darren Sproles. Make it rain. Sproles has got Green Bay. Rainy. We just can't get away from the Washington, Tampa game. Yeah, those things happen. So who do you got here?
So the question here is Bobby Rainey's the starter. Washington is not good. Green Bay is their defense is actually coming on. They made a change with Clay Matthews is now on the inside, and it seems to be paying off for Green Bay. So Darren Sproul is the backup, even though he has performed.
better than LaShawn McCoy. But I still, I'm going to have to lean on the starter because I like the touches. I like the opportunity, so I would still go Bobby Rainey. And I'm going to agree with you on that one. I'm going to go Bobby Rainey as well. So let's go and take a look at that. A Sproul's touchdown would not surprise me at all, though. And the experts agree.
The experts agree. Is that one heavy? Bobby Rainey. No, 58% to 42%. And actually, if you go into PPR, it flips. So, Sproles goes to 57% in PPR. Really? Over Rainy. So, in full PPR. And it's actually a 50-50 on half PPR. What's crazy is, is rainy. He does catch past. Rainy is great when through the air. Yeah. But they're, I don't think they give me enough. Well, Sims is supposed to be that guy, too. Yeah.
Uh, this is a really interesting one. Stephen Jackson versus the Panthers or C.J. Anderson versus St. Louis. All right. You start us off. I'm finishing this. Yeah, that's fine. Uh, for me, this is, uh, it's a tough call. I, I'm going to go with, whew. I thought it was a, I thought I had it. Yeah, I'll go with C.J. Anderson. Um, now I bring this, I went with this one because one, we don't know if C. J. Anderson's the guy. And,
Stephen Jackson, we glossed over this because he had a great week. The last two weeks, this past week, 16 for 81 and 1, and that was against Tampa Bay. It's a lot of carry. He played Detroit, the super stout Detroit defense. The other week, 18 for 60 in a touchdown. On Detroit. Yeah. The usage.
I don't know why it took him this long to ride with Stephen Jackson, though he does not have much left, I think he still has at least a little bit left to offer. And I know we're hyping up C.J. Anderson, but just the unknown of is he going to be the guy, and I know Stephen Jackson's the guy in the Panthers. Although the Panthers' run defense looked a lot better, I would say on Monday.
But I'm going to lean Stephen Jackson. All right, good call. Stephen Jackson is a 7331 favorite. If you drop it to PPR at 6238, still Stephen Jackson. Interesting pick there. And the last one is a good one here. Martavis Bryant, and he's facing the Titans on Monday night, or DeAndre Hopkins. Versus the Browns. Just playing the Browns. Now, who would you take in this situation? The...
I would say normally you're absolutely going Hopkins. He's been great all year. But the Texans decided that they're going to make a quarterback change and they're going with Ryan Mallet. So the uncertainty there concerns you. Yes. Mallet has had the by week to get some practice in. Sure. But the Titans are not good. The Steelers are playing in prime time. Big Ben stunk against a great matchup.
And I think they're going to turn it around, so I would go with Bryant. Well, the experts agree with you, because I already opened it up before I could make my prediction. So we'll just go with your prediction there. And they took Martavis Bryant. What's the percentage on there, though? On a standard league at 6238, if you drop it to PPR, Hopkins is actually the winner by far. So it depends on what you need. It has to be the mallet factor. Because I think there's...
Well, Hopkins is going to catch more overall passes. But no, I'm saying if you would have asked this, I think to me, if Fitzpatrick is still the quarterback coming out of the biweek, it's Hopkins. It's not a choice for me. Well, part of it is, I mean, Bryant has played four games and he's put up four big games. He just hasn't laid an egg yet. And so because of that, I think people are jumping on and the matchup Titans. Is he due for the do-do? I hope not. He's on my flex this week.
But yeah, that is fantasy footballers versus the world. We're going to go ahead and answer some questions now. Mailbag. That's right. That's right. I do that live, people. Yeah, I was going to say that's pretty spry for a hitman. So this is a pretty self-explanatory segment of the show. Mailbag. We answer mail. Not snail mail because... No, you email us stuff. We don't... We don't even have an address...
A street address. We do, but we don't. It's football heavy. I don't want you to know what it is. Yeah. Don't come visit me. So if you send us questions on Facebook, which is facebook.com, or via email, which is the fantasy footballers at gmail.com, either of those addresses, you send in your question. We will answer them on the air. And if you put a humorous name, we will probably... You're expedited. You're expedited to the top of the list.
but then you have to remember what name you chose, otherwise you won't remember we're answering your question. So we've got a few submissions this week that we're going to get through. And the first one here, do you have it pulled up? I do. The first one, the writer is named, the end is too tight. Okay. I'm guessing this is a tight-in question. It is a tight-in question.
It's a tight end. The end is too tight. The end is too tight. It's a tight end start question. Is that a famous proverb? Possibly. I feel like I saw that in a fortune cookie ones. Martellus Bennett or Dwayne Allen. Now we talked a little bit about Dwayne Allen's versus playing the Patriots. How about you answer this one? How about that? Chicago is playing Minnesota. Martellis Bennett has been very hot cold this year.
Dwayne Allen has emerged to, I believe, become a, in every week starting tight end. And I would, I don't know what the New England numbers are versus tight end. Oh, wait, you said they're middle of the road. Correct. And going with that, Minnesota's defense is underrated because their offense is so bad. Usually they're going to be great this week. I'm going to go with Dwayne Allen. Okay.
I actually disagree. And it's not just because Kobe Fleener is my start of the week. But also, Martell's Bennett was targeted in abundance this past week. Yes. He was coming off an injury, and he dropped at least three balls, one that would have been a touchdown. So I'm going to go with Bennett. All right. We checked it out on fantasy pros right here. In standard, Martell has been at 58% to Duane. It's pretty close. You've got to go with your gut or your favorite fantasy footballers analyst.
But Martel's been, it's obviously the right to pick. What's the next one on the left here? I think we're supposed to do this together. It says tongue clicks. I will do the tongue clicks and you read the name. Okay. Read the name. Drop it like it's hot. It's a Snoop Dogg's home. You're not hip at all. I'm not hip at all. You are the oldest, whitest man I know. You know? For a young 30s man. I didn't even know what tongue clicks meant when I saw it on here. You've never heard that this is... That's a tongue click.
