paid tournaments like NFFBC or I can't remember one of the I can't remember football tournaments yeah one of the big Vegas ones they actually removed Peterson from the player pool when this all happened because they didn't want something like this to happen where he's out the whole year and then someone can just snip him right before the fancy playoffs and then your team is ridiculous so if you didn't get I think he's owned everywhere now sure yeah we've been talking about him

14:46 ↗

So if you didn't get them, you're probably too late. Let's move it on. This week's fantasy stud muffins. All right. Let's start. We're going to list off some guys who had some big games, and we're going to talk about do we like them moving forward. Yes, yes. There were quite a few big games, some surprises this week. Let's start at the quarterback position. So this week, surprise.

15:15 ↗

Well, one of them was not a surprise because he was my start of the week. But Josh McCown, Mark Sanchez, Michael Vic. They all had great, well, not great, but very good fantasy games. We know Michael Vicks on a buy next week. But let's say, moving forward, which of these three guys do you want to guide your team? Yeah, if it's me moving forward, it goes Sanchez, Vic McCown, believe it or not.

15:44 ↗

And that's not really saying too much. Sanchez inherits a very potent offense, and he's proven in preseason and in the regular season so far that he can move the ball with them. So I think Sanchez is your highest upside, best option moving forward. McCown had a good game, but I haven't seen enough from him. Vic, I liked what I saw two weeks ago. He's been...

16:09 ↗

careful with the ball. Health is a very big question mark for Michael Vick. It is. And McCown so far this year. So for me, Sanchez stands out among them and then the other two are kind of... I would completely agree with that. The one thing I just want to say, no, it's been a while since I've seen Sanchez play, but I don't remember such a ferocious pump fake. He was throwing out like every single...

16:35 ↗

It was very Brett Farv-esque. Every play, he would throw a huge, very big. Pump fake. Yeah. I mean, it must have got the work done, huh? Because his receivers were always wide open. Again, he was playing the Panthers. Playing against Green Bay will have a much clearer resolution of is Sanchez actually capable or not. That'll be a good game. I'm looking forward to that game. I am too. Philly, Green Bay. That should be excellent. Here's a guy that just.

17:04 ↗

blew up this week. He's the guy that if you were listening to our podcast about three weeks ago, he's the guy that I said you should grab instead of Ronnie Hillman. That is fair. Now, I'm not gloating in that fact because it's come a little longer. But I saw the potential in him if he got the opportunity. And then C.J. Anderson had a monster game for Denver this week. He did. What do you make of C.J. Anderson going forward? Does he need to be?

17:33 ↗

grabbed right away. Yeah, he absolutely has to be rostered just in case because he's the Denver running back. Maybe he's the guy. Reports are saying Monte Ball is going to be back this week. He's lost some weight. He's lost weight, which I actually like when I hear that about running backs. Like Leveon Bell lost a good amount of weight. So it's, that is a mess. You're really throwing a dart.

18:02 ↗

of who you think's going to be the guy. And the problem is, is the Denver running back will be a fantasy stud. Yes. But you've got to figure out who it is. Yeah, so you've got to get in on it. You have to grab a share and hope that the roulette wheel lands on your guy. That's true. Let me bring up three other guys here that had big weeks real quick. Okay. And you put them in order for me. Three youngsters.

18:27 ↗

Three youngster-wide receivers that had big weeks. Jordan Matthews, two touchdowns. Martavis Bryant with his fourth straight game with a touchdown. Which was garbage, but it is what it is. They count the same. Yeah, and Mike Evans had another good game, and that was pretty neat to see with McCown. So if you had to put these three guys in order moving forward, which I think is probably pretty hard, which one would you put up top? Jordan Matthews.

18:56 ↗

Just further along my hypothesis of backup quarterbacks like their backup receivers, Jordan Matthews was the go-to guy that entire game. I think Macklin had three catches or something. It was very, very, it was by far his lowest game in the year. And Matthews exploded was massive. Evans, the question mark was, can he do it with Josh McCown? Because he's been...

19:24 ↗

Evans has been heating up, and Bryant is still splitting time with Marcus Wheaton, even though Bryant still, he produces every single week. But his production is so reliant on touchdowns that I would rank them. I would go Jordan Matthews because I think I like the Eagle offense, and I just, I think that Sanchez will keep going to him. Good rapport.

19:54 ↗

I'm going to go, Jordan Matthews, Evans, Bryant. And that is not saying I dislike Brian. I've talked many times about how much I like him. I just think those other guys, it's playing time is what it is. Yeah, and you know, that's the thing is, do you believe Martavis is going to continue to get more and more snaps? I do, but for now. Yeah, honestly, those three guys are, it's tough for me to put them in any type of order. I tend to put.

20:23 ↗

I think I put Matthews down a little bit. Just consistency factor. I feel like there's so many weapons in that offense, it's going to rotate through. You're going to have a Macklin game. You're either going to have a Riley Cooper game. The other thing I has read about, which I think can also factor into Matthews success, is because he's the slot guy, that's where Sanchez is good.

20:52 ↗

He's good in the middle. He's not an outside-the-numbers thrower, which is Macklin and Cooper. Riley Cooper. Remember when that guy got a five-year contract? Yes, and right after you had those comments. Oh, brutal. A quick note, Terrence West appears to be the Brown's running back moving forward.

21:16 ↗

Not according to beat riders in Cleveland. Oh, seriously? Now they're changing it again? No, I mean, the sentiment in Cleveland is that we have no idea. The sentiment is week to week. Based on practice reps week to week. This week West got like 47% of the snaps. Tate got 33%. Crowell got 20%. But this has got hands off, although they ran 50-something times. And I don't know if you noticed this, but there was the Crowell.

21:46 ↗

what was called a fumble, which was clearly not a fumble. Yeah, and then he got benched for it. He got benched. I know. What are these coaches doing? You have a problem with that. I have a huge problem with that. And especially when you're not consistent, Lovie Smith, Charles Sims. Oh, his very first game, he comes in and he fumbles. I remember when Bobby Rainey was being electric, and he fumbled a bunch and you send him to the bench for Mike James.

22:15 ↗

He is a clown show going on. Calling him out. Calling him out. It seriously gets me so fired up. Yeah. And Jeremy Hill. Jeremy Hill got benched too. For a fumble that was a, like, that was a good hit. That was a helmet to the ball from the back. I mean, there's not many guys who won't fumble that ball. Then he benches. Fumbles happen. He benches him. And then he lets Andy Dalton have.

22:43 ↗

who's having the worst game of his entire career. Just keep throwing. Just keep throwing, Andy Dalton. You're not five yards within a receiver every time you throw it, but we're going to keep throwing, and then one guy fumbles once, and he's to the bench. Yeah. Clown show. Inconsistent. One guy I want to bring up that's not on our list is not a surprise for people. It's Jimmy Graham. Jimmy Graham is back, baby. He is. And I bring him up because...

23:13 ↗

At what percentage of snaps do you think Jimmy Graham played despite his... He almost had three touchdowns this past week, and he had two. Big game. I don't know. 80%? 73. He's only at 73% of snaps right now. Coming back off the shoulder injury. But if you watch that game, he's back. He's back. So we should probably move on here. Yeah, I took up some time. I apologize. It's okay. Poopped in his big boy pants. We're going to start this section with some breaking news of...

23:46 ↗

of... Is it you? Of old pants. Old pants. The bears have waved San Antonio Holmes. You know, it's funny because I noticed that when they played the other night, it was Josh Morgan catching passes in number 19. So that makes sense. There you go. So this is... Not a guy you cared about. No, but I like to break news. Just in case someone from like five years ago was listening and they wanted... They had him on his roster. So we take guys who are considered...

24:15 ↗

uh weekly starters and they have an awful performance and we say yeah we should always explain the poop the big boy pants section just in case there's a new listener wondering what in the heck they're listening to uh yeah these are guys that you expected big numbers from but they laid an egg in their pants uh hot tip we we didn't actually we don't think they really pooped their pants no no that's more of a figurative this is not literal yeah although

24:44 ↗

Dalton. He had the looks of a man with something wrong, something going wrong, because he was Denver 33 and looked like a Pop Warner kid throwing with the wrong hand. It was so painful to watch. He just cashed out too, didn't he? Yeah. Well, he's on a year-to-year type of. Capernick pay as you go. But so, so bad.

25:14 ↗

Just wide open guys, he's not getting anywhere close. Now, of course, he had a couple of receivers, even AJ Green dropping passes too. The whole team imploded. Except for another guy who happens to be on this list, although he should not be, which is Jeremy Hill, who I think he still averaged about four and a half yards of carry. But he did not get the ball. He wasn't getting the work because the...

25:40 ↗

coaching staff freaked out that they were down by two scores with a whole half of football. So moving forward, translating it into, for people with considerations of Hill starting. Are you still comfortable starting him? Yes. You are. I think. And obviously, Dalton, you can kick to the curb. I have to believe that a... I can't think of the Bengals coach right now. Yeah, you can't think of it either. Well, now you boggled me out. Hold on a second. I got it. I got it. Hold on. Oh, my gosh. I keep...

26:09 ↗

I almost said something ridiculous. Anyways, I can't imagine that they... It's only been there like 400 years, Marvin Lewis. There we go, Lewis. That they don't sit down and watch the game film and go, man, we screwed that up. What's funny is Hugh Jackson's a running coach. The strength of their team is running the ball. Yeah. So moving forward, you like Hill, Dalton, never look at him again. Here's a guy that I'm done with. I'm done.

26:37 ↗

Oh, oh. I'm done. Oh, oh, are we talking top three pick? Something's wrong. Shady McCoy. Yeah. Shady McCoy, I mean, in a game like last night, Shady McCoy of a year ago would have gone for $2.50. Something is not right. I don't know if it's mental. I don't know if it's offense. I don't know if it's sprawls and not getting in the rhythm. Something's wrong with Shady McCoy and...

27:06 ↗

I don't think he's, I mean, he's certainly not worth where he was drafted, but now you have to get into the conversation of genuinely, are you flexing him? Are you flexing a guy like Martavis Bennett, Mike Evans, Sandy Watkins? You have to make decisions like that now. That's crazy to even think that. I know teams will bury themselves this year playing Shady McCoy. That's the thing. Teams going into the playoffs, teams in the playoffs have the potential of loyally starting him because of where he was drafted.

27:35 ↗

And it hurts to bench a guy like that. But what do you do? What was he, 18 for 25 last night or something? 18 for 29. It was something like that. And he was gifted a touchdown. Yeah. On the Brent Selleck was reviewed to be down. Yeah, that's not something you count on. A free gift touchdown? Well, and guess how many touchdowns it gives them on the year? Two. Two.

28:00 ↗

Two. Now, I'm not, he had good games before this. No touchdowns. He had 22, 21, 24 carries. Last night he was 12 for 19. He's had games of three points, two points, 11, nine this year. He's not, he's an RB2, RB3 cusp guy. That is so crazy. I know. It's tough. Because he's so talented. But, you know, he also thought he was so talented. And sometimes you see guys. Yeah. Yeah.
