You are 100% entering the pit of the danger zone here. The danger zone with Debo. My point is not that, you know, you need to look at him like a bona fide guaranteed going to be in your lineup every week player because he could get hurt. But Debo, Samuel, when he plays, is good for fantasy players. Yeah. Over a 16 game sample, he's good for fantasy players. So I think both of these players, you know, Debo's rookie year, he did play with Kittle and Emmanuel Sanders.

133 passageswho were having career years and he still had a nice season. So I think both have unique roles in the offense. You're going to get, you know, a lot of broken tackles with Debo. He's number one in all of football since he came into the league because they give him the ball and they say go knock people over and then he goes and gets hurt. But when he plays, I think he does represent a value and you're talking about somebody that's almost being drafted as a wide receiver four. He's not a wide receiver four for fantasy.
He's not. He's not that on the field. He just has an injury risk that people need to pay attention to. Debo is difficult, as well as Brandon Ayuk and honestly putting the full confidence into George Kittle. I have Darren Waller ranked ahead of George Kittle because of my projection of Trey Lance of taking over this team sooner than later. Because when you factor in a rookie quarterback and a mobile rookie quarterback,
Coming in and, like, Trey Lance, for as excited as I am to see him on the football field, excited for him to be my fantasy quarterback, I don't think his passing volume is going to sustain three high-level receiving options, especially this year. So that's my concern for all three guys. Going in on all three of these guys. One of them more than likely will be awesome, but it will be at the expense of the other two, the other two once.
Trey Lance takes over. Yeah, you got to kind of call your shot. You do. On whether you're a kiddle or bits. And I'm an Iyuk. You're a Debo. So you're the bits. The wider receivers are the bits on the team? Well, you know, it goes with kiddle and bits. So, you know, just follow the joke. You're definitely an Iyke guy and you made a compelling argument and he's a great player. So I, Debo is a couple rounds behind him and still worth a draft pick of my opinion.
And play him when he's healthy. And, you know, when he's not healthy, I wouldn't play him as much. If you have an IR spot, it makes drafting Debo a lot easier. That whole team, I mean, we're talking, we talk about him every day for another injury. Now, what is your, a week ago I asked you, before to close things out, a week ago I asked you where your, like, head was out on the possibility of Tray Lance starting. Another week has gone by. I certainly think it's a possibility, like.
Kyle Shanahan's keeping it close to the vest, but he came out and he said, I have a good idea of what I'm going to do, which is, you know, always nice to hear. And the follow up to that is, I thought I saw a quote that Gropolo was asked about it. And he essentially said, like, I'm not going to say, but smiled. Maybe I'm misread it. But there still is the option that Trey Lance is the weak one starter. I don't think he will be. Okay. I think that Gropolo will start out the season.
But now more and more reports of, well, we're going to have Trey Lance on the field with certain offensive packages like Taysam Hill. And to me, that's even worse news for Garapolo, that if you get Tray Lance on the field showing that he's competent and he's able to make splash plays and move the offense, that's just even more reason you get more and more comfortable that Tray Lance is going to be the guy. Let's make the transition. Definitely a possibility.
He's going to have fewer opportunities to make his mark. But if you believe in Trey Lance, he's going to make it. We want to thank pristine auction.com for supporting the show. Imagine being named JK and you're not a funny person. You're just like real serious. Huh, that'd be a problem. I'll bet you'd just be acting serious. And then you'd say, JK, see tomorrow. Goodbye. Mock draft tomorrow.
