The regular season in the books? Welcome to the preseason. You speak the truth, Jason. It's actually the post season. No, no, no. It is both the post and the preseason. I am still recovering from the Arizona Cardinals whipping on Sunday. I'm moving on. I've mentally blocked it, so I don't even know what you're talking about. Yeah, there was no games on Sunday.

Yeah, we're back. We're the fantasy footballers. And this is our Tuesday show. And if you didn't pick up on, pick up your phone and see a Monday show, that's because there wasn't a Monday show. So today on the show, we've got our fantasy rewind. We will go through the studs and duds of this past week. And we're going to talk a little bit about the playoff matchups. Well, then you can vote on the ballot. A voting ballot. This is breaking news to me. It's not a survey. They don't hand out a survey for the Academy Awards. Fair enough. It's a ballot. All right. But yeah, so a lot's still going on. We're excited about the playoffs. It's so different with less games to watch. I mean, there's some aspects of, like, obviously we love what we do, right? Like? Yeah. I thought we were talking about the playoffs. And I was getting ready to say, like, the...

Watching games on Sunday morning, you have that shotgun effect of, I mean, I'm on my couch. So I have, my TV is dedicated to single game. So I try and catch drives of when important things. Then I got Red Zone on the computer so I don't miss any touchdowns. And Sunday morning. And you're typing to us. Yeah, and Sunday morning is just, is chaos. It is chaos.

But while I'm just sitting on a couch. So it's kind of a funny juxtaposition of how frantic my brain is firing, yet I sit on a very comfortable couch. That is correct. Yeah. And that's why the children don't understand that. Correct. The children don't understand what's going on your head and being distracted from those elements. But I like this. I love the single game. So I love the primetime game because I can focus on everything that's happening. And that's what I was getting to is I am looking forward to.

The NFL playoffs. Two games on Saturday. Two games on Sunday. It doesn't get much better than that. So quick question of the day. Some feedback from you guys. Best and worst of the season. What's your best and worst moments of the season? I will jump in here then. My best moment. Speaking of the kind of the highlight yearbook video clip video, which we were talking about, Brooks found the original David Johnson call out.

There's a lot of people have asked, how did that happen? Why do you sing his name? And the true story of how that happened was David Johnson was a guy that, especially Jason and I, after the, we're combine nerds. So when a guy puts up a huge combine production, then you factor in, they dominated in college like David Johnson did. I was so excited when Arizona drafted him that that just happened to come out during the show.

So he caught the origin of it. It was excitement. It was an overflow. Yes. It just poured out. I just had to sing. Sure. You never have those moments. You just have to sing. Right, right. Me and Jason have them all the time. Yeah. And so the best moment of the year for me was the David Johnson Eagles game. It was a culmination of everything I thought that could possibly happen if he was given the workhorse role. So it was just a fantastic.

Fantastic treat for my eyeballs. What was your worst moment of the year? My worst moment of the year is far more fantasy related. It was week two in my money league. And I went to sleep a winner. I woke up, stat corrected a loss by 0.04. And on top of that, we award a point for winning your matchup. And then you get a point for being in the top six. So there's two possible points you can get every week.

My point correction knocked me out of both. You... So that was rough. You tend to wear those bad beats for a little while. Yeah, I'm a salty guy. Yeah. I'm surprised that that was your moment, not the getting knocked out of the playoffs by Golden Tate. Uh, yeah. So... I mean, that was pretty bad, too. How about you, Jason? What was your best... Well...

I mean, come on. The best moment was, of course, winning the League of Record Championship. That's in your life, right? You know, right. Actually, I will say this. I almost thought that I, looking back, I loved winning the championship, but I think I might have been happier when I beat Andy to get to the championship. Just like, because I saw your team as better.

than the championship team. So I felt like that was where I won the championship. And also I think I've lost you about three years in a row in the playoffs. So I was very happy to get that over with. My worst, the worst thing that I've experienced this year was way back in draft season for one of our main leagues. We did an auction league and I was the auctioneer offline.

And I was drafting a team, and I just can't. You had never done the auctioneer. I had never been the auctioneer before, the commissioner and done the auctioneering offline. If you're doing an offline auction draft, don't hire somebody. Yeah, get someone else. Are you doing that again next year? Oh, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. All right. So we'll give somebody 20 bucks and they'll come out and do it. It was very comedic because you, it seemed like what happened was at different times in the,

in the actual draft, which lasted seemingly forever. You just decided, okay, I better just draft the guy. You just randomly choose the guy. I'm just going to bid on him. I had no idea who was on my roster. I had no idea what I was doing in that draft. Well, I would say one of my best moments is similar to mics in the sense that there are certain guys we talked up before the season that paid off big for listeners. And that kind of was the Tyler Eifford's story from the beginning of the year. But he came out in week one with a couple of touchdowns against Oakland.

You know, he was a late round flyer for us for a lot of leagues where people were drafting guys quite a bit ahead of him. So that was a very satisfying week as a fantasy analyst. I completely agree. To come into the show and know that not only did my team, who drafted Tyler Eifford do well, but really, everybody who listened to the show got a bargain on him. And he carried that through the year, 13 touchdowns on this season, despite some of the injury stuff. I would say my worst moment, plural, would be.

Yeah, well, there's moments when it comes to Arian Foster. Both times he got injured. He was my preseason number one guy, goes out. We had all the hilarity and mockery of Arian, because obviously what was the warning about Arian Foster is my number one guy? He tends to get hurt. A little bit injury prone. Injury prone. Then he comes back and dominate fantasy-wise.

And then he goes down again. So all of the, all the Arian fought, I mean, he's my guy. He goes way back with me. He goes back to the beginning when everyone was drafting Ben Tate. And I was going, you know that Aaron Foster? I'm going to take him instead. What are your thoughts on your guy this year moving forward? Oh, Arian? Yeah. I have a feeling he could be in the same segment next year. So you feel like he can come back?

and still be good. I really, I would just be completely guessing. So my complete guess is that, yeah, I think if he plays, he's good. I guess that's really the question. He could retire. But if he doesn't, if he's still there in Houston, yeah, that's a defensive team that like handing the ball off. You tell him he's going to get competition from Alfred Blue, you're wrong. Well, Alfred Blue has two functioning Achilles. Well, that's true. Do you need those?

I've heard. Steve Smith's coming back. I've heard you need them. Who's more fantasy relevant next year? Steve Smith and Aryan Foster. That's a good question. Steve Smith is not going to be able to come back from that injury easy at his age. Aryan Foster, he's very injury prone. How old is Foster? But he has a lot of experience coming back from injury. So he knows what it takes. Aaron Foster is 29. And how old is Steve Smith? Is he like 33? 61. 61.
